I still haven’t received my 2020 tax return. The First Lady didn’t push our paperwork through and quit. A month later we check and find that out then the next worker put ahold on my taxes to see if I owed any money.

Witch I didn’t find that out until a year later because they shut down for the session. I found that out this year when I went in asking where my taxes are. So we get everything set up again and pay again, now it’s been another 4 months and still haven’t heard anything back.

This stuff is messed up!!

2022 and paid the extra $10 for a hard copy cd offered at the time of purchase. The cd was never mailed to me. I have contacted them at least 3 times by phone about the problem. Every time they say they will expedite the cd but it will be 4 to 5 weeks, after being on the phone at least 30 minutes each time.

The representative has very little knowledge of what is being offered on line for purchase and very little knowledge of how to navigate their website. It is very difficult to even make them understand what I am asking for. I have a case number for the problem .

It is almost 4 months now since my purchase and still no CD. How long does it take to put a CD in an envelope and put it in the mail since this is their error to begin with? Terrible customer service for a company that used to…

I won't mention a name here but H & R Block in Morristown, TN. has an employee that drops you as soon as filing is over. I filed for the past relief packages this year (2022) for the years 2020 and 2021.

I received the 2021 return but the IRS stepped in with questions about the 2020 return and when I went back to get help with the IRS from H & R Block, I was told that "she" had much more important filings to deal with. I still haven't heard back from her and my deadline with the IRS has passed.

I guess paying for filing is the most important, you're on your own if you get it or not. I still can't get through to the IRS to resolve this issue and I have no PAID H & R Block HELP with this problem.

I filed my taxes using H&R Block in Belmont, Ma. The tax prepare representative's name is Yvonne. She did not enter in correct information on my taxes and now the government is saying that I owe them $550. When I called the office I spoke to Doris the office manager who said there is nothing they can do for me and that it's a case of she said she said.

I want my $150 that I had to pay to them back. Yvonne entered the wrong information on the tax forms. I provided her with all of my tax returns and stimulus paperwork. It is not my fault that she entered the wrong information in.

Nothing but trouble from the start at the Waterville ME location. Used the drop off service on April 2nd, since I’m super busy. Weeks went by with no contact and every time I reached out I was told my preparer was on the phone.

Called the day before tax day and was told that they get to the drop off after ”the important clients who made appointments “ and that I should trust they will file an extension. After a month they called say they were done and it would cost $300, which no one ever went over prices like they are suppose to.

I called corporate to complain and the owner closed my case twice before calling me. He was condescending and rude. Told me I should just know the price, that his staff would never do any of that and that he would give me $100 for whatever I think they did…

for year 2020 and 2021@ the office H&R Block. 00 with my debit card and did not receive my tax retuns . H&R Block claims they never received the money. I supplied multiple documents showing my bank posted on Feb 16, 2022 with bank stratements, screen shots of money sent to H&R.

I reached out to H&R block for assistance with amending my tax return for the previous year. I called H&R Block to see if I could speak with Dennis Austin who filed my taxes for this year, and wanted him to assist me with my amended return.

I was informed by Latasha Saxon, he is a seasonal worker and she could help. I provided her details about my amended return and documents. Latasha Saxon advised she would be the person who would file/process my amended return. She sent me a link for me to upload my documents and if I provided them she would start that day.

I provided her all the documents that day and sent an message lettering her know via the website. I uploaded the documents on 5/25/22 . On 5/27/22 she re-asks me questions about my amended return as if we never spoke.

First, I requested an in-person appointment, but when I got to the office, nobody was available. I was able to have my taxes done by Tammy, but not in person. I have left multiple messages asking to speak with her since April, and have not received a call back.

My IRA contributions were not accounted for in my tax preparation. I would think this would have lessened the amount I owe the IRS. I need to speak to someone about this! I have been filing with H&R Block for 20 years.

The numbers to call for assistance do NOT work. The facility that did my 2021 taxes closed down. The ones nearby don’t pick up phone calls. The number to file a complaint is NOT a working number. My on line account dies NOT recognize me.

We received wrong information about our tax return. We were charged 414 dollars for the service and told our refund was 2572. It actually was 332 and when I expressed my unhappiness and disappointment my tax preparer was unsympathetic. I continued to express my feelings and requested a refund of the 414.

After several emails she replied and said it would be refunded but she gave no further details. That was March 30 and we still have not received our refund or any other communication. I would like to add that we have gone to Monica Golden in Sun city for a few years now so this is all the more upsetting because i thought we were more valued then that

HR Block has refused to pay my peace of mind claim for almost 3 years now. Costing me 5300 dollars. The typical generic answers to all correspondence, just get me off there backs for the time being in hopes that I go away.

