I was discriminated by one of asst. training that misrepresent him self as General manager to order me to be remove from jacuzzi to put two young girls to sing and dance and make tick t. Video ( wrongdoing to differ favoritism act .

Hello, I have been with LA Fitness for about 16 years on and off but “mostly on. I have been to various locations. I live in Encinitas Ca so that is my most frequently used location. So my complaint is that the sauna seems to frequently break down.

I go to the gym to work out but a big part of what I enjoy is the sauna. If the sauna isn’t working then I’ll join another gym. The heat is most often below 180 and a sauna should be kept at at least 180 for the peak benefits!

Can someone please look into this as I am “this close to joining Eos or another gym. I’ve been a loyal LA fitness member and am familiar with the equipment and location but this is getting old and there always seems to be an exuse of some kind as to “why” the sauna isn’t working. -Temeka Byars

I brought my son ( 13 years old ) and paid the $20 fee, when I asked the general manager for my receipt , he said he didn’t have it . I saw when he put it in his pocket .

He was very rude and when I asked him for his name . He didn’t want to give it to me . I’ve been member with LA fitness for more then 12 years . I need a receipt with my son’s name and the time I paid .

I was duped into signing a physical training contract for a monthly fees of $200 for an year. What they told me verbally was never in the contract. When i read the print out of the contract, I went to this LA fitness facility and raised the concern about it with the Facility’s vice president and asked him to write an email to me clarifying the same (that my contract is month to month and i can cancel anytime).

But in spite of sending cancellation mail from USPS to their office in California(along with the email copies from vice president of this facility)they continue to charge me even though i was not joining any session due to my surgery. Please see the attached email copies.

I got a gym membership with LA Fitness back in 2020. I was told this membership would would still other locations. I relocated and was then told I could not use the member at different location and was asked to pay a fee.

I did not want to pay fee and requested to cancel my membership. I was told I had to go to my home base gym to cancel which was almost 2 hours away. I called and try to cancel for the phone and was told I could not cancel at least I walked into office.

Now 2022 Over a year of not using membership, I was still charged Monthly and yearly fees and nobody could help me cancel my membership! They make it so hard for someone to cancel, which I believe this is absolutely Absurd!

Would not recommend LA Fitness to anyone!! If I coulf leave ZERO stars I would!!

I used a day pass to test trial this gym. I was then spammed multiple times daily to join by the manager, Tyler. I did request more information to see about setting up a membership but he failed to follow through and I was no longer interested.

He then proceeded to continually spam me daily and when I requested to longer receive information he took it personally and sent a rather rude unprofessional message implying I cut my fitness short. This has definitely turned me off from ever wanting to join Esporta fitness.

I'm complaining because my membership has been on a freeze since 2020 because of the pandemic in which I paid in August 2020 but never went. I didn't have to make a payment in 2021 either because of the freeze.

Now since everything has opened back up, I'm ready to head back to the gym and I was told I had to make a payment. In which I stated I already paid in 2020. So Why do I have to pay again?

Plus now I have all my booster shots and feel comfortable working out.

The hot tub at the Palm Harbor Fl was closed again yesterday and today. It was closed for about a month when I asked about the problem during that month and was given answers like the auto chlorinator was not working properly working, waiting for parts, they were doing an enzyme treatment.

When I called customer service in California it was fixed the next day. Please have them fix the problem.

*Got scammed by “Manager” Stephon and he was rude when called out on his BS

I was greeted by Stephon and he offered me a membership plan where I could bring two other guests for $30/ month with $0 down, must pay first and last months payment, and a $49 annual fee. He was very pushy about this deal only lasting until the end of today 05/06/22. After going through the paperwork I repeatedly mentioned if my monthly payment will be $30/ month. He assured me it would be and that it’s a great deal.

I ended up cancelling my Planet Fitness membership that same day by paying an early cancellation fee of $58, because LAF has better amenities and at $30/month it’s better than paying $23/month at PF.

Received a copy of my agreement and it says $45/ month. I call up Stephon to ask if it…

I’ve been a member for 2 years now and today I had the worst experience with your employees. The desk clerk Jamie Minor and the Manager Elvion were extremely rude to me and my guest. He was waving a sign in paper in my guest face to sign.

And calmly my guest said he didn’t appreciate that and Elvion quickly got defensive. Almost mocking my guest. And as we were exchanging words the manager Elvion stepped in without even understanding what was going on took his employees side of things and began yelling and talking over us.

And tried to talk over us stating WE were creating issues when we weren’t able to get an edges word in to defend ourself before he told us to get out! Absolutely ridiculous and unprofessional. He wasn’t very pleasant to talk to at first.

I attend water aerobics at Oro Valley, AZ. The swimming pool has been cloudy for quite some time, can barely see my feet in the water. I have tried talking with staff. Today I tried talking to the "manager". This woman is in dire need of customer training.

First she walked away and said she "doesn't have time for this", then she said if I was dissatisfied I should go to another LA fitness several miles away. The pool gets used several times a week for water aerobics.

She was trying to say that it was our member's fault, too many people, then shifted to some gobbledygook about sensors. Get a new manager. Fix the pool.

I'm so disappointed with the service of LA Fitness because I was scammed by one of the sales reps (Gerson) when I purchased my and my husband's membership. The day I bought the memberships I told Gerson that I needed my two daughters to be able to come to the gym with my husband and me.

I told him that I had the same offer with another gym (24 hrs. fitness) and that if he could match their offer I would stay with LA Fitness. He assured me that with what I had bought both my husband and I could enter with a guest with our memberships.

