My family has been buying products from Ikea for over 25 years I was shocked to hear that you stopped advertising on GB TV. your company has completely missed the point of this channel it what the majority of the British public wanted. we won't be buying any of your products from now on I think it's the biggest mistake Ikea has ever made.

I was ready to place a cabinet order before I was told that some were out of stock and I would have to pay additional $200 on the current $200 shipping!! When I phoned customer service they told me they could wave the second fee only if the items were shipped together.

Problem is they couldn't guarantee they would be in stock together. OUTRAGEOUS!!! Not that it makes difference to you, IKEA, but you have lost my order and my business forever. I will be sure to spread the word on your excellent customer service.

Way to make it DIFFICULT!!!

My wife and I went to Ikea Ashton-Under-Lyne on Monday the 7th of June to buy the last two chairs showing in stock in the north west of England. It was turned 20:00hrs when we got there and there were hundreds of people in the store NOT WEARING ANY FACE COVERINGS AS PER YOUR POLICY.

My wife said just lets leave the store and not bother with the chairs. We have both self isolated and done whatever our government has asked us to do since March 2020. I said we are here we are not going home without the chairs.

Today June 13, I went to ikea en Santo Domingo to buy a bed. I had a budget of 100,000 pesos. I liked one bed in particular . There were probably 20 customers milling around. There were two employees. I could never get their attention.

After 15 minutes I left. I don’t blame the employees. I blame the person who oversees these employees. In other parts of ikea , I saw employees doing nothing.

Order 385797996 place 2 weeks and I’ve been monitoring every day and it says that it’s being picked. Whether you believe me or not I’ve been on the phone since 10 AM Eastern standard time and it is now 6 PM as I write this message.

I have dealt with for customer service representative and the last one was transferred directly to the warehouse and the lady hand up the phone on me because I requested to speak with a supervisor. She said why would I transfer you to a supervisor your order is being picked and hang up the phone.

This is my first home delivery and it has been a nightmare. It will definitely not happen again and I will tell each and everybody that I know about my experience.

I made a purchase of a Kullen 6 draw dresser & paid additional to have it installed and set up @ the location in Ponce PR. On April 23, 2021. I was told the peice would be ordered and would be shipped to my home and the same day set up.

Here it is June and I have yet to receive this piece . Speaking to customer service is a joke. I ordered Utrusta shelves (2 pack) listed as 24x14 3/4 inches on the website. There is not a close Ikea store so we paid $10 to have it shipped. The tracking website did not show any movement so I called, waited on hold for over an hour and learned that it was being processed but you don't update the tracking website.

When the shelves arrived the dimensions were not as listed-smaller and will not fit in our closet system. When I called customer service I was told that the listed dimensions were for the closet unit itself and not actually the shelf dimensions.

I have a complaint about Ikea in Spain and the reachability of the company. We live in the Netherlands and are customers of Ikea since Ikea came to the Netherlands 43 years ago. We bought and assembled a lot of kitchens and furniture over these years.

But now we bought a kitchen at Ikea in Spain for our summerhouse and some other stuff. Almost everything goes wrong. It is impossible to communicate with them in English. They never return any calls. They make mistakes with the orders and delivery. 000,00.

They came to install the kitchen but there are parts missing or the wrong size. I tried to contact them but I never get somebody at the phone who can help.

Finally we went to a small store but had to wait for 3 hours. And still things are not solved. I am so frustrated that I think of…

Do not order a closet from Ikea or anything custom. I ordered a simple closet and had my pieces shipped.

First attempt had to can to find out my order wasn't put through. Got a new delivery date only to have something completely different delivered. Called customer service again to get a new delivery date. New delivery date came and went and still no closet.

Called again to finally cancel. All the times I called had to wait 30 to 1:15 to talk to someone. Now I'm waiting in line to do a return of some pieces and this is the slowest process I have ever been through.

You have to scan a QR code and wait to be helped by the only person doing returns. Thank GOD I never did my kitchen with them. Never ever shopping here again!

I recently bought three pieces of bedroom furniture and have tried to book someone from task rabbit to come and assemble the items. For two items the tasker cancelled at the eleventh hour twice now and I’ve been unable to actually book an appointment for the third item.

