My family and I stayed at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel recently and were kicked out. I have recently become aware this is quite an occurrence to other guests who also feel they were unjustifiably treated. We had two incidents. The first, on 7/23/21 around 4-5 pm, my 6 YO son was in the pool area and opened the door of the indoor pool and sliced his foot on the corner of their rusty door.

My son was crying and his foot was bleeding. My husband had to ask for bandages even though an employee could see my son was hurt. No offer was made for a report. Which I felt was necessary especially since he might need medical attention and there were no protective barriers on the bottom of the doors.

I was also informed it is protocol to make a report. I even told the manager this and was ignored. The…

We have just stayed at the downtown Marriott in Keene New Hampshire. We have stayed there many times because my daughter and son-in-law had attended Keene State some years back and we were bringing our granddaughter for her first trip in a hotel.

I honestly have never complained about staying anywhere or even returned a meal but this was so bad I really had to tell somebody. The room was definitely not cleaned they were crumbs all over the floor, there was pubic hair in the shower there was a towel hanging up in my daughters room there was food left out in the hallway and garbage for over 24 hours.

The whole hotel itself just felt dirty. I am confused because especially during Covid you would think he would feel safer and cleaner but I have stayed there before and this was just horrible.…

I am staying at the Residence Inn by Marriott in Dania Beach. I am here for 4 nights and this hotel is the worst by far I’ve ever been to. A motel would be 5 star and they treat you bad when you complain.

I was compensated the room for last night because I had a waterfall spring in my bathroom. After being told I had to deal with it because they had no rooms I was given another room because my kitchen then began to leak.

My new room is smaller yet I’m being charged the same right for the other 2 nights. Now the lock in the new room stopped working and management couldn’t even get in so I have been trapped in the room all day. Ridiculous!!

I drove in from Louisiana on my way back to Delray Beach, Florida where I live. I checked in at the TownePlace Suites in Pensacola on Creighton Road. This location did not have a covered entrance. As a result, my son and I got wet transporting luggage at both check-in and check out due to rain.

After obtaining our keys, we took the elevator to the fourth floor only to discover our keys did not work. I returned to the front desk for assistance. The representative came upstairs with the master key which did not work.

We had to wait in the hallway until she returned with an alternative means to enter the room. After gaining entry, she asked if we were planning to go to dinner since we did not have a key. I had to order food and have it delivered since there was no way to re-enter the room…

Yes I’m staying at a Marriott hotel in Austin Texas Townplace suites oh 35 Austin texas south it has roachs in terrible staffing my wife was expecting a baby in can’t due much the room was nice until they seen roachs crawling she ask for spray in could not get none she ask for the roach to be removed by the front desk Brent came got on hands in knees to help guest are not post to be asking for employees to remove bugs in due to management I do not like what is going on she did 3 room moves in due to roachs this hotel is not being ran correctly due to management !!!!

If I could, I would give this hotel a zero rating. We took the Civil Rights tour from Selma to Montgomery and ending in Birmingham. I stayed with a different brand in Montgomery and had a wonderful stay.

We stayed at the Fairfield Inn in Birmingham and right after getting to our room the stay became unpleasant. One of the couples traveling with me were giving a handicapped room. She called and then went down to the front desk to have her room changed. The bed was too low for her 6'3 husband. And she didn't want to take a room from someone who was disabled and needed the special accommodations.

The manager on duty, Lashuandra, said that all rooms are assigned when reserved and that there was not available rooms but we saw rooms being cleaned so not everyone booked for the day had checked…

In May we booked a one bedroom suite at the above hotel. When we arrived we were given the key to a regular room with a small kitchenette not a one bedroom suite. I suppose the manager Denise would hope that we didn’t notice that we didn’t get the one bedroom suite that we had booked.

Not an upfront way to conduct business and indeed we felt like we were being duped . We went back down and explain that that was not the type of room that we Had reserved months before. If I have option to give zero I will give big zero to this hotel. We stayed in Courtyard by Marriott in Jekyll Island from July 1st to July 5th in room # 335. The Hotel charged me twice and since then I am trying to reach them and no one is calling me back.

It is my hard earned money and $1704 is not a less amount. It is a simple mistake on their part which they need to fix. I tried to reach manager Michael Taylor like 50 times and left messages on his voice mail and with staff requesting him to call me back but he never called me back.

Me and my husband checked out of the Marriot on Carolina Beach Tuesday morning on July 13th. I left a robe and a gown hanging on the back of the door in the bathroom. I remembered it when I got home and immediately called the hotel to get it sent to me.

