Tried to use the gym 12/23/21. They said I have to pay for renewal. Paid it. But membership did not renew. They said it was for last year. But I did not use the gym last year which was paid in December2019. Why am I charged?

I have auto pay through Discover for the past 30 years. It's not fair why I'm being penalized for the Pandemic. Please renew my membership ASAP as you got my payment today. Thank you.

I want to share the horrible experience with the membership cancellation with LA Fitness. I am trying to cancel my membership for 4 months now. My first attempt was several months ago by calling a gym. They advised me to mail out the form in order to cancel the membership.

After mailing a form I was still seeing charges for the membership. Then I went to an actual gym location and requested to cancel the membership. Whoever for at the front made me wait 20 min only to find out that I need to mail the form again because they didn’t receive it.

After mailing the cancellation for the 2nd time I am still seeing recurring charges and my account is still active. In November 2021, I sent another form, and no luck. After discovering a charge from my debit card, I just decided to stop recurring…

Everyday after work going to gym and my dance class is something I look forward to! I have been a member at this gym since 2020, my membership is paid in full yearly and its conveniently located in my building (2forestlaneway, Yonge and Sheppard ) where I live for more than 15 years now.

Worse customer service. of course every employee follow the stores manager leads, he is rude and he just care about been in his phone never greet people and is obvious no one cares about customer service in here. The gym is pretty much falling apart and no one its fixing anything, The men bathroom or Locker room always stink Sad because this gym is not even 3 years old.

Now are opening a brand new Planet fitness no even 1 block away, Hopefully you all are not losing to much business

Hi, the jacuzzi out of order since around one month ago , the heating of swimming pool is low and is below than the ideal temperature for indoors pools in winter which is 84 F since more than 20 days , today i talked with one of employees of the desk reception he informed me that he cannot tell me the real temperature because the thermometer tester is not working well !!!! how can that happened , I’m a senior and i had made a procedure to my heart and the cold water effects me so much , i tried to discussed with the director Sara , I didn’t satisfied with her excuses especially when she told me that 74 F decree is a good decree for the heating of the swimming pool !!!

I been here T this gym for over 1 year there’s 2 cleaning people. ThT are the most disgusting in the world. I haven’t seen them use a mop since I’ve been here all they do it pick up paper and change the garbage.

My son got sick with RSV from the LA Fitness in Woodbridge a month ago. I finally build the courage to go back to the gym and had brought up my concerns with the manager regarding policies in place for sick children at the Kids Club.

The manager told me that they advise parents to not bring sick children however they do not turn away sick children. They still allow the children to stay at the Kids Club when they are visibly sick. I find this completely unsafe and disheartening that a parent can’t drop their child off for 1 hour to use the gym in peace without having to worry if they’re baby is going to get sick or not.

I was told to leave the pool area today because an aquatic class was going on. I walk the pool every time I go there.

However this morning I was told I could not be in there during her class by the instructor. If I am walking the back wall and the side of the pool. Not interfering with her class I don’t see an issue, she allowed a man in the jacuzzi and didn’t say anything to him.

The mens restroom and dressing room was a disaster. It looked like a homeless encampment!!!!!! Trash everywhere and two sinks not working plus a urinal not working . It’s seem easier to put a sign not in service than actually call a plumber !

We wouldn't have any complaints if we hadn't signed up for a year's worth of training sessions. It started out fine for the first few months, but the we kept losing trainers. Each initial session is a 'start over'. When our 2nd trainer (who was awesome) got another job, we were left without a trainer for a month.

and another month went by. He worked mornings. Increasingly frustrated, we asked to cancel our training and be refunded the three months that had passed without training sessions. I have spoken to 4 people at corporate, all promising to make this right.

I came in to see about a trial pass at my local gym, after deciding I wasn’t going to join one closer to work. Person tells me they don’t offer passes, and I was fine with that. They offered to show me round the gym though, and I accepted their offer.

During the walk, they mentioned that they do offer passes, but the way I asked for it, wasn’t appropriate (walked back a lie)… I apologised and kept on with the tour. I asked about the pool, and they said those amenities were not included in the pass… At the conclusion of the tour, they now said that they’d offer me a pass, but would look the other way as to how I got the pass.

I informer him that it made no difference to me either way, if they didn’t offer me the pass, I wouldn’t consider the club. Within a week, they called me at my place…

Roxana Silva on October 20, 2021, just suffered a huge embarrassment at LA fitness, located at 1801 NE 123 Street, suite 200 in North Miami. I am Celeste Gouvea and I have been a LA fitness member for almost 17 years and I suffered the same!

Roxana is from Peru, she just moved to Miami and she is looking for a nice gym to register herself and she asked me for help. Before Roxana come to visit this LA Fitness center location, she carefully filled her online free pass access, and I also made a previous call and spoke to the representative called Manny Casas at this location.

Which he was very attentive and welcomed Roxane to come and try her free pass access to see if she likes the gym.

Also, gently he said that we should call him when we got at the gym reception. So, we did exactly that.…

Here is my list of complaints: You must were mask in there at all times - yet the staff never checks and people work out all the time without masks The staff is always sitting at their desks looking at their phones. The showers in the ladies locker on the left side as you walk in do not have hot water The sauna floor is disgusting. You would think since it was closed for a year it would have been thoroughly cleaned but that is not the case. How come when I come in on Sunday mornings when they open the ladies locker room is a mess - trash canes overflowing - many cleanser bottles on the counter - the drains in the shower full of hair.