I find this extremely disappointing especially as IKEA support this company on their online website and are in fact letting IKEA customers down. I now have three pieces of furniture purchased from IKEA thinking that a company working along side them would assemble said furniture, instead I now have to find someone else to complete the task.

I am extremely disappointed with both IKEA and taskrabbit because neither company are fulfilling services they are promoting.

Online order for delivery. Deliver never made. Spent 2 hours on phone with customer service to schedule again. No delivery. Spent 3 hours on phone (mostly on hold waiting for the person I was transferred to pick up). 2 transfers later I was given a case # and refund in 7-14 days.

20 days later I was credited minus the $49 delivery fee plus tax. Called again, customer service representative was watching tv, using the microwave and munching into the phone. I was on the phone for 90 minutes to get this straightened out. maybe

I just received my order of the melltorp table today and there are several parts of the table top where the white paint is chipped off when i first opened it from the box. These chipped off parts are on the TABLE TOP which can be seen clearly whenever i look at the table.

I do not mind if there’s chipped off parts on the underside of the table, but this is on the table top which can be seen clearly. I have waited very long for the table to arrive and am very disappointed to see the chipped off parts on the table top.

Please send me a new table top part as I cannot stand looking at the chipped off parts whenever i look at the table.

Was charged for item on 4/4 with expected delivery 4/9. I tracked item and it never shipped. Called customer service on 4/9 and was told it would be shipped in 2 days. Called back on 4/12 and was hung up on by 2 different customer services represenatives called back 3rd time was told they are looking into it and again hung up on.

Called 4/13 and customer service representative could not tell me when item would be shipped. I bought a bed twin frame last December 2020. The original delivery date was dec 17. It didn’t came . When called customer service they said that it is out of stock, it was avail online when we ordered it.

Then the order was changed from with drawers to without drawers without my permission.

To whom it may concern: I have purchased many, many items online and I store! Never had an issue. On January 26 I made an online order for a kitchen island and selected “express delivery” as I needed the island by the Tuesday.

I received a confirmation saying it was paid for and would be delivered by truck on Tuesday, January 28 between 13:00-17:00. I tried to track my order online with my order number, but the system wasn’t working on your website.

We was sold in the store a furniture piece that after we paid for and went to pick up was told they didn't have in stock and not only that but was also discontinued. That was after waiting an hour in the furniture pickup department.

First, they got our address wrong even when we wrote it down for them so the following weekend it went to a completely different address. Then we went back to correct our address, they put in the right address but never gave us a copy either so we were set.

Now this weekend, it still went to the wrong address even when we fixed it. Very unorganized. We lost a lot of time and got frustrated. When we tried to call them back, they directed us to a resolution center so its not even clear if they corrected the address or not.

I was shopping at IKEA Richmond with my grandma and boyfriend, the experience was pretty much the same but as I was checking out there was a lady who’s name tag was covered so I could not identify her came up to us and told us we could not use the yellow cart outside, my grandma and I tried to ask her what cart we could use or ask if we could just take it outside but

she very rudely kept talking over us and just saying no. Afterwards we realized that after each customer the self check out station needed to be sanitized however, this lady who’s job was to sanitize the stations was off doing something else.

My grandma and I have shopped at IKEA since 2010 and never experienced such rude customer service. She didn’t offer to help me or my grandma knowing we were going to have a hard time…

I order bunch of products from Ikea I realized the the size of the bed ordered is nor reflecting correct. Same day in an hours time,I reached out to customer service requested them to correct it. CS informed me they cannot edit an order if it has already been made. I requested then to cancel the order. All this happened on 26th Mar . I would like to express my extreme frustration for a stressful process to try and get my bedroom furniture, that STILL ended in a major fail. It started with me trying to place an order online that wouldn’t work, so I called IKEA to place it with a person over the phone.

He was very nice and helped me place my order, unfortunately the man had typed my address in wrong which I did not realize until I got an email of a “failed delivery” , which mistakes happen, I get it. I waited over an hour to pick up an item because my order was "pushed to the side". I inquired 3 times while watching dozens of people get their orders ahead of me.

Finally on the 3rd inquiry the nice woman found my order. This is my 2nd poor experience at ikea in the same area. I will NEVER shop this store again as my time is precious and you are extremely disorganized.

