My Name is Princess Serra and I join LA fitness recently and they called me for A Interview scheduled me for this Friday at 3pm, I arrived at 2:40 however when I got there they couldn’t find my name after speaking with Charlotte Coppens Operational management did not even introduce herself to me told me after asking me About 5 basic question she would call me after her other Interviews was complete. Please please turn the horrible music off or way down. Most of your guests wear headsets because the music is so bad and too loud. Way to diverse a crowd to have the pathetic yuppy music playing.

Also, do we really have to have the pathetic news on most of the televisions? Turn them off or offer more variety. Isn't everyone pretty much disgusted with our news media.. I know many other people have probably voiced their concerns.

We come to the gym primarily to work out not to have you decide what we will watch or listen to. Thank for considering this concern. Tim Shea.

TI am writing on behalf of my son, Malcolm McElroy. Unfortunately, he was terminated on April 22, 2021 from his position from the LA Fitness location at Bowie town center in Bowie, Maryland. Ordinary, I would not get involved, but this situation was so incredibly unfair and disappointing, I felt I needed to inform you so no other young people would receive the same dreadful experience my son suffered.

The work environment is toxic and demeaning for the young people hired. The manager offers no training or direction for the workers. Individuals are hired, given membership quotas and threatened daily if they are not meeting those quotas. A. m. today to inquire about the procedures that they have in place regarding covid prevention. " I felt that was not a cordial way to begin a conversation. Then I asked her about the procedures that are in place regarding covid safety.

It took her about 30 seconds to answer by saying that people should stay six feet apart and that temps are checked. A. Fitness is not safe to go to. So I called back an hour later and asked to speak to the manager. His name is Lawrence.

I told him about the conversation with the front desk person and he said that corporate office told them to ask the callers if they are a member before proceeding with the conversation. I didn't believe him so I requested corporate number.

I find it completely disgraceful that your gym is hungry after $43.

First of all you shut down your stupid business for an entire year due to my understandable situation such as covid. So I’m not able to come in to work out for an entire year, minus at least four days that it was open.

You don’t have my email address, but you do have my phone number. You claim that you sent me an email, but then you realize you don’t have any email address for me, so where is my text? Stating that you’ve opened and I’m ready to come back?

I recently got my 14 year old a membership so i can work with him on the basketball court. He has gone 3 times and really likes it. 2 weeks ago there was a fight on a friday night so the manager closed it down.

My son and I were not there that night we usually go during the day when no one is there. The manager first told me they were going to open after a week but still hasn't. The bball court is part of our membership.

That is why I signed my son up. The manager chose to just shut it down--easy way out instead of finding the root of the problem. Too many guest were in there using the court. Guys have stacks of the free guess passes.

They also sneak guys in the back door. There would be ton of people in there barely with masks so apparently someone called the health department. Manager…

I signed up with La Fitness again through my insurance company. I went there early in February and I noticed that some people were not wearing mask. The sign at the door clearly posted MUST WEAR MASK- The staff at the front desk allowing people to workout with no mask.

I sent an email about my concerns and Olivia -(Customer service to me if I wanted to cancel my membership OI would have to do it through my insurance company. she never apologized about my concerns or addressed the no mask policy at all.

I went back a month later and it was the same if not worst. People working out again with no mask , machines are always broke and the bathrooms filthy. There are 50 bottles of spray disinfection and no one is using them.

LA has been calling me for a CC update after I thought I had paid for the year in January. So, I called today, talked to first person, no clue. Talked to second person who could not help me and transferred me to a Dallas location. Wrong location, evidently she didn't look to see which location I was a member. That person transferred to (a fourth time) the location my membership was tied too, and guess what. The line went dead.

Follow through sucks and no one has called me back. Second issue is I paid (supposedly) for the year and am not paying month-to-month, lwhich of course is more expensive. Seems like the member always loses with LA.

I like the location, cleanliness and all that, but dealing with the new staff every month, it seems, and then not getting what I thought I was buying…

Poor communication. unreasonable charging of membership and lack of attentiveness to client's request LA Fitness did not deliver to its commitment. What was agreed on the phone, the LA Fitness associates did not credit the accounts as agreed. Numerous attempts were made to correct the billing.

LA Fitness only relied on email as the single source of communication regarding membership charges. There were several email correspondence that I did not receive.

