Good Day I hope you are well i want to put a complaint against one of your dealerships in Pretoria - KIA Wonderboom

I took my motor vehicle to them a few weeks back. My motor vehicle broke down and they forward me a quotation (Attached) with the report received from KIA wonderboom

Now my Complaint is as follows:

The quotation and report do not correspond to each other. The report indicated that the only problem with my motor vehicle is the thermostat housing and head gasket that was broken.

Attached are photos of how I received my motor vehicle back after I paid the stript and quot. I'm very disappointed how this was handled. I have communicated with the Workshop manager and the General Manager and not one of them responded with an answer as from October 2022

Bad customer service at Chantilly Kia Va. damaged a part on my car while in for service and refused to take accountability. Service manager was very rude. Bought the car there and had it serviced there for the last ten years but no more.

Purchased a brand new 2019 soul in 2019. At 85,000 noticed it was using oil. Took to closest service center 45 miles away service center required consumption test. At end of test was told to submit proof of oil changes.

Because I had done them myself and wrote them down and included oil and filter purchased receipts, I was denied claim and refused engine replacement , which is what Kia recommended.

Horrible staff in service dept. very unprofessional. Ignore you then talk amongst one another in front of you like you are not there. Walked away and i had to insist on speaking to manager finally after trying for a while.

If i could do review with 0 stars I would And suddenly after always paying $40 for an oil change it more than doubled. They dont tell you until its time to pay. Now supposedly only synthetic oil can he used after using regular oil since 2019 with same kia sorento

October 6th my Kia Soul 2015 had engine failure. Towed to Abbotsford Kia and they were very helpful. I live in Saskatchewan so they supplied me with a rental car. Very nice for me. A new engine was ordered and the car is ready to b picked up Nov 8th.

Kia Canada refuse to get my car to me in Saskatoon so I have to fly there and bring it home at my expense. I will b driving home on dangerous snowy roads because my winter tires r here. If something happens I will b contacting u again Was very happy with my contacts in Abbotsford at Kia.

Hope all goes well with my trip home late November because I am out of the country until then

2018 kia soul,78,000 miles new , l have run out of oil 3 times over two years. They have check twice and now for third time and found nothing wrong. Oil change a month ago, and last Friday no oil with dip stick.

My 1st payment made on time. KIA finance claimed hadn't recieved it. Your associates was rude and wrong. We called next day pymt was processed days before. I'm 72 never been late on anything ever. Very insulted by KIA will never buy recommend you to anyone.

I purchased a Kia K5 Sept. 13, 2022 and it has been at the dealership in the service department since Sept. 27, 2022 waiting on the part. I was not getting any feedback on the progress and was told it should be done October 25, 2022.

I went there today November 3, 2022 and they are still waiting on the part. I am on hold with Kia Consumer affairs and have been on hold for about 55 minutes. I am trying to be patient however, I am feeling very frustrated that I haven’t been able to talk to anyone on the phone yet about my situation with the service I have been receiving from Kia.

I am not feeling very valuable thus far with my Kia experience.

I purchased a 2023 Kia Sportage and it had a shimmy when I am going around 65-70 mph. i was told it was probably just the tires warming up where it was cold. I have taken it back to the dealership twice to try and get the problem fixed to be told that they have rotated and balanced the tires and have did all they can do.

I ask what am I supposed to do about the problem to be told that they don't know. I am very upset with the service I received and if I'm left paying for something that was messed up when I purchased the vehicle that has a warranty I will never purchase another vehicle from Kia ever.

Kia needs to replace my 2017 Kia Sorentos engine the engine is covered under warranty and will be covered however You want the customer to pay for the rental how is that even fair for the customer?? Kia will have my car for at least another month in half totally having no car over 2 months.

Anything covered under a warranty should be taken care of through Kia and the customer should not be putting out any money whatsoever this is poor customer service OK I should be taking care of their customers any other company would’ve given them a rental on their dime from day one. Purchased a new Kia Saltos in South Carolina. The only key that they gave us was defective and we have been trying to get this fixed for several weeks. Brand new car. Just get the runaround from the dealer. Very frustrated nobody really to contact.

