Bought an item for $172 call right back within 30 minutes to upgrade my shipping one to the next day. They end up charging me $192 again so I had two purchases and my card declined because I didn’t have enough money for the two purchases, which is not my fault I only wanted to purchase one item then they end up canceling my item and making me wait 10 to 15 business days and when I tried calling them, they’re hanging up the phone in my face and they’re giving me false information

Never received entire order - delivery truck driver lied about delivery date, said they delivered on 1/9 - I called to complain and was given a new delivery dated of 1/31 - this was not recorded in a ticket but I kept the text messages. I paid $250 for "white glove" delivery and drivers refused to set up fireplace setting to ensure everything was there.

I had this delivered to my daughters home and my son-in-law witnessed the unloading of the boxes and asked if they were setting it up. They said "no, not our job" and left. I unboxed merch over weekend and am missing 3 chairs.

I attempted to "chat" with cust svc, they suggested I email. I emailed cust svs and they suggested I call. I called Macys cust svc and they are blaming me for not calling on 1/31. I am so angry at this point.

I recently lost my engagement ring for my fiance. In a haste I visited a NY location to replace it. I found a ring that was closest in style and price. I went through a third party for financing and found out today that I was charged $2,400 for a ring I picked out that cost $1,609.

$2,400 is the original invoice sent out for payment. I am appalled and your company should be embarrassed. This for of Consumer Fraud is unacceptable. I would like a call immediately to clear up this issue.

I bought a suit for my husband he never was able to wear it. 00 I had tags return label and receipt. The store I went to made me feel like a piece of dirt. My husband passed away in a tragic accident with my son due to someone driving drunk.

But I couldnt even tell the lady the reason nor should I have to! I never had an experience like this in a store. I will never shop there again!

Tonight at 7:30PM in Macy’s at Holyoke Mall in Holyoke, MA my 9 year old son was traumatized by an employee that yelled at him. That same employee after yelling at him followed my son and then came yelled at us (parents) about something that supposedly my son did, which by the way did not involve any damage to Macy’s property.

After, my wife went to complain about it, the security treated my wife and my brother in-law like they were criminals. At which point my son ran away and hid behind clothes and was by himself and started crying. I cannot forgive this and I will pursue legal action against the store.

Hello,

This complaint is about the customer service for online shopping at macys.com, 1-800-289-6229. I love Macy's online shopping. However there are some glitches. For example, I have some star rewards which I cannot use because it's impossible to apply them to your shopping cart. So, I called customer service today, Saturday 2/18/2023 at around 3 PM ET. I spoke with a man -Said- and he said he would do it for me. I said that I would like to do it myself if he can show me how. He started to talk and talk, but it was impossible to understand his broken English. I asked him if this problem with the star rewards has been reported to management. I can’t even begin to describe the disappoint in my order #2644134884. A simple coat/jacket that I really wanted, like really wanted! Why does Macy’s use UPS then switch to USPS? The order got so messed up that I was unable to stop or change the delivery.

When I got around to speaking to someone via chat, that chat asked me if I wanted a refund or a another shipped. I didn’t want a refund. I want the coat/jacket. The chat asked if the shipping address was right, I said no.

With a live agent I was unable to change the shipping address! WtF! This experience has been so bad I will never order another item from Macy’s! I can’t even tell you how pissed I am. I did not want the refund.

and nope, it was $30 more expensive. What a shitty experience.

4 phone calls and an email to get a $31 dollar credit and refund. Each time I am promised that my credit will appear on my account and it does not. Each time I am promised that a dispute and complaint will be filed and nothing has been found to document this.

Macy's has lost my business forever. If every customer is treated so poorly no wonder why this business is failing. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Talked to 6 different people today and 3 different departments. All I want is my credit and refund and you would think I was asking for the moon. not worth the trouble

I have spent 8 plus hours the last 2 days and talked to more than 10 reps including 2 supervisors . I am trying to buy fine jewelry from the Atlanta Georgia store and my macys credit card keeps declining .