I went to the La Fitness in Norristown, Pa, Zip Code 19401. I was given a quick tour and met by someone who identified themselves as the general manager Tim is his name. He was rude and blow me off when I asked for written pricing information to take with me.

He asked for my information which I wouldnt provide because as I told them I am visiting a few gyms in the area before I make a decision. It is unprofessional not to have any written literature to provide for prospective customers.

When I mentioned this to them he just blew me off again. I am angry!!!

I work regularly at LA Fitness on Altamesa Blvd Fort Worth, Texas. There are continuous breakdowns to pool, whirlpool, steam room etc. Worse still is it will stay down a week to three weeks. Currently the pool area is “Pending Maintenance”!

But now in second week. Really! I occasionally work out at other LA Fitness clubs in Fort Worth and Grand Prairie. They are always professional and few problems occur!

I live in Hollywood and travel to the Aventura location as the Hollywood location was not enforcing mask wearing. Aventura was doing great in the beginning, but now getting complacent. The gentleman at the front desk does his best to make announcements and to enforce masks when we bring it to his attention.

Poor guy has to put up with a lot, I feel bad for him. But it is usually the same offenders and if you ask nicely to pull up the mask it ends up being an altercation! Sooner or later you need to make examples of people, throw out a few members and I guarantee the rest will fall into line.

Signed up for personal training March 4, 2020. For about $500. Paid another 300 Covid hit I got Covid gym was closed got two sessions. Went back to the gym April told that I got to give another $300 before they give me any sessions so that would be $1100 for three sessions.

I called earlier today to add a new card since we had to update my card. Spoke to a young man that was very nice but in the background he said his manager was dealing with a disgruntled employee that was arrested the day before.

I could care less about the situation. " Whether he was the manger or not I thought it was very unprofessional. The employee was giving me the play-by-play. Before the last shutdown of my gym (LA Fitness Valencia, CA), I had over 40 prepaid Pilates classes on my account. When the gym reopened, it dropped my prepaid classes to 5. I've tried to remedy this by talking to several employees at LA Fitness and have sent several emails over the past several weeks.

Nothing has been done by LA Fitness to try and remedy this even though they admit my classes were dumped and due back to me.

The club is dirty and the sales people lie and are not helpful. I signed up for personal training and didn't get what I thought I signed up for. They lied about how to suspend/cancel and I have been unable to reach anyone regarding cancellation when I have a medical note from my doctor.

I have called and emailed many times and I am unable to speak to anyone. This place is awful and I would never recommend it to anyone.

I would like to complain about your manager, Sabrina ’s poor manner by over exercised LA Fitness club rule.

I went to LA Fitness in Pico Rivera, CA on 3/31/21, only to do a Zumba Class from 7pm to 8pm, and the girl at the front desk told me that I could not come in, and that I had to wait outside like everyone else. I wasn’t even going to use the rest of the gym.

I asked her if this is always going to be the case, and she said yes. This makes no sense to me. When the gym re-opened, they were letting people go straight to the Zumba classes since they are scheduled for only one hour.

Why are they now not letting me in? The only reason I have this membership is for the Zumba classes. I never use the rest of the equipment.

I met with the assistant manager Dominique to have my measurements done. I told him to cancel my next 2 sessions because I had to cover a shift for one of my nurses that week and the following was was my daughter’s birthday.

I signed up for this club through my FitDirect benefit. I accepted the free personal training session I liked it and knew that having a weekly trainer would keep me accountable so I agreed to sign up for 6 months of once a week personal training sessions.

I signed WAY too many times through an electronic device, without having the time or inclination to go over the details of each page individually. I asked on several occasions that copies of my paper be sent to me but I never received them.

I praise the trainers who helped me tone up and feel great.

However, while there we all experience VERY VERY LOUD MUSIC PLAYED BY THE CORPORATION.

I'm very upset with the quality of cleanliness and equipment care that is at the Union New Jersey LA Fitness Center. I have called the center and expressed my concern about the showers. They got cleaned for a week and now it is back filthy and unkept. The manager, by the name Jacky, always seems to have an attitude and does not want anyone to address her. Also, the equipment is torn and one machine has been out of service for a month now. I really am concerning changing clubs, however, I thought of reaching out to someone first in hopes that something would change.