We also found out that our trade-in was never paid off so we got a car payment withdrawn and were told by the dealership although they got us a loan that we’ve never signed a credit app. The most ridiculous thing we’ve ever been through.

I have had no heat in my car except two vents the rest all blow cold air. Kia charged $2086 to replace a heater core and still not resolved and saying there is nothing else they can do. Fixed radiator to still no heat and found a foreign substance causing blockage since my engine was replaced and not taking accountability as I have had all my service done there.

Poorest customer service, I am out $2086 and still no heat and a substance now supposedly causing damage

Hello, My name is Kaylee Short. I just wanted to share with you the experience my husband and I have recently had with our 2019 Kia Optima. We live in a rural town in Illinois and went to STL in Missouri for a weekend getaway and wedding on October 8th.

The Spitzer KIA Cleveland, OH location is extremely disappointing giving me a lack of service, lying to me about when it will be worked on, a lack of care about my situation, and no motivation to have any kind of customer satisfaction.

My car was towed to this location after my engine failed on my 2014 KIA Forte on 9/30/2022. Jake the person they assigned to be my support contact said he would have someone look at it and be in touch soon. One week later and I heard nothing from anyone. Overcharged for vehicle’s monthly payments. While my family was in the vehicle, it started making loud noises and smoke coming out of the hood and back of the vehicle. I had to scheduled an oil change two weeks ahead of time. I drove 25 miles on way to arrive on time. Just pulling into the lot is difficult because of the number of cars inline to the service department. I spoke with the service writer James Sok and told him I had an appointment at the VA Hospital and wanted to make sure that I would be able to make the appointment. Even though James was very pleasant, he said could I come back after my appointment. I told no, this would make my trip over 100 miles round trip. I asked why do you make appointments if unable to complete. He said he agreed and I left. This my second Kia and I must admit that I'm very dissatisfied in your service. In May 2015, I had to get a part replaced on my 2014 Kia Soul, which was covered under a factory recall. After waiting a month and a half for the part to come in, Kia agreed to reimburse me for my rental and towing costs, and they told me it would take about 45 days.

It has now been well over 100 days, and no check. Every time I call, they tell me it's still "processing" and that they've had delays. I don't buy it. Folks, it literally takes seconds to print a corporate check.

There is simply no valid explanation for why it could EVER take this long just to send a damn check. I've got expenses that I'm counting on that money for, and they just don't seem to care.

I took my 2016 KIA Sedona LX in for overheating. Service mentioned that coolant was dry but not leaking. That should have been the moment to run a block test for internal leaking. But instead a part was replaced and coolant added. $1000. Ridiculous.

Out the door 9 hours later at the very end of the day, I get down the road and it happens again!! Gauge was going up to total red and back down. Next visit I was told that the thermostat was sticking.

Again all day for a 1 hour job. $890!! I know that was ridiculously overbilled but just wanted my van to go to work. And yet again!! Red zone overheating!! I took it back, and a couple hours later they called and said to come in.

Today the alternator went on my Kia Forte. We had it towed to the dealership in Manahawkin NJ. I called the dealership asking about a loner. I explained my husband has to go for his chemo and we need a car.

She said the best she can do is to put us on the list. Chances of getting a car were slim. I called the main corporate number and the person was so rude. bring the car to a dealership with loaners available or to pay for a rental out of pocket.

my complaint with KIA is how i was charge for a starter and labor. KIA replace the motor and then i was told the stater was bad. the labor should have been free since the motor was out and you have to put on the starter on any way.

Keep getting the same old run around after signing the settlement letter 90 days ago to this day. I just reported to Consumer Affairs and I am ready for an attorney if anyone knows a good one who can represent me for the mental anguish and money due to me.

I did a single payment auto lease (2yr lease paid in full at the time of taking possession of the car in April 2022. ,Paid a little over 10K in a single payment) The lease buyout amount of $17,553 was good until March 2024 The Car was totaled 5 months after getting the car.

