When I scheduled my appointment , I advised that I was on Medicaid Insurance. They asked who my insurer was and I told them: Paramount Advantage Ohio. They said that my visit was covered. Upon arriving today (6/12/20), I was advised that I needed to wait.

I waited for 45 minutes and was finally taken back for an eye exam. I was told I did need glasses and a prescription was prepared. I asked which glasses would be covered by Medicaid and I was tI would have to pay for the glasses and frames.

I told her if I had the money, I would not be on medicaid. She handed me the prescription and turned and walked away. I asked why no one told me that ONLY the exam was covered? I should have been told this on the phone at the time the appointment was scheduled. I WAS NOT.

I Bought glasses wore them 2 weeks called told them they were not right. went in they said they would try to adjust them another week and called and told them not liking the lenses and was told would take time to adjust to them so

i just wore my old glasses now they are saying 30 day was over would have to pay for new gasses with a different perscription i would have to pay again. if they would have just checked my eyes again it would have been found that wrong perscription was given the first time and would be done then they give me my old lenses as he said i should take them becouse i already paid for then.

I visited the Lenscrafters on 12/14/19 @ the Colorado Mills Mall in Colorado. They assured met that I would receive a text message to let me know that my glasses were ready. I paid almost $500 for these glasses ahead of time and their answer to me when I called yesterday was, "there must have been a glitch in the system; we texted you on 12/20/19. I never received a text, no follow up text, no phone call . . . nothing.

This is unacceptable to me. I want to talk to a corporate executive about this. They are giving Lenscrafters a bad name.

Very disappointed and feel very taken advantage of by Lenscrafters. I purchased insurance for my daughter's pair of glasses, thinking that would be a great idea. About A week ago, we ordered a new pair of lens at LensCrafters Mall of Georgia in Buford, store ID 10-90.

I was called on Friday, 10/4 to pick up the new lens. I went to the store for the swap, and they told me it would be approximately 2 hours for the cutting of the lens, and I would receive a phone call when they are ready; No problem I can browse the Mall for a couple of hours.

I never received a phone call that night, so I decided to go home and wait until the next day. I go in the next evening around 5 pm, rep pulls them out of an envelope, and tells me it would take 2 hours to cut.

I ordered a pair of prescription glasses at the Lenscrafters at 2770 Broadway, New York, NY 10025 in mid-August, and I had a horrible experience for the past month. It took them more than a month to make my glasses.

I wanted to get an update from Lenscrafters, but every time I called Ray (the salesperson who helped me), his ignorance and excuses made me in bad mood for the whole day. He said they would give me update, but he never called me back.

After 25 days, I was so upset that I wanted to talk with the manager. When the manager looked up the order, she told me my order was cancelled for unknown reason! She helped me to place the order again, which took another 10 days or so.

My husband and I went in for exams and to possibly purchase eye glasses. He needed readers and I needed what I thought would be progressive lenses. The doctor's exam was fine, we had no complaints (although they forgot to dilate our eyes).

My husband received his glasses the same day and my were to be done within the week. My husband got his home and he noticed that the prescription was not throughout the lens. When my glasses came in he went with me to talk to them about it.

Mine were indeed progressive and I purchased the tier 3 (highest level) lenses. When I decided to go with the highest tier she said I would have no complaints and will not even notice the unclear area on the lens in my peripheral vision.

On 4/29/2019, my husband and I both went to Lens Crafters for the first time. The employees were very kind and knowledgeable. We got our glasses in about 7 days. 66 out of pocket, because I wanted the best glasses that I could get.

I had mine for less than 30 days, if I remember right. They started showing signs of "stress cracks". I went back and was immediately ordered new lenses. After about 2-3 weeks, this pair started showing the same signs. I went back and they apologized and reordered another set.

The same thing happened to these glasses. This is the 3rd pair at this point. I again had to come back for the 4th pair of gasses. This time they sent them to an employee that had been with the company for several years for her to cut the lenses.

Ordered and paid for a replacement hard contact on August 6. After 2 weeks I called a couple times, went in person asking where it was. Was told it takes a while, checked should be here in a couple days.

In March 2019, my husband and I purchased new glasses. In late August this year my husband's left lens crack across the top half of the lens. We believe that it was a stressed fracture and not due to neglect on our part.

He mainly worn them to the bathroom and placed them on the counter, afterwards when he put them back on there was a crack.

Moreover when we contacted our local store at the Harrisburg Mall we were inform both in person and recently per a phone call; that there wasn't anything they could do other than we purchased new lens. We believe that first of all since we are good standing customer of your company at least the lens should be replaced.

On March 4, 2019 my mother who is 87 years old went to have her vision checked at the Lens Crafters in Livingston, NJ. 00 dollars. Upon receiving her new glasses and upon wearing them for awhile she kept complaining that she was having problems seeing and reading with the new glasses.

