On 3rd of October when I tried to check-in online my booking was rejected so I called Russian Lufthansa office. I was told that on 1st of September I requested online to refund my return ticket which I never did.

On 23rd of August I called Lufthanza in Russia to change my ticket from 26th of August to the later date of 22nd of September. The fees that I was requested to pay were too high so I agreed to change to a later date than I needed, 4th of October, for 3305 Rubbles.

I also tried to complaint to Lufthanza representative about the previous flight (change of flight time, delayed flight, missed flight as a result of it) as it was recommended on the website but she rudely cut me off and told to request refund for the previous flight online. I was traveling to the Maldives this summer. It was my 40th birthday. As you know this is a big day! The day you official get old lol. Well I wanted to celebrate in fashion in one place I always wanted to go. I bought new cloths just for the trip as well as my partner. We proceeded to the airport checked in and I was greeted with airline representative. She then told us “we have short connection on your stop over” , Tagged the bags short connection and we went to the gate. It’s no big deal.

Respected Sir, This is Dhruv Thapar again who has been completely given wrong information by your customer service representatives. Around 48 hours back I blocked a ticket with a changed destination from Mumbai-Frankfurt - Mexico with confirmation id KPJAIA and was asked to call within 24 hours to confirm the booking with an additional payment of $20.

However, when I called within 24 hours to confirm and pay for the ticket I was told that the difference in fare has increased to $263 and would have to pay the same. I made the payment of $263 by providing my card details to the representative and was told that I would receive a confirmation from the Lufthansa backend team within the next 24 hours.

Lufthansa have for the second time this year cancelled my flight less than 24 hours before departure. Despite the difficulty travelling during these times they think it's fine to just go ahead and reschedule your flight making extra stops after the period that your covid PCR test will not be suitable.

On top of that, they don't give you a rhyme or reason as to why it has been cancelled, 'flight disruptions' is all you get. And your accommodation plans and collection from the airport and all the other things you prepare for, nothing!

It is sickening how they operate and don't have any service to provide you with any alternatives. The first time it happened I booked privately and I had to cancel the booking (with only a 50% refund) so the second time I went through a travel agency and…

00 US dollar to reserved seats for me and my two friends. Our flight was cancelled and changed to another flight. We did not get the seat that we paid for. I had called your customer services trying to get the refund.

One time, the customer service representative told me she could not help me. The second time I called, the customer service representative hung up on me in the middle of the conversation. I never received such poor customer service like this before in all of my international flight.

I was told seat reservation was not refundable. What is the point of making the seat reservation and paid for it and not get it. Your customer services could hardly speak English so I don't see how they can service your customer satisfactory.

Yesterday on the flight of 2:00 pm to usa in Germany, My daughter of only 4 YEARS OLD started crying and she refused to put her seatbelt on(like every other kid of her age would). The pilot stopped the plane and got us put.

Me and my husband had to pay 700$ to stay in Germany for one night, and we had to pay for other tickets. Do you think the pilot actions were right? We feel so humiliated and so sad about what happened.

I escorted a brother of mine to your Lufthansa office in Lagos MMIA today 3rd August at about 7pm and I am completely apalled at the way pax were treated especially by the pathfinder staff. I believe that the elderly be treated with respect his attitude fell below standard.

A pax had his ticket canceled and was not informed by email or text but showed up at your office hoping to travel but having his hopes shattereda . Rather than apologize for keeping people waiting and standing outside the office, I saw them being treated rudely.

While pax may be difficult I still feel as as a Customer service Trainer and Leader, these people could be treated with a lot more decorum. I believe Lufthansa can do better than this given also that Nigeria is still a lucrative route for the organization.

I tried for my existing booking from India to Canada scheduled on August 9 There are rules saying I have to take pcr test before entering to Canada from outside India The only option for this is from Frankfurt but the airport medical agencies told me there is no options but the customer care of Lufthansa saying there is I called Lufthansa India and They told the bording will be denied but

I booked a flight via Frankfurt to Seattle (booking confirmation: QUOKSK) without prior knowledge that I cannot transit from Frankfurt as per COVID restrictions (I am from Kosovo so I can still travel to US on a tourist visa via non-Schengen airports).

Nowhere did the airline provide and direct information about this restriction. Though I realize it’s my fault for not double checking, please do not scam your future customers like this and at least give them DIRECT access to as much info as possible.

I don’t have 900 eur to lose now on a non-refundable ticket just because I was misinformed and nowhere was I provided with more information on COVID restrictions pertaining my case/nationality.

Please take the advice for other customers.

There is no way to get in touch with Lufthansa! Customer service 'hotlines' don't have any que system, one waits endlessly listening to a meaningless phrase being repeated over and over again 'Your call is important to us. ' its a scam! 45 min!

