On Black Friday, a planned event, I stood at the expensive jewelry counter for 30 minutes trying to get a sales clerks attention. One said they didn’t know anyone’s schedule, another said she only worked another counter that was one foot away from the counter I was standing, and yet another said she only helped people with online orders.

I am vey disappointed with the lack of organization and planning. Very unorganized and incompetent on behalf of management. And, lost sales at a time when brick and mortar stores need to prove their wiorth.

I had a terrible terrible experience today at Macy’s in Valley Stream. I was purchasing Jewelry for my daughter as I got to the counter I dealt with Mary. At first she was nice but things took a quick turn.

I am an authorized user on my daughters Macy’s credit card account but did not have the card with me. I asked Mary to perform an account lookup and she got uneasy. I gave her my ID and typed in my daughters social.

We have the same address and last name as seen on the account look up but she still did not put it through. She made me do this three times and said it wasn’t working which was a lie so I asked to speak with the manager.

A manager named Pam came over ,she was very rude. Pam told me if I was truly an authorized user it would be working ,I was shocked and appalled that this…

I went to Starbucks inside of Macys in Kenwood Mall today and I ordered a vanilla bean frappuccino it was a large it had no flavor. Tasted like water/ when u go to a Starbucks inside a store for some reason the employees are not trained properly on making these drink and they charge like 50 cents more so I basically paid 5 dollars and 25 cents for water

I absolutely hate calling Macy customer service. Ridicules people who do not speak English and all they do is transferring! This was the last day I ever bought anything from them! I haven't been able to get online the entire day to place an order. I called the customer service line 1800-2896229 and I end up in the Phillipines and I can't understand anyone there and the noise is SO LOUD that you can't even hear each other.

I called three times trying to get them to fix my acct so that I could log on and place an order. I finally asked for someone in the US and they put me on hold FOREVER and then I ended up with a supervisor in the same place. NO THANK YOU MACYS!

I will just call Nordstrom. They have the same sale.

Register at the bedding department from 1:30 to 2:30. The cashier was tremendously slow and was unable to even bag. We stood in line for over an hour. It was painful to watch her. She wasn't even concerned!

My complaint is when calling customer service you are taken to the Philopeans. Most of the people are not familiar with your complaint ,it takes a long time to get verification .Meanwhile you are listening to lots of chatter ,half the time I can not understand what the person is saying and it is totally frustrating. I just cancelled my credit card account due to a 2.00 interest charge that froze my account due to non payment. Sadly I paid the account in full and then was charged the 2 unknowingly. I went to make a Black Friday purchase and was denied Customer service was unwilling to allow the purchase or wave the missed payment . I really wasn't worried about the $2.00 but the frozen account on and unknown interest charge is a discrace I asked that the account be reinstated to allow purchase and then I would pay half the purchase and the 2 immediately but was told sorry no you can close the account. Not good business for a good cardholder

This is not a complaint. I am unable to locate an online compliment site. I would like to commend Dan, the manager of the Macy's Lynnwood (Alderwood Mall) linen department with and resulting chaos and were approached by Dan who asked if we needed help.

After explaining what we wanted he immediately went to the storage room and got the item. He took the time to explain the general layout of the linen department which resulted in our purchasing more items. He was very helpful, pleasant and is a great positive reflection of the Macys culture. Thank you!

In the Burlington Massachusetts store the Womans dept is hidden on the 3rd floor behind the furniture dept in the corner. Cant even find it. The dept is a dirty sloppy mess clothes everywhere. No one in the dept to help or ring anything up. No selection of clothes.

I have been shopping here for years. Every dept should be attended to! Not just the regular size. Actually womans plus IS THE REGULAR SIZE. Maybe down size the Junior dept where not a soul shops in.

State Street Macys in Chicago. Two sales people were very rude. As we asked for direction to a certain designer area, the women walked out of a room in DKNY and kept walking and then said she doesnt work in this department and look over there (pointing in a direction that showed no nothing).

Other woman we asked for fitting room and she kept walking and said same thing pointing at a wall. very disappointed. We left store with our group of people purchasing nothing because of it. sad part is that the store just opened so staff already annoyed. dirty shame.

The stitching. After trying to decide if I wanted to spend $100 for a coat, I took a chance and purchased this coat in January 2019. When I received it, I stored it in my closet due to the unusual weather in Baltimore, it wasn't cold enough to wear it at the time.

