I used your company to file my 2020 Federal Taxes. I agreed to pay a fee of $39.00 for you to review my taxes as well as an additional $39.00 for a “Federal Transfer Fee”. Due to a delay in the processing of my 2019 Federal Return, I was unable to electronically file my 2020 return and was prompted by YOUR website to print and file a paper return.

When I printed this return, my Direct Deposit information had been automatically filled in to reflect the routing number and bank account for MetaBank, your company’s bank, per the agreement I made to have my fees deducted from my federal refund.

Unfortunately I used HR Blockheads tax service in 2020. I'm a nurse and have been working 14 hour shifts 7 days a week almost every week to keep patient's alive since March 2020 when the COVID 19 thing started.

I left my taxes with the H and R block in Orleans Ma... Over a month ago. Not only haven’t my taxes been done my calls have been ignored. I have done my taxes with this company for over 10 years and have never been treated this way.

I filed a fraud case due to my funds illegally withdrawn from my account. I made police report and the state of Texas filed felony theft charges on the two women who were seen in the wellsfargo images taken at the time of the crime.

The state of Texas filed charges and found them guilty. Emerald card services sends me a letter saying "After our investigation your fraud case is denied". They never contacted the detective or bank. How was the case denied when a investigation was never done?

I call to argue my case and i cant understand what they are trying to say? I sent them copies of police report and images of text messages from the ones who did the theft but still get denied on my $8400 fraud claim.

I went through your entire H&R Block "file online for free" process, only to find out at the very end that you don't supply a form 8889 for my employers HSA contributions. I would need to upgrade to deluxe for that, which costs $50, plus I'd then have to pay to file my state taxes (another $20).

But all of my HSA contributions were pre-tax, so filing the form 8889 doesn't benefit me! You are trying to make me pay $70 dollars for a form that doesn't help me at all! This is such a ripoff! The only people who can use your free option are those with no employee benefits!

You're penalizing people who have HSA accounts.

I am a victim of fraud with the H&R block emerald card for all the charges and they will not refund me my money. They are not very knowledgeable about fraud and tracing who did it. I have filed many complaints.

I had this company do my 2020 taxes I dropped off my 2019 tax folder to the receptionist. When I went to pick up my 2020 taxes, i asked for my 2019 tax folder and the receptionist told me she already gave it to me.

I am currently on hold after a woman, named Cynthia, gave me extremely poor service. I have been on hold to speak to her manager for quite a while, and she put me on the spanish speaking hold line, so I have no idea what they are even saying.

She was patronizing me before putting me on hold, on the phone she would not let me finish my sentences. Made an appointment with the same tax person at H&R that did my taxes last year. I showed up only to be told my appointment had been mysteriously canceled (no one can explain how even though I got a confirmation text just a couple of hours before the appointment) and

I was told another person in the office could do my taxes (the most junior person in the office - no thank you). I made another appointment with the same person for a few weeks later and showed up to be told they weren't available but another person in the office could help me (same junior person again - no thank you).

No clear explanation about why this keeps happening or guarantee that it won't happen again. Basically a "whatever" attitude.

I had attempted to complete a digital drop off with H&R block this year as I had done the previous year. Since my tax pro last year helped me get a good refund, when I went complete the digital drop off, I did not have all of my documents because I was waiting on one document from unemployment (That's another story) so

I had started the drop off process and then had to stop. I reached back out to my tax pro about 2 weeks after I had started the initial process, because that's when I received the final document I needed to process the return.

Last year we had our taxes done by H & R Block in the Deptford, NJ office. During that visit, we scheduled our taxes to be done for 2020 today, 3/27/21 at 4PM. On 3/26/21 at about 5:20PM, I received a phone call from a male employee from the Deptford, NJ office stating that the person who was scheduled to do our taxes was not available today due to illness.

The same person stated that he wanted to re-schedule for us at a later date. I told him that was unacceptable since we had scheduled the appointment 1 year in advance and we were receiving less than 24 hours notice to cancel and reschedule.

I also stated (hopefully the phone call was recorded) that I hope the employee who was ill gets better. I requested that he check to see if anyone else was available at 4PM today to do our taxes. He…

I tried to chat beginning around 7 pm I waited #30 in line got to 3 and was disconnected after waiting more than once. I tried calling got hung up on after waiting on hold numerous times and when I did finally get transferred it was to the wrong department and then was finally transferred to software @ 1026 pm I received a recording that they were closed.

It is now 1040 pm and I have spent my whole evening trying to get something resolved with no accord. To say I am dissatisfied with your product and services is an understatement.

I used H & R Block in Lafayette, Indiana at 210 S Creasy STE 210, lafayette, Indiana phone number 765-447-7100 to file a 2019 tax return in order to get my economic stimulus checks. The tax preparer Dennis Stansbury entered my address incorrectly and when I noticed I requested for him to make the correction.