After awhile she was then taken back to Lens Crafters in Livingston to have them checked. Upon them checking the glasses and her complaining, she was advised that there was no issue on the prescription reference to her new glasses.

I went to Lenscrafters in cville see receipt to purchase prescription glasses. I was attended by Judi Harlow. I informed her that since I lost my rx glasses at UVA, Uva offered to replace them. I wanted to get the same frames as my sunglasses which were available on the Oakley website.

The frames are called lizard2 see pics and I have three of those in different colours. Two in Tx glasses and one without Tx. The salesperson said that I could only buy a frame that was currently in their showcase and was extremely adamant about it.

I visted the lenscrafter inside the Macy's in Yonkers. When I got there I stood un front of the workers. One was with customers, the other wasn't. The looked up from his cellphone then looked back down without saying anything then proceeded to have me stand there for like 20 minutes.

My mother walked over and asked if he's not working to which he replied "yea I'm working". At that point I was livid because he said he thought I was waiting for the other customer. I'm not sure how that would've been possible seeing that I walked over while she was being helped by the other representative and at no point did he see me communicating with her.

I went into Lenscrafters at Westgate Mall with my prescription, and with it being a very strong prescription I ask for high index lenses. I was told that I could only get a polycarbonate lens which I did not completely believed to be true.

But being told this I ordered them anyway. The next day I was called and told that I could get hi index lenses but I would have to pay a $255 difference for something that was not my fault in the first place when I could have just ordered them to begin with.

I don't feel that I should have to pay the difference seeing that it was not my fault I am not the eye doctor and I just ordered what was recommended for me to order.

Yes, I order my prescription glasses and when I got those they didn't have the larger nose guard that's real soft so I had to get another pair well when I got that pair apparently they're too small for my head and they squeeze on the side of my head and give me headaches so I go back and show him the difference in my previous glasses they said well you've already had an exchange you have to pay $50 for another pair so

I just got screwed out of a pair of glasses I'm not paying 50 more dollars I already paid over $300 and I haven't even been able to wear them oh, I'm sorry that's just not right

My prescription is wrong. I’ve been getting severe headaches. Come to find out it is all due to my prescription. The optometrist screwed up and made my glasses way to strong. I figured this out by wearing contacts that are set to my old prescription.

I wore them for a good 2 weeks while on vacation. The headaches disappeared. My mother in law who is a physician assistant told me that it’s definitely the glasses causing the headaches. Sure enough, I go back to wearing the glasses after my vacation and the headaches start to occur immediately following the use of the glasses.

UPDATE -

After ALL that I went through (see previous review), I just found out just now that Lenscrafters CHARGED MY CARD TODAY!!! The AUDACITY!!!

I was ASSURED that my order would be canceled, and that was on 6/7/19! I demanded confirmation and they said they couldn't provide any but that a supervisor would email me. No email ever arrived.

Today, FIVE WEEKS after placing my order, they charged my card!!

Needless to say, I am filing a dispute with my FSA. They are now aware that Lenscrafters should not have charged me and should not be paid.

THIS IS THE ABSOLUTELY WORST EXPERIENCE WITH ANY BUSINESS ANYWHERE THAT I HAVE EVER, EVER, HAD!

I'm warning everyone now: STAY AWAY FROM LENSCRAFTERS. At least from their online store. And I'd stay away altogether, knowing what I do now.

I went to pick up my glasses at the Lenscrafters store in Mt. Juliet, TN on 6/8/2019, which I had purchased 9/23/2018. I was informed by the sales rep that "I" had picked up my glasses on 10/21/2018. I have NEVER picked up those glasses by they were insistent I had.

On May 17th, just over 2 weeks ago, I placed an order for a pair of prescription eyeglasses. I uploaded the prescription from my doctor in order to make it easier (and quicker, since I'm having issues with my contact lenses and NEED my glasses) for LensCrafters to fulfill my order. LC asks for "5-7 business days" to process an order, and then for you to allow time for shipping. No problem. I'm thinking that I'll probably fall closer to the 5 days since I uploaded my script and they would not need to go "chasing" it from my doctor. Either way, if it took 7 days, that was fine too, since they gave me that notice in advance.

Fast forward to Thursday, May 30 - It has now been exactly 9 business days (not including the holiday on May 20th) since placing my order, and, as it does every day…

On the first visit Dr. Carlos Sanchez, O.D, PA in Estero, FL. performed an eye examination on 5-21-19.

During my eye examination Angela brought me back to begin the prescreening prior to the doctor examination. During the doctor exam the doctor went very fast at the point I said you are going to fast for me. He also informed me the pressure test was not recorded by Angela. So he needed to put drops in my eyes since there wasn’t a pressure test recorded. On 5-25-19 I went to pick up my glasses. We both are retired scientists visited LensCrafters store in South shore plaza, Braintree, Mass. My wife has advanced Parkinson disease, she is disabled and was in a wheelchair. She tried couple of frames, and left them back where they could be visibly seen and left.

