My husband and I checked in at Hampton Inn Harrisonburg, VA on July 5, 2019 at 7:08PM. As soon as we entered the room, we heard a beeping sound apparently from the smoke detector alarm. My husband went down to complain and a technician was sent to our room. He changed the battery of the detector and the beeping sound stopped. We checked out the following day at 10:30AM.

This past Tuesday, I checked my credit card statement and noticed that I was charged a separate $100 by Hampton Inn on top of what we paid for a one night stay. I recently was able to plan a trip to the Traverse City area; one that I had not experienced before, and I was extremely excited about it. The friend I was traveling with suggested I sign up for the Hilton Honors Membership, which I did.

My experience with the Hampton Inn that we stayed at in Traverse City was – the only word I can come up with is ‘dreadful.’ Upon arriving at the hotel, all we saw were billowing tarps, and we realized that the hotel was undergoing renovations. We drove around and around, looking for an entrance. There was no sign advising which way the front door was so we circled and circled, trying 3 doors only to find them locked. There were no signs saying, “Pardon our Dirt.” We had to ask a construction worker where the entrance was.

we booked a room in weatherford texas on the 6th of September didn't get to check in until very late.

first they put a pet fee on my account when we had no pets then the incidental fee that they said would be taken off at check out wa salso charged when there was no damage to the room because I cleaned it up myself it was me my 2 kids and my husband and all we did was go to sleep.

I called and spoke to the front desk manager on a sunday she said that she would call me back on Monday by 5 I never got a call so I do not know if the fees were removed or not. the room also was not clean there was an ear plug in the bed and someones fingernail on the floor.

I had a reservation that was made December 14, 2018 for October 23-25, 2019. On September 10, 2019, I receieve a phone call from the General Manager of that particular Hampton Inn in Duncan, OK. that my room reservation would not be honored due to overbooking on a contract of rooms after the fact of when my reservation was made.

In speaking with the genearl manager, he said that the contract was a legal binding document they had to honor on a certain number of rooms and all others were cancelled and could find rooms in neighboring towns. Now the problem I have with that is reservations made via 3rd party online organizations, will say whether the rooms are sold out or not, Which seems to arise that the cotract of rooms was done after other reservations.

My first day as a housekeeper, another housekeeper, male. Tried grabbing my breast on multiple occasions. I told my executive housekeepers, she blow me off like I was gossiping. Then a few days later she told me the same guy said I was harassing him.

Stayed at Hampton Inn Hoffman Estates, Chicago the past two nights. When checking in our first room did not have a tv remote. The front desk clerk did not know how to remediate this problem. We left and upon ret she gave us a remote that did not work.

We were moved to another room which was across from the steps (343). We heard doors slamming until 1:40 am, then at 5:00 am the fire alarm was set off by someone vaping. The (only) plug in in the bathroom did not work.

When we talked to the clerk about it, she said to talk with the manager on Monday. ” When I explained that the rate I had gotten was the result of my personal online shopping and the poor experience we had at that location was a separate issue, she then conceded and gave me 20% off.

My problem began upon check in when I told the receptionist that my stay at Hampton Inn was being paid for by the company I was subcontracted to work for during the approach of Hurricane Dorian, and was made by a Mrs. Roxanne Brown.

My husband and I stayed at Tupelo, MS Sunday, Sept. 1, The hallways had not been vacuumed! There was a earbud on the floor of our room, a Bobby pin left on table by the phone and a 1/2 eaten cookie under the table! The pool had mold growing in the pool, rust on the door!

I was so disappointed as when we do travel we always chose Hampton over the other chains!

The room was horrible. As soon as we got to our room I called to get a crib for my baby. They brought one without a pad and his response was "people bring their own pads" I have NEVER heard of that before.

Then I called the front desk again and they said they would bring one or another crib which they never did. I had to call a 3rd time to get another crib at 10pm. By that time my baby was frustrated and we couldn't put him to sleep.

Needless to say we didn't sleep at all. Then we got the suite so my older son could sleep on the pull out sofa. When we tried pulling it out it didn't fit because it crashed with the bed. When we finally got it to open we now couldn't walk to the kitchen to make my baby his bottles without having to jump on the sofa bed.