I was given a free assessment with a personal trainer when I first signed up for my membership. The trainer was great during the actual assessment portion. When it came time to discuss monthly plans, pricing, “locking in deals” it was extremely uncomfortable and I felt as if I was being backed into a corner.

I said no in 4 different ways, I didn’t have my wallet, I didn’t want to use the card I have on file, I didn’t have the card I wanted on Apple Pay, I have other financial obligations that take precedence. Personal training was presented untruthful. I was promised 45 min. It’s only 25 min. They don’t have trained trainer, got no promises services, I was still charged. Later I got an apology and a promise of cancellation and money back. That was also a lie. So for one training session I was charged $700 dollars. I received a call from a LA Fitness rep Annie Shack (407-977-8177) on Friday 3/19/21. 00 I called to confirm this offer and went into the Glenside location where they refused to honor this offer even though the OM at Abington (Joe) spoke with Annie and she confirmed the offer she made.

Joe spoke with his district manager (Patrick) and he also refused to honor the offer made to me. With regret I subsequently ended my membership. I have been a member for over 15 years. I didn't create this offer, your rep brought it to me and for me to be treated this way and not have this offer honored is truly disappointing and unacceptable.

I use the LA Fitness on Highway 70 in Bradenton. Of the aerobic machines many are not connected to electric and TV. Since we can only use 50% of these machines the ones we use should be working. Next the place is dirty.

The floors are filty, the machines are dusty. The restrooms smell and often on weekends there is no toilet paper or paper towels. The staff just does not care.

on 03/11/21 at 7-15pm I went to N. Brunswick facility, I had argument with one of front desk guy regarding my son's signing entry sheet as he is goes with me as guest. There were three in the front desk, one girl and two guys.

I have no complain against the person who had hot conversation with me. Girl was nice. After conversation while I was going inside for workout the other guy (3rd person) said "fuck you", I replied to the guy " you can't say fuck you to members".

Oviedo LA Fitness in Florida, on Saturdays at 10:00 has all racquetball courts filled with 4 players (NO masks) and benches outside watching with about 14-20 people seated side-by-side with no masks. I want this gym to stay open, but if there is an outbreak of COVID - it will be because you are not policing your own establishments.

With this pandemic, LA fitness closed their facilities. They paused payment. I received an email about a 3month free guest pass once gyms open back up. When I went in months later, one of the employees told me that email wasn't eligible because it was either we continue to pay for the gym (while they were closed), then we would be allowed to bring a guest in for 3 months for free.

The original email didn't state that. I then paid $16 for my guest to use the gym that day. Then, I realized that the managers at my particular gym weren't as helpful when I had questions, so I wanted to cancel.

99 for pro-rated monthly fee on 7/6/2020. 00. When I joined LA Fitness in March 2020 I specifically stated over and over to NOT draft payments before the 21st day of the month because this would cause overdraft fees. It is not my fault the pandemic caused closings and now that the gym has opened you want to draft fees on the WRONG day!

Hello! I arrived at LA Fitnes in Clearwater where I was attended by Joseph Plant and we told him that we are foreigners, that we wanted to work out for two months, as we will be returning to our country. That was two weeks before they closed Gym because of Covid.

He charged: registration fee, 2 months in advance and he warned at the time that we would not need to pay the annual fee, as we would freeze (we would only use two months).

There were undue charges on the card. To resolve it, we had to go to the Gulf to Bay unit several times and speak to Mr Joseph Plant.

I am a member of LA Fitness in Arizona. Recently I went into the club on Gilbert Rd and 202 in Gilbert Arizona. The club has a sign indicating face masks are to be worn but while I was working out over 9 people around me had no masks and they approximately 3 feet away from working out.

I brought it to the managers attention and his answer is "we do the best" While I was talking with him two young people walked in both not wearing masks nd he never addressed them. This not only unsafe in todays issues but currently against Maricopa County directives issued by the county.

This is ABSURD! I tried calling at least 7 times and half of those times ive been on hold over an hour and still no answer! I just rejoined LA fitness in march. 99/kids club. Well covid hit and I understand the gyms being closed.

99 fee and havent step foot since March!!! I am trying to get my money back because i have severe health issues/weak immune system and not stepping foot back in the a gym to catch covid and have no need for it anymore.

I am also moving within the upcoming months and theres no LA fitness near. This is the absolute worst customer service and Im just trying to get my money back!!!!!
