On our state tax we were qualified as a dependent (Addie) our daughter. The grocery tax was filed as an additional $100. It was denied. We brought it to the attention of your Moscow agent and subsequently it was refiled as an amended returned and denied.

I expect the same result from the IRS. In addition all of the paperwork is being sent to my work address not my home. I don't see how your service could be worse. I expect a full refund of your fee as I couldn't have done any worse by myself. Steve

My daughter kendra chestnut has filed with u for the last 10 years I did also when I filed for taxes. In 2014 and 2015 my daughter and I lived together and I'm disablied and she claimed me as a dependent those two years.

We have not lived together for over 6 years now. Her and I always had John in portland oregon on halsey st do are taxes but he retired well this year she had someone different do them and when she filed my daughter's taxes she did not ask my daughter if I was still a dependent and

she put it on her tax return and I was put down as a dependent will I live by myself now on ssdi very little money and by the tax last doing this I did not get my stimulus check my daughter got the insurance for something wrong with the tax return she has called and nothing done about it.

I filed my taxes on Feb 24th and still have not received my taxes. We have not received any kind of letter from the IRS about holding our taxes or paying anything back. As a customer I feel its my right to depend on y'all to help me get my taxes.

This is the third & last time we will ever engage H & R Block to file our taxes. We left a folder with a copy of our 2018 taxes & all personal information with Mirilyn West in the Pawtucket ofc to assist her with filing our 2019 taxes.

When asked for return of this personal information, she could not access it, only mgr had key & he was not available. Made several calls re: this, told we would receive return call from Mirilyn. She did not call us.

When realized office closed, we called Cranston Ofc, 401 461-5639, spoke with Cheryl Stuart. Told unable to locate this personal info in 6 branches. Asked to please have manager cl us, never called. Without this information, we cannot access the location of our stimulus money.

My stimulus check was deposited into my Emerald Card account. Upon trying to use my Emerald Card, I found out that the card had been canceled. I have tried to reach Emerald Card customer service 19 times since Wednesday 4/15/2020, only to be told by an automated voice that call volume is too high, they cannot take my call, and then proceed to hang up on me.

This is getting to be ridiculous. If I need a new card, they should at the VERY least be connecting me with a live person to talk to; it is terrible customer service to hang up on your callers.

This is the worst office staff ever not friendly and don't care i been calling since the stimulus package because I can't access web portal for irs they prepared my taxes which I regret and it was deposited on my emerald card which I regret now I still havnt received package and all they keep saying is everyone received there's just to get me off the phone but if people have gotten refund on card why their phone recording dont say so and she say I cant come to the office wow really

00 dollars for their service on a 500 dollar return. 95 which is a lot more reasonable considering it took 15 minutes to do my return. They automatically took 167 dollars from my 500 dollar return and the receipt says they credited me 128 dollars-which they didn’t.

Now I can’t find out if I’m getting a stimulus payment and no one at HR Block answers the phone and it just hangs up on me. Help!

I Filed my income tax in late January apparently the lady that prepared my taxes over charged me for fees, so I submitted a complaint later received a call from there manager that I was going to receive compensation for for the over charge supposedly they sent me a check on March 18th 2020 I never received the check, so I made another complaint and they said that have to trace the check and will reissue another check I still have not received anything and every time I call I am on hold for hours and

I only gave them a 1 star because I could give anything lower. Been trying for over a week to get a new emerald card. Associates at the office is incompetent. Associates over the phone do not know what they are doing.

I keep calling and explain there is something wrong with the number to get a card deactivated and after 3 hours was put thru same number and was hung up on. So not cool. Won't be using them in the future

H&R Block screwed me on getting my Stimulus Check by not sending my bank account info to IRS, they create a 'virtual account number' & process your refund, this means I now have to wait until Sept. to get a paper check.

If they had told me this up front I would not have used them, now it is to late. Do not do business with these liars.

They won't answer the phone. According to the IRS the money was deposited and I haven't seen it. When I did get to talk to them they said that it hadn't come yet. I think someone should get attorney and sue them for theft.

I file my taxee every year with you guys i have an emerald i got this year it diesnt have my name on it but my return came on it and i used it everyday til three days ago . I recieved a text askkng if i attemted a purchase omline replied no and got errot message.

I gave a number to csll and a case number ive called over 20 times and everytime it hangs up becaise due to heavy call volumes your not answering calls. I finally got a person in tulsa to answer and she hung up on me refused to give me her name.