Let me begin by saying Hampton Inn is our favorite place to stay when we travel and until last Thursday night Sept. 5 I have not been disappointed. We stayed at the Stockbridge, GA. Location. My main concern was that the Health score I saw posted in the breakfast area was 83 and. B.

There were two ladies on duty and one was kind enough to warm the cup of lukewarm decaf I had just drawn from the dispenser. I drew another cup about 15-20 minutes later and it was still lukewarm. I told the lady in the "kitchen" it was lukewarm.

My wife and I got a bowl of mixed fruit and tried every fruit and all were pretty much tasteless. I would suggest you look at management of this location and especially work on the health score. Maybe all breakfast areas have these low scores and I don't know it, but…

Stayed at the Hampton inn hotel in greenwood Mississippi. Woke to a roach in our bed. We were only offered another room. I feel that this doesn't even compensate for how this affected myself and my wife. Not to mention we had to drive to Memphis right after my Father's funeral because we didn't have a hotel room to sleep in.

I had just lost my dad and my entire family booked almost the entire hotel. I thought maybe a complimentary night in Minnesota would show that they care about their customers. I have pictures and witnesses. I showed the pictures at the front desk.

Hampton Inn in Harrisonburg, VA on 85 University Blvd was the worst Hampton I have ever stayed at. There was no place to park so we had to park next door. Several people were smoking weed and drinking in the parking lot.

People and kids were running around. Many double parked so they could smoke and drink outside of of their cars to begin with. The room smelled awful. The carpet was old and stunk filled with stains. The beds were hard as a rock and very uncomfortable.

There was dark hair all over the sheets in my bed especially the pillows. It looked like the sheets were not washed at all and just covered up. The air conditioner was so old and made a loud noise but most of all it had a musty foul lingering odor.

Prebooked Hampton inn for 2 adults and 3 children near universal in Orlando as we had previously on our month long holiday travelling around Usa found the Hampton to be best for comfort and experience. So we were excited to save a little luxury for our last two nights before returning home.

We stayed at the Hampton Inn-Michigan City for 2 nights. On Saturday 8/31/19, the people next door to us (Room 203) were very loud. I counted 10 people in there when the door was opened and they were drinking/partying. I went down to the front desk x3.

The first time, she called to get them to stop. They didn’t. The second time, she came up and talked to them. They didn’t stop. I went down again, and she said “Well, they just talk loud. We stayed in Edwards Inn 7040 Edwards Blvd Missassauga Canada, for one night, it was discusting, the room smelt of smoke, nothing worked, no breakfast available, no internet or wifi, no kleenex, no pool,and nobody cared when we complained, the room heater cooler did what it liked the other guests ranthe halls all night. I made a reservation couple of weeks ago for Hampton Inn ( via booking.com) in Staten Island, NY for checking-in on Aug 24 ( Sat), and checking out on/Aug 25, Sun) 2019. It was supposed to be nice family vacation When we arrived, I showed my reservation, and despite the fact that I was already charged on booking.com for this stay, they asked me to provide a credit card "just in case, it's a usual practice". Next day I realized that I got double charge - the one on booking. com, and another one, with higher rate, directly from the Hampton Inn. I went by the Hampton Inn & Suites yesterday off 35S/Wintergreen in Desoto, Tx, to view one of the larger suites. I was rudely disrespected by Carol Cullet the manager there. The agent at the desk showed my daughter and I the room, but on the way back down to the desk, she (Carol got on the elevator).

We stayed in Opelousas La Hampton Inn, fairly new hotel in the area, for an expected 5 night stay due to incoming hurricane. We ended up checking out after the third night and continued on our travel. While there 3 nights, 1 elevator was broken, the other one smelled of burnt wires and made noises while moving, the maid never came a single time to clean the room, towels, nothing.

When checking out, the hotel computer system was down so they took our information down by hand. Later I received my bill and was charged for the 5 nights and not the 3 nights. I have made 3 phone calls to the hotel directly and one to corporate, have not been allowed to speak with the manager, have been promised that the manager would call me back, still hasn't called me back.