I talked to the fraud department twice and they said it was fixed . The rep Beverly agreed to hold the item for me for a few days . The reps do not listen and most of them you cannot understand because they are from foreign countries but even after waiting longer to talk to the USA it did not help.

I also have Macys cash I want to use but it is useless. I even went into the store near me in Mission Viejo California but was told they could not help me . I asked about the store manager and was told they don’t know when he will be in.

Its been 2 months that we are calling for our refund and has not been done till date (02/11/23) . The reps put us on hold for 20-30 mins to verify the return order information and give us time period of 4-5 days to return the refund and nothing happened.

Order # 2610747042 - received a confirmation email from Macy that they have received the return on 12/09/22 and no refund till date, Its for the amount $1136.44. Its highly unprofessional and customer service reps are not helpful at all in our case.

The manager by the name of SHARLENE at the Kings Plaza store is very rude and disrespectful to customers. I trued to return 2 items purchased. It was a third party purchase I was told and the cashier was having problems.

She called the manager and after waiting almost an hour she showed and started yelling at me for no reason. I couldn’t get a chance to say anything. I was shocked, embarrassed and disrespected. She later left without addressing the problem. She just stormed off.

I ended up taking the items that doesn’t fit back home and plan to never return or purchase from Macys again. VERY SAD. S. Another customer in line told me she does it all the time.

Extremely poor service from the customer service department.

I called to update my address. Ella's was no help. Vida rep #91149500 was even worse. Well mannered but impossible to get through to her. I asked for a supervisor but she would not transfer the call.

Why have a customer service section? I find each time I call it is the same problem. All my time is spent giving and repeating my name and account number. No one got around to checking that Macy's has my correct address.

Due to a recent fraud problem on my credit card on January, I have had to contact Macy’s customer service more than normal. Unfortunately, I have received terrible attention and insults from costumer service representative. Approximately betweenJanuary 23- and January 30, 2023 I was aggressively insulted unfairly by a rude, impatient and abusive costumer service representative who in the end hung up the call without helping me solve my problem for which I called.

I was so traumatized and in shock, in a terrible nervous state because of this person and thinking that what could have happened to me if that aggressive person had me in front of him. Maybe he would beat me up me.

I'm having a big problem. Everything i call customer service and get a foreigner I can't get any help or a supervisor. I know they're foreigners by their strong dialect. If male or female it's the same. I seem to only be able to get help from non-foreigners.

The customer service there is very bad because of them. It's bad enough I can barely understand their speech I hope someone there can check this out. I asked the lady her name and she refused to give it to me.

I also asked for a supervisor and she told me there wasn't a supervisor there. I just called about 11:45 am on 2-6-2023. Thank you

Macys at the Galleria , fort Lauderdale on Feb 5th 2023. I went to the store and saw a display if earrings at 199$ 299$ 799$ and 1999$. At first I purchased a set , that was in the row at 199$.

Few minutes after I changed my mind and ask to see the ones in the row at 299$. row. get to the cash they wanted to charge me 599$ for each. There was no row at 599$ spike to 2 managers no help.

It was up to me to read the sign not the sales lady. they told me to go to another Macy's to see the earnings at 299$ and they replace the 2 sets in the 299$ row. This is misleading the consumer and unacceptable they didn't recognized their bad practice.

I am very frustrated with the way I was treated.

90 for a fake Christmas tree on January 4, 2023. The sales at Macys after the holidays are incredible. We were looking forward to the ease of a fake tree. It was due to arrive Jan 11th. I followed up January 30th, through the online chat with Jai.

At 12:06 Jai asked if I wanted a refund. Before I could reply Jai disconnected the chat feature so I could not reply. I tried to reach Jai afain and reached Reynaldo instead. Reynaldo gave me the 1-800#. I was advised the item never shipped.

