You’ve lost a long time repeat customer due to poor service from Customer Care and subsequent apathy and outright rudness of showroom manger in Reading, PA. Bought/ ordered recliner and loveseat in November 2021, received late April 2022. By September, the, recliner was unstable, and arms were starting to fall off.

After multiple attempts to reach customer care, a technician visited October 17, 2022 and could not fix the issue. We’ve heard nothing since. Multiple calls to customer care require wait times of 1-2 hours to speak with someone. They promise to call back regarding resolution of our problem and do not.

In frustration we called the showroom, where Lazy Boy staff denied any concern or accountability for their product. They were in no way desirous of hearing our problem, or…

I bought a new powerlift chair in October. The back and seat is very uncomfortable. (the one in the store was fine) Thinking maybe it just needs to be broken in I've put up with it for two months now.

I have a sore back and butt now. Thanx. I've tried contacting La-Z-Boy but, I've just been ignored. I will never buy another of their products. Very unhappy. An expensive lesson. Rick.

I purchased a Lazy Boy recliner on Sept. 05, 2021. The chair arrived in Jan/Feb 2022. After two weeks the seat began to sag and there are marks on the seat where your legs go. I contacted Lazy boy and they sent out a technician and was told that the padding was defective.

He said I would hear from Lazy Boy within three weeks. Never heard from anyone. Contacting customer service is a joke. No one ever answers. I emailed Lazy Boy in June and received a reply to contact customer service. Again no answer at Lazy Boy.

I do not know where to go from here. Will never again purchase from this company.

The power recliner on my couch broke. Called La-Z-Boy for months. Anna in service would not return my phone calls. I finally called and ask for an email address. For over a month and a half I emailed to get my chair repaired.

Called today to speak the Manager, Valerie. Her response is I can pickup your couch on Friday and bring it back to you in a month. She does not apologize that no one has attempted to return my phone calls or emails from months ago.

La-z-boy does not value their customers and is proud to sell poor quality furniture at a very high price. I will be glad to advertise this situation for La-z-boy.

I ordered a "stand alone" chaise that was NOT going to be part of a sectional. Since it was a custom order the salesman said it would be no problem...however, what I got was their standard chaise...which shows a black area on the side and a bracket where it would be attached to the sectional. The zipper on the cushion was also visable. La-Z-Boy said they couldn't fix it...this is after waiting 7 months for the chair. They offered a full refund, but that would leave me without a chair. Finally, they agreed to provide fabric so I could PAY an upholsterer $300 to make it right. Don't buy custom items from La-Z-Boy. When I spoke to the upholsterer for the first time he said "Don't tell me...you bought from La-Z-Boy. I fix their stuff all the time!"

I bought a La-Z-Bboy recliner sofa January 1998 and it can with a full Lifetime Warranty. It needs repair. A spring is trying to poke through the back when I recline. I've tried unsucessfully to reach them by telephone and on their website.

Even the salesman at the store told me "Good Luck. They do not answer their telephone for us either". That really gives me confidence in their customer service. How does a consumer get a company to honor their warranty?

called 4 different times at 4 different times of day for a warranty claim and still have not talked to a live person. horrible horrible horrible customer service. the longest i waited was 1hr 10 minutes and I had to hang up.

i spent a total of almost 4 hours trying to get someone, i wouldn't buy their furniture again ever. what a useless company they are. very expensive and then when their product breaks there is no one available to help.

Comfort care made a service call tech showed up said I needed a new motor, recliner is 2 months old. Few weeks later second technician installed new motor and same problem, technician said I needed a new chair. Every time I call there is no information that the technician put in for a new recliner.

I have to wait 3 business day so they can make decision. I've waited 2 weeks and still nothing. Financing this chair and paying for a chair that is not working like the one I seen in the store.

went into lazyboy and asked for a large comfortable recliner. instead of fitting me to a chair as they promise in their literature they took me to a chair for someone over 6 ft tall which i did not know. i am 5'4".

the first day i sit in the chair it causes SEVERE back spasms so painful it brings me to tears. i try a pillow behind my back, a rolled towel etc. no relief. i was up all night tossing and turning with extremely painful back spasms.

i call the manager hoping to get some ideas for relief as we moved and they are the only chairs we have. she has zero compassion and just starts talking over me and yelling that they delivered them a few months ago and she wont do anything.

we had just opened them and taken them out of the boxes a couple days ago.