Store Manager (Matt) ran after us we were still in the store and was inquiring where the frames were? Her colleague called him up to tell him, she found the frames. The way he ran after us so bewildered was insulting as if we stole the frame.

My wife and I had been doing business with LensCrafters for a very long time and will not go back to do business unless Matt apologize. Thank you .

Let’s start with the staff is very nice but my last experience is less then ideal.

First I scheduled an appointment for me and my daughter online. We showed up for our appointment and they said they couldn’t examine her because she was only 4. My complaint was then why did you allow us to confirm the appointment?

The system asked for her birthday so they already knew she was only 4.

Secondly I have been going to this location for years. Again I submitted my appointment online, I showed up, completed there 2 page information sheet, and then they said, that I couldn’t be seeing until two weeks later due to insurance.

Ok great, but why didn’t you tell me beforehand. Fast forward... I came back two weeks later, the 2 page document I completed had been misplaced or destroyed, they couldn’t…

Broke my glasses while out of town. Came in and found my glasses could not be repaired. My RX was old and got an exam. Ordered 2 new pair of glasses (regular and sun glasses). Said order would be in the same day the following week.

They came in 2 days late. When we went to pick them up the RX was wrong on one pair of glasses. Sent them back and again said another week. Went today to get them and they were not there.

I have to head home in the am. Tried to purchase the one pair but was unable to get the price I was quoted because I was no longer getting 2 pair. I ended up not getting any. A big waste of time.

I would not recommend LensCrafters to anyone.

I purchased my new lens on April 16, 2019 at you Avon, st store. The lenses where put into a frame that I purchased from you in 2010. I got the new prescription on June 7, 2018. It was upgraded to my present ones, which paleo purchased from you i 2013.

The new prescription is worded then my present ones. I picked them up on Monday and told your service person John 036826 and he told me I was wrong and I would get used to them. Well if being blurry is the norm, I don't think so.

It is unfortunate that Dr. Nelson in Sedalia, Missouri has inept office staff. I was very upset to learn we had to switch doctors yet again due to “networks” but relieved when I met Dr. Nelson. I have been called “Honey” and “Doll” far too many times, sorry, my name is ALENA.

I looked past the degrading customer service because Dr. Nelson is compassionate and helped me through a tough time while MS was degrading my sight. Every time I came in, I made sure they knew this was Medical, should be billed to my heath insurance.

I was never asked for a co-pay and was a little concerned when I made the 4 appt in 3 months and made sure to say, this isn’t for glasses, but medical so Tricare will cover it. When I came in today, I’m told I needed to pay for the visit upfront because they don’t bill…

On March 16th I entered the store at Lacumbre Plaza Santa Barbara, Ca. I had a script and ordered my glasses I was told it would take a week to receive them back I explained I would be leaving on the 19th for Kansas they said the glasses could be sent to Toepeka Ks lenses Crafters they would call as soon as they received them which never happened they sent via ups snail on 24th March didn't leave ups till 25th scheduled to arrive May 1 in ks we had to call for tracking number they didn't bother calling and

Been using this office for over 15 yrs never a problem until Manager Andrew worst customer service ever!! Ordered glasses and was NOT satisfied also case was so big i asked for smaller he said we have none decided to order different pair and paid upgrade after a week no one called I called they said ready went in to pick them up but

rushing cause husband in car after surgery went home and realized they were original glasses just put in smaller case i called back to ck to see if mistake but upgrades never ordered!! As ii see it Lens Crafters is nothing but a source of income for sales people that do not want to fix a problem but want to sell u more glasses I purchased a pair with scratch resistance and a coating to change to sunglasses in the sun. Less than a year they failed and the coating was looking all scratched i went to the Lens Crafters in Fairview Hts IL and was told there is nothing they could do but sell me another pair.

I just walked into one of your stores in Joplin Mo. and wanted me to schedule a appointment. I do not live in Joplin and i do work and a single parent so weekend is the only time i have to do our eye exams .

We buy all of our glasses at Lenscrafters. We were recently told for the second time that the frames we purchased could not be repaired due to the fact that the screw by the temple broke off. This is the second pair this has happened to.

We are being told (again) we have to buy new frames and lenses because this problem cannot be resolved. Obviously the question we ask is why does Lenscrafters not have a way to fix this. Yes I talked with someone in your lab and they explained the situation and the tool that they have to try to fix this.

Needless to say it did not work. Paying over $1500 for three pair of glasses because of a small screw is just not acceptable. The frames our daughter has are no longer offered. Same as before. It seems you need to be aware of this problem and either…

Purchased sunglasses. The frame an color not in stock. I ordered based on the verbal agreement I could get them darkened tint at the location. 00 — and that amount was charged to my credit card. Three days later I am told that the original order was lost and my order was cancelled.