A label was created but the item was never mailed to me. He advised the item was also sold out so they could not ship it. He apologized and told me my refund would go through back to my credit card in 2-3 business days.

BUT THEN I got an email… it states because I inquired about non delivery too many times…

I have returned one of the items (Tommy Hilfiger Mens Sweater) and its been almost 3 months I have not received my refund. I have called the customer service 8-10 times after every 2 weeks to seek help for this issue but everytime I get a different answer which is very unprofessional for such a big brand and their employee always promises to refund the amount in 7-10 days.

It has been very frustrating 2 months and I would like to warn other user's not to fall for this scam. I strongly recommend not to shop with Macy's online store as its going to be a lot of pain for returns and refunds.

I went to return a pair of boots that I purchased for my grand daughter using my Macys card, during a Friends and Family event in September. Because of the time that had passed I was not allowed to return them. That I could accept, but the store manager Karen Johnson at the Buckland Hills store in Manchester, CT was nasty and unprofessional. I asked the cashier for her name and the name of the manager, who was standing less than 5 feet away. The cashier informed me that she could not provide the name of the manger. When I asked the manager for her name. She walked to the register, wrote her name on my receipt and pushed it across the desk in anger. Went in-store and attempted to purchase an item from online. The assistant ordered the item and it canceled out. Assistant tried again and it went through. Fast forward two days, I call to check on my order and was told it was canceled due to verifying my identification.

If I did not call I wouldn't have known my order was canceled. I used a money order to pay towards the item and now have to wait until the money is put back on my card. If my order was canceled why was my money taken?

I have no product and have to wait for my money to be put back on a gift card so I can use only at Macy's. I would never gotten a gift card if the associate didn't suggest it to make the purchase. What a joke. Worst shopping experience ever.

Hello- I have been a loyal customer with Macy’s for many years. Do to convenience, I frequent the Smith Haven Mall Macys located in Lake Grove the most often. I noticed about a year or so ago a change in appearance.

Particularly the Home Department, and the Childrens Department. This past weekend I had stopped in with hopes of purchasing outfits for a new baby. The place was a disgrace. Clothes were scattered about, shelves with clothing were in senseless messy piles , no signs were displayed it was just awful.

Leaving the department with nothing- I reluctantly made my way over to the Home Department for the ‘Big Home Sale’- once again - I incurred the same experience. I had tried shopping the Home Deoartment in the past, and thought how terrible it was- especially that this department…

Baby gifts were ordered from Macy’s by a third party and sent to me for my new granddaughter. Because of illness, there is a time delay in getting the gifts to the new parents.

Due to the fact that babies grow quickly, I called the 800 number on the receipt, to ask how long we had to exchange the items.

The first out of country representative said “only” the person who ordered and sent the gifts could exchange them.

I asked to speak to a US representative but was transferred to another out of country individual who gave me a similar answer, stating a “verbal” ok from the person who ordered the gifts was required for exchanges. Must all gift givers be contacted to know that their gifts are being exchanged??

The girl that took care of me when I made a purchase today should maybe be in a different job. Customer service is not her strength. Not friendly during the transaction. As I was going into J c Penney's the alarm went off.

I tried on a dress for my daughter’s wedding that I found on a clearance rack for 50% off. I found out that it was a clearance because it was damaged on the top and I wasn’t confident that I could have it repaired so I decided to check the website to see if the dress was available there and

it was at full price of course at $279. I decided it was worth it since I did love the dress and went ahead and ordered it. I surprisingly received the dress within a couple of days but noticed the ship meant came from the store I had tried the dress on at.

They covered up the clearance ticket with a sticker, which I can still see and sent me this damaged dress and charged me full price for it! I wish I could give negative stars because it blows my mind that they would do this!

I returned an item online on 12/18 and was told it would be refunded in 3-5 days. I have called the customer service line a total of 5 times. They advised that they are putting the refund in and that it would take 5-10 business days.