After multiple attempts to receive the Taxes and would not give them with the reason that there records show they didn"t receive it. I gave multiple documents from my bank clearing it paid to H&R. 00. I received no return calls or written documents showing me no pay. The money went somewhere.

I was charged for a service when completing my return online that I was not able to access nor remove from the final check out. 99 for online support which the que was not state prior to accepting the charge.

When the added the cost the que showed up that there was a wait of over 100+ people before you. This is not what I would consider online support. I called HR block and was told to email. I emailed three times in April to never receive a response back.

I have been an HR Block customer for several years, going in the office. Now with a simple return I thought I would use their online tool. While I was able to complete my return, signing up for additional help my first time was a big mistake.

I cannot believe they failed to respond to any email or call regarding this.

I had three tax years done, 2019, 2020 and 2021. It took about 2 hours total time for almost $1200. Why so much ? I don't think I will return for 2022 taxes.

2years ago H and R Block did my taxes but they made a mistake and had my sons name messed up. so had to beg H and R Block to even write a letter to the IRS explaining the mistake.

I then had to even pay for sending it certified. Please help me get this fixed if possible. Have a son that is autistic and I can't work. 2,800. Can't the company reimburse me because y'all stand 100%behind your work.

The tax professional that did my taxes said to call him after the tax deadline and he would get state taxes that are owed to me. I have emailed him and left messages and no response called customer service they told me of another location my next move is the better business bureau.

My refund was $700.00 I was never shown a pay scale or had the price discussed with me I later found out new person with no experience waited on me he took 292.00 from me your scale I was told say 69.00 for federal and 39 for state he took half of my money I want it back asap

We have had our taxes done by H&R Block the last 3 years. This year we used a tax pro from a different company, and it was called to our attention that the last 2 years H&R Block filed on a Trust account that did not earn $600 in interest.

The IRS states that it is not required to file on a Trust that earns less than $600 in interest. We were charged $500 in 2020, and $560 in 2021, and the only filing necessary was on a Savings account that earned about $30 in interest each year.

We met with the tax pro from H&R and she said she filed due to Trust Compliance. After we left her office, we had more questions over the next few days. We made multiple calls, and when the tax pro finally called back she was annoyed at our questions, rude, and actually hung up on my husband!

We have filed our taxes with H&R Block in 2019,2020,&2021. It has come to our attention that we may have been charged inappropriately in 2020 and 2021 for a Trust account that did not require tax filing. We met with the tax advisor that did the tax filing those 2 years, and she maintained she had to do a file on this Trust account, and yet everything online and from other tax pros we have spoken with, indicates otherwise.

We called her a few days after our meeting to discuss this further with her, and she was very rude, and hung up on my husband. I emailed her that I was going to file a complaint, and she replied to do what I wanted to do, but there was no further action required on her part.

H&R Block prepared my return. I received a letter from IRS saying I owe more money and small amount of interest and penalty fee. The office that prepared my return is closed, but the other office which takes their calls is not helping.

My husband and I have had our yearly taxes completed by H&R Blick. This company has completely failed us for two years. Tax year 2021 the representative that did our taxes was rude. disrespectful and the most arrogant man we have ever dealt with.

00 stimulus payment that I did not receive before I received my expected federal refund. He did not state that the amended filing for the stimulus payment would impact receiving my federal tax refund. I have checked the IRS website several times and there is no update since the amended tax filing received on 3-26-2022.

This lady has not been helpful from the start. I live in bay city and this lady forgot to fax over my paper work not once BUT TWICE NOW!!! I have bout had it. They have lost my check for 3 months now and I can't even get it on this stupid emerald card now.

I paid for a tax pro to confirm I filed correctly. The tax pro didn’t correct my mistakes and now my return is on hold. Extremely long hold times that end when an employee picks up, doesn’t say anything and just hangs up on customers.

I have been trying to cancel my services for two weeks. It takes 30-45 mins for the first agent to pick up just to tell me it’s another department. The correct department had me on hold for 45 mins the first attempt, an hour and a half the second, and two and half hours on a third attempt.

Every time I can hear an agent pick up but not speak then disconnect.