I didn't have a reason to pull it back out until now, November 2019 to have it cleaned for the upcoming season. When I inspected the coat, I saw that it had a tear in the arm seam. I tried to exchange,not return, just exchange with the original receipt for another coat of equal value and was told that it was past the window of refund /exchange even for seasonal items.

This is unfair on so many levels because now I'm stuck with a coat,that I didn't want to spend $100 for in the first place, and I refuse to pay to have it fixed.…

Good evening, my complaint is the incompetence of your customers service in the Philippines. I called regarding a refund on Saturday 11/23/2019, and spoke with a gentleman that advised the refund will be back in my account 2 business days after receiving the merchandise.

That was fair enough, however today 11/26/2019 Tuesday, nothing. I called in and spoke with Florence in the Philippines. 29 and it will be 7-10 days before you receive the refund. I interject and told her the amount was incorrect.

She argued until she read the order further than agreed she quoted wrong amount. Now I’m questioning her knowledge regarding the refund time and suggested maybe she was wrong in her answer, therefore I ask to speak with a supervisor.

I purchased a king size mattress form Macy's and paid for the white glove delivery. But I discovered that I cannot use one side of my bed because the box spring is defective. The delivery service sent an inept person to check it, the supervisor hung the phone up on me and have not resolved my problem. I cannot use my bed. The salesman that sold it was asked to help me when I drove to the store but he had no time.

Upon receiving my confirmation email I called and of course I get someone in India, the rep confirmed all was correct but then canceled my order and placed another of the exact same item and charged me shipping which has reflected on my bank account. I have tried to get a real American on the phone to complain but even when I call corporate in NY they still give me someone in India.

I am done with Macy's will never visit a store or website again. Good luck America our jobs go to another country and we suffer in all areas. They ship out our jobs for lower pay and we have no other option but to accept it.

Hello, I bought a jacket for my son on 11/18/19. The zipper was broke. I took it back today to exchange or return. The Macy's in Manassas, VA did not help me. Ms. Ashlee the manager in charge said she couldn't help me because I didn't have the tag on the jacket and prove of if it was broken when I bought it.

She said "how do I know if you didn't break it" I explained that I have my receipt I just bought it she said no Macy's need the tag and prove. I didn't understand why she was not able to help me.

I purchased a seriously defective coat (the lining was sewn to itself). I called and ordered a return box and label and a replacement coat. the replacement came and NOW I have two coats, have paid for two coats (one defective, the other fine) and cannot get the customer service people to put my refund in the mail.

they won't send my refund until my original coat has been returned--- but they have yet to send me the shipping label. Three calls to speak to people who are quite difficult to understand and who struggle to understand my California English!

Today I went into your Palmdale, Ca store. I shop there all the time. I was there to purchase some men Cologne. There was a Hispanic or white lady helping me. At the time I was there, no one was in line.

Once I got my cologne, there was a white couple in line. Your employer told me ,step up sir your next. The man then said to your employees, No, she's next. She said, no once the cashier comes back she'll ring you up then her.

Very bad experience trying to place an online order. The online ordering interface would not work. I tried 3-4 times, then called the toll free number shown on the screen. The customer service person tried to be polite, but she was terribly hard to understand -- spoke with a heavy Indian accent -- and kept me on the phone for 20 minutes.

The phone connection was bad, and it was frustrating. 99). I had to repeat everything I said 2 or 3 times, and she kept saying her equipment wasn't working. This should not be such a big deal. How does Macy's stay in business?

Hi, We were at the Men’s Shoe Dept. at MACY’s, Washington Square, Tigard, Oregon today at approx. M. We selected a shoe and looked around for a sales asst. ) ran over from clothing, and offered to retrieve a pair from the storeroom.

There were two women employees on site who had ignored us. DeJahn helped another customer and returned to clothing, to assist other Customers. We asked each of the female employees for help in retrieving a pair of shoes, but each, although not busy, said they couldn’t help. TERRIBLE WORK ETHIC!

We’ll not return to men’s shoes. Such a pity that Macy’s employees’ service ethic has degraded so drastically. Tomorrow we’ll shop at Woodbury Company Outlet Stores. Always good service and selection.

On line with Macy's Cherry Creek Mall. Almost 14 minutes and counting. Holding for Lingerie department. The person who answered first spoke English that I could not understand -- sent me to the cosmetics department. Have been on hold with the lingerie department for 10 minutes ("just a minute please") .