My husband and I began stopping by your Hampton in Eufaula AL. Since the staff was so very friendly. This time from the time we checked in. We knew we were not welcome. Front desk associate was rude. Then we were walking down the hall and spoke to another badge wearing associate and he would not speak.

Next morning breakfast servers were also less than accommodating. This facility needs classes on customer service. In our company we would not put up for less than courteous team members.

My daughter and I stayed at the Hampton Inn in Black Mountain, NC on July 9,10 and check out on the 11. During our stay my daughter rights as a disabled person was violated. Due to her MS she has a service dog and under Hampton Inn policy a service dog can be used in the hotel.

The manger of the hotel called around 4 pm and said her dog was barking. I stated that her dog only barks as a result of someone knocking on the door or someone entering the room. We returned to our room around 7 and at this time she called once again stating that she had to move 2 people because of the dog and “we” needed to do something.

We stayed at Hampton Inn in Oak Ridge TN last night. We were very disappointed with quality of room. Just to list a few is sheets were not made for bed. Pillowcase had mold on it. Pipes were exposed in bathroom.

Air conditioning cover was not on. Ceiling in bathroom was not sanded or painted. This is just a few things I've mentioned. Eas very upsetting because it was my wife birthday and room was in such disarray.

I stayed at the Hampton Inn In Knightdale NC on July 20 and 21, 2019. When checking out On July 22 I forgot that I had a garment bag in the closet of Room 428 ! My reservation was made for 07/29-08/02. Reservation number 52005386. As soon as we checked in and went to the room to leave the luggage I tried to report a dirty floor. One of the ladies at front desk was very patronizing and kept asking the other lady as if I was not present- what is her problem ( talking about me) - we will shampoo the floor. Good morning, this past week I was in the Wilkes barre area for business and chose to stay at the Hampton inn. My stay started on 7/30/19 and ended on 8/2/19. After the first night I woke up and had what looked like two big bites on my right bicep.

I booked thru Expedia, a mistake as I didn't see the room first. I am used to a certain level of quality at a Hampton Inn and this fell short. Not received by friendly staff, room smelled, old and outdated.

Not told about breakfast, coffee, cookies or even offered a water. Upon taking the room, we went down to the desk to express our concerns and were met with eye rolls. Not an enjoyable experience and will look else where for return accommodations.

Not worth the money or displeasure....

My family and I had reservations for 7/26/19-7/28/19, but on the way down we had a family emergency and had to go back home and I had to cancel our reservations, but I am being charged $165 and some change for the cancelation fee. I could not help that we had a family emergency and was not able to make it. Yall are charging me for something that I could not help. My husband and family is long time Hilton Honors members and anytime we go off we stay at a Hampton, but that might change if nothing can be done about this charge. Sent 7/29/2019: 7/27/2019 between 3-4pm I spoke with Kia at central booking at 1-877-214-6725 for a booking the same evening at Richfield Utah Hampton Inn. I gave her my honors number 519711457 and she informed me the honors rate would be $114.66. I asked her if they have a lower rate for First Responders (Police). I was told by Donna, at this Hotel that my debt card would not be used at all to pay for any rooms and, that the rooms would be charged separately once the people show up, well on Sunday morning I go to check out, and the hostess that was there checked my niece an I out , I was then told the amount of my bill.

Of course you could imagine the look on my face, when I was given my bill. I ask Donna 3 different times about my debt card being charged, and she assured me that I would not be charged at all.

Stayed 2 nights @ Hampton Inn downtown Richmond VA July 27 & 28 2019. It was late in the day after 4:00. Greeted quickly and given our key cards for 14th floor. Opened door to our room, A/C not on, tried setting thermostat up from 74 deg temp on A/C, fan on but no cool air.

Called front desk, told that due to heat temps this week in Richmond, not unusual for room to be hot. Couldn’t get A/C to come on. Left our luggage in room, went to front desk. April at front desk explained how A/C works, temperature gauge on wall should show a “snowflake” for A/C.

Back up to the room, worked with thermostat and no cool air coming through.

