I went to buy some perfume from your online app I completed my purchase and I got an email that my purchase was canceled by Macy's. I called the number they gave me for security and all my information was correct they already took the amount from my checking account for the perfume and then try to get the same amount twice.
The woman said my purchase wasn't canceled and that if I verified my information that she could receive with my purchase then she told me the bank would refund my money in 5 to 10 days and she tried to hit me again twice for the same purchase so I canceled it not happy at all of my experience shopping with Macy's.

I received an item that I didn't order so there is no order number. I have contacted customer service three time and visited a local retail store to return this item. I've been given a link for a return label, it requires an order number which I don't have.
I also don't have a workable printer. UPS charges customers to print their labels. I've been told to keep it, only to be followed by a threatening email twice that if I don't return the item by a certain date that I can be charged.
I'm being put through so much because of my honesty and no one seems to listen or care. I would like someone from the corporate office to contact me so I can have a printed label sent to my home address so I can send return this item I never ordered.

I am writing to you to let you know how disappointed I am with a recent call I made to Macy’s.
On December 17th at approximately 11:30am I called to check the status of order number 2595695735 as I still have not received my purchase. I made multiple calls and each time I was left on hold. Finally I decided to stay on hold and I was on hold for over three(3) hours. I have taken a photograph of the call which shows the amount of time I was on hold with Macy’s.
I am surprised that such a well-known and respected company could allow this type of service.

Order items for my granddaughter and accidentally had it shipped to my address within minutes I called customer service the agent gave me the impression that he had changed it and made me uncomfortable when he asked about the person I intended to ship the items to “where is she from?” This is none of his business and secondly I should not have rated him as competent. The second follow up phone call still did not ended in the desired results. But they don’t mind you adding more to the cart.

I have used my Macy's charge card for about 30 years and have always been happy with the service at Macy's.
However, last week I came home totally disgusted, and am closing my account. I have seven "Silver Member" coupons, all saying "---select reg-priced, sale & clearance items with your Macy's card", good through 1/5/23.
HOWEVER, when I went to use a coupon it was refused, as were the other coupons I tried to use. There are "exclusions" on the reverse side of the coupon but it is way to small to read ! The sales clerk didn't know why she couldn't use my coupons.
To me this is perfect example of Bait and Switch and I never thought Macy's would stoop so low. I would not even give Macy's one star, I'd give it a Minus.
This is the third experience I have had in the shoe department. When there is a sale on shoes one shoe is on the rack and the other is in the stock room three times they never find the second shoe in the stock room.
This has happened at the Macys in Green Acres Valley Stream, NY. This tells me the stock room is totally disorganized as I’m standing four other people are having the same problem. The shoe Manager (Rahim) was very helpful in trying to resolve this problem ..

you sent me a defective item which I needed to wear -- the tag was marked defective when I received. How did it get sent to me -- I call customer service and they said they credit my account, but nothing for my inconvenience.
This is the second time in two weeks I received a defective item!! The quality of Macy's has gone way down, a store that was always held to the highest respect. I revamp of customer service and quality control is needed here.
I would appreciate a call back for this inconvenience since the call dropped when speaking to a very inefficient customer service rep.

Worst customer service I ever experienced. Rep did call avoidance when I ask to do a survey and sent me to Spanish line instead. Ordered merchandise on 11/25 and still don’t have it. Rep informed me that the vendor they use does not have any information on my delivery and neither does Macys. Only response was sorry.

I purchased a child's jacket with them because their website showed it could be picked up by 4:00pm the same day. I arrived at the store and it was not ready . What really added to my frustration was the fact that they showed no concern and didn't even try to find out anything.

I would give zero stars if possible. Customer service phone number answered in another country, can hear them talking to each other in their language, can’t understand them. Spent over an hour on phone to no avail. Then ask just what I thought they could do.
Macys is supposed to be an American store they need to bring these jobs back to the US. We pay premium prices for merchandise they could at least give us customer service that is based in US that speak and understand English

I purchased some items on-line and they did not fit me right. So, I went to return couple of items in the store. the first lady at customer service seems to be new and did not know how to return some items as I purchased some with Macy's Gift card and some with Macy's credit card. My daughter was looking for a cocktail dress so we went to the Macy’s at the Stonebriar Mall in Plano, TX. It was the most disgusting store I have been in in years. It made Walmart look like a high-end store.
They were short staffed which meant the were 4 huge racks of clothes to be put back out on the selling floor. There was garbage and clothes all over the floor everywhere. The rack were so stuffed you couldn’t even tell what was in them.
This store manager should be fired! I’ve worked in retail on and off for 40 years and this shouldn’t happen.

We were in Macy's San Francisco Union Square over the weekend, on two different occasions. On both occasions a Hispanic girl and white man, pretending to shop, followed me and my husband around while we were shopping. It was my birthday weekend.

Over one year ago, when I was living at a different address, I had a package from Macy's stolen. I have since moved, but because I reported the package stolen, Macy's now refuses to process any orders I place, and has basically blackballed me from shopping online, which is astonishing as I formerly had a Macy's charge for over 30 years.

Today I was looking to buy some jewelry at Macy's and get the 30% off Friends and Family discount. I saw a sign that said who was eligible for this 30% off, but was somewhat confusing to me. I asked a Macy's employee who was in the jewelry department, who all qualifies.
She explained it to me. And so I asked, if I am not part of the friends and family, then I don't get the discount, not even a lesser discount. She said, that is right, you just get what the other sale prices are.

Just after opening, the carpets looked unvzcumed. The tile floor were dirty and had really dirty and old pricing stickers. The sales people were great. The clean up was not very good. Apparently, they have no supervision or leadership

My order number 2568179555 was placed on November 24 by phone to a call center agent from the Philippines and the agent put the wrong address when I opened my email on November 25. I immediately called for them to rectify and change to the correct address but they did not do it because it was sent to the wrong address.
Again I called and they told me they cannot do anything to replace my order because everything was out of stock already. I am so frustrated because I waited for almost a year to purchase all theses 5 items of cashmere that only happened on Black Friday.