I shopped at the Columbia, MD Lazy Boy store today attempting to purchase a recliner. When it was time to purchase chair, Store came out stated that they do not access Affirm virtual credit cards because there is not name on it. I explained that I can show my in the affirm account. She dismissed my offer to reassure her and just said they do not accept these cards. There was no attempt to call corporate to see if they had more information and the store manager did not show any effort to assist me with understanding the policy. On the Affirm website, it clearly indicates that the card can be used in the store. I feel she her customer service was poor, and it appeared that she only wanted to get back to whatever she was doing.

00, on 11-23-22. I had 2nd thoughts at 1st step-- on the sales floor, but I proceeded. The day b-4 delivery I got a recorder saying it would be delivered the next day on 11-23 @3:30 pm to 6:30 pm.

Granted I have no phone # to call, being a 64 yr female that lives alone I don't think any reputable company should be at anybody house after 5:00 pm deliveryong anything but again I had no # to call. The next day came for delivery--3:30 pm came, 4;30 came, 5:30 came 6:30 i gat a call from a recorder saying it would be 1 hr.

I purchased a new laz y boy power recliner on October 20, 2020 and paid extra to extend the two year warranty to three years. Two years later, on that exact date, the chair malfunctioned, felt like it was “ off the rails”.

I called the “ Customer Care” department at the store I purchased the chair at, over and over again. No one answers, and you leave a voice mail message, over and over again, and no one ever calls back. Ended up calling an independent repair company.

The technician who repaired my chair for $175 said he cannot get parts from La Z Boy, they won’t return his calls, and they essentially have no service department. His opinion was that the broken part on my chair had never been attached to begin with. Beware of this company.

My Lazy Boy electric recliner foot lift broke the middle of September 2022. This is the second time this foot lift on this recliner has broken and it is due to a small plastic part that raises the leg rest up.

The first time a lazy boy service center repaired the chair in Mobile Alabama. Apparently now they sub the repairs out. Have been trying to get this chair repaired for two months and seem to get the run around with the company they had me contact and the customer service with Lazy Boy.

The chair is not much good like it is. There should be a better and faster way to get repairs

We own 4 LazyBoy Recliners! One has a problem with the foot rest! It is stuck in the up position!

My issues is …. In the last week, I have called your customer service number(s) 16 times! After the 1st five calls, I spoke with a helpful young lady who told me to get my ACK number off the chair and call back so a repair case could be established. I did that. I called back after 7 calls and what seemed like an hour of music in my ear, I was connected to a voice mail and told to leave a message…after 2 days, no one has called back! My new 'Joel' rocker recliner is broken for the 2nd time since it was purchased less than four months ago on 27 July 2022. The technician came out, tightened a nut but completely missed the fact that the wood in the footrest is splintered.

I purchased this chair on 27 July 2022 with the extended warranty and so far it has been nothing but garbage service.

Lazyboy standards mean nothing, the wood in the footrest is particle board and parts of the frame are particle board. Complete waste of money and definitely not worth the price tag for such inferior materials and workmanship. I will never buy another chair or sofa or piece of furniture from Lazyboy ever again. Lesson learned!

I purchased 2 lazy boy chairs on September 10, 2022 at the Lacey, Washington Store. I picked out a second stock chair that I wanted a swivel put on the bottom. I was told by the sales associate that it would be out for delivery mid November.

I called the store to find out the status of my delivery and was told it would probably be delivered in mid December. I am extremely unhappy with that timeline. I feel that the sales service at the store, Customer Care and most likely this complaint form offer no satisfaction.

very poor customer service. i needed some furniture that could be delivered by a certain date due to some upcoming surgery i had coming up. i explained that to the clerk when i entered the store. she inducated thae that was not going thto be a problem.

