First I would like to compliant your store, Gatlin Blvd, Port St Lucie Florida. We shop at that store every weekend and the employees not only know our names but couldn't be any more helpful to us. My problem is with our window installation.

We bought 7 windows for our house and to say they have a lifetime warranty should mean it takes a lifetime to get them repaired. We needed our front window and bedroom window repaired so in January someone came to the house and ordered the parts the windows needed.

So it's now August, the bedroom window was fixed in June but the front window is not only still not fixed but is now cracked from when they were here the last time. They did come out with a window but it was the wrong window.

My complaint with Home Depot is is hard to find an associate to help you find an item and when you do there's a good chance there are giving you bad information the lines are long the cashiers slow and I've never been to Home Depot for a major purchase and did not have to go back to the store more than once due to incorrect information wrong merchandise or product itself was defective.

Lately I have been experiencing once I would get home and open up the product Parts would be missing or damage. I've been shopping with Home Depot for many many years and never seen it this bad I do wish to continue to shop with Home Depot but at these conditions I will take my business elsewhere

I rented a 5'X8' trailer Aug 4th at 8:50 for one night at the Lenora City Tennessee store. When we hooked it to the car we found that the lights did not work. We told them at the desk and they had me sign that I was aware they didn't work but I had to have a trailer so I took it anyway.

I was planning to move thru the night but without the lights we had to postpone it till the next day. By doing that we had to have the trailer an extra day. I use the Home Depot every week with no complaints but in this case I think a refund is in order.

Home depot did not measure the carpet accurately in one of two rooms. The delay in replacing this room has been about three weeks. although the carpet piece was ordered and delivered within a week of the original order, home depot could not, or did not want to have the installation company expedite the installation.

While I am not certain if the carpet was cut wrong by the original installer or if it was mis measured, it seems to me home depot should have attempted to minimize the inconvenience to me. I have discussed this circumstance with the store I purchased it thru a well as a corporate division, neither of which were very helpful.

on 11/4/2016 I ordered a counter top from the independence Missouri store located om noland road. at the time of the order I requested that I receive. said counter top before thanksgiving day. sales person said no problem, on I think 11/23 I contacted the store inquiring as to delivery date.

On October 10, 2016 we began the process of ordering a storm door from our local Home Depot, Store #6215 in Waterford, CT. We paid the extra fee to have it professionally measured to thwart errors in ordering the proper sized door.

The company hired to do this measuring arrived two (2) weeks later on October 24, 2016 to measure. 93 purchase. We were told it was not a fit for our doorway and were left with a door in our front hall and our old storm door was taken away.

Tried to purchase a drill that had a price sticker of $99 went to checkout and it rung up for $179. Was told that I had to pay $179. After arguing with a home depot employee I asked for a manager.

I ordered a washing machine on line and paid for delivery, installation, and for disposal of old washer. During the chat on line I told the person of the problem. I was not asked at any point if the washer had any amount of water in it. I however drained the washer down to a small amount of water because I didn't want a sour smell in my home. The delivery men refused to turn water lines completely off, as they were supposed to attach the new lines from the kit I purchased with the washer. My brother did it for them.

14. 00 credit. I took out the card and went on my way. When I got home I found out that the garage door remote that I had purchased did not operate my garage door. 98 for the remote. I went back to Home Depot the next day and returned the remote.

77 credit to my account. 21 to get your credit card. I think this is ridiculous. I realize that I needed a minimum purchase to get the credit card and I did have it even if I had not taken the remote.

I normally shop at Home Depot but now I'm thinking more about shopping at Lowes which is right across the street. The remote was not damaged in any way and it was back in it's original package. I think this is a bad policy on your part.

On July 27, 2016 we contracted with Home Depot in Lorain Ohio for two patio doors (plus screens) to be installed. Total cost - $2638.82, Order ID: H6930-2808. It wasn’t until August 21st that they were (to be) installed by Sayre Contractors (216-662-7638). Only one got installed because it started to rain ... and they left (about 12:30) ... because Jesse (the owner) said it was going to rain the rest of the day. It stopped within ½ hour. We had to wait an additional 10 + days for the second install. At that time we learned that the first install had a defective screen and had to be reordered.

During hurricane Mathew we had water coming through the relatively newly installed triple pane windows in the master bedroom and the family room. We called the Home Depot Customer Service for help, on Monday, and the young lady who took our information was very cordial and helpful.

I went to your store in South Hill, VA today with my husband and a good friend. I am not one to complain about stores or service. I am 61 and this is my first letter of complaint. I don't care to go to Home Depot again in South Hill.

