Macy's Credit Card services poorly designed customer, user interface seems to be a violation of UDAAP laws. Unbeknowst to the customer Macy's maze of confusion is a set up of several Credit Card profile pages for the same card and you only realize the importance and implications of each once Macy's punishes the customer. However, their profile pages are redundant in many respects, misleading and downright counterintuitive.

For instance, upon logging onto Macy's website you have several dropdown options that includes "My Account" followed by "Macy's Credit Card". If you click on My account you are taken to a page where the header states "MACY'S CREDIT CARD". If you scroll down you'll see the credit card icon that includes the last 4 digits of your credit card-x9239-the option to make…

Do NOT order anything from this company. They put you on a intermittent pending/processing auto deduction from your account and you never know when this will hit your account. even though the merchandise was canceled.. We are currently trying to fix this but never ever ever ever ever again Macys.

Every time I successfully place an online order, it cancels about a day later.

I've called customer support who have been unable to explain why this keeps happening. My account is active Roth an active credit card, why won't you complete my orders?

This has left a bad taste in my mouth and been extremely frustrating. I'll be contacting better business bureau and consumer affairs since my previous email complaints have gone unacknowledged and unanswered.

Please let me know what's going on and how to mitigate this.

I placed an order in November 2020. I still never received the correct item and it is now August 1, 2021. I called the company today again and they told me they will not give me a refund or exchange because their return date policy has expired.

Even though I called in February and still have never received the correct product. They billed me for the correct product and sent me something worth a fraction of the cost. Under the law I am not obligated to return that but I was willing to do so once I receive the correct item which again I still have not received.

Now they’re telling me there’s nothing they can do and I will not get my item plus they billed me

Walked up to the register at 8:56pm to return an item and was told that all registers were closed. "I don't think Macy's headquarters would appreciate this! As she is processing my return she is complaining. My printed receipt read 8:58pm.

I was done in 2 minutes! I was out of there before they even closed and could have done without her nasty mouth for the entire 2 minutes it took for her to complete my return! Just do your job!

For the ENTIRE TIME you are required to!

I ordered a $500 queen bed frame from Macy's on-line. It was shipped via UPS and UPS left it on my doorstep without my signature. It weighs around 80 lbs. I called Macy's and told them I couldn't carry it in myself and they told me UPS wouldn't be back for at least two days.

I told them to return it. Four days later it is still here. UPS left me a note that there were two packages and only one label. I called Macy's twice and they said they fixed it and they did not.

Macy's customer service was rude, lied to me and just transferred me back to UPS. I was so disgusted that I cancelled over $3200 worth of furniture that I ordered. You can't get a person when you call UPS customer service.

Placed order on line 6/24 2021 using my Visa. At check out they offered 20% off if I applied for Macy's credit card. Within minutes it was approved but never received it. Order never arrived. On 6/29 I contacted their customer care initially via chat line (APURIYA0 then on telephone (Banda).

4do the right thing by not selling live animals at their stores—then, share this alert with everyone you know! oz. and told me my original order no. Ended in 4199. He then had to contact credit dept. to get the 20% off.

After an hour log call I told him I could wait no longer and her assured me he would provide details of the order by email. NOTHING except a few days later I got a Macy's survey asking me about my INSTORE purchase the previous day.

I ordered a pair of men’s shoes size ten 3 separate times. Each time Macy’s customer service apologized and reprocessed my order. Each time I received the wrong size! I was on hold for half an hour to speak with a supervisor and was disconnected.

I called on line order. I orderd two pair of shoes. 86. I was charged three times. 86. No one could tell me why. I placed this order on 7/10. Three pending orders on my bank account. Pending till 7/13.

I have always ordered from Macys this has never a happen. No one would let me speak with a manager. 86 under that order #. I will never order from Macys again. You use to have employees that cared about the customer. Now you hire anyone.

Thats why all your stores are closing down. You need to check on your on line employees. Plus your employee and so call managers at brookmall in Birmingham. Never will step feet in this store again.

I purchased Rachel Ray pots and pans. The quality is awful. I've had them about 5 months I could be wrong. The outside color is blue. The blue color is coming off. I will tell other people not to purchase this product.

Incident: 210628-008885 The fabric on the mattress I purchased two years ago has torn in two spots and exposed the mattress' innards which are gradually leaking out. I purchased a warranty on the item but your mattress people tell me the fabric is only covered for a year and they cannot help me at all. Why won't they stand behind the goods they sold me? This was a very unsatisfactory response. I have been a loyal and considerable Macys customer over many years. I've been a Macy's customer with credit card for about 30 years. On June 12 I went into Macy store and used my license and social security number to charge since I didn't have my card. My social security card brought up the name of another Macy card holder (who i found out later opened an account about 2 months ago).

I was told I needed to open a new account, which I did, with that same social security number. The next day I did the same thing and my social security number brought up the name of the other person in your system.

Today I called your credit department to report this and to find out how this could happen and how to fix it. ). At the end of the call all I know is that it is reported, and i was told to get a credit report at a certain number. that took 30 minutes!

My Husband bought me a Jade Bangle for my Birthday last year from Macy’s On Metropolitan Avenue. This year the day after Mother’s Day I took it off my wrist and it slipped and fell out my hand and broke in 4 pieces.

