Went for a party at Holiday Inn Sutton on Sat 21st Dec.The bar had run out of brandy come on a party and you run out of a spirit it's not on in a big hotel.The manager couldn't be bothered even though the barman was.Its not acceptable with this attitude get it sorted.I wont be going back even though I worked at Holiday Inn Express many years ago but we had a better attitude.

This is for Holiday Inn Club Vacations in Branson. This looks like an old failed apartment complex that they changed the sign to make it a vacation property. I paid full price with no discounts but when I checked in they gave me the hard timeshare pitch before they would give me my parking tag.

The first pitch I said "I'm not interested", the second pitch I said "No", the third hard pitch I started yelling at them. The guy said it was his job and that I have to do this. Having to yell at staff within the first 5 minutes is a horrible experience and I never yell.

We went to our building and there is no elevator so lugging my family's luggage up three flights of steps felt like I was moving into an apartment. The bathroom looked like it was a public bathroom that had urine stains on the…

My receipt for checkout on 12/12/19 had someone else name on it. I am a corporate traveler. The front desk person, Dawn, said she could not change it so I asked for a manager. Dawn would not call the manager until I called Holiday Inns customer service line to obtain resolution.

The manager I spoke with there said she would have Scott, the manager at the location call me because he was not on site. Scott never called me. Instead he sent an inappropriate letter without factual based content, to the email of one of my co-workers requesting that the email be forwarded to my supervisor.

We live in North Carolina, and we came to Georgia to visit. We have been IHG members for quite some time now, a family member booked and paid for our room and listed us as a primary guest. She provided me with the confirmation number.

Now I didn't get to the hotel until after midnight to check in. I was told unless I paid for the room I couldn't stay. The option was I could go wake this lady up at by now 130 am to get her to come to the hotel to check us in.

If this is the way you treat your loyal frequent guests, the maybe holiday inn is not the hotel chain I should be using . So thanks Michelle at the Augusta branch and Ian on customer service for such a bad experience.

Now my wife and I must drive back to NC at 2am in the morning. IHG MEMBERSHIP MEANS NOTHING....

The check in time is advertised at the front desk as 3pm. At 3:15 we we told the room was not ready. At 3:45 we waited again in line to try to get the room. We were told house keepers were running late.

Other people got their rooms and we were given 40 dollar voucher for TGIF, that will only get an appetizer. STILL NO ROOM AT 4 PM.

Good morning,

I hate to write you about this, but it really can't be ignored. I never complain and we really love your hotel chain. My boyfriend is a reward member and holiday inns are our preferred place to stay on any of our travels. Last night we stopped at one of your locations on our way to NYC. I never have hesitated on picking you guys to stay, but after last night I really need to reevaluate my decision.

There were several things wrong.

The fan in the bathroom isn't working and when you take a shower it turns into a Misty slippery sauna. I almost biffed it, even putting a towel on the ground. Every surface was moist after the shower. Not good, it's a breading ground for all kinds of unhealthy products let alone a huge liability and fall risk.

Hello,I made reservations for your hotel 5711 W Irlo Bronson Memorial Hwy, Kissimmee, FL 34746 on November 23rd. I have stayed here at your hotel several times in the past. 1. I checked in around 1130pm. At that time the reception stated that I had 2 reservations and that she would "reject" on for me so I would not get charged.

I trusted that she did so. I was charged! 2. I went to my room and needed to charge my phone and noticed the lamp did not have a charge port like I had remembered it having before. I called "0" from the room phone and asked if there was a charger available as I needed one because I had to travel in the morning and phone was dead.

I'm a quadriplegic and need a wheelchair accessible room. I specifically chose the Holiday Inn because I was assured when I telephoned to confirm my reservation that I was booking an accessible room with 2 twin beds and a wheelchair accessible bathroom. We arrived at 10:30 PM, after driving 8.5 hours from Kansas City, Missouri. Much to my disappointment, the room was not wheelchair accessible. I have a very narrow wheelchair which allowed me to get into the bed. However, the bathroom door completely blocked my entrance to the toilet. Nor could I get close enough to use the bathroom sink. I was too exhausted from the long drive to contact the front desk that evening.