No wue number and no person to talk to. The chatbot is as useless as all of lufthansas personnel. They take your money and then disappear. Frauds!

I booked a ticket on Lufthansa from Toulouse to Delhi via Frankfurt. The booking reference is NGIMPB. First name Asmat Begum, Last name SHAIK. I am a first-time traveller, aged and not very comfortable with travelling. I am also diabetic and asked for wheelchair assistant.

When i checked in Toulouse, i was surprised that i was issues boarding pass until Delhi (my final destination) and i was asked to collect the boarding pass in Frankfurt. This is a shocking experience for me specially this is a ticket I purchased directly from Lufthansa and i do not understand why i was not issued the boarding pass.

I have few of my fellow passengers who were issued the boarding pass but not me.

Can you please give me proper reason for this.

The customer service in Munich were rude; unprofessional and shows absolutely NO compassion in assisting to get my cellphone from the plane which I just got off. Their attitude and actions were unsatisfactory and reflected a very poor image of LUFTHANSA.

I would not recommend flying LUFTHANSA to anyone. I will also change my upcoming travel plans NOT to fly in LUFTHANSA. The personnel at the Munich customer service are in NEED of much training on service related interactions when dealing with customers.

This was the WORST experience.

I just got off the phone with one of your agent about our travel vouchers of a flight that was cancelled due to Covid. Here are two issues that I want your attentions: 1) Information that was provided to me by the agent about the value of the vouchers: They are much lower than the original issued amount. For a year and a half now i have been calling Lufthansa to get a refund on the flight segment from DEL to EWR. I had return booking on the flight that was cancelled by Lufthansa in March 2020. Please help.

Since March 2020, I have made several calls to Lufthansa and each time I am told "the refunds dept is working on it" or the "Ticketing department is working on it". Good day ! On Monday, May 23rd, I bought a flight ticket on Lufthansa website, that was supposed to leave Tel aviv to Munich (LH683) at 7am. On that evening I also tried to check in before the flight ( around 23:00 pm) and it was again written that flight departure is 7 am on May 24th.

But when I arrived the airport at 5 am there was no flight, no counter, no one to talk to. Only the info on tel aviv airport told me that it wasn't even scheduled for 7am!! I spent half if the night, spent 300 shekels, went back home and came back again to the airport for the flight of 15:30.

Why didn't Lufthansa call me or write me an email or texted me on my cell phone????? How come one buys a ticket but the time of flight is completely wrong ??? I'd appreciate an answer. Mordi

If I could score minus stars I certainly would. I checked in on 5/15/21 to fly from DFW to Florence via Frankfurt. Ravi, an Indian representative began checking my documents. I was informed that my Covid test was unacceptable as although it was 48 hours it was not 48 hours from landing (never was I told of this stipulation).

He then sent me to an offsite clinic to get a fast test which cost me $275!! I returned with test and was then told I still could not board as I didn’t have a visa !! If Ravi had done his job properly, he would have told me that before I had to get an Uber with 6 pieces of luggage, to pay 275 for a rest I didn’t need .

At no point did he apologize or even treat me with any empathy. I saw at least 3 passengers reduced to tears at check in with how the desk team were…

I am in the middle of moving back to the United States after 4 year of in Belgium and this was the first trip to make arrangments for my new living quarters and bringing already personal items to leave, so that I don't have to ship so much and that on my final flight, at some point mid-summer (late July, early August) I don't have to bring so much.

I departed Rdm, Oregon on 12 April by United Air to Denver, Colorado, before boarding on to Lufthansa aircraft to Frankfurt, I presented my covid 19 vaccination as well as up to date rapid covid test results to Lufthansa employee, boarded on the aircraft without any problem and flew to Frankfurt.

At Frankfurt airport I was supposed to catch Istanbul bound Lufthansa flight. The problem started there. My wife and I purchased tickets to fly to Greece on July 21st. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic and Greece denying access to anyone from the United States, we decided to reschedule our flight for next year. I called Lufthansa and after 40 minutes was connected to an agent that I could barely understand.

I was told by the agent that I could reschedule but had to pay a fee of $320 per person. When I argued the fact about Covid-19 and that Greece had placed a restriction on flights from the US, the agent said that was policy.

I asked to talk to a supervisor. After another 15 minutes I was connected to a 'supervisor' who also I had a hard time understanding. The 'supervisor' said that he would give us a $100 incovenience voucher which I could use on the next flight.

On Sunday 19 January 2020, I left South Africa on Lufthansa flight LH577 to Frankfort. When trying to book in my luggage, the South African Lufthansa representative kept on asking for my German visa, because according to her I’m getting off at Frankfort and therefore need a visa. I kept on telling her that I’m getting a connecting flight from Frankfort to Denver, which is my destination. I showed her my US visa, but she kept on insisting that I need a German visa before she can process my baggage and booking. After a very long time she realized that I don’t need a visa and processed my baggage. I do not know if she had to consult her supervisor, but she definitely did not understand the process.