USAA the insurance company settled as a total loss for approximately $31K. Kia Finance instead of asking for the lease buyout of $17,553 on the letter of guarantee they asked for the entire $31K. So not only are they keeping 2 years of lease payments when I only had the car 5 months but they are also keeping about $13k in excess over the lease buyout of $17,553.

At the end of July I left my 2022 Kia EV6 at planet kia to be evaluated by a technician for an abnormal sound originating from the front end. I was asked by the technician to leave the car for a day or 2 to be evaluated and they would provide me a loaner vehicle to drive around (given 2020 kia rio).

On aug 1st the loaner vehicle was stolen from my townhome community and I filed a police report. The police informed me there has been an abnormally high rate of kia and Hyundai thefts because of the “kia challenge” on tik tok which allows people to easily steal these vehicles with only a USB cord.

Customer service is horrible at Power Kia Salem. I understand that they are short staffed.

However I left my car a week before my diagnosis appointment In case they could work it in earlier. 1 day after the appointment I called to find out what has happened. No answered so I left a message. No return call so I called the next day again.

I was informed that the person I had checked it in with was no longer there and they would have to find the paperwork and he would call me back. Today is the third day and no call. I finally got someone on the phone and she found the paperwork. Still no diagnosis started. Grrrr!

I took my car into East syracuse NY for a recall. A week later my remote start wasn't working. After the service argued with me that, they didn't have my car for service, I had the invoice. They wouldn't look at it again and told me to call an installations place to look at it.

Took car in with flashing check engine light. Found out that Kia engines have an issue with excessive oil consumption, and not only have I been losing oil, but the excess oil burn had clogged up my catalytic convertor. My vehicle was still under the extended warranty that Kia had issued for the problem.

We started the process of testing for excessive oil consumption. After several 1000 mile checks and tech testing, we have discovered that I was eligible for engine replacement, and was told it would take about 3 days for Kia to respond. maybe.

A month ago I had an issue with my car and found out kia doesn't provide cars to use, if car needs to stay for an extended car repair. Today I went for inspection, even though I was 4th in line, apparently cars are allowed to bring them the night before.

Which of course just ignores the first come first served for inspections in VA. This service center (Suffolk VA) sucks. Oh, so now the wait is five hours!! Ridiculous

Riverchase in Pelham, AL sold me a brand new 2022 KIA Niro without working seat belts (both front and back). I didn't realize it until Friday while driving to Atlanta and checked the back when I arrived. I called Riverchase to ask for an appointment to get them fixed as this was a safety issue, the service advisor told me I had to wait 3 to 4 months to get an appointment.

Safety issue, not their concern, it was MY problem. I heard them loud and clear. When I called the corporate office, she told me I could take my vehicle to any KIA dealership for repairs. Riverchase never shared that information.

I NEVER want to purchase another Kia again. I am trying to get my engine replace due to the recall on my 2017 Kia Sportage engine. Kia Customer Care Center Is refusing to fix this recall on my engine because I didn't get the previous safety product improvement done.

KIA Dealership in Glendale CA. I had brought my 2021 SELTOS to the Service department 3 different times for the same issue. My vehicle has a recall and I was having the same issue as the recall. The first 2 times that I took my vehicle to the dealer, I was told there is nothing wrong with it.

The 2nd time, they had my car for 3 days and when I went to pick up my car, it was very obvious that they had not even looked at my car, let alone figure out the issue that I was reporting, I had to wait at the dealership over 2 hours, while they were coming up with excuses as to why my car was not ready for pickup. I am told if I want a rental it will be customer cash pay because Kia doesnt have any loaners available. And they cant send a claim to my warranty because they dont know who is responsible yet. Even though my issue is the same as hundreds of other kia drivers.

The staff at Bosak Kia has not kept us in the loop we have to continuously reach out for info and basically keep being told the same thing. They are trying to figure out why it happened and who's responsible.

7 yrs paying for my car. I called to split my payment and I was given the ok. I asked if it would mess up my credit doing that? She told me as long as I pay it on the dates I told her, I'll be fine.

My credit report said I was late 25 times. The lady I spoke to said paying 2 weeks in a row would not hurt my credit. I was lied to about the cost of the car. I could have gotten a new car for what I was charged for this car.
