I shop at the Fairfield commons in Beavercreek Ohio. I shop frequently at Macy's and Im starting to wonder why. I shopped at this location on 11/31/19 and on12/16/19 and it was the worse. On 11/31 I purchased baby items one of the items didn't have a price on it sales associate couldn't find so she wouldn't sell.

Was it put back on a rack or just discarded because no-one knew what to charge! Wasn't staffed stood in line ten deep because no-one could find anyone working at any other customer service areas. On 12/16 nine days before Christmas store was in a terrible disarray.

The shelves were a mess you couldn't find sizes on items because a lot of the shelves looked like they brought merchandise out and just dumped on the tables. Went to checkout and once again no help. When you could…

Placed a Order online 12-01-19 received a email 12-10-19 was on back order to January 2020. Called at 9am that same day to cancel order since it was a Christmas gift, hold of funds was supposed to be released in 24-48hrs.

48 Hours later item that was supposed to be cancelled and on back ordered magically ships. Again called that same day to inform them that I was pending refund and order was canceled. It was error and would be corrected first thing in morning with refund.

3 days later no refund, no email, call no nothing. Today at the Palmdale, CA Macy’s,thencashier by the name of Melanie was inattentive and crumbled my pants into the bag. She didn’t offer or advise me about any sales. I had to ask. When I showed her my coupon receipts for $40 she said abruptly that I couldn’t use it When I showed her I had a Macy honor card for $30, She said I couldn’t use it.

Even though I was told by the store customer service yesterday that I could use it on my next purchase. She was also abrupt and when she was done didn’t say thank you. She just asked for the next customer while I was still standing at the register.

I returned an order three weeks ago. I called this evening to check the status because my email from Macys state 5-10 business days for refunds for returns. Employee #91161891 stated that he is the Retail Supervisor and no one is above him.

He made very unprofessional and demeaning statements to me stating that he knows that ‘I need the money’. He begin to press the buttons on the phone as I was speaking to block what I was saying and eventually hung the phone.

I hope the call was recorded because I thought Macys trained their employees better.

I’m giving this complaint one star but I would give it 0 stars if possible

I inadvertently sent a Christmas gift to the incorrect address in N.C. When I realized it, it was too late to change the address online. I called Macy’s Customer Service and spoke to a gentleman who recommended to call back when the tracking # was issued so he could reroute my order. Since then I have spoken to 3 additional Macy Reps ( fictitious names I’m sure) who gave me different stories and still have no satisfaction. I called their customer service 1 800 289-6229 which is an outsourced # to the Philippines . When not getting accurate information I called Corporate @513 579-7000 which brings me to the same INCOMPETENT Customer service representatives. Macy's sent me $10 coupon for every $50 I spend. I received 2 $10 coupons. I use both coupons on 2 different transactions. Macy's confirmed the $10 was taken off and applied on their website.

However, in my bank account, they never took the $10 off on both transactions. Macy's took the full amount without the $10 credit. I called customers service (twice) and talked with foreigners who didn't speak English very well. And no managers were available.

Macy's are ripping people off. After you order online check your bank account. Do not download the Macy's App price is higher. Very dissatisfied customer!!!!

I gave 1 star because 0 was not an option! I placed 2 orders (4 items in total) on cyber Monday, 12/2/19. On 12/9/19 I received a large box at my post office. When I opened it, it was full of items that I didn’t order.

There were 2 tags inside. One was my order and the other was for the items in the box that belonged to a woman in Utah! I live in California! I Immediately called customer service and spoke to a man that I could barely understand.

He informed me that I had to take the box back to a Macy’s store! Not my mistake and yet I had to return the box to another town! Then he tells me 1 of the items was no longer available and he would issue a refund.

I have been a long time customer of Macy's. I moved two years ago. I did an address change with the Post Office, up to this point I haven't had a problem. I made some recent purchases from Macys. The bill was sent to my old address.

Therefore I didn't receive the bill, Macy's put on my credit report that I was 170 days late with my payment. Long time loyal customer but no longer. Spent three hours on telephone and email with customer service but no resolution.