I was more than willing to pay for the shipping costs. I was told that someone from housekeeping would call me back. I waited until the next day and no one called so I called again. The person checked lost and found and the gown and robe was not there.

I was told the manger of housekeeping wouldn't be back until tomorrow and they would have her call me. No one called again! So I called back and ask for the manager. The Manager told me that they were not responsible for items left behind and ask if I would like to file a police report.

My wife and I spent Memorial Day weekend in the Fairfield Marriot Inn in Crete NE...we used Travelocity to book the stay. Attached is the booking.

When checking out we received a bill for $432.19. We said it was the incorrect mount. They said the young man at the front desk made a mistake and the manager (Nikki) would call us as she did not work weekends.

No call was received, a week went by and I called again only to get the same response.

Arrived at the Country Yard by Marriott West in ATL on 7/8 and had to wait in the lobby for 40min because the representative stated there were no available rooms, although I booked my room a month ago. to make it worse there was no hot water available because the boiler broke down for 24hr.

In addition, the elevator was broken and the sales manager Jasmin Payton was condescending and not helpful in any way. I was informed that my stay 7/8-7/11 would not be charged due to all the inconvenience and I was charged for the stay anyway.

I was on hold for an excessive length of time trying to get thru to Springhill suites in Miami. I asked the agent who answered the call to spell her name and she refused! saying "I don't need to know".

I then asked to speak with a manager or supervisor, and she refused to transfer me. She said her name was , what sounded like... Celo, long e sound, and long o sound. My purpose in calling was to ask for an additional hour for checkout, as I have never heard of a 6AM Checkout...

Failure to process a reservation: On or about June 18 I called Courtyard By Marriott in Winchester Va to make a reservation for a July 24 wedding I was to attend. Wedding attendees were to be given a reduced rate if applied by June 20. I furnished my credit card data, email and cell phone number. I was advised check was 3:00 but they try to accommodate an earlier arrival.

Since I had not received a confirmation, I called Marriott on July 6 to inquire. There was no record of a reservation! I again made the reservation but was advised I would have to pay the current rate of $159. I believe the wedding discount rate was $99. Seems unfair that I am penalized because someone dropped the ball at your end.

I had two rooms in October for approximately two weeks plus and now my points and stays are gone. My receipts are with my accountant at the moment. I stayed in Lake Charles and in Florida. In the nicest rooms available suites. Two bedrooms I believe and when I checked my points a few months back. I had enough points I believe they exceeded 150,000. Originally booked a deluxe king and the reservation rep called back stating they had a balcony suite that would overlook the river for the firework show that I initially called for wanting. Rep reassured me that he spoke with a supervisor and GUARANTEED the balcony would overlook the river for the fireworks.

Got there and ALL balconies are facing brick walls in what would appear to be the middle of the hotel in a courtyard. Very very upset about that. Check in reps blew us off about it. In the elevator there were candy wrappers and garbage on the floor.

My wife and decided to stay at your Marriott in Colorado Springs. We decided to celebrate our wedding anniversary at your beautiful hotel. We are stay 5 days and it’s been a disaster so far. We paid $ 1900 of our hard earned money and savings to celebrate our marriage.

Family vacation 6/23-6/27/21 Fairfield by Marriott Dallas Park Central-room 203/205. Reported bed bug infestation morning of 6/25 after multiple family members with visible bites. Thankfully 6 month old was ok. Was moved to 201 and later second room was available 207.

Difficulty resting due to bites and fear this room also infested.

Also TVs in new rooms didn’t work. Was told maintenance would fix but never happened. Requesting refund.

I stayed at the Court Yard Marriot in Mesquite TX. I booked two rooms. My second room 307 air condition went out about 4am in the morning on 6/27/2021. Maintenance man came in and put new filter in and it worked for 30 minutes and went completely out.

He came back and said room needed new unit. I advised the clerk and she said he explained to her it was ok. She said she would check once we left. Never offered another room or any kind of accommodations.

We checked in at 4:00 and had reserved two one bedroom suites. One room was on first floor and one was on the third floor. The room on the third floor did not have an air conditioner that was working.

When checked in it was 82 degrees then climbed to 84 thirty minutes later. Called the front desk and was told they would check into it. Called back 15 minutes later and was told they were going to check it but since it was so hot outside not much they could do.

They came and checked it and suggested that we keep the door open to get the cold air from the hallway. I have never had such horrible customer service from a Marriott and do not understand why another room with a working air conditioner was not given to us, Paying for a room that no one can stay in is absolutely ridiculous!!