Also the commode wouldn’t stop running, lifted tank, ballcock broken. Called front desk for a room change, told to bring our luggage w us & we would be given keys…

Booked a room on June 20, 2019---Arriving September 4, 2019---Departing September 7, 2019. I called the Hotel June 20, 2019 @ 4pm and spoke to the Desk Clerk. Told him I needed to Cancel my Reservation.. He said NO Problem. He did state that there will be a REASONABLE cancelation fee since I booked the hotel with a Third Party (CheapOair) told him that I understand the charge of a reasonable cancellation fee. The date I called for the cancellation was June 20th that is 76 days notice.

The Hotel Debited my Checking Account in the amount of $369.09 that figure was the charge for my total stay. The local person in NC said "that's the way it goes)!

I was expecting a charge but not the figure stated above.

00. Quite a bit higher than the $85. I saw online but couldn't get to, so $119 it would have to be. 24 which I believed included some rewards point. 71 I called HI Matamoros and was told that it would be fixed within 5 minutes and the lower amount did include reward points.

71 has been charged to my account. We like Hampton Inn and are a bit surprised at this treatment. Is Hampton not truthful anymore?? I spoke with "Victoria" on both occasions and she assured me that the bill would be corrected to include my reward points.

I arrived on 7/11/19 at 3:30 pm to check in and our two rooms were not ready. We waited an hour and they still were not. So we asked about using the pool while we waited. We had our 4 and 6 year old grandchildren with us.

We were informed that the pool was not working. We then decided to cancel our rooms. com I had to call them to get permission not to be charged a cancelation fee. They spoke to the manager and he approved it.

We then we told it would be 3-5 business days for the refund to be put back in my account.. We had a advance payment with that account taken out on 4/29/19. I did not receive my refund. I called the hotel on 7/18/19 and was told that it was in a process and was put to the managers voicemail, I left a message did not receive a return call.

I am not sure of the exact date - June 10 or 11, I made a reservation for July 11 at the southwest Hampton Inn on Jefferson Street in Fort Wayne IN. My confirmation number was 83384006; the price (AARP, AAA, Veteran - husband) $104 + tax. m.

July 12 and we live in Findlay OH about 90 miles away. We had stayed at this hotel last year in July when we traveled with the same company. Imagine our dismay when we arrived and they did not have our reservation.

I am becoming uncomfortable with the Hampton Inn - we did not have a good experience the 4th of July weekend in Akron OH. I feel you should be aware of the inconvenience and frustration we experienced. Thank you for your attention. Em Romer

The Hampton Inn, Daytona Beach Shores is a time bomb waiting to explode when someone gets killed due to the lack of parking. This property, per the front desk employee, has 110 rooms and 110 parking places. At least 1/4 of the total parking is across the street.

The street is South Atlantic Blvd. (Highway A1A) where the routine traffic is heavy; VERY HEAVY during vacation season. NOTHING for safety.

Also, people with handicap parking permits and/or Diamond status with Hilton park across the street due to parking shortages. PLEASE DO SOMETHING ABOUT PARKING BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE! Thank you... Bob Monk

We had a terrible stay at the Hampton Lincoln IL location, and I've tried contacting the General Manager Damon Priddy 3 times via phone (left voice mail with no return calls), as well as sent the following email on 7/10 with no response:

Mr. Priddy,

After 3 voicemail messages I am contacting you via this email regarding an issue my family experienced while staying at the Hampton Inn – Lincoln location during the nights of 5/31 & 6/1 (2 rooms for 2 nights). Upon making reservations, my wife was not informed of the fact your 3rd floor allowed for smoking rooms. Unfortunately, we have a couple of kids in our family who have negative reactions to second hand smoke. We certainly would have made alternative arrangements if we knew we’d be subjected to cigarette smoke.…

I am and have been a Hilton Honor's member for many years. I was recently in Milford, CT for work on June 4, 2019 which during this time I stayed at the Hampton Inn in Milford. After checking out on June 5, 2019, I later found out after leaving the left my prescription reading glasses on the night stand.

I immediately contact the hotel to informed them that I had left my glasses and if there was anyway that they could sent to me. I was informed that my glasses could be sent to be via FedEx and that this was something that they do frequently.
