IHOP locations are experiencing severe service problems including excessive wait times, staff ignoring customers, and rude behavior from servers and managers. Food quality is consistently poor with cold, wrong, or improperly prepared orders. Cleanliness issues with dirty dishes, utensils, and facilities are widespread concerns.

On Saturday morning we had la great time a breakfast. Our waitress Nayauvi was amazing, adorable and full of personality. She was attentive and knowledgeable. She is a huge asset to the restaurant. We will definitely be back soon. Much kudos to her.
I kove how you guys just ignored my complaint about nasty ihop in benton harbor mi but i was currently an employee as i stated in my last complaint tomorrow i go to pick up my last check and every penny that i earned needs to be on there the day i was told to leave mario took all my money and wouldnt let me do my check out before i left, i didnt get any of my tips that day of working my ass off and

If I could negative stars I would. One NEW server with no knowledge of the menu, in the afternoon. A cook who is nasty to the server when they are the ones missing part of the order. Half the food sat in the window for 20 mins to be cold, other half not prepared.
butter, syrup, ketchup, creamer, sugar. We never got the sausage for one order, or the mozz sticks that were ordered... Then to talk to the manager for him to come out, apologize for the delay and then double check the order is getting made and then WALKS AWAY.
Our bill was completely incorrect. We asked the manager to comp which he refused and then compromised 50% of it. I gave him $25 and walked out. Worst customer experience EVER!!!
I understand that Ihop is always busy. But my biggest problem is that I work as a door dasher and other dashers have came in to pick up our customers order and I know that some times the customers order pick uptime might not be right on time or may be 15min top for the wait which is understandable.
But it is always on Saturday and Sunday where we have the most difficult time. Either the workers say that it is still being worked on and they will give an additional expecting time but we most of the time are waiting at least 30- 1hr before we pick up the order.

Was told wait would be 40 minutes. Waited 40 minutes. Checked to see how much longer, staff told me they had not sat ANYBODY in the past 40 minutes because they were short staffed. When I asked if they’d be sitting everyone at once or staggered she told me they’d start to stagger so it would be more of a wait.
We were never notified or given the open to decide if we’d like to wait or leave. We could have gone elsewhere!!!!! Now we have no time to stop somewhere and eat because we’re on a time limit with traveling.
The IHOP at the Shoppes of Highland Creek in Charlotte, NC changed for the better under new management. Since it has slipped back to into the old ways of employees standing around, dirty tables and just a lack of Customer service.
In looking at our Nextdoor app, it is apparent that many people share this thought. I hate to see a local restaurant fail, due to poor employees.

Could you please explain this to me. This morning we went to iHop for breakfast around 8 am with our four year old grandson. He ordered milk from the kid menu. Using the kid menu we asked if we could order the waffle and chicken but instead of chicken just have a full waffle.
Obviously chicken cost more than waffle mix so it isn’t like they would lose money. We were told NO and if he wanted a full waffle he would have to order it from the adult menu. How does that make sense??????
We will never go back to that iHop. We had a wonderful server and it was the manager who refused it.
My mom, sister, and myself visited West Springfield, Massachusetts from Sunday April 18th to, Wednesday April. We visited store # 2075. The first time was for breakfast. We stood inside the door for more than 20 minutes before we even saw a worker.
We were seated, and waited another 10 minutes for a menu. Then we had to literally go look for the waitress to get our check. We decided to give them another try at dinnertime. Again we waited to be seated.
We ordered the turkey dinner. The turkey was in a pile with no pieces being bigger than a quarter. The potatoes thrown on the p,ate, hanging over the edge. The waitress brought out pancakes a bit later and said they came with the meal. Or a salad. 99 extra.
She did take the charge off was extremely rude!
I went to I hop on 280 in Alabama and after waiting for an hour to get my food wich I never got I told my server Morgan I was getting upset and her reply was I can't go cook it myself so I asked to see the manager who was Beth and she got an attitude with me. I will not be back
Came to Irvine International House of Pancakes for the new bacon that is advertised on TV looks delicious all excited about ordering it try to order it waitresses we haven't gotten it yet we don't get it you have to call corporate why so disappointed
Ordered a sausage and cheese omelette. There was nothing inside the omelette. On top of the eggs was 2 sausage links and 3 slices of American cheese. When I sent it back I was informed that is how they make them now. Unbelievable.

I received the most absolute horrible service a person can get from who I presumed to be the manager at the I hop on financial plaza in Shreveport, La. , my pancakes were burnt to a crisp. Went in to return them.

Tried to go to the new IHOP on route 31in Clay Sunday 4/28/21 at 1 in the afternoon was told there was a 2 hour wait due to online orders seriously so customers that have come to the restaurant to spend money and the dining room is empty are now going elsewhere and your server staff is making no money because of high volume on line orders. Corporate should revisit this this issue oh wait the restaurant made money.
Dined at the IHOP in Covington, LA. 2 couples. Service was terrible, restaurant was filthy, empty tables next to us with food from guests that had left before we arrived that was never picked up. Food served without proper condiments or drinks.
Asked for syrup, salt and pepper and milk. Didn’t receive after 15 minutes my wife went to the kitchen and asked for some syrup and her milk the waitress responded that she was getting it. After another 10 minutes and watching her wait on another table that had just walked in I went and asked for it and her response was she was getting it.
Really poor service, really poor attitude and a really poorly managed restaurant.