And I am calling from France. Macy's will be the last store I will shop at in the future. After 18 minutes of holding, hung up and called again. This time was transferred to the handbag department after 9 minutes.

The salesperson in handbags transferred me to the lingerie department--but I got a fax shriek instead. " Macy's failed. Laughable if it wasn't such terrible service. In this case, not one star, but zero stars.

com with my bank visa debit card (bank in Canada). It got declined when I tried to pay. So, knowing I had the funds I tried a second time. Declined. This was two days ago. Today I saw two amounts debited from my bank statement for those two declined charges.

I called my bank who said I needed to try and resolve it with the merchant first. So, I called Macy's customer service (obviously in another country). I could not understand her and, even worse, she could not understand what I was trying to tell her.

I got transferred to the credit card department (I don't have a Macy's credit card) they sent me back. Same problem with next person. I got transferred five times. The last call I said firmly DO NOT TRANSFER ME TO THE CREDIT CARD COMPANY AGAIN!!!

62. I will also emphasize that I am never late in making payments. Last month I was taking care of a very sick wife. Is that a good excuse for being late, most likely not in the view of people that money means more than taking care of their 77 year old wife.

I pay all my bills electronically through my bank. In haste my payment to Macys was to be made on 10/8/19 however I typed 12/8/19 – my 2 is directly above my 0. When I realized my error I immediately sent another payment.

I can show you the bank bill payment. Frankly I believe Macys should review their payment policy. Charging $30 for a bill under $50 that was 3 days late to a person that does make a habit in being late is a good way to lose the customer.

Macys’ has sent me on 4 different occasions a pair of used shoes, when I have ordered new ones. The shoes are dirty and obviously used. The customer service team is no help at all. They can’t speak good English and are not always able to communicate properly.

When I ask to speak to a manager no one ever comes to the phone. The customer service tech either states she can’t reach the manager or the call is disconnected by the tech. I am a very loyal shopper.

But this is not acceptable nor is It right.

I purchased a quilt and shams online. Order#1750913056. The deal of the day was I would receive FREE set of sheets. When the quilt arrived no sheets were in the order. I just inquired to your LIVE CHAT with Mark Joseph M and he told me that yes that was the deal on that day, but they were no longer available.

For my wedding shower I received a handbag as a gift. It wasn't anything I would use so I contacted Macy's and got an address to return it to because I do not have a Macy's near me. I mailed it back and have receipts to prove it.

Since then I've spent months trying to contact someone to get my credit for my return. I haven't had any success. I sent copies of all my receipts to the corporate office and requested a signature. My letter wasn't returned, the receipt was returned to me but not signed.

I contacted the post office and they returned my money because the signature was never obtained. I am unable to scan my paperwork but if I am able to get an actual address, with a suite number so I can send this information again.

I am extremely upset by an incident that happened yesterday at the Eatontown Macy’s store located in the Monmouth Mall.

I have been a Macys customer for many years. Upon my wedding, I received a $200 gift card to Macys. This was in 2010. My husband and I decided to hold off on using the gift card until we were to buy a house and use it buy a piece of furniture from Macys for our new home. Wow. Have been struggling to pay these idiots the money I owe their damned credit card. It's virtually an achievement of sorts to accomplish this. I live in Canada. The easy option is to request my USA relative to pay the card balance. She tries online. Cumbersome. Visits the store and is refused because they want to see the actual card not a picture of the card. Can you believe this?

I visit the store and my Canadian debit card is not accepted at their archaic machines. I call the phone line to make a payment and they are unable to recognize the last 4 digits of my social insurance number.

I still don't understand why would any company require a social security number to ACCEPT money. Repeat ACCEPT not dole out money.

Is Macy's seriously making a case to obliterate itself?

My boyfriend and I were shopping for an engagement ring. We found the one at Macy's online every time we tried to purchase it they would email me that it had been canceled. So after a dozen times trying I went to the Macy's store and the ring was in the display case.

I ask the sales clerk to call and make sure it was cancelled and she did. So I purchased it at the store. But they still screwed up and sent me the ring. When I called them back they said there's nothing they could do because it had already been shipped.

00 until I get the ring and send it back. The worst customer service ever, and I even talked to a Supervisor. I will not be shopping Macy's ever again.