It is too bad because the store has nice things. My husband and I selected a storm door with a doggie door and also a wooden screen door. We needed assistance about delivery and installation prices. It seems your store doesn't have enough employees.

I bought a 22'' lawn mower the first week August 2016 (refurbished). The first week of September the self propel stopped working. I took it to the Cross Keys store to have it fixed only to have it held and "worked on" and told that the manufactures warrantee would not apply. well after picking it up and paying for supposed work, I used it once and it would not work any more.

I also took my 30'' in to have the self-propel fixed on it. I was asked about the tune up which I said do it as well and put new blades on it. I know the tune up is changing the oil, filter, and spark plug it was kept for a week and when I picked it up and used it the self-propel did not work. I took it back and was told that it was the belt and the wire. I paid and got it and it still does not work.

I had the opportunity to visit two of your stores in our area today. The first one was at Knightdale NC. I made my purchase and told the cashier that I was a veteran and she politely gave me a discount and thanked me for my service.

A few hours later I returned for an additional product but this time to the Home Depot at Garner NC. Again I told the cashier that I was a veteran and she refused to discount the items I purchased. I showed her my license that has on it my Veterans status.

The employee had an attitude problem and said she couldn't give me the discount. Last time I will visit that store.

On the 25th of sept my wife and I ordered a Samsung refrigerator from the store in Danbury ct. On sept 28 to be delivered on October 5th.My wife noticed the item was on sale so she called to get the sale price which was 321.60 less. I bought a 24.6 cu, ft. French Door Samsung refrigerator on 19 September, from the Home Depot, 11075 Tara Blvd, Lovejoy, GA, and it was delivered on 22 September 2016. My paperwork stated the refrigerator that I currently had in my home would be removed and hauled away. After they installed my new refrigerator the delivery people stated, "we did not come in a truck with a lift, so we will send a message to our company and have someone come and pick it up". Although, you delivered a large size refrigerator they could not remove a refrigerator that was a little smaller because the old one was too heavy. Purchases a double wall oven on receipt #H1245-15194 at your New Rochelle store. The oven was delivered on Friday Sept. 9th. Your installers were scheduled for Monday 16th. My husband and I took the day off. Two brothers showed up around 5:45. They had no cutting tools with them. They said that the oven was too big and they couldn't do the job. We drove to Home Depot to try resolve the issue. We spoke with the appliance manager and asked if we could return the oven and reselect something else. We offered to pay a restocking fee. I've been doing customer service for the last 38 yrs for a major retailer for furniture and rugs. I found the young lady to be combative. I was rather surprised at her attitude.

Almost three weeks ago I purchased a cooktop in store. Was not able to fit, per Home Depot contractor. This was never communicated with store, and so I had to make numerous calls and emails after which the cooktop was collected from my home.

I spoke with store representatives as well as sent emails regarding a suitable fit. Again no response and so I had to visit store and each time no one is able to assist. I was told that I would receive a call from manager or credit.

To date neither of the above. I will therefore seek legal advice, as they have taken my money and have forfeited their side of the contract.

I hate to give one star because our sales person was so nice as was the delivery driver. Beyond that the experience is frustrating and I would say there is no such thing as customer service at home depot. We bought a washer/dryer last Tuesday 8/16...why is that in caps? Because if you pay Home Depot they should take care of an issue not the customer spending 2 days and phone calls to Home Depot store, Home Depot number attached to delivery form, LG, Deliver service, Customer Service complaint/resolution (Not) and still I wait.

Saturday 8/20 on delivery the dryer was damaged (the box looked great but the front of the dryer was smashed..now how does that happen) so it was never taken off the truck. It is now Tuesday 8/23 at almost 4:30 pm and I still have no idea when the replacement dryer…

We are having a new kitchen install with new appliances as well, We have spent $20k on this project and we get no support from your staff. I have spoken to your customer care department and they can't even get the store manager to call them back about my concerns.

i ordered two interior doors. The first ones were damaged. I looked at 4 other other sets all damaged. I was going to have the last set installed on 8/8/2016 The doors were damaged again! I have been dealing with this over a month. i called and canceled my order.

Home Depot installed a new kitchen counter, faucet and new plumbing. There is a water pouring from the faucet and this has caused water damage to the new countertop. The water must be turned off after each time the tap is used.

With the water turned off it still leaks. There is a bad smell coming from under the sink. I have reported this many many many times but still no one from Home Depot has come to fix this problem. Over five weeks now.

I call and they tell me that they have processed the paper work and I should get a call but I never do. I am very disappointed in the service of of Home Depot .