On May 30th we arrived at Riverfront Marriott for our three day stay for our 40th anniversary.

We waited in lobby with others waiting for our rooms to be prepared.

Checking in late afternoon, we had reservations for dinner at The Old Pink House for our anniversary.

Room was extremely warm, we adjusted AC. After a short period we called front desk an they requested maintenance.

Maintenance came dismantled front panel of AC and adjusted unit.

I had reservations and arrived on May 21, on the morning of May 22 I asked the front desk not to clean the room that day. On the morning of May 23 I informed the cleaning person who was cleaning the room across the hall that we would be out in about 20 minutes and the room could be cleaned after that, she asked me to make sure the air condition was on to keep the room cool while she was cleaning, I agreed.

My family & I were guests at your Courtyard Miami in Coral Gables by Marriott location from 5/16-5/17. I went out for dinner with my husband and a few drinks. We arrived after midnight around 1 am. We tried to use our key card at the double door side entrance by the parking lot on site. We were unable to get in. Our key was deactivated. Upon arrival we ask for a baggage carrier and they were not interested in locating one. There were small coffee makers in the room but no complimentary coffee so we ask for coffee and they informed us they were not a full service hotel and for $324.80 A NIGHT a piece we informed them they were not a motel 6 either! I have never been so disappointed and dissatisfied by a Marriott but this was horrible and we rented 2 rooms and my other family members in the other room were treated the same!

While staying at the Marriott Residence Inn, Lexington City Center in Aug 2020, I experienced some situations that should be brought to senior management attention as well as the Health and Human Services Dept. The swimming pool was recently opened,with a maximum of 8 guests allowed at any time.

I went to check out the pool and it looked like a family of 6 with their dog was enjoying the pool. I’m a dog person, have had Boxer dogs for decades, but even I know you don’t put your dog in the swimming pool and help it swim around.

I am taken back that there had been a decision to assess a charge to my credit card after some questionable accusations. I can say with absolute certainty that I did not nor did anyone else smoke in room 209 during my stay at the hotel and I did not vandalize anything. I touched the smoke detector in an attempt to reset it after it went off. It did not go off because I touched it. I recently stayed at the Marriot Savannah Riverfront. Absolutely beautiful place. I loved our stay in Savannah. I booked the hotel at the rate listed. There was no immediate mention about paying for parking. Ok. It was there but not in plain sight.

Called reservations to modify an upcoming stay. Talked to 2 different csr with no result. Got transferred to loyalty department. She was very rude and because she couldn’t answer my questions, she said she was going to transfer me to her supervisor because obviously I don’t understand anything.

Her supervisor was not any better. He couldn’t help so he just said have a nice day and hung up! These are the people that represents the company. Your customer service department is seriously lacking customer service skills! Job skills/Expectations must not be very high if the answer is to transfer or hang up if you’re stuck with questions you don’t know how to answer.

Was charged $30/day for valet parking service totaling over $100 when valet was not in operation due to covid. Filed a dispute with corporate and they informed me to contact the branch to try and obtain a refund. The customer service representative Moneise Tollfree refused to provide me with her supervisor's name.

I had to file a dispute through my credit card company, who pursued Marriott directly and refunded my money.

The assistant general was very condensing, very rude. His name is Chris Livoti. There was an issue with balloons and I took the balloons back to the car. My husband and Chris conversed while I took my four small children to the restroom.

I came back and suddenly was refused a room. I do not know if it was bc we are Americans of darker skin or what. It was so embarrassing. He refused to call anyone else for help but the police.

I am standing there with my kids who are very young (5 months, 2, 4, and 5) and the only help I could get was from the police! It seems so unfair, unkind, and heartless to do this to a customer.

I’m so sorry my family had to be mistreated for a very minute misunderstanding.

When we arrived at the Jacksonville Beach, Florida Marriott, the base of the television was extremely dusty. We also had to wipe down the balcony furniture, as it was covered in pollen and/or dust.

Although the balcony door clearly states NO SMOKING, we could not even enjoy sitting out in the evening, or the next morning, because the rooms on both sides of us had people smoking marijuana.

The bathroom sink was very slow to drain. Simply brushing my teeth was a task.

I could have chosen any other hotel to stay at, but I chose Marriott because you're supposed to be one of the better ones. However, I must say, for the nightly rate that we were charged, along with everything that occurred during our stay, I think on my next visit, I'll try the Hilton.