Dennis would not make the correction and stand behind H & R Block's Accuracy guarentee. Now we are getting a third stimulus check and The IRS has stated they will be mailing my check on march 26, 2021 and they are sending my stimulus to the wrong address, the wrong address H & R Block refused to correct.

Horrible!!!! I have been on hold on and off for 5 hours today. Their software has a glitch with our state filing and I was trying to get assistance in what to do next. They transferred me from representative to representative and then when they were transferring me to the expert they disconnected me.

5 hours and then was told I was in hold for the wrong department. The RUDE representative then transferred me and I was told by an automotive voice that the wait time was 2 hours. This is a joke. Their software is defective and not only did I pay for it I wasted an entire afternoon.

I will never use them again.

Poor Customer Service, I was argued with, hung up on, and given the run-a-round. The chat service is a joke and I repeatedly waited on hold multiple times trying to get to a live human being. I am a low-income Veteran who has never had trouble using the free service in the past and was able to efile.

This year, the options were confusing. I was not given the ability to talk to anyone who could help me understand my options. So ultimately I had to go with a different service. It may not seem like much to you but I cannot afford for H&R to take half of my return.

Customer service stinks and there web site does not update. Paid all kinds of fees when I had my taxes prepared and they cannot answer your questions when you call in if you can even reach someone. Their web site does not show any updates.

Poor customer service once they get your money. Twenty years going to them but this the last one for me.

We have used h and r block for over 20 years. We will not be returning next year to have them file our taxes. We went there this year and was told to drop off the papers and it should be completed by the end of the day and it was not.

We were told to make another appointment, and when we went there it still was not completed. The person needed more information. We were told to drop off our income tax from last year and make another appointment. This is our third appointment a d it should have need completed the first time!

They charge a fortune to complete taxes and this is the service we received! I will not longer use h and h block in the future!

While completing 2015 taxes the state program would not open. I attempted to reinstall it but to no avail. I then attempted to download the state program only to find that it did not download because of an error. I attempted two more times and yet it was not downloaded. 85 each time. 55 to my account. Issues: Emerald Advance, my 2020 taxes with Block & my Stimulus checks. I am concerned about a few issues. When I filed my 2020 Taxes I had to get a new Emerald Card because Block changed banks. I was told that my refund could be split.

That the balance I owed for my Emerald Advance would go on my Emerald Card and the rest would go in my checking account. The tax preparer put my checking account info on my return. Apparently, Something went wrong on your end.

I thought I had a rocky process (have to go in 3 times because I found multiple mistakes), but I am really disappointed when there are follow-up issues with the return but I was never able to get a hold of H&R Block anymore. Left multiple voice mail and also contacted the corporate office - but no one responded even in acknowledging the receipt of my email.

I had an issue using their online product. It went into a loop soon after I started to use and I had to stop using it. I have tried to call them (about 12 times but have not been connected except for one time when that person transferred me to another number where I was disconnected).

The online FAQs and support does not provide a cancellation option. You cannot chat with anyone. I am still out of the funds I spent on H&R Block’s online products even though they were not used. I did go to their local office and had my taxes filed by them.

I've contact several offices, only to be told by many that they do not provide these services (though these offices are listed when one looks up by zipcode) or several offices reported their staff providing these services are on extended vacation. I'm tried calling in a 50 mile radius around the NY Capital region area.

I was quoted a price of $69 when I went to get my taxes it was $220-- they were going to interview me about my deductions(never happened), They did my taxes and told me I owed quite a bit of NYS because they did not know that you do NOT pay State tax on NYS or City pensions!

Pretty basic since I gave them a 1099R.. I am a pensioner living primarily on government pension. I had to pay a competent preparer to do my taxes in 2 day costing much more than the $69 or $220 because YOU waited to have me pickup my "completed" taxes on the 13th.

Filed taxes March 12th and waited for three months with no updates. Contact IRS and they say there's no return on file for me. Contact H&R office and they tell me it was rejected because of a typo but I was never informed of it nor was it ever sent to the IRS.

When I arrived I had all the necessary documents to process my taxes as well as a detailed letter about my specific situation. Ordered Premium & Business to handle K-1 1041- Trust income in addition to farm income because it was advertised as capable for these income types, in addition to other more usual income.

However, after entering K-1 1041 BOX 14 income codes data, a pop-up page advised me the software was not capable of handling BOX 14 codes F and I, many thousands of dollars, in relation to the QBI deduction. I did my taxes on your on-line program. I didn't file my State Tax's yet. Wanted to wait on them. So, I was looking at my bank statement and there was a withdraw from my bank account of $340 dollars from Comp of Dir Db Rad, which I had no idea what that was.