The rocker recliner swivel chair I purchased on November 29 2022. Was delivered to my home November 3 and was not the right color. I went to the mesa Az store where I purchased it to see what can be done.

I purchased a recliner a couple of years back in Islamabad Pakistan from a store called Style and Comfort, claiming to be dealers for L-Z-Boy in Pakistan. The recliner developed issues with the foot rest about a month back and is dysfunctional since then.

I have called the local store and the main dealer in karachi several times but nothing seems to come out. During all this time they promised to send a technician and get the recliner checked but that never happened. Am fairly frustrated with their service.

I am not sure if it is a problem with the Pakistani sellers or the over all service provided by the company is bad! Would some body be able to help?

Poor customer service. Forces you to call a Comfort Care number that puts you on hold for up to 30 minutes or longer. I don't mind being on hold for an extended period of time, however being FORCED TO LISTEN TO HARD ROCK LEVEL IRRITATING MUSIC THAT WOULD GRATE ON ANYONE"S NERVES IS ENTIRELY UNNACCEPTABLE.

I purchased 2 chairs and a couch from the Cedar Rapids, IA store in September. When picking up they were both damaged not once but twice. I was informed when they are shipped from the Chicago warehouse they are not boxed/covered for any protection.

This is a very disappointing experience when you spend good money on what you thought was a quality product. I am super nervous what shape my couch will be in when it finally arrives in November. For reference I contacted a non corporate store in Davenport, IA and all their orders come boxed and protected to their location.

This is the worst furniture I’ve ever bought. I cannot tell you how dissatisfied I am with this sofa. I ordered it and after 10 months it finally arrived. The right sofa arm had a lump in it. After many calls and run arounds and no-shows from the service technicians, they finally showed up (been 2 years of run arounds now).

There was trash left in the sofa arm from the factory. There was a board that was in the arm close to where you would sit that had torn padding and it was just stapled down. The board would dig into my ribs.

So the technician “repaired” the arm while my husband was home and now it looks equally as bad. I think I’m going to try one more time to get it repaired. But I WILL NEVER EVER buy from la z boy again. EVER!!!

We bought two chairs at the Pembroke Pines store in Miami a little bit over a year ago. The parts are still under warranty. One of the chairs got "frozen" in the extended position and we had to slide and crawl out to simply get out of the chair.

Even the buttons on the right side don't work anymore. I called your customer service number 4 or 5 time and get nothing but put on hold after entering my zip code. Why can't we simply talk to someone and setup a service call?

Our dealings with Lazy Boy in Richmond has been an extremely disappointing and frustrating experience. From the beginning to the very end, the entire transaction has been fraught with Sales Staff mistakes and the Store Manager's refusal to accept those mistakes.

1) Our frustration started with unexpected delivery charges ( $250 per delivery, with multiple deliveries due to supply issues) that were not included in the invoice, nor explained at the time of purchase.

I have been trying to find and order a power cord for a recliner that was lost in a move. I have called - numerous times - sitting on hold for more than 30 minutes. I filled out a contact form twice, and did get a return call once from a representative who promised the parts department would call me back within 2 days.

Purchased 2 recliners 2021 - 6 months for delivery 11/21... then after 4 months of usage a part that required 2 welds had 1 weld & broke, chair unusable as the broken part was the metal frame. Called for warranty 3/22.

I would give zero or minus stars to this corrupt and cheating company. I ordered a sofa, a love sweat, and a chair in one day then canceled my order the second day without receiving any furniture still they charge me $26 for the cleaning kit that was already paid for ( I have the bank statement), and

keep charging me a late fee to be $56 when I noticed everything. I called them complaining about that and asked me to call another corrupt company that deals with their financial transaction with no help. My credit score was affected and noticed that when all this happened.

I ordered a custom James power recliner during Covid. It took months to get it, and I have repeatedly try to talk with comfort care and I’ve been on hold for hours. When I finally got through, the cushion that is in question isn’t covered because nope it’s over a year.