Macy’s failed to send the coat I ordered on December 17th with overnight shipping as a Christmas present. I was assured the coat will arrive before Christmas, it never did and never shipped. I waited till after new year for the coat & when I called, was told it was out of stock and my money refunded.

Never got an email to confirm refund was processed, called and called on different days and was told the supervisor put my refund on hold, no reason provided. Until this day I haven’t received my refund nor the coat and today is January 24th, over a month!

I plan to reach out to corporate with this unprofessional behavior

I made multiple attempts to refund my gift card since Jan 3rd. Call time was 10:23. The agent told me she will cancel and refund the credit of $150. I was waited 7 days and called again and another agent told me that it is in process, 10th of JAN call time 10:18. I found out today 21 JAN, from the last agent that whoever took the call on JAN 3rd only wrote on the notes but never process the ticket. While on vacation in the USA I purchased an item and although cashier was nice she accidentally overcharged and didn't give me sale price. The next day I travelled back home where we don't have Macy's stores. I called and emailed over the next 2 weeks being disconnected and endlessly put on hold, told to call numbers that put me back into the same situation of circling drain, or the head office and

store phone systems stated they would connect you to an extension but then take you back to general vm or CS went in circles and was zero help. After 20 years of being a customer I would never give them my business ever again and won't be surprised when they go under. They deserve 0 stars.

Return a Jewelery that I purchased from macys through ups label provided by macys . Now macys says the box was empty when received at warehouse . 13. Either it was lost with ups or macys warehouse misplaced it. Anyway I am the one effected .

Macys is not ready to take further action of filing claims with ups, if it was lost during transportation. I tried to file claim with ups but ups told macys has a dept fir filing the claim and that I am not allowed to file claim .

Each time I call customer service and talk to supervisor, they are giving different answers and no one is ready to help me. I need full refund of the item that is returned .

Also due to macys lack of looking into issue , already 2 months pass by and I am paying interest on my credit card for the purchase .

Purchased Martha Stewart pillows, guaranteed to never go flat. Returned to store with receipt. I went to dept. I purchased them from and was told to go customer service,two floors down. Encountered manager, he indicated taking them to dept,? I told him him dept, sent me to customer service.

I have been a Macys customer since opening my May D & F credit card in 1968. With my first comuter I opened an online account and it worked well for me for some time. In the past 5 years I have had more than one experience of "your browser doesn't support this.

The most recent problem was in the past few months where one time it was fixed and I was overjoyed. Then it wasn't fixed. Since then I have spoken to customer service 3 different times. My usual browser is Firefox. That's not supported. I tried Google Chrome. Not supported either. I tried Opera. Nope.

One man told me I could use my apple smart phone and he guaranteed it would work. Well wrong again. What in the world is the problem? I have weeks of time I've spent on this that I will never get back. I am 75 now.

My wife purchased a coat online at Macys. The order# is 2592856604. 18 Our account was charged on 12/12/22. On 12/16 when the coat was to arrive, we received a crystal aquarium instead. We notifed macys customer service immediately, and were told to dispose of the aquarium, and that another coat would arrive in 2-3 days.

That date was then pushed back to 1/4/23, then 1/12/23, and finally on 12/28/22, we recieved an email from Macys stating that the vendor had back ordered the coat indefinitely. We immediately canceled the order and immediately recived an email from Macys acknowledging the cancellation and representing that our accont would be credited.

I had the misfortune to be checked out by an employee on Saturday January 14. 2023 at the Macys in El Paso Cielo vista mail. I brought my daughter in to purchase a coat. We found the coat we liked, bought it, and went on with our shopping.

I ordered an item that was in the store an when I went to pick it up it was presented to me unpacked just like it was taken off the rack. The pick up desk was not helpful in this situation and I resent the fact that I have to talk to someone in the Phillipines who is not helpful at all and You have lost a customer because of this incident and the inability to make a complaint to somone in person.