The next morning I was assured before I left to attend a family funeral that I would be given a wheelchair accessible room…

I have called the front desk three times for an extra blanket. There should have been one in my room #327 but there was not. The third call to the desk I told the woman that I would like to go to sleep after waiting three hours for the blanket.

Her response to me was well then I guess you don’t need it. I am still waiting! On a positive note our room is very clean and all I really needed was the extra blanket. Front desk lady complained about being the only person here.

BED BUGS. On 11/27/2019 my husband and I registered at Holiday Inn & Suites in Daytona. The room was infested with bed bugs. The following day I saw several areas on my body with bites. I asked the front desk for a first aid kit and to file a complaint.

They didn’t have a first aid kit. Nothing was done about the complaint. At check-out I requested a discount on our bill. They refunded the parking fee. When I got home I went to the doctor and was given a prescription for Permethrin Cream.

I had to wash all of our clothes and everything on our bed

My Daughter was in an Emergency situations last night. Dec 3rd. I had to call 911 and have them locate my daughter due to her being lost in New Jersey. The law enforcement dept located my daughter and brought her to Holiday Inn Suites location 707Us 46east parsippany NJ.

The lady behind the desk was rude. I tried to pay for the room over the phone due to my daughter not having enough money. Now its 3am and they still wanted to charge her 260 dollars even with the police taking her there.

The lady at the desk refused to take my payment over the phone. They did however let her sleep in the lobby and then made her leave at 6am. I travel alot for my job and will never stay at another ONE of your hotels again.

I will contacting the better business bureau this morning. It is a very sad thing…

I reserved a room on November 12-17. 00, that may not be the exact price but close to it. E ZION churches. There was a set rate for these rooms. The time when I called I was told that there was only one room available and it had 2 beds.

I accepted and given the price. I never received a confirmation number which was suppose to have been sent to my email address. When calling back to discuss the incorrect charge, they could not locate me because they did not have an email address.

I gave them an email address which was not the correct one after talking with my husband. I gave his email, forgetting it is no longer in affect, that's the email they put down and sent confirmation to that day.

I checked into the Holiday Inn Express in Worcester on 110 Summer street for the weekend of November 15-18th 2019. I was there to visit my husband who had a major stroke while visiting friends Labor day weekend. 00 was taken out of my account and held until my check out on the 18th.

I do remember signing papers stating that the deposit would be returned within 3-5 business days after checkout, which I agreed to.

However here we are on 12/03/19 and my deposit is still in pending status because Holiday Inn has yet to release the hold. I have heard excuse after excuse about how they released it and it is up to my bank to release it back to me.

com and needed to change the reservation. I was directed to call the hotel directly so I did. When I did they said it was no problem to move the reservation one day and thought all was well. I contacted the hotel twice to make sure the reservation was confirmed for the days I was going to be there since I was never sent a confirmation email.

When I arrived they said that wasn't possible had no record of me changing the reservation. I ended up just booking another night but was also charged for the night I wasn't there. com, but was able to find where I had called to cancel the first night and add a night to the end.

I was not given the name of the person who actually changed the reservation to speak to that person. I would have paid a fee to change the reservation, but was told twice…

On 11/16/19 my husband (George) and I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express Hotel in Tucson, AZ. We paid the bill of $93.64 (which we agreed to) on 11/16/19. When I received my November 2019 credit card statement on 11/29/19, I saw the charge for $93.64 and $495.00. George called the hotel that day and spoke to Jose. Jose claimed George (or someone?) had been smoking in a no-smoking hotel and the charges were for smoking violation. George asked for proof. Evidently the housekeeper found several cigarette wrappers in the trash. Yes, George did smoke outside in the parking lot and put the empty wrappers in his pocket and then in the room’s trash can. He didn’t want to litter the parking lot. Jose agreed to reverse the charges. George asked for an email confirmation.

, due to a black out, (no power) on Nov. 28, Thanksgiving Day. , to get my 84 year old parents out of their cold house. After they refused to leave I called back and cancel and was told that since I booked on that day I had to pay 1 night stay.