Ordered three Xmas gifts to be sent to same address but only one gift received. Communication with three employees of overseas staff almost impossible due to their inability to communicate properly in English. Never received a return call from supervisor who was to sort things out.

Crossing Macy’s off my shopping list....plenty of other sources to purchase from. Just glad the one big ticket item was delivered in time for Xmas.

Will be cancelling all else and shredding their credit card. After all these years, it’s sad to see how far Macy’s service has fallen.

Awful experience and right before the Holidays!!!! I made a purchase online for a gift for my mother and was expecting it the week after. I keep checking my email for shipment notifications, but had not received anything. I thought well coming off of Black Friday, they are probably processing a lot and are a little delayed - I was very wrong.

I ordered some items on-line for a gift. Within 8-10 minutes after order was submitted I called customer service to change the delivery address. The representative repeated the address to me, I confirmed and ended the call. The next day I received a shipment confirmation email with the incorrect shipping address.

Actually only half was incorrect since the representative only update the city, state and zip. I called customer service again and asked them to cancel the order and place a new order to be sent to the correct address, but not to charge my account a second time.

I purchased a couch from Macy's along with a warranty. It was expensive but I love it and I was purchasing it from Macy's. I thought by purchasing it from Macy's I would receive a quality couch and service if needed.

I thought purchasing it from Macy's was a safe and wise choice. After all my whole family has shopped here for years. I don't have traffic in my home. There is nothing wrong with the couch. There is no damage.

The function for which it is made does not work. The seat is sinking. Macy's has said nothing except it is not covered. No solution, just it is not covered. How does that work? I have a Natuzzi couch that is 20 years old and I can still sit on it.

The couch purchased at Macy's is a few years old, still under warranty and I can't sit on it without sinking. SMH!

I am a Macy’s Card holder and have been for many years. However on this day, 9 December 2019 I came very close to closing my account.

I went to the Annapolis Mall in Maryland to do Christmas shopping. Of course I chose Macy’s to find a nice jacket for an upcoming Christmas party. Our gift to each other is to share the festive experience of being downtown SF for a day. My Daughter and I Christmas tradition of meeting at SF Union Square. My daughter is a flight attendant with her home base in Miami.

I leave my home in Folsom early in the am as it’s a two hour drive. Our highlight is to shop Macy’s Christmas department and enjoy Macy’s windows of pets to be adopted which was very special. The store was clean, organized, and displayed beautifully.

The disappointing experience was to visit the Christmas department . I expected the Christmas sales department being busy but the area was condensed into small isles wide enough for 1 1/2 person. It seemed the department was downsized and pushed into a corner of the store.

Early in September I went to Macy's at the Wellington, Florida location looking for bed sheets. A very nice and knowledgeable sales lady, Nancy, helped me. I have a split king and it’s difficult to buy sheets for this type of bed.

Nancy ordered the sheets and were shipped to my house, and I ended up purchasing the Charter Club, Damask Solid cotton standard pillow cases in stone, flat sheet in stone and the twin extra-long in white because the stone color was not available at that time. I was shopping on Black friday. The store was out of an item that i requested and the young lady identified it could be ordered from another Macy's 1hr away. I ordered the item. And it was shipped through UPSinnovations which transferred my Item to the local post office 4 days ago.

I bought my daughter 2 things for Christmas from last act. Then decided to return them and buy something else from your store. Your cashiers said I couldn’t get my card credited because I was 5 days late on your 30 day return policy. I was very mad.

It has been 10, 9/25/2019, weeks since placing my sectional sofa order over the phone with a representative sales check # 35238200. I had called on 10/23 to check to check status and was told that the sofa was delivered at the warehouse on 10/20 and I would be getting a call for delivery shortly.

I proceeded to clear out my living room and threw away my furniture on 10/25. My family has been without a sofa since then! I went to my local Macy’s on Black Friday and had a store clerk place an online order. When I got to my car I realized that I was over charged. I thought since I have spent thousands with Macy’s that the error could be fixed over the phone.