I ordered a sofa from Ikea online on October 7, 2019. The earliest delivery available was October 14. I received an email from Ikea on October 8, stating my order had shipped from the Ikea Distribution Center and was scheduled for delivery.

On October 14 (the day scheduled for delivery) I received a call from the shipping company saying unfortunately my order was lost in the system and would have to be searched for and located within 24 hours. I will then receive a call from them to reschedule the delivery.

24 hours passed and I did not hear back. I called the shipping company to inquire about the status of my delivery but they did not have one. 4 hours later they called me to schedule delivery, but the earliest would be October 17.

Customer wait times for on line ordering is absolutely horrifying. wanted to have a bed frame delivered to our daughter. In reviewing the order i saw that the phone number was wrong and was stated as containing the number 5 instead of a correct number 6.

No problem I thought; just call them back and give them an updated phone number. After several attempts at trying to reach ikea customer service I finally got through to make the correction. 5 hours hanging on the phone to get this done.

So come time for delivery and no one shows up. I call them back took another 60 minutes to get through. They said that we had refused the order. Well that was incorrect, but rather than get all mad and everything I just tried to reschedule the delivery.

We purchased an Ikea kitchen at the White Marsh/ Baltimore MD store. We are happy except for one cabinet door that was damaged. We now received 4 replacement doors each more damaged than the first. It is a 2 hour drive to get to the nearest Ikea.

My complaint is not a complaint you usually get but it needs to be addressed. I am a sewer and got a job at Fluvitex( a company from Spain that does most of your sewing of comforters and pillows). I started work on July 16, 2019 in Columbus, Ohio.

Well, at first, it was not horrible, but after about an hour, I was ready to quit! Luckily, after about 7 hours, they decided to send our line home because the machine that sews the comforters broke down and we ran out of work. Thank God!

To start, the factory has no air conditioning. It must have been all of 90 degrees in there! We did have fans, but they just blew around hot air.

Second, the sewers all have to stand and sew all shift. Now, being a sewer, standing and sewing doesn't mix very well. It is very uncomfortable and not at all…

I ordered my furnature from them ans it was cleared 3 days. Ok nice I get my furnature key parts are missing. I travel back to the store which is over 30 miles away and get the "correct" parts. Get back home to realize these are the wrong parts as well.

Go back to the store waste more gas time assembling more pieces. For them to tell me they are out of that part until next week. Where did my original parts that should have come with the sofa at? I'm extremely displeased and should have canceled the order.

This is the second Ikea kitchen I have purchased in 3 years, not to mention 4 bathrooms, and over 10 wardrobes and closet organisers. Have always been a loyal customer. Last time, a large kitchen and everything went well. This time, a smaller kitchen, and I was overbilled for a 3rd countertop installation employee with Paragon Surfacing, who admitted he was only a trainee and stood there and did nothing. C. 00.

They are just overpadding my bill, as they need more money, and are having internal employee problems. If this is how a loyal customer is treated, I hate to see how a bad customer is treated. If this is not resolved by June 30, 2019, I will tell everyone who I know to boycott Ikea, go to the media, and tell them how they do not care about the public whatsoever.

Unfortunately everytime we are in the Tampa Florida store it is nearly impossible to get employees to help with anything. So many of them seem to hate their job. When trying to pick up items that have to be pulled from the ware house, no one says hello, may I help, or any of the common courtesies.

The last time we were there I asked to speak to a manager. I asked about orders being pulled in order in addition to unprofessional staff. She said she didn’t know anything about the warehouse. They worked on their own system and that they didn’t pull purchases in the order they were paid for.

She said sorry about the employees. It was obvious she didn’t have time to talk to me. I try never to come to the Tampa store. It’s just an unpleasant experience. Everytime. At least the Sunrise Florida…

81 at your Orlando store and paid the store to have them delivered. I brought in a handyman this morning to assemble these items and found out only after the cabinets had been partially assembled that they were not the same items we ordered, in that they had wooden doors, vice the glass fronted doors we thought we had ordered. 79, Lillangen Hi cabinets.

In trying to contact the store, I was shunted off to a central customer service number, which informed me they could not reply due to a high number of calls. Given what I experienced, no wonder. At this time I am in a quandry, the problem could be quickly resolved by having the correct aluminum framed glass doors shipped to me and I will install them and

at the same time pick up the unused wooden doors, otherwise I am out the money I paid…