I will not be bavl next year nor will all the people i seny there tp do taxrs about 7 people

I have had numerous issues with the secretary, Will, at the Winona MN H&R Block. Not only is this individual rude, but he's NOT pleasant to customers, is argumentative, and refuses to offer any assistance if he doesn't know the answer to a question. On several phone calls with Will, I have asked to speak with Susan Meyer, who completed my 2019 taxes and was extremely pleasant and helpful to work with, Will has refused to allow me to speak with Susan. Will has told me on 3 different occasions that he would give Susan a message to contact me at her earliest convenience, and then when I called on a different day and someone else answered who connected me with Susan, I was told that Will did NOT give her a message to call me.

After talking to a representative from H&R Block about receiving my Cov-19 stimulus money that I was assuming I'd get the same way I received my taxes which is through the emerald card come to find out the routing # given to the IRS isn't the same as the card and I can't get my stimulus money through the emerald card.

The IRS kicks it back and then they mail them in which it can take up to 3 months. This is BS! I've had you all do my taxes for years and because of you all I won't receive any money for weeks or even months.

You all will lose thousands of people if u don't get this fixed with the IRS

I went into one of your offices in Baton Rouge and was helped by the most prejudice worker that I have ever experienced in my life the bad part about it is the lady is African-American just like me. I have never been so mad in all my life.

Filed my taxes back in Feb expecting a emerled card I never got. The ft payne Al office told me to call them and they said they would send another. Never got that one, after waiting on line for almost and hour, was told HnR never had one sent.

They said they would send another one, that was 2 weeks ago, still here it is April no way to get my tax refund I paid your tax office for, and now stimulus checks are coming out. Plz give me what I paid for. I need my money.

I should not be chasing for something I paid HnR block to take care of.

Our experience in Lake Mills… Tim greeted us and then proceeded to take off his watch, conspicuously take note of the time and prop it up on his desk in a purposefully viewable position. Early in the meeting he went on to tell us about his “six figure income” son in Florida.

He had an air of smugness about him at this point. Near the completion of the meeting he mentioned that he has always been really good at calculating and targeting his own deductions and withholdings so that was what how he was able to get the position at H&R. Again with the smugness.

At the closing of the meeting he mentioned that today was his long day so he would be there until much later that evening. I don’t care! When we were ready to pay the service fee and leave, my wife and I were talking about her part time…

We purchased and installed H & R Block "Homeowners/Investors Deluxe & State" software. absolutely nothing happened that would allow me to chat with anyone. 99 and that did not work either. I called 888-482-9288 and Nixon confirmed that I did purchase the option to chat with a tax pro, but couldn't determine why it was not working for me.

He escalated my problem to the next level and assigned me case number 1730244 and said I should receive a response within 24 to 48 hrs. It has been 96 hrs. I called the aforementioned number again and waited for 30 minutes to connect with a representative.

I went thru a agent named Dina Garcia Parent. It took her several days to complete it. She kept making mistakes. She kept filing it and then I get a text message that it got declined. I left abd she saud it would be finished.

I left her with all ny information which she wrote down on a piece of paper. I did end up getting my taxes after a week of her not being able to finish. A. Couple weeks later she used my information on my card to get a uber or lyft ride.

I got a text from my card company telling me of the declined amount. She said she didn't realize but nine us written down on paper and it is. a Visa card. She has mastercard. I don't feel she is qualified to continue doing peoples taxes .

I was informed that my taxes were ready to pick up. The sign on the door said open till 4:00 pm. I arrived at 3:50 pm and it is closed, this is on a weekday. I normally get off of work at 4:00 pm working at a government office.

I have to make arrangements to leave early and this being the case I may not get there to pick up my taxes until June or July. I may see about getting my tax forms and have them done somewhere else.

The H&R Block in North Platte, Nebraska can just keep them. A sad state of affairs and a shabbily run business.

On April 2nd I called to check the status of my refund that was supposedly filed 3 WEEKS prior. The lady that I met with was not in the office so I spoke to another gentleman who offered to help me.

There I was told that she never sent my taxes in. I emailed her and expressed how dissatisfied I was and how unacceptable this is. I also told her I'd like my fee waived. That was 2 weeks ago and still haven't gotten a response.