The connection of my flights did not work out and Lufthansa did a very bad job at booking. I flew from Munich to Chicago and then had to go through customs which absolutely did not work. I missed my flight for San Diego and there was no other flight that night. The day after I had to catch a flight to SD but then missed my flight to Hawaii because of this bad timing. I am 7 months pregnant and missed my own baby shower because of this bad planning, very sad. I request the reimbursement of my flight and compensation. I am not interested in having any kind of credits with this company and happy to provide with my bank account details.

This is so unfortunate... and hope next time you will make a customer happy!

I have been travelling for the first time on an international flight to Canada on a student visa. Frankfurt airport was one of the two stops I had on my journey. The person who was validating all the documents to issue a stamp on my passport for my further travel was very rude and behaved indecently.

I understand there was a document he was requesting and I do not have the hard copy of the requested document but had a digital copy in hand. Similarly as my first stop was at Mumbai airport, they have asked me to show the hard copy and as I did not have it in hand, showed them on my mobile and they have accepted it.

I called them all day and they said it will be here earlier and then around 9pm when the luggage didn't show up I called the carrier and they said that they just got the luggage and I will have it by 2 in the morning. My flight from frankfurt to lagos was delayed for over 2 hours unnecessarily. Pilot stated that it was delayed because the foods are not ready. This is unacceptable as it wasn't a natural disaster. Food is expected to be ready in line with the flight time.

I was supposed to be to caught up with luxurious bus going to kwara state at 7pm in order to attend my son's engagement ceremony on Saturday 03/08/19. Now l have to stay in an hotel in Lagos for tonight and likely to miss my son's engagement ceremony.

I was traveling from Ben Gurion TLV to final destination in Billund, Denmark with one layover in Frankfort Germany. Travel date 11/7/2019 PNR K63J2Y. Plane was delayed leaving TLV, which as a result caused me to missed my connecting flight from Frankfurt to Billund.

I am of 72 years old and dont speak any english, or german. I was forced to stay at the hotel overnight until the next day for the next flight to Billund.

Also as a result of this delay, I lost several perishable items I brought with me. I respectfully ask to be fairly compensated for the delay, stress, worry and lost irreplaceable items. Attached I am including copy of my Lufthansa Booking Code

My name is Sadeta I used Lufthansa flight from Belgrade Wed. Jul 10/2019 to Frankfurt, Germany ( FLIHGT 1407 Aircraft :321) in mine time the flight was late 40 min. so I miss another flight in five minutes because I didn't have enough time to get it . Everything vas going wrong I had to stay over the night to caught another flight which wasn't bed until I back to my city. So I am concerning, how to survive after I lost my job because I did not show on time that I suppose, my boos don't care that was not my fault, event I show him my ticket that my flight was change . I booled a flight from Izmir to iveland and it was 3 flights , the second flight was cancelked so they rebooked me 3 times until i finally got flights that would not be delayed after talkimg to around 30 people and calls i was assured my luggage was on the plane in all check in desks and servuce desks i was at between airports after the luggage got lost and i filed a report to find it i called to get help from baggage at lufthansa in germany amd they refused to help because one flight they redirected me to was not lufthansa .

I spent over a thousand euros for these flights and all booked with lufthansa and i got a refusal for help. I will never travel again with this company or recommend it to anyone . The person in baggage department in lufthamsa Germany obviously should not be in…

I was flying out on June 26th/2019 at 6:20pm from Toronto Pearson to Frankfurt . I came to check in and my bag was about 2 Kgs overweight and the check in person charged me $100 extra for the bag .

On top of it this individual also did not give me my second ticket for my connecting flight which means I had to run back to his desk to get it which made me delayed to get to my gate and put me under a lot of stress and pressure.

I find it extremely ridiculous that I had to pay extra $100 just for 2kg over the weight or else I would not be able to get on my flight . 2019. 45pm . , he assured me it would not affect any other of the flights I had or my luggage . 55am local time and proceeded to get my bags of the carousel which was number 7. after the 4 attempt waiting for the bags to arrive I hear a msg over a loud speaker calling my name & my friends name to go to Singapore airline baggage claim area where I spoke with a staff member who told me that my bags had not arrived , I was given a file ref number BNESQ33388.

Worst Customer Service Experience - I have booked a return trip from US to India, One of my domestic flight in India (included in the ticket) was cancelled. I have called several times and they didn't give me any alternate for that. After trip I asked for a claim for part of that journey, I followed up several time but no response. After long time I received 21.83 Dollar out of my approximate 1000 dollar ticket, are they kidding ?

Worst Service - Not reliable/ No way to discuss this issue over phone/ they don't respond about your submitted feedback. I will never use Lufthansa service ever.
