I bought a Kia Optima from ABC Nissan a year ago(March 2021) since then I have had to repair the weirdest items on it as well as get the engine replaced. I saw there was a class action and I have been trying to get Kia to add me to the class action and help replace my car because I do not trust these cars and they are a safety hazard.

So far noone has been any help and gives me the run around. At this point I am going to file a lawsuit myself.

I have submitted all the necessary information for the reimbursement. I have not received the check and no one can give me a date ," just it is being processed. " I have sent emails and left a call back number to call me about the claim for 2 weeks.

Also you call customers service number and is on hold for representative answers and they cannot help you.

My kia is only a few years old. I have nothing but issues and now waiting for a new engine. I am not happy about this , as I still owe most of the cost of my vehicle. Being in an upside down loan for a lemon is a nightmare.

I also am having issues with the service department at my dealership where my car is being serviced. I believe ei shoukd be fully compensated for this . I will consider taking legal action if this is not addressed immediately.

My 2020 Kia is still under warranty. Yesterday I called with issues to the Carolina Kia of High Point dealership where I purchased the vehicle. I was told there were no appointments until September and I would have to wait.

When I said again I am having issues and its under warranty was told the same thing. The lady then said I could try and speak to a service advisor and put in a voicemail. I left a message and never heard anything back at all.

This is horrible that they wont honor the warranty from a repeat client.

The online Customer Service responds automatically with a message that a KIA Rep. will contact you. A Case Number is assigned. The KIA Rep. never contacts you and the case is closed. I did this about 4 times.

Absolutely a joke with the Kia dealership we used and a joke with Kia corporate. 5 weeks our vehicle is sitting in the dealership parking lot for which they claim it needs a new transmission. 2021 kia Sorrento limited with 6k miles. Total joke.

Zero communication from dealership to customer and no one responds from corporate. Then today I speak to service department and they say oh we finally got an answer from corporate and we can order you a transmission now but may be another 3/4 weeks out.

There were 3 visits to this store due to the same problem that the technician can't identify. I've been towed 2 times in 1 month. There are 30 emails exchanged with the technical assistance manager, and so far I don't have any solution.

It's 6 weeks of money in car rentals, 6 weeks with my routine affected. My seats inside the car are completely stained with grease. I paid for the change of the brakes and the noise when braking, it's the same as before.

I’ve been having bad times with the car service, I hope you can check what's really going on.

Had a 2012 Hyundai accent. 2013 Kia optima and currently a 2013 Kia Sportage. ALL 3 have had same ac stop blowing cold Not one shop has ever diagnosed or fixed the problem. Sold the first 2 over this and now selling my Sportage. Burned 3 times. Never again.

I recently bought a certified Kia. The windshield has deep scratches that I didn't notice until I was driving the car home that night. I called the dealership the next day asking if they could please replace the windshield. They said no.

I have a 2016 Kia Sorrento with 80,000 and some miles. We’ve done all our diagnoses that cost a few hundred dollars and was told we need a new engine that engine through Kia is $8000. We are a below average income family we bought this Kia so we would have no more!

We are very very disappointed in Kia with a car with only 80,000 miles on it and needs a complete new engine. I would hope our other Kia last way longer than that. We trade for one of your hardship help program and for some reason we were denied.

I requested roadside assistance on Saturday, 6/4/2022, at approximately 8:00 am. I received a text stating that a tow truck had been dispatched but no one came. I waited until 10:00 when a passerby stop to ask if I need help. I told him that I didn’t have a jack and wasn’t sure if I had a spare. I did have a spare and he said that his jack fit most cars. He changed the tire and I told the passerby that I didn’t have any cash. I ask if he had CashApp and he did. I sent him $35 before we parted.

Very unhappy with response from manager when I called to let them know that my Kia Soul 2021 which I had purchased from them,(my second Kia - had previously purchased one from the same dealership seven years previously)had broken down on the highway and had to be towed into Red Deer and that I was told it needed a new transmission!

It had 4442 kilometres on it! The managers response was "What do you want me to do about it? I said I thought they should know since I purchased it through them and I was requesting a loaner car because I was told it could take anywhere from 2-6 weeks to repair my car depending on how soon they could get parts.