They told my mother she couldnt claim me, but went ahead and claimed me in her system anyway. So when I went to file I had to as a dependent. Now, shes trying to charge me for her fixing her own mistake.

Was told to pick up prepared taxes on 3-18. When I went in, agent told me she hadn't worked on them. I spent 1 1/2 hours with her answering questions while she filled out forms.. She said she would finish and review them and call me when they were ready to pick up. No call.

Called last week, 3-26, and was told agent would call me back. Never did. Tried to call her today ( 3- 30). The automated voice asked the zip code of the office I wanted to connect to. I gave the zip code that is on the agent's business card.

Voice came back saying there was no office at that zip. Then was told to wait for the next available agent. Wait time was 50 min. I've been on hold via speaker phone now for over 2 hours. This is in Woodland WA.

I was told that I would receive 849 in federal tax and 293 in state tax but I was never given to me h&r block stood with it . Ive done my taxes plenty of times before and I always get the amount I was told I was going to be getting but this time I didn't get my state.

I was depending on that money for utility bills because I have 3 kids one being disabled. I also worked my butt off for that money I was getting taxes taken off for I worked with shingle pain on my back for h&r block to keep my money.

I went to H&R block Thursday the 27th of 2020 in March on South Salem st in Dover Nj. Prior to arriving I had set an appointment over the phone 1 week before. Upond arriving my Boyfriend and I had got greeted by an employee who was reluctant to help us , asking out names and what time the appointment was.

Stopped at Brighton location, people entering sick, elderly conducting interviews with maybe 3-4’ between them. No hand sanitizers, workers w\o proper protective gear (masks, gloves), A LOT OF COUGHING, including what looked like managers who entered in front of me.

Was so disgusted I left. No thanks.

We purchased the H&R Block guarantee and were later contacted by New Uork state that there was an error in our 2016 tax filing. We contacted H&R Block immediately. They reviewed our return and acknowledged their error. We paid the additional $2500 now owed to the state with the understanding that H&R Block would reimburse us.

They are now refusing to reimburse us stating we didn't contact them as soon as we received communication from the state. We have filed an appeal through the local office and are not receiving any response. We are unable to find any recourse through any of their means of contact. Terrible company.

I took my taxes to Gas City Indiana H&R Block, my taxes were initially handled. by Tami Stickney. The first issue we encountered was that she asked us for the bank routing number which was correct but never asked us for the account number, which had changed since the first time she prepared my taxes as I am now married & my wife & I established a joint bank account at the same bank.

When we called & told her about her error she gave me numbers to call in order to attempt to correct her mistake. Instead my wife called & spoke with our bank who said they would watch for our refund & try to have it rerouted into our new account but could not guarantee it.

After having my taxes prepared at E&k/ H&R block location on Ecorse RD in Taylor, MI on March 10th, I was approached rudely by the receptionist about my daughter's having a cup and a packet of sugar. The receptionist came out after I put the sugar back to yell about the sugar not being a toy when we were already putting it up.

She was really rude as far as tone of voice and eye rolling. Unfortunately because of this my family and I will not be returning. This experience was very unprofessional and not a welcoming experience at all.

I paid $330 for less then an hours worth of incompetent work that took about twice as long as is should have due to computer or user error. This is after I was quoted for only about $250, $120 for owning a rental property, $59 for the standard income, filing and $69 to file for state as well.

My filing was very simple and not anymore complicated then it was expected to be. When asked about the misquote I was brushed off and told it was just an estimate and I had to pay $99 for the base because of the additional rental income, that I feel should be part of the $120 and

I signed up and was billed for the TaxPro advisor service. The H&R Block advisor was very helpful but unable to file my tax return on line. I called their help line and was transferred a number of time over a 2 hour period.

Days later I received an email from the H&R Block Escalations team with a new 800 number. Those who answered said they could not handle the escalation case number. I gave up. H&RBlock is a very confused operation. I worry that my return is badly prepared.

We made an appointment and dropped off the documents to prepare our tax return on Feb 5, 2020. The initial interview went fine but a few days later we got an email from our "senior tax analyst" that she needed more information about one of our 1099 forms from Ameritrade. I contacted our investment adviser who attempted to explain to your employee by email what she needed to do to correctly enter the information. Really?! WE have to tell YOU how to file our taxes correctly?

Neither our broker or we were getting answers to repeated emails to Alyse Welmont to help resolve her question.
