Based on a prior service, I was pleased to do business with Meineke but unless they they change their management at the Bessemer location I will never bring my car back. The manager became upset that I did not allow them to do work on my vehicle because he was price gauging trying to take advantage of me because I’m a female.

I declined the service and advise him that I’m sending my tow man to come pick up my vehicle. We made it to the location at around 4:55 the manager saw us outside and still chose to lock the doors, get in his car and drive off.

The hours of operation is 6 o’clock, it is 5 and they are closed. I flagged the receptionist down and asked her why were they leaving and she said they’re closing early due to the holidays. So I had to end up paying the towing a fee for…

The service shop has done nothing positive for the associate hospital administrator at our hospital. He took his Range Rover to their shop at 2343 S. Kirkwood, Houston, Texas and the shop was more interested in attempting to weasel money out of the warranty company and had the administrator sitting there all day.

They still did not get his truck repaired. They said it would be a one day repair, the shop is now claiming it will take another day. That is only because they “rigged” up the warranty claim for more hours of labor and they are trying to make it seem longer than it is necessary.

The shop then called our administrator while he was doing clinical rounds claiming he had to pay separately for a system flush because the warranty company would not. The warranty company never declined…

Vehicle taken to Meineke on South Seneca in Wichita Kansas on Tuesday, Nov. 16,2021, after quit running the night before, requiring towed to my house. The following day, was able to get it started. Drove to Meineke, and showed them the vehicle.

I then drove to a car lot for an interesting vehicle. The truck wouldn't start again. Had to be towed home a second time. The following Sunday, was towed by me to Meineke. A couple days after Thanksgiving Meineke revealed the need for a fuel pump. I agreed to it.

Fuel pump didn't fix vehicle. Meineke said spark plugs bad. I agreed to it. Vehicle runs, but very poorly and very rough, especially at low speeds. I filed a complaint against fuel company, which Meineke told them it was fuel pump, not fuel.

I got new tires put on by Meineke in Derby Kansas on May of 2020. I went to Walmart in Derby KS on August 2021 to have my tires rotated and balanced since I have the lifetime warranty on them.

They were unable to do so because they said the lug nuts were " swollen" and if they took them off they would have to replace the lug nuts which at the time they did not have enough if I decided to move forward. 00 for their mistake.

When I tried to explain all this to the guy at Meineke the young guy was extremely rude and demeaning. I decided not to do it at that time and just wait to save money to have the tires done later on.

I took my car to one of your shops in Statesville North Carolina to get my brakes looked at due to them squeaking real bad. They inspected my car and notified me about other problems with my car as well.

I have a warranty on my car. I notified them that I did. So they went through the process of seeing what all my warranty covered. Well I decided to go ahead have my warranty to cover the cost of all the repairs.

In order to have the work done, a inspector from my car warranty company needed to come and inspect the car to make sure that what was needed to be repaired was correct. Days went by and I checked in with the shop several times for updates on of the inspector came or not.

I took my car to meineke on 11/11/2021. I have a noise on the front driver side by the wheel. I told the staff I thought it was the strut or sway bar. After paying $50 for the diagnosis I was called and told the noise was from the ball joint on the passenger side.

I needed to replace my ball joint, arm control, sway bars, and an alignment. I was told that I couldn't just change the ball joint that I needed the arm control and ball joint together. 00. My friend called meineke to ask you they were charging me so much.

I dropped my car off at 1:00 pm yesterday for a basic oil change. Was told we will give you a call when it’s ready. It was 500 pm and I call to see if my car is ready. I get the answering services and they tell me that the location is closed.

I never received a call saying hey we didn’t get to your car today you want to come get it they took it upon themselves to leave my car over night.! They are closed today (Sunday) I am at home stuck with my two kids and have to work tomorrow morning!

This was by far the most disrespectful unprofessional thing they could have done ! And now I can’t get ahold of anyone or even get my car .. I will never use Meineke again and it’s sad cause I used them for many years !!

I brought in my vehicle for u joint replacement, Monday at 7am. They have gotten 3 different parts that don’t fit now they are saying that they messed up my driveshaft and it’s not fitting correctly. I had to be at work Tuesday.

My car was left with Meineke for check fluid level in transmission for leak from Oct 25th-Oct29th. I authorized the "possible charge of $2400" to my fix the leak. I did not call or bother them until friday Oct 29th when I asked "status"?

Dropped truck off to replace factory manifolds with shorty headers. They had it for a day and a half. 73 and I brought in the parts. Brand new. Will probably be another 1-150(maybe more)to fix their mess up. But they were very nice about it.