My card was charged☹️ I feel that some consideration should have been granted in that if it were not for a Black out in the city I would not have attempted a hotel stay. I spoke with a young man at the front desk 2x and called back and addressed the Manager, once on duty after 3pm, all on November 28.

Staff not available, restaurant not open at 6pm - still not open at 6.45 and then when opened - staff Niomi was rude - Rolling eyes and looked cross that we wanted to eat so early. Left to eat at bar and my 18 month old daughter ate her macaroni cheese and we were not able To eat with her. We had to get a take away and pay for a taxi to collect it!

Hi! I just want to encourage that all of the new Holiday Inns and Holliday Inn Expresses being built or updated to have installed at least 2 grab bars in the shower/tub enclosures. One grab bar is sometimes not in the correct place to hang onto for taking a shower...

sometimes they are just out of reach. They might be somewhat out of reach in the shower, but handy to hold on to for getting out, especially if it’s a tub. Another suggestion:somewhere in each hotel room, display the hotel’s address. Thank you, Sue stanley

I would like to give a ZERO! Angie Perry is the General Manager We were given trouble from the get go about our service animal. Total BS. We asked for a late check out, like 2 pm. We had a college basketball game to attend but not until 6 that night.

The girl on duty said she’d have to ask the GM, well we knew the answer would be no. She said we’d have to call in the morning-strange considering we are Platinum Members. So I get up at 9:50 to call and ask for a late checkout.

Angie says yes but just until noon. We told about our problem of the college game and mentioned being a Platinum Member literally didn’t care. So I tried to go back to sleep, about 10:50. At 11:05 housekeeping knocks and by the time I can get to the door -she is walking in our room. No apology and leaves.

I'm a taxi driver and every now and again I would pop in to this hotel to use the toilet facilities if I have been caught up in delayed flights while picking up customers at the airport. I always make a point of acknowledging or asking the reception desk if they are not busy with customers.

A few weeks ago the receptionist was busy with a customer I looked in her direction in order to say /ask to use the bathroom without disturbing her in her duties. which I wasn't so was told the toilet is just for paying customers and asked to leave very abruptly.

This morning Friday 22nd November I was again hit with a delay and entered your hotel where the same receptionist was on I made a point of asking her if I could use the bathroom to be told that again I could not and to get my car moved from…

I was in the hotel and stayed 3 nights. My mother and I both brought a pillows with us (long drive) one king and 1 queen. we both forgot and left our pillows in the room when we checked out.

I called about an hour after we left and told the front desk attendant. She said she had them and that we would need to send a prepaid box. We did and they sent 1 correct (queen pillow) but sent an incorrect disgusting uncovered pillow (another queen).

I walked in with a pillow and didn’t walk out with it. It CAN NOT walk away. It must be there. It was a KING pillow in a queen room. I have contacted the manager with very poor customer service.

I would like compensation for the loss. I want a response and don’t want to be ignored and dismissed.

We recently stayed at your Binghamton, NY property on 11/15/19, arriving early evening to attend the hockey game and then some late night dinner. On the morning of 11/16, at 9:20 AM the maid service woke us when they started to bang on ours and other doors to see if rooms were empty.

We had a Do Not Disturb sign on the exterior handle, and wanted to get as much rest as possible prior to leaving since we were planning a long drive across the state. I didn't understand the logic of this actions, since check out wasn't until 11 AM, and it was clear we didn't want to be disturbed. JGS

I have never experience such terrible service. Price Flanaghan or so he said was his name. and then trying to apologize "because he is on meds" I will never stay at this property because of how poorly we were treated by this man.

He went to his car numerous times, I am guessing to drink, I would assume which caused his erratic behavior. I do not expect to pay for our stay for being treated so terrible.

I will never spend another dime at a company associated with IHG. I booked a room online for one night at a Holiday in Mt Pleasant, SC for a youth baseball tournament. Inclement weather canceled the tournament. I called to cancel the room, as the rest of the 60+ parents, but apparently I was the only one who chose the book early and save.

They refused to refund my $139 because I did not see the non refundable clause tucked away. I guess my 60+ parents will find better options next year.