The first three weeks I had no problems getting in, then my kids started school and they no longer went to the gym with us. But recently my husband took one our kids again to the gym and they revoked my husband's entry with my kid.

The swimming pool located at 3455 NE 207 st. Miami Fl. 33180 is ice cold since a month ago, no one is going there to water-exercise because of the COLD temperature, customers have talked endlessly with the "manager" but nothing is done, we pay our membership properly and we deserve a little attention.

The old customer crew is complaining but this guy does not do anything (only a lie related to a heating technical piece that never arrives) PLEASE DO SOMETHING!! THANK YOU. The former manager (Sheryl) was brilliant but this new one isn't.

Marc Gentile, Vice President of personal training, is nearly impossible to contact. He is unaware of the training conditions at the locations he represents, I found working with him extremely unprofessional. The LA fitness team held my personal training contract hostage claiming they could not let me review it.

Today a client was kicked out of the club in Waukegan, IL, simply because he complained his lock was cut down in the men's locker room. 00 was taken from his wallet. As he notified the front desk and was helped by one of their representatives, who then notified the manager from the club, the manager in a very rude tone of voice stated he was busy with a customer.

As the person continued to explain his lock had been cut down, the manager got extremely upset and repeated her was with a customer, the manager stated he had sent one if his employees to cut down the lock, got very upset and literally kicked the customer out, yelling and cursing at him.

On March 16, 2022, between 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM, I was on a Tread Mill when a female custodian asked me, how much time I had left, I said I had 20 minutes. After 15 minutes, a male custodian came back to me and said he had to clean so I have to stop the machine with only 3 minutes left to complete my 60 minute routine.

He was behind me harassing me so I stopped the machine and left. What hurt me is that I was harassed and disrespected by an employee. The machine was not marked "scheduled for service". I reported the incident to Christian, who he said he is a Manager.

I just witnessed how this manager spoke to my daughter while she was at work. I was offended by her tone and mannerism. Is this what LA Fitness stands for? Good am . Whittier is my club I’m assigned to. I join membership to have total access to the basketball courts. Which seem not to be available the times I can get to the gym. House keeping shuts the door upon me entering the gym.

And at time she not even cleaning the courts she has her cart just parked on the basketball courts. My complaint is that I’m paying membership to utilize the basketball court. Why can’t houses keeping clean other equipment that is not in use or even the aerobic room that is Harley at use at the time.

The 6 bikes at South Plainfield NJ Esporta club have been not functioning properly for months. I have made several complaints where nothing has been done. Last mo I was told by the Mgr (Amy) that the bikes software needs to be updated. They are still broken.

I have been harassed by the Omid,T one of the managers at your location on Yonge and Sheppard, Toronto. I filled a complaint online and also talked to someone on the phone at your main office. I was told that William the district manager will call me after he come back to work on December 17, last year. I signed up to LA Fitness in Port Orange Florida. I stated I wanted to use the swimming pool because this is how i want to exercise per my medical doctors. When I got to what I thought was a welcome appointment to let me know how to use the machines, it was built around to get me to have a personal trainer. It was going to cost me money, I don't have. It was very humiliating to have someone keep reminding you of how large you as a person and what area you want to be at. I never got to see what areas I was interested in: swimming pool and recumbent bike.

It was very upsetting to learn all I went through was to SALE me a personal trainer program.

My complaint has to do with their personal training department and how short the cancellation period is within their contract. I signed up for personal training at an LA Fitness location, only to have the only personal trainer at that location quit 12 days later.

To make matter worse, the trainer informed me of his departure from the company when I alerted him that I had arrived at the gym to warm up for our session. Due to the 5 day cancellation window, LA Fitness is holding me to the full terms of the contract and ultimately penalizing me for the actions of their employee.

I have been offered everything from LA Fitness to pacify this poor example of customer service, except cancel my personal training contract. This whole ordeal has left such a bad taste in my mouth that I'd rather be…

I have signed up with the training membership on 12/3/2021. The first two weeks, I had two no shows, one late, and then the assistant manager tells me there no availability for me due them only having two trainers and my schedule.

I work a 9-5 job Monday-Friday. I didnt know my schedule was so complexed. Then they mark me as a session when the trainer did a no show. I have tried multiple times to get out this contract. I sent a letter in the mail and was delivered to corporate on 12/30/2021 at 8:10am.

We belong to one of your Signature Clubs, Lake Success New York. We do not want to get into running your business but this club is poorly maintained. We are the early members, arriving when the club opens. When we came in on Monday mornings, we were all greeted by Sean Dharang, one of the few people who seem to know everyone and everyone’s name. I am a member of the Spanaway-Tacoma area clubs. I have been in the Spanaway club on Thursday and again today, Saturday. Washington State has a mandatory mask rule in effect and it doesn't appear to be applicable to the club in Spanaway.

Thursday I counted 36 people either not wearing a mask or wearing the standard "chin mask". I watched as your desk person let 3 people that came in together with no masks pass by and head toward the weights. Very rarely do I see people on the bikes and treadmills with their masks on and that is where the most air is pushed out of the lungs.

Today, Saturday, I counted 21 blatantly not wearing one and several chin masks. Even one of the LA cleaning staff did not have a mask on! My wife was so upset and concerned about the non maskers that she froze her…

My membership was cancelled after not using it for a year. I went back and the girl said I could use the gym until they fixed my membership. I called silver sneakers the program for seniors and they said my membership would be reinstated.