I called customer service and my original order was canceled and a new order was placed. Upon completing the order the representative then informed me that the item was no longer available. I told her that it showed available on the website still.

I called 866-593-2543 to discuss an address correction for billing and to discuss a late fee ( 2 days). The person I talked to could not speak English well enough for me to understand. Sadly, my ability to speak other languages is severely limited and so the call was a waste of time.

I then called 800-545-1256, and again experienced difficulty with trying to understand the rep. I was able, I think, top accomplish an address correction. But the discussion about the late fee was useless.

Also, there was a lot of noise in the background of both calls.

Macy’s in Cedar Park,Texas is the most horrible I have ever been. It is like a rummage sale. Clothes piled everywhere, you can’t find the correct brand. The last two times I went into the store I swore I would never shop there again.

I placed an on line order and I accidently duplicated the order. I called within 30 minutes, and tried to cancel the duplicate order. The customer service person did not let me explain what happen because I used a gift card on my order and I did NOT want to cancel the order with the gift card. She said it was not possible to cancel my order and to "hold my horses"!! This is unexceptable customer service from Macy's. If 0 stars were a choice, I'd pick that. The condition of your Saugus, MA store which I visited last night was horrific. Not only were you out of nylons that I specifically drove through traffic to get there and buy, it looks like animals had at the display. The few boxes that were there were torn open and strewn everywhere. I also needed a slip, but there wasn't a single salesperson available. I then ventured to Children's and same thing - not a soul around to help me. Upon stopping at the next register in the neighboring department and asking if there was someone who could help me in Children's, the saleswoman smiled embarrassed and said no.

Tried to place an on line order. Chose the pay pal option as payment. Charge of almost $200 went to pay pal, immediately. Then it threw me back to Macys to complete the order. Guess what? would not complete my order.

When I called Macys they informed me they do not accept pay pal!!! And speaking to customer service at Macys is maddening. Sounds like 25 people shouting in one room so it's difficult to understand and actually know which person is speaking to you.

Now, I have spent over 2 hours trying to straighten out a mess that Macys created and they act like they could care less. Well, that $200 order will go to another retailer. Very disappointed in what Macys has become.

This was my first time ordering online and it was the worse experience to say the least. I ordered a coat that guaranteed same day pick up as long as it was ordered before 6pm. I placed my order at 4:22pm and received a message stating that my order would be ready soon and that was all.

I have not received an email, text message, or a phone call about my order since it’s been placed! I am very disappointed! I’ve called the store several times and no answer. I’ve reached out to customer service just to be told there is nothing you can do and to “Just cancel my order”.

This coat was supposed to be a gift for my sons birthday tomorrow so THANK YOU MACYS for ruining my sons 8th birthday with your poor customer service and false advertising!

I get information that the package I paid extra to have derived in a day was delivered when alternate information shows it couldn’t possibly be delivered which chows it left New York at 10,41 tonight. It doesn’t specify eastern time and it’s not the time time specified here in the US and your Philippines call center wants too much of my personal information which I’m no comfortable delivering to them.

I was purchasing cologne at one of you macy's stores in fairfield, California at the Solano town center mall. I purchased 2 and my wife also purchaced 2 perfumes. I asked them for a couple samples to test and maybe find another cologne for my next purchace and they told me they didn't have any for me.

I got hired on as core in 2018. My job was to work jam during peak , toats non peak. Right as peak 2019 was beginning, I got bit by a dog , fractured my index finger, I went Into Macy's to show them and to ask for a leave of absence, the manager was on vacation , so

The consultant in a rude tone reply that his is busy with customer and I am not the only one here!! I was so disappointed that I walk away and I didn’t have chance to buy my earrings!! Tried ordering my Xmas gifts on Black Friday with a customer service representative on line. 1. The first person I spoke with for an hour and a half didn't know how to utilize a Macy's gift card towards my purchase She then entered the wrong address for where the Xmas gift was suppose to be sent.