I could go on and on. I probably will contact the PG Health Department about the mask issue.

Never before have I been to a gym where so very few people wipe down the machines before and after using them! It's terrible that management doesn't enforce this policy.

Also the trainers don't do it as well. They set a horrible example. The only thing I can think of is that they weren't trained properly or worked at a respectable gym. I guess the question is what find of facility are you trying to run?

Company stole my wages.

When hired at LA Fitness located at 3029 Daniels Road, Winter Garden, Florida 34787. Phone number 407-877-0680. Manager would not allow me to clock in for any of my training shifts, saying that she would manually clock me in herself, and never did. Following my training I received a discriminating work schedule. Scheduling me from times like 5am to 8pm and other 12 - 14 hour shifts, while all the other employees schedules were normal working hours 4-8 hour shifts. When I received this joke of a schedule I decided it was best for me to not work with this company. Also, I was told I would be receiving a 5% commission on all of sales only to find out I had to split that 5% with manager so I would only get 2 % and the manager would be receiving 3% of all my sales. I was recently employed with a Esporta Fitness, durring my employment I was diligent in my work and I did my assignments to the best of my capability. I spent money on a uber to get to work just to be meet with whispers and uncanny side eyes after seeing me realize im not able to clock in, the supposed manager smirks and asked me "Doe didn't call you?? :)?

Hi, I have faced so many issues with LA fitness that shows that employees are not trained. The first problem happened when I signed up, the person who signed me said I have a VIP guest of two weeks that was suggested to my friend who came a week later and wasn’t able to access because they refused her entrance.

Then treated her in non polite way saying that people they sneak without paying and that she doesn’t have any intention to join LA fitness. This behavior just embarrassed her and she didn’t want to go again.

Second problem is when I signed up for personal training and discover that it is a complete mess, first I was assigned apparently to 2 trainers and no coordination between the team and no schedule. Then when I showed up for the first session and raised the problem they said…

My complaint is because I wanted to cancel the training classes for now. Every time I tried to talk to somebody who can help, it was always a different person, different answers. Nobody knew or had the right answer. Of course they all said , they had to wait for the person in charge to cancel my training classes. Nobody ever called me, obviously these people did not care. I have still 12 classes with the trainer that I want to use but, everything is cancelled including the 12 classes . I pay $60.00 for 25 minutes class. Or either I get $720.00 back or the 12 classes. This place is a dump and gross! How the state allows them to keep their doors open to the public is beyond me! The equipment is all broken down, look how rusted the weight stack is! This is because they hardly have any AC on so the equipment rust with all the humidity.

You can't find any dumbbells, half the time the cables are broken or the clips are gone so you can't even put a grip on the cable. Weights are left all over the place, god forbid you can find a 10lb plate anywhere.

The pads are all worn so the metal cuts into your body on many of the pieces. They should be shut down for the potential liability of injury on poor equipment that is CLEARLY NOT MAINTAINED IN GOOD WORKING ORDER!

They should not be ALLOWED to charge people or have their doors open at the Hollywood, FL location…

Before LA Fitness at Blaine, MN closed due to the pandemic, the service I received for personal training was good. I accrued 11 sessions a month and regularly used those sessions. After the club closed and then re-opened, I spoke with staff numerous times about the lack of trainers and my concern that my training sessions were accumulating.

I was assured many times that new trainers were being hired and I would be able to use my sessions. Now, with only one month of notice, the club is closing. There is no way that I can use my training sessions (50 of them) because there are no trainers available.

I have checked in-person with staff at the club and an area operations manager. I have called to speak with Member Services (Cheyanne first and the referred to Stephanie). LA Fitness refuses…

Hello there i use to be a employee at Esporta Fitness at the 4620 Taylorsville Rd Louisville KY 40220 location and i decided to leave the company. The manager there named Bailey Stockton told me i cannot workout at any Esporta Fitness location for 6 months because i left the company.

Personally i think she was trying to get back at me for leaving. Bailey Stockton told me its company policy that if a employee quits or gets fired they cannot work at any Esporta Fitness for 6 months is this true?

Horrible location in Gambrills Maryland! The bathrooms are always dirty. I go in on a Saturday morning and the bathrooms are not stocked and are dirty. So clearly they are not getting cleaned nightly.

Also they are supposed to open at 8:00 on Saturday and Sunday mornings but 5 times now there has been no one to open the doors until 9:00 or even later. Unexceptable!

I went to the Aventura LA fitness three weeks ago and I was shocked. That used to be my home gym for many years and when I walked in there not only did it smell like a sewer, the bathroom was so disgusting it look like they had a party.

I couldn’t get over what I saw. When I went upstairs to the room to take a Zumba class the floor was so dirty I couldn’t even move and I wear dance shoes that I can slide on any floor.

therefore he said he can do nothing for me and hung up. I don’t understand how someone like that has a job especially in management. Never have I ever been treated that way before and now it’s a problem. Something needs to be done

I’ve been a member of la fitness since August 28, 2007. After weathering the pandemic I was thrilled to be able to return to the beloved pool in Everett WA. Bring a senior citizen this is the main type of therapy I am able to do.

I’m very miffed that the hot tub is still not functional after all this time and all these promises from staff that it will be very soon. Can you please explain what the hold up is? It’s the only other type of therapy option for me and I really regret paying for a service that is not available.

I know I not the only one who is disgruntled! Please speed up your efforts to get this situation remedied or I will be forced to look elsewhere and take my friends with me. Thanks!