I made a Reservation # 48399815 for a one night stay at the Holiday Inn Express located at 113-10 Horace Harding Expy, Flushing, NY 11368. I provided a debit card to hold my reservation, for which I had expected. I was told that my card would be charged at the time of arrival.

Upon my arrival, I chose to pay for my room in cash. 00 incidental fee. Okay, this was not a problem for me and so I provided my debit card ending 5592. After paying for my room in cash, my debit card was also charged for the room.

Well the front desk makes this motel always friendly and greeting each guest with a smile and very fast check ins the evening crew is always making me and my crew feel welcoming and at home away from home. As a reward member for over 5years I have determined that your rewards program is a sham. I have nothing but trouble when trying to use my annual free night or points. Your hotels never want to honor this program that you talk customers into and I want to know what your going to do to fix this.

Also your hotels never want to give upgrades that I’m entitled to. All they ever want to give are handicap rooms that they can’t get rid of and nobody wants. I stay at Marriott and Hilton’s and never have this trouble.

Reservation 29536113 Having previously organised a Workplace Christmas Party Group I was successful in winning a complimentary stay at the Holiday Inn Hotel Brent Cross in the raffle. I made a reservation and telephoned on Saturday evening before leaving home to ask if bath robes would be provided in our rooms.

Barbara, South Lyon mi Nov 5, 2019 Here’s what happened. Friday night. Nice room. No complaints. Saturday morning. Went to get breakfast and there was no coffee cream. Then that evening the room wouldn’t cool off. I like to sleep in a cold room.

Sunday morning go for breakfast. Still no coffee cream. The pancake machine wasn’t working. The ice machine on the 4th floor was out of order and had to go to the 2nd floor. Still the room wouldn’t cool off. Decided to no go for breakfast and was going to make coffee in my room.

I opened the Keurig and there was an old McDonald’s k cup in there. This is supposed to be new and yet they had all kinds of problems. I won’t stay there again.

My stay at the holiday inn in Long Beach CA on Atlantic avenue has been horrible. The toilet has been clogged twice. The staff has harassed me and my sisters during our stay for our grandmothers 60th birthday. Marijuana is legal in CA.

I nor anyone in my party broke any rules or law. We did not consume marijuana inside the Inn nor the property.

However the staff took it in to their own hands to come and knock on my room to threaten me to cancel my reservations due to the smell. I wonder if they do the same to those who smoke cigarettes, seeing as both are legal.

I feel targeted as a customer and “guest”. I do not see the issue when there are no rules or laws being broken. This is harassment!

Holiday Inn Express is one of our two favorite hotel brands. We have stayed many times at Holiday Inn Express Suites Halifax Airport. We have always been very pleased until the last time. On November 6, we arrived and I mentioned that I requested an accessible room (when I made the reservation several weeks earlier).

We were informed they were all occupied by people who had booked them “before today”. I told him that I made that request when I booked, as well as notifying that we would be traveling with a pet. He called the Hilton Garden Inn next door and got us an accessible room, which we appreciated.

We were pleased with the room there and it was $30 cheaper. So from now on, when we have to overnight in Halifax for flights, which occurs regularly, we will stay at the Hilton. I won’t…

Stayed at 585 8th Ave NYC and it was a very unpleasant experience. One elevator was broken and the other was not working well. The staff was unfriendly and not helpful. Our weekend trip to the city was ruined by our stay and we are very unhappy.

Have stayed here a few times before, no problem. Stayed there last night, was really surprised to see a low calibre of customer!! Within five minutes of arriving we had witnessed a couple the man with a damaged face and a drunk or drugged girlfriend arguing, a couple of drug looking individuals and a strange man crying telling us his wife had left him for a black man.

My question would be are these people staying there from the council!!!! If this is the case full paying customers should be notified. I was not comfortable in the hotel. There was even people going to the bar then going to sit with lone women sat in the area then heading for rooms!!

Looked like lots of activity going on. Our room was not up to standard, the couch was disgusting, stains all over it. I’m really concerned…

My husband and I checked into the Holiday Inn @ Carliy virginia. They have no air conditioning- but gave us a box fan. We are stuck here for the night. How can a hotel charging 200. A night not have air conditioning.

Holiday Inn has lost my future business.