Ordered a set of appliances on 7/11/2016 with a delivery date of 7/16/2016. Appliances arrived damaged, the damaged appliances were sent back and I was given the soonest available next delivery date 5 days later. Unfortunately for me, once again one of the appliances the second refrigerator I was sent was also damaged. The Home Depot told me that next available delivery date was July 28th, 2016. 12 days after my original appliances were supposed to be delivered.

I reached out to customer service on countless occasions and their only response was they do not schedule the deliveries and the appliances don't come from their warehouse, so they could not speed up the delivery process.

The customer service team did nothing to satisfy me as a customer.

9 cubic refrigerator was purchased (cash) last year September 2015 at Home Depot off Valley View and Lincoln Ave in Cypress CA, and picked up two weeks later at Home Depot La Mirada Blvd, La Mirada, CA. by a sister of mine, She gave to my daughter as a gift.

Took two items without receipts to Home Depot for a refund or store credit. Home Depot would only refund one item and not the other without the receipt. I asked for the manager. He came and I asked him to authorize the refund or store credit. The value was $3.30 on a Home Depot product but he would not without the receipt. And he gave no explanation why the discrepancy as to why they would refund one item without the receipt and not the other.

A few month ago I and my wife went to home depot between 159th Street and 151th Street on root 7th, to buy an internal door. After a few weeks I got the costume door that I ordered. Several months ago we bought a new lawn mower at Home Depot in Valdosta, Georgia. It quit working and we took it back. Was told had a 30 day return policy but they could send it off for a fee which we paid.

Was told it would be a couple of weeks. Last week we got a call from the store saying they just shipped it and it would be 6-8 weeks. This is not acceptable as cannot mow the grass and have company coming for the 4th.

I recently purchased almost $900.00 of rails and posts to construct a post and rail fence in our yard, I placed the order online and when I went to pick it up there was a lot of confusion and what should have taken about 10-15 min. ended up taking an hour. The employee waiting to put the material on my trailer could not seem to get a "spotter" to help him move the packages through the store. We bought a lawn mower few months ago. It quit working so we took it back and was told return policy was for only 30 days but they could send it off for repair after we pay a fee, which we did.

Was told would take a couple of weeks. Got a phone call today saying they just sent it off and would take 4-6 weeks. What do we do in the meantime? Cannot afford a new mower.

We ordered carpet for our basement and two of the cuts were short aprox 3 feet. We called back and it was going to take them about 3 weeks to get us our correct order of carpet. no refund or discount offered on it for being screwed up.

They were going to pick up one piece to take back. In the mean time our basement leaked and it got one corner wet. We had to pay $150 to keep that piece of carpet that we particulary do not want.

If the order had been done correctly to begin with we wouldn't be 4 weeks behind in remodel I could of shampooed the spot that got wet and we wouldn't be out $150 on a screw up that Home Depot did to begin with. I called the store back and all she could tell me was that my husband was ok with it and her apologies that they shipped it out free of charge.

6 months ago I visited home depot 1066 Central Parkway San Antonio, 78232. I was looking a light bulbs, a salesman recommended the Led bulbs as he told me they would last as long a 20 years and point it out on the promotion. I bought 3 of the top of the line.He told me they would save me over a $100.00 during their lifetime. I asked him if they failed could I bring them back for a replacement and he said yes.

Today one failed and I took it back to the same store. The young lady told me they would not replace it and If I had a complaint I had to take it up with the manufactory. (I did not buy it from the manufactory, but from Home Depot) I have spent over $3,000 dollars this year with Home Depot, I'm sure Lows will look forward to my business. We spent $5,000 dollars on windows and patio doors in January, The contractor was rude and not professional. Here it is June and we have yet to have a lock on screen. Home depot has not come out to inspect the windows and door.

We were told by the contractor that he normally don't put the locks on because it will warp the screen. we were told that we will be sent a gift card for delayed time. , This was by a manager.

This was poor service and I have never in my time seen such service.

On this paticular situation I would rate Home Depot a 1, Normally a 5..

However I feel I must explain a situation I experienced recently. I went in the store around the 10th of June. I ordered 380 of block for the foundation of my mobile home. I personally went in the store to order these products.

An associate that helped was the name of Kevein that I later found out he was an associate Assistant manager. Kevin's customer service was a 5. I was told that my materials would be delivered on the following Monday in which they were. 00 per hour.

Waited for a plumbing associate for over an hour. Saw associates chatting and joking with each other, approached them for assistance, 'not from plumbing' and walked away. Service desk paged numerous times. Still no one showed. Great way to do business.