No explanation and the sales associate did not understand the explanation, either. They lost the original order and that’s my fault. I have expensive pair of sunglasses that are not sunglasses. I am very dissatisfied with the service of Lens crafters.

The Doctor who did daughters eye exam was extremely rude. He seemed very annoyed like he did't feel like working. Dr. Michael Chin called my daughter for her exam did not greet us or introduce himself like MOST DOCTORS do.

During the exam my 10year was asking a few questions and his responses were very short and stern, he cut her off continously not even mid sentence as if her questions did not matter. Beyond disgusted with this place, after the exam my daughter felt so uncomfortable that she did not want to look at glasses from lens crafters.

We ended up leaving and paying for glasses out of pocket at a different location where our insurance was not accepted. I will never again bring my daughter to this place, i would prefer to pay out of pocket instead of dealing with terrible doctors…

Hello last year May I purchased My Glasses from the Lens crafters in Fairlawn Ohio at the Summit Mall as I have been doing for the last 8 years or so. 00 or so Dollars, when I left the store the glasses were off but I didn't think anything about it because I said they are bifocal so maybe I just need to get use to them .

00 on 12/14/2018 and saw the eye doctor at that location. When I received my glasses I could not see out of them at all. I was then given another eye exam and it was found that it was the wrong rx and they replaced my glasses.

The new ones came in and I still could not read but could see distance. The doctor told the lady from lenscrafters to check the dots on the glasses. She did and decided they were wrong and sent my glasses back again.

To whom it may concern, My Name is Demeita Gamble and I use to be a big fan of LensCrafters until January 2019. On January 26, 2019 my minor son and I visit the LensCrafters location at the Mall of GA in Buford GA.

91 out of pocket after insurance. A week later I called the store to check the status of my frame purchase after not hearing from LensCrafters. On that date I was told by Marcie (floor Manager) that the Rep Jade took my money but did not order my frames.

Of course I was not happy. Marcie was very apologetic and stated that she will make sure that the order is placed. When I went back to LensCrafters for the second time. My Versace frames were not back but, my son frames were. Jimmy (Rep) assisted me.

I purchased frame & lenses June 2018 & extremely disappointed in them. I have purchased my last few prescriptions from Lenscrafters (Ft Myers) & been pleased. I moved to Lakeland & tried Lenscrafters and am very disappointed. The glasses hurt my nose & every time I go in they say it’s the nose pieces.

The nose pieces have been changed 4 times & the problem continues. The left lens falls out & the lenses are absolutely impossible to clean, with your lens cleaner that I also purchased. They smear & stay foggy continually. I sincerely hope there is something you can do.

I am on a fixed income and eye glass purchases aren’t cheap. I look forward to hearing from you. By th way I went to your location on S Florida Ave in Lakeland.

Store #2330 Location: Woodbury Commons, Harriman, New York 10917. I'm a senior citizen 73 yrs. old. Appt. 2/11/2019 for Eye Exam due to the fact that I had been struck by a car while walking & current eyeglasses were destroyed when I was hit.

I called prior to going for appt. and confirmed that the necessary PD measurement would be done at the time due to the fact that I wear PROGRESSIVE lens. Upon arriving, I was interviewed by JAMES & I again asked before I would have the exam that a PD measurement would be available.

He stated, YES, but didn't what it was or how it would be done but to speak with the Dr. Are you sure, it will be done, yes. I was seen by the Dr. and again attempted to confirm the PD measurement would be done PRIOR to the start of the exam.

I purchased a pair of Tiffany sunglass frames. I took them to Lenscrafters on 1/21/2019 to order the prescription lenses. My salesperson was Kerry. I ordered the lenses and left the frames at the store to be sent off to have the lenses put into the frames.

I never received a call informing me that my sunglasses were ready so, I stopped by the store on 2/10/19. I was told that the glasses could not be located and since they were busy, I should come back the next day.

I returned to the store on the next day, 2/11/2019. They checked the system and confirmed that there had been a delivery for me. They looked for the glasses and told me that they were still not able to find the glasses.

I was told that they were probably lost in shipment and that a new pair would be covered by the store. I…

I went to the Lens Crafters in East Cobb- Marietta Georgia and the experience has been terrible. The associates were terribly rude and clueless. On our second visit in - the staff was very rude and one associate was eating dinner at the desk while we were waiting.

We ordered glasses and asked that they be shipped to another Lens Crafters out of state and we would pick them up there (kid in college). 00 glasses- then they told us it was a system error and that they were in route to the other store.

When we called the following day they were to be delivered- the East Cobb store said they did not have the address to the other store and would we please call back with the manager name and address??? This has been a total nightmare- I will never do business with Lens Crafters again and we will…