I am a jet mechanic if and when I send something out the door it's right. It has to be, so I am at a complete loss here. ***They convinced me to bring it back another time to "make it right" and it is even worse now.

This complaint details repeated acts of fraud committed by store #1957 located at 2810 W. Highway 54, in Peachtree City, Georgia 30269, on September 15, 2021.

In summary the technician P. Harvey charged for work not done. This was sanctioned by the store manger, Alex, and the upper level of management / franchise owner. There were multiple opportunities to catch and correct these errors at each level. These opportunities were declined. The result was an excessive labor charge of $736 for several items of labor not completed.

Moreover, the vehicle had to be taken to a competitor for completion of an unrepaired and unreported air conditioning issue. This alternate tech found that the condenser / receiver was severely rusted…

On June 26,2020 I took my car to Mineke on Camden Dr. in Fountain, Co. to have my catalytic converter replaced for over $500, on Aug. 27, 2021 I got the code P0420 stating my converter needed replacing. I took it back to the shop that replaced it and they said it had a split in the seam which leads me to believe it was defective to begin with.

There is no way a catalytic converter should split in the seam in a little over a year. They informed me that they couldn't warranty if because Co. has adopted the Ca. emissions program and since they put in a universal converter it had to be replaced with one that would cost $1,500.

I am not going to pay twice the money to have it replaced when it is a little over a year old. I would like someone to respond to this email ASAP.

Charged my daughter 274 for a battery that she didn't need, she brought car back and then a dx was performed and they then attempted to charge her 800 for a fuel pump. She wanted to take it elsewhere, then they charged her an additional 124 for a dx.

Paid $100 cash to order the parts as down payment. Waited for a week & they never received the part. They promised to refund my $100 & I am still waiting. Twice I went to the shop & they told me that they have no cash.

This place is 15 miles from my house. Every day I call at least 4 times. Very poor service. I went to other mechanic shop & got my car fixed for $95 and Meineke wanted almost $ 400 & I was willingly to pay but they never got the part.

The Peachtree City, GA location is ABYSMAL. The Google reviews don't do it justice. It's so terrible.

After reading the other negative reviews, I'm gonna have FUN writing this cus the absolute audacity of this is just unreal.

I paid meineke to do some work. Apparently the service writer saw me as being a sucker and damaged my car while I was standing in the bay door watching him and then gave me an estimate to fix it.

I called The bureau of automotive repair & Mike went out and spoke to them and they agreed to pay for a new pump. But what they actually did was damage my car to the point that it's almost undrivable.

The back end now squeaks and jingles as it wobbles all around, the front struts have been damaged, and the muffler has three rows of holes in it that I'm not sure if they're from a screwdriver or a spike of some kind? These people know that I'm homeless and they know that I cannot recover from what they've done.

My car was recently seen at Meineke in Renton and I feel like there was a lot of negligence and being taken advantage of as a female. I went in on 6/26 for a road trip car inspection and asked them to specifically look at/change my brakes.

My front brakes were replaced almost 2yrs ago/less then 20k miles on them. My back brakes and drums were replaced 5 yrs ago 40k miles on them. The technician replaced my front brakes and rotors, which according to the paperwork from them, still had 7mm left on them.

I purchased new higher end value parts for my 2007 Ford mustang in April 2020. Tie rods and brakes on passenger and driver side both. July 2021 the driver side needed fixed again. Upon removing parts you can see the stamp that matches vin, it’s the same part from manufacturer on the driver side.

The passenger side was checked and it is a newer part ( one I purchased ). So not only did the mechanic or someone there steal new parts from me but I was charged for work not performed, also theft!

Took my car in for brakes, oil change, and a/c check. Going on vacation and wanted it checked out. Called me on the a/c telling me that the “a/c button wasn’t on” like I was a stupid woman that didn’t know how to work it.

First and foremost before I brought my vehicle in the abs anti brake system and the tracking control was working fine now it's not. This was at the meineke up in Northbrook, Illinois. At the location on Tuesday they said before they ;fired up the vehicle it will reset itself. It did not reset.

No one is owning to the responsibility. Yemi and Josh were there. I took off. I called josh gotten on the phone. Saying I'm sorry to hear it. Nothing about making things right. I will never go to you again.

Even if the cost of them repairs I'll go somewhere else. Is this how you do your customers. So, if I get an estimate at another place since trust is lost are you going to pay for the cost to fix it.