I have a Kia Stinger and every since I've had this vehicle I have been having problems with the wheels and tires. It appears that the tires on this vehicle are dry rotted. This is a problem I could have had an accident with the tire splitting from the threads.

I have requested that all these tires be replaced due to this being the second time I've had to bring this car back for replacements. These tires show that they were manufactured in 2020 so I wondering why my 2022 stinger has old tires on it.

We have been speaking to the manager and he's stating nothing is wrong with these tires. I feel that there is every three months I have to have one of them replace. I only have 7500 miles on this car and this is not acceptable.

I feel he is not the one that has to keep bringing this car back…

I have been trying to get an out of state transfer for over 2 months already!! And we did everything the way they asked thru e mails and thru speaking on the phone it was Supposed to take up to 2 weeks to be sent to the N J motor vehicles in Plainfield, we moved from N Y , I feel like I m in the movie ground hog day !!!

Every time we call we get a different reason why it has not happened yet !! I’m paying for insurance in my and also in nj for 3 cars and can’t drop the ny until this is resolved…. This has been taking up so much of my time .

Very frustrating. I have now visited 3 different kia dealers and it appears no one wants to work with a customer . All the sales associates act like their hands are tied and only can sell what the inventory identifies as coming in soon. No one has taken the extra initiative to help me find the car I want so I sit and wait for a car that MAY meet my desired expectations to come along. I recently purchased my vehicle (4/28/2022) just to have it to take back to the dealership twice for the same problem(engine). My car has been with the dealership for almost 3 weeks. Today they called me saying my car was ready and that the issue with the engine has been resolved.

When i went to pick it up I find that my car was scratch on the side and on the front of the hood. In addition my driver seat leather has scratches and is also damage. This vehicle is a brand new 2022, I only drove it 1 week before the issues with the engine started.

The dealership failed to take care of my car. No protected mat were place on the floor, my seats were not covered to protect my leather while they worked on it. Now i have a ruined leather seat and have major scratches in several parts of the car…

We will never buy another KIA or refer anyone to buy one.

The issue at hand is out motor blew up we paid to have it replaced. Then it blew up same day we picked it up and they put another one in. Then now already we are having to replace gaskets on top and botton and who knows what else. AC has not been right since they worked on it the last time and we have already paid one time to have the AC repaired. I am beyond disappointed in this car and will never purchase another KIA and will tell everyone that is looking not to purchase one . I don't feel like we should have to pay another almost 3000 dollars to get the car right again and this car has been a complete lemon.

Currently waiting on a response from Fayetteville Arkansas Kia- oil leak still not fixed since it originally went in last year. My car went in for a Rod Knock In August 2021. In getting my car back in January 2022, before we had driven away from the Bentonville Arkansas dealership, my husband noticed the heat shield was missing, the under tray was missing and the oil was overfilled.

They took it back in and rectified these issues. There were more MAJOR safety issues found when we got the car home. To name some- -Battery was not tied down. -undertray from a V6 which wasn’t ours. -bolt missing from heat Shield.

In october of 2021 my wife rook my vehicle for a service at airport kia in london ontario. The service was completed and she was informed that the rear calipers needed to be changed at no cost as they were still under warranty and that they would be ordered.

We waited until the end of march for them to actualky arrive at the dealership. I received two calls informing me that they were in so i made an appointment to get the calipers installed on Wednesday May 4th 2022.

I received two recall notices on my Kia Van. One was to repair the Power Sliding Left Back Door latch and the second was a recall for a FUEL RAIL THAT COULD CAUSE A FIRE. The parts were ordered, and I left my Sedona at 10:30 on March 9th for the repairs to be made.

I returned to find that my van had been parked on the back of the lot and left there all day. Nothing had been done to correct the recall problems. I made another appointment for this morning and left my van again expecting it to be ready in the afternoon.

I returned to find that my van was still sitting there untouched. When I went to pick up the van the first time there were two other women who arrived after working all day to find their cars had not been repaired.

I have 2 problems with Kia, This past Monday May 9th, needed an alternator and battery I just had the alternator and battery replaced less than a month prior. I picked up my car on May 11th $1132 the very next day May 12th the car broke again less than 24 hours, I did pay for a diagnostic.