Have been using for last 10+ yrs but getting extremely dissatisfied with 2021 version. It has a software glitch. Particularly tax loss on options. Federal will be fine, but NY-efiling was prevented due to loss (negative number). Option cost base is 'always' considered zero according to 1099-b reporting brokerage (per IRS rule). So, if option is closed early at loss, then the loss is shown as negative and cost base is always zero for all options. Accuracy check on Federal and State passes without any issue. However, when you reach to efile State is when it will stop and complain about the negative number in the transaction and will prevent to eFile. Previous year software was fine, no issue there. It is just 2021 software at glitch.

I turned my small business taxes in to the H&R Block office in Spokane WA on Montgomery St the 3rd week of Feb,2022. The “Tax Pro” who took in my small business files (2 employees) sat on it until March 10, 5 days before deadline and then decided she didn’t know how to do an S Corp so

passed it onto another Tax Pro who after finally reaching out to him for the 3rd time on April 12 told me he had never received my business file from previous tax pro. Now I am forced to file an additional extension on my personal taxes as I do not have my business tax form K-1 that is required for small business owners.

Will not be using them again! Very disappointed

Horrible experiences. Use tax software online and submit for tax pro review on April 3rd and paid in full. Followed up a few times but didn't hear back.

Finally got a customer service 4/11 and got disconnected two times. One while talking to rep and had to start all over again and another while talking to manager Linda. Issue still not resolved!

On Jan 19,2022, Heather Quill in did my taxes for $170.. I filed single claiming my son as a dependent. I was suppose to get $3,000. Then I a letter from IRS, a CP12 that showed I was getting $1700.

The letter said a bunch of mistakes were made and I had to respond by June 3rd. When I called Heather for an appt. they gave me one for the next day. When I showed up for the appt, I was told that it was a hone appt.

So reluctantly Heather took me back to her desk, clearly annoyed with me. She glanced at the CP12 and shoved it back at me saying I don't know. She had a waiting paying customer. All I wanted was her to look at it and see if she could tell me how to proceed.

I have spent a total of 5 HOURS on the phone with H&R and only 1 hour actually talking to 3 agents. I called for help because the downloaded software stopped saving my tax returns. Error screen stated "Unable to save file (file name) The write operation failed".

I have been escalated to level 2 or 3. And because there are so many other people with unresolved software problems I was told someone would contact me in 3-5 business days by email. They are not allowed to phone customers back.

These wait times are excessive. Because of a shortage of employees?

I came to an H&R office on University Blvd in Jacksonville FL on January 4th 2022 about a notice I received from NCDOR about the tax year 2017 when I moved to FL. I met with Donna Klein. She assured me this would easy and that I could sign a Power of Attorney and another Agent Bonny Charleston would talk to them and get this worked out for me.

I did not hear back for weeks, I reached back out and was told I needed to resign the Power of Attorney. I did. Weeks later nothing I reached back out to Bonny Charleston she replied that POA still processing.

I had to submit an amended return for federal and state. I went to my local office. HE HAD ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA WHAT HE WAS DOING. He said I owed money and told me to mail the checks. Online told a different story.

I was actually OWED money. EVERYTIME YOU CALL SUPPORT, YOU GET A NEW PERSON WHO HAS ZERO INFO. Most of these reps were incredibly rude. Each call opens a new case. They refuse to look up the previous case and add on to it.

I and my partner turned our taxes into the Silverdale office and requested Jim Callahan to do our taxes. Somehow my old tax preparer Maryanne Zahl took my file and did my taxes without my consent. I got the runaround from both offices as to why this was allowed to happen.

I told the Bremerton h n r office that I did not want her. We had trouble with her last year. Now I'm being charged more. bshould be 69. Simple form. They want 129. nId like to file a lawsuit for Maryanne even looking at my file let alone doing my taxes without consent.

I will NEVER recommend H&R block, I have been a loyal customer for 5+ years Always filed my taxes myself. This year I went into the office because I was unsure of the child tax credit payments as my children's father claimed them last year so to be on the safe side of not messing up I trusted Carolyn at Gallatin Office. She was absolutely TERRIBLE.

She didn't go based off of my driver's license, she just put whatever her heart felt. I told her what she did wrong and she did absolutely nothing about it. Wouldn't help me figure out what to do next. I had to go through a big process to verify my identity.

Had taxes fill out by Shelby office. Forms not filled out correctly I think irs reduce my refund amount.. need to file complaint .

Went to H & R office at 24102 El Toro Rd Suite H, Laguna Woods, CA 92637 to receive information about having my taxes done and the cost. I answered the questions asked at the front desk and explained what I did.

He informed me the cost would be $140 & $60 = $200. I made an appointment and had my taxes done. The tax preparer then informs me the cost id $385. That is just not right. Very disappointing.