These are the responses to SLO's Meineke requesting repairs from Sergio until today (06/24/21). I contacted Sergio on SLO's Meineke phone on 23 June 2021. on06/10/21, when they’ve installed the converter on last March, and they touched sensor and welded it and repaired the sensor part, but the converter did not work due to a problem with the sensor. The check light was off in Meineke on that day, but when I drove for about 20 miles, the engine light came on again and I’ve watching the engine check light on and off so far. On June 8, 2021 I drove my 2010 Nissan Pathfinder (Silver) to Meineke location: 1512 Kirkwood Hwy #569, Wilmington , DE 19805 because the SUV was blowing hot air. George the manager gave us a quote of $169 to put FREON in the vehicle.

My son n law patched a dime size hole in my muffler as well as put tape around pipe attached to muffler. It was quiet again but he said that would only last a little while. So knowing I had replaced the entire system at the Wood River IL.

Yesterday Friday the 18th of June I had a scheduled appointment for 2pm. I was running late, so I called my local Meineke on Limit Street, Colo Spgs CO. letting them know. I pulled in at 2:18pm & there wasn't anywhere to park.

Very unprofessional I walked in the business on Saturday June 12 needing service to my vehicle. I was told the parts need to be ordered it will take 1 business day. Since it was the weekend I figure Tuesday someone would call me but that didn’t happen.

6/8/2021 I left a message on the phone saying that I would like to visit around 2 pm on 6/10/2021, but there was no response from Meinke in Slo. I arrived on 06/10/21 around 1:25 and waited 10 minutes, but no one accepted the customer's visit. 4/28/21, I had my car serviced at the Meineke # 135 1745 N Olden Ave. my issue was the AC was blowing hot air.

Additionally, I had them inspect my belts. Repairs include, replacing the serpentine belt and drive pulley. The belt issue seems to be solved. On the AC side, an AC hose and hose assembly was replaced, with the standard recycling of the system.

I received a call that all the repairs were completed. When I arrived to pick up my vehicle, the store manager tells me that I the driver side is blowing hot air and the passenger side is blowing cool. Needless to say, I’m upset!

Went in for a oil change to find out the owners in the Sparks Nevada location are selling full synthetic for every oil change, basic, blend, and full. They are selling the same oil for everything but asking for $80 for a full synthetic when I could get a basic oil change for $19.00 for full synthetic. Over heard a few of the people working for the company speaking about it while I was in the restroom.

Went to the Meineke on 13 in Delaware took my car there cuz I had a ride on underneath the guy was trying to charge me $100 and then he called and said you got to pay cash for that so I said okay get the car fixed then he calls me back and said he found another problem that's going to call six hundred and

some dollars which he said it was the muffler leaking I have no problem with my muffler. And now I have a loud Muffler because I refuse to let him do the work

On Dec. 3 2018 I had my vehicle at Meineke for services. At that service I had my front pads and rotors replaced. The warranty was for two years. About 4 months ago I was hearing a scrubbing when I applied the brakes.

Being in the middle of a pandemic I just recently went back to Meineke and the rivets had let go on a pad. Faulty pad no doubt. 80 labour for instaliation. 12 instaliation. I already paid for instaliation. I should not be charged a second time. 12. This is ridiculous.

Seeing they didn't want to put a smile on my face after collecting $308 for complete brake job didn't wipe off the black smudges off my hubcap, ,did not want to check brake fluid unless they were forced to open my hood when I got home , and they pump the brakes had fluid all on top of master cylinder and fluid dripping down off inside my inside fender walls etc.. wall they act like they had to be forced to check brake fluid they don't normally do it lets a customer request to do it

In jan/Feb of 2018, I went to meineke for some auto repairs/upgrades. Spent hundreds upon hundreds of dollars to do so and now 2 years later have had to have multiple fixes done to those "repairs" that werent done correctly.

One repair was the manifold gasket, costing me around $570. Just got my car back from another shop where they had to refix the shitty work done by meineke mechanics. That fix cost me $600. They had to replace not only the gasket but also the bolts that hold the manifold into place.

According to the shop that redid the work it was missing 2 upper bolts that hold the manifold in place causing a leak which eventually caused it to have to be replaced. This shouldnt have happened after only 2 years and the bolta didnt just fall out, they were never put in in the first…

1191 N Colony Rd Wallingford CT. I have used Meineke in Massachusetts for a long time and felt i could trust the name until now. My daughter is in school in CT her car broke down across from this store this past December.

She brought it in and charged an outrages amount for the work. I got prices from another franchise and was significantly lower in labor and parts. 00 for a tensioner and a drive belt belt. 00 which sounds more reasonable for the car.

I already tried to fight it with the CC company with no luck. I spoke with the CT Franchise and they told me they couldn't do anything about it and to call the owner Robert Dumont. 800-447-3070. Turns out this is not the owner and I did not get any answers.

I don't expect to get anywhere with this complaint so I will complain to the BBB…