The belt shredded the service technician spoke to the mechanic and agreed that the belt was new. This doesn't make sense. Quite simply really. I opted to pay extra to get a Kia Certified Stinger vs getting from a different dealer. 17k miles on the car, still well within warranty and the clearcoat has begun to peel off the front bumper (clearcoat, not a clear bra).

There is no "impact damage" the clear coat has simply begun to peel. This would be the whole reason I went with Certified however when brought to Kia Corp, they have come back with "due to the fact that I am the 2nd owner of the vehicle, they will only pay for half of the repair cost".

Certainly not the answer I would have gotten from my BMW dealer with my prior vehicle. Oh well Kia.

Have had my van in twice to the Wauwatosa WI kia dealer and both times have experienced terrible customer service. 1st time set appointment to fix door. Kept van for a week. When I picked up the van both of my side doors didn't work!!!

My 2022 Sorento was supposed to arrive in Feb. 2022 and has continuously been pushed back for unknown reasons, but many other vehicles continue to be produced and delivered to dealerships that are not sold. Both myself and the dealership have reached out to Kia/district reps many times for answers to no avail.

Your Customer Service REEKS!!! I left 5 calls w/the Service Dep't and not one has bothered to return my call. I am now calling Customer Service Corporate and I've been on hold for 30 minutes. You should have a system in place for us to leave our call back number and you give us a time when you will call us back. I called my local dealer to schedule a recall appointment. Service told me to be there at 9 AM. When I got there they said to put the car at the back of the line, they do first come first serve and just said 9 because they felt that might be a good time, I asked for a loaner because they said it may be a few days, and

they told me they do not do that. Per service manager, I was to leave my vehicle and it could be from 1 day to 2 months before I would get it back. I pay good money foe that vehicle and we cannot do without it foe an extended time.

Hello,

We have a 2016 Kia Sedona. Recently the head gasket had an issue and Kia determined that the engine needed replacing. That was 3 months ago. The Dealership we have the car at Cochran of Robinson in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania is doing their best to resolve this issue but Kia has not provided the parts to solve this issue and repair our car.

In the meantime we have been making payments on a car we cannot drive, we have no idea when or if we are going to get this car back and the dealership is caught in the middle. They are not at fault here but Kia is not honoring our warranty. To be honest we are livid and are done being patient with Kia corporate.

I purchased a used 2015 Kia Sportage at the end of 2020. I've had the car for just over a year, when it developed a knock. I brought it to a Kia dealership and found that the Theta 2 motor it is equipped with had a manufacturing defect.

Kia was replacing these motors due to this issue, initially without pre-requisite as I understand. They now require that a specific "Product Improvement Recall" has to be done before they will fix the problem with a new engine. The "Product Improvement Recall" doesn't show up when you check for recalls on your vehicle because it is not a safety recall.

Kia is now refusing to fix their known defective engine because a recall that I had no knowledge of, was never contacted about, and only would have found out about if I had happened to visit a Kia service…

I find it hard to write this because up to this point i have been very happy with my experience with Matt Blatt Kia in Toms River. In November 2021 I had complete failure of the engine in my 2014 Kia Sorento.

I had the vehicle towed to the dealer for repairs. I was happy to learn there was an issue with the engine and the entire replacement of the engine was covered. I inquired about a recall on the airbag part that was not addressed by me yet to see if that could be taken care of at the same time.

I've driven ONLY Kias for over 20 years now. Bought a really nice used Kia from the dealership. I understand used cars aren't guaranteed, which is why I bought the extra warranties. I've had problems from the go. Once I finally got in for an appointment, they changed the battery. Didn't fix the issue.

I made a *refundable* deposit to reserve a car and I decided I didn’t want to get the car from them anymore and asked for my deposit back. The refundable deposit was something they communicated was refundable. And I let them know 2 days after giving the deposit that I decided not to go with them anymore. It has been almost a month and I still haven’t received my refund. I have contacted multiple times and always get told it would come in 48 hours or that they were “working” on it. After getting her to safety we had her car towed to a local mechanic shop. The shop called us with the worst news a19 year old could receive, she needs a new engine. After doing research we found that the engines in the Kia's are faulty.