We were seated and saw no wait staff for close to 15 minutes .Several wait staff walked by us and tottally ignored us .Several were standing in managers office dooror went to it bypassing us When brought to managers attention one of the waitstaff who ignored us tried to apologize . If I could give a 0 I would. IHOP use to be a good place with good service and clean. Now it is a dump, service and management is the trash filling that dumpster! I suppose if people keep going back there will never be a change. We wont be back.
Long wait times when there is clearly open tables. Drink order taken and the server decides go smoke instead of doing the job. Food order can ot be taken due to the manager and kitchen dealing with old tickets. When we arrived every table was empty and the lobby was full.

IHOP in San Angelo TX in College Hills Store # 1482 I arrived about 9:30 pm. Several wait staff not professional & also not wearing masks properly. My server did not cover her nose. The male person that seemed to be the manager was running around like he did not know how to be in control or not able to manage multiple priorities.

Went to the Allentown, Pa. Ihop yesterday. We ordered pancakes and chicken. We received our meal 30 minutes later. The resturant was mostly emply. We asked for butter and syrupe and that was another 20 minutes. The pancakes were cold.
When we approached the server and manager about the service, they started yelling at us. It was awefull and very unprofessional.

I have visited ihop in cookeville tn many times in the past and love food at IHOP but last few weeks I have tried to eat here and did not want to wait for 25-30min for food with a restaurant not even filled due to no staffing only one cook in evening I feel this is poor business
My husband and I went to our local IHOP this morning for breakfast. After displaying the attached photo of my bariatric card the manager refused to let me order off the children’s menu. This is a direct violation of the Americans with disability act and this policy needs to be corrected or updated at our local level.

On 13 Apr 21, I placed an online order at the following location: 170 East Central Texas Expy Harker Heights, TX 76548. Unfortunately, when I arrived my food order was not ready, including numerous other customers. After an hour and a half of waiting, I never received my order, and I was told the manager would refund my credit card. Additionally, I would receive a confirmation email of the refund, but I never did. I called the store several times, but an answering machine responds to every call. Arrived at restaurant, took a few minutes to get seated even though place didn’t seem too busy. Got drinks ordered 15 minutes later, ordered food at same time as drinks. Had to ask for silverware, drink refills. One hour later we were told they had no crepes and would we want something else.
Manager was barking out orders at grill window and finally went back to help. We left before food was even started... over an hour after orders

I took my son and a friend for lunch. They both wanted pancakes. After waiting 45 min we finally got the single pancake that should have been the funny face breakfast but we only wanted pancakes. When I asked why I am paying $6 for 1 single pancake and nothing else.
The manager told me I was rude and then said I'm teaching my kids this behavior. So instead of offering a solution for an overcharge I was told that I'm basically a bad mother.

Yesterday, 04/10/21, my wife and I had dinner with my 74 year mother at the IHOP at 4122 GA-20 in Buford, GA (store #4479). We finished our meal and my mother got up to go to the restroom before leaving. She made it about two steps from our table and twisted her ankle and fell to the floor. She laid on the floor for a few minutes in pain as I tried to see about her and eventually my wife and I were able to help her to her feet.

Went to Watertown NY ihop this morning and received absolutely terrible service. We called ahead for a reservation and was told they weren't busy and didn't need to today. When we got there we stood in line for 20 minutes waiting to be seated.

Double Charged on Credit Card

Service was really slow. Not due to our server. My silverware had old dried food on it. It was crowded which was a disappointment since we are still in a pandemic. Our omlet was missing an ingredient but we waited so long to get our order taken we didn't have it corrected.
We will think twice about going back.
I don't know where all this complaining comes from. I've been to several IHOP and always have good service. My Complaint is there's not one in Lampasas Texas. Growing town that has not a single good breakfast place.

Went to your Grove City,Ohio location at 10:30 am and my family waited 10 minutes to be acknowledged. We sat down waited for another 10 minutes. As we watched 7-10 wanting to eat at IHOP just walked out.
I visited ihop-lakeshore, al 4/7/2021 at 9:36am with a friend of mine and we wanted to sit down and eat. Me and my friend are African Americans. Once we entered we were told that the restaurant was only taking to go orders that no one was allowed to sit in the restaurant.
But their were people already sitting down. White people. Social distanced. Spaced out in the restaurant. At first I didn’t think of what was going on until my friend suggested we call ihop in hoover to see if it’s all IHOP’s or just this one.

Waitresses added a $5 unauthorized tip to my credit card. This happened yesterday in Lake worth, Texas. 05. 48 on my credit card.
Three weeks ago my grandson and I went to eat at the paducah Ky location, this is his favorite place for us to eat so we go frequently.