Rude racist cashier at the lakeside location in Michigan name Suzanne was as nasty as can be and she showed her true racist character. I approach her to do a return and she slides my items over to Nancy as if she was disgusted to see a BLACK PERSON!! So I was baffled!!

Received the incorrect size spoke to a consultant Sunshine was her name and she was getting upset with me and even raised her voice at me. When I asked her why she is shouting she apologized and after the call I waited for the survey she refused to connect me told Me it’s not working and hanged up the phone.

Sadly in a horrible economical time staff still feel it’s okay to treat customers badly. Macy’s needs to review their staff and their customer service they provide.

, on May 1. This store is not that close to my house, but they closed the 2 other Macy's stores that were literally 3 miles from me in different directions, (downtown Sunnyvale and the Macy's at the Vallco shopping center, also in Sunnyvale).

I found several clothing items I was interested in, and wanted to try them on. There was only one fitting room open on an entire floor of women's clothing, and there was such a long line that I would have had to stand in line for at least a half an hour or more to try on my items.

I am a 78 year old senior with a bad back, so this was not an option for me. I ended up having to buy the items and try them on at home. Unfortunately 2 of the items did not fit me, so now I have to drive all the way back to the store to return my items.

My name is Monique Jones and today, Sunday, April 18, 2021 I went into the Capitola, CA store to do a return on diamond anniversary band that my husband purchased on 11-21-20 and gave to me January 9, 2021 as an anniversary gift. Hi, I brought 7 products from Macys during Nov 13 and 2 products during Nov 23. I have submitted the initial rebates on-time but somehow I didn’t receive the status on that, then I called customer service , they asked me to resubmit it again. I ordered two comforters and a pillow. My order number is 2054588331. Received the pillow and one comforter and didn’t get the Madison Comforter. Called to report the order and the agent asked to speak with my mom because the order was for her as a birthday gift.

Edward speaks with my mom and starts to drill her and tell her that she sons like me. My mom tells him that she was just released from the hospital and he continue to say she was lying and at this point she had my brother to bring the phone back.

I purchased a dress in December 2019. I was not aware of their return policy during the Coronavirus Pandemic. I contacted customer service and spoke with several managers at different locations and was advised that here was nothing that could be done. I couldn't get a full refund because it was too late to return the unworn dress.

I contacted Macy's today and was told by Nick (a store manager) that I could not return my dress that I purchased on December 18, 2019 because it was to late. I advised him that I was not aware of the return policy of 90 days and was not aware that I could have returned it during the Coronavirus pandemic..

undelivered package from Macys, unable to reach a live person calling customer service. Spoke with delivery people, UPS, as far as they are concerned my item is lost and they have referred me back to Macys to solve the issue.

When you cannot reach someone on the phone while having a problem, it is so frustrating! It would take all of 10 minutes for me to speak with a representative to correct my problem. Very disappointed in Macy's current customer service.

I ordered a few items from macys on-line last week. It was split into two orders by them. One package was delivered to someone across the country and one still has no shipping information. I tried to contact customer service, and was on hold an hour then disconnected.

Macys states they have 24/7 "customer service" - they don't. I sent two e-mail requests for assistance, I received a reply stating they are not helping customers via e-mail. I had to file a BBB complaint to get help with finding out what was going on with this order.

Received damaged furniture that was ordered online. No attempt to send a replacement part. Just told to repackage impossible) already built set. Was told if I didn’t do as they said I would not get a replacement. No other options and I was treated very disrespectfully by some one that should not be in customer service.

I could have purchased the same item for a lot less at other retailers but chose Macy’s thinking I would have no problems with my purchase or if I did they would provide prompt resolution. Boy was I wrong. I have been a loyal customer for ever and to get treated like this goes to show they only care if you give them your hard earned money and they don’t have to back anything up.

95 purchase and now our account is three months past due. 95 purchase and we never knew this was happening. We also have a Macy's credit account, which has a zero balance since we pay that bill as soon as we receive it.

The lady on the Macy's customer svc line claims that no paper bill has been sent out on the american express account since 2017. Some how I think there was a mix up and the Macy's email never went out or we just didn't get notified due to Covt19 and the associated delays. 95.

I received two night tables this afternoon 6/30/2020 via UPS. Box packages were left at my front door damaged. No one rang the doorbell although signature was required and products DAMAGED. I have been trying to get through to customer service for hours now & unable to speak to anyone.

Macy's needs to make arrangements for these damaged items to be picked up asap. It is a safety issue leaving large boxes like this in front of my home (could indicate no one is home). Outrageously long wait to receive a refund! Macy's received my item on May 15 and as of June 18 I still don't have a refund. " That is RIDICULOUS!! with nothing, not even close to as long of a wait as this.

you better reevaluate the way you treat your customers. We have many other options of where to spend our money. And "service" like this is absolutely unacceptable. I will be filing a dispute with my credit card company for fraud.

Returned item, which was received by Macy's on 4/27/20. Macy's website indicated returned item was received on 4/27/20 and return would be credited to my Macy's credit card within 3-5 days. It as been 3 weeks and I have not received credit.

I called the customer service phone number a few weeks ago, at which time the return was acknowledged and the customer service representative assured me the credit would be applied within 3-5 days of that call. It has not. It has now been 3 weeks since the return was received.
