Horrid experience, Menards in Ballwin, MO. I Placed an order online in total close to $3000 the put it in 3 groups, after one week I received an email from the company letting me know that one of my 3 orders is ready to pick up, because I don't have a truck I called the store and

asked him if it's ok to wait till all my orders are ready and available for picking them up at the same time, the representative over the phone said yes I can with no problem, the following week I decided to start my project early so I took one of my Friend his cargo Van and went to pick up my order, the person in online order pickup department said one of your item worth $700 was picked up 3 days ago and

when I asked him who picked it up he couldn't give me a straight answer, can you imagine that??? , so I wait…

My husband and I were in the lumberyard of the greenwood Indiana menards, asked a kid where a certain size board was, he showed us and it was piled behind a big stack of something else, he was asked to move it with a forklift so we could get to the lumber we needed, he did not.

Then he proceeded to stand with another employee (kid) and screw around on their phones instead of helping my husband load the large amount of lumber we were picking up. I ended up getting out and helping him and the little jerks still just stood there and watched us.

Then to top if off about 4 or 5 more guys walk up and just watch !! Not one person offered to help. We spend a LOT of money with menards and do not appreciate the lack customer service out in the lumberyard this evening.

I have experienced very poor customer service and lack of service numerous times from various employees in this particular store location at the Legends in Kansas City, Kansas. The attitudes are very concerning and unacceptable. For example this evening I was attempting to purchase some wood and the cashier proceeded to argue with me about the price which was inaccurate. I advised her that it was a different price than what she was charging. me. Someone else came to assist her with the issue and I explained the same to her and she became combative and stated that I could just leave because I insisted the price was different than what they were charging me.

I wanted to get the word out to everyone just in case you haven't came across this to avoid this from happening to you.

DO NOT SUPPORT MENARDS!

We purchased a vanity on 4-13-2021 and with major shipping delays due to the pandemic which is understandable we have been patient to finally have arrive 3-21-2022.

We picked up the same day later realized not all the parts were included and a major crack. Due to all the delays we decided to return it.

I purchased with a credit card and paid this a year ago and the only solution is an in store credit. No flexibility at all. I really don't need anything right now that I don't want a $640 going to an in store credit. I understand the 90 day return policy however the item didn't arrive in 90 days and it was defective again not in my control.

Today 1/12/22 I was shopping at the Menards in Tinley Park ,Il. I purchased a n$6.00 toilet seat. When I went to the cashier she noticed that the packaging was open and I decided to get another one. I paid for the toilet seat ahead of time and then went to get a new one.

I got the new one and then went back to the cashier to show her that i got the same new one, and we parted. I went thru the outer doors and was in the parking lot when an employee(Pam) came out after me and demanded that I show her my receipt. She thought that I stole the product. She said that I did not go thru a checkout aisle and accused me of stealing it. I of course had a receipt for it.

On 12-21-2021 I purchased over $400.00 of exterior lighting ftom the Menards store in Wixom, Michigan. On 01-08-2022 I learned of a 15% off sale. I called the store to inquire about a price adjustment. I talked to a very nice man named David, he told me all I need to do is bring in my receipt for the price adjustment. When I arrived at the store 35 minutes from my home, I was greeted with nothing but rudeness in front of other customers. The lady at the service desk told me they do not do price adjustments. When I told her what David told me in the phone, she called another person to assist me.

At the end of October wife and I decided we were going to redo some of our house, we went to Lowes and got most of the stuff but was told that their counter tops could take up to six weeks to get in. Not wanting to wait that long we elected to go to Menards and see how long it would take to get the counter tops.

They assured us it would be quicker than six weeks so we ordered a new quarts countertop. We also purchased a new sink from Menards to go with the countertops, we received an email the day we purchased our order and received the template for our countertops within about five days of our order.

I was at Menards in Mt. Vernon IL, today getting some things and on my list was 2x4x8. I completed my transaction and headed to the back to pick up my wood. Upon driving into building 19 to get my 2x4x8's.

There were not any in the spot where they were marked, a young that worked there got on the radio and called inside and verified that they had some in there, and I was told to drive over to the customer pickup and they would pull out the 2x4x8's and bring them out.

A girl that was working the customer pickup walked out and when I handed her the pick up ticket, she said these were located in building 19. I told her that, they didnt have any out there and was directed over here.

The next billing cycle should have had nothing to do with my payment. You did not give me the 30 days to pay the next bill off before allocating money to it.

This complaint is regarding staff requirements on hats, I’m a carry out at the menards in effingham Illinois and have been wearing a hat backwards for months. My GM came up to me randomly saying I’m not aloud to wear my hat like this and it’s not clothing policy, I had him look for me and there were no specifics about wearing a hat forwards or backwards.

He then told me to wear the hat right or don’t wear it at all, I wear it to protect the top of my head because I had an injury there and I want my face to be tan as well since I’m outside all day. Is it policy for workers to wear there hats forward?

Menard's in maple grove, mn seemed unprofessional. I had an issue with my purchase of some 2x4x8 boards. I told her the price that was on the ticket where I got the wood which was outside. She got radioed back that they could not find it.

They said to just give it to me. They made me feel that I was lying and trying to get over on menards. After placing the material in the car, I went back to confirm my pricing. I found a staff at the spot of the wood.

I said he was the one on the call and did not find it at the time. When I went back to inform the manager of the finding and how she made me feel. All she could say it that it is not her job to price and then turned her back to me, as to ignore my feeling.

24X12 cement pillar caps are on display in the store but they need to be specially ordered so I ordered 1 to replace a broken one for 26.98 they now added a 20.00 handling charge for the one I ordered. They are nickel and diming their customers to death. They have just lost a $10,000 per year customer!!!!

Customer service is non-existing. When asked for assistance in loading landscaping timbers the team member was put off when I asked that my son and I push them off the forklift tines, he wanted to just drop them onto my trailer.

Then when we asked that unusable product not be loaded he took a very belligerent attitude, so we asked to speak with the store GM Brian. Brian came out and immediately took a confrontational stance towards us, it was very apparent he did not want to be bothered to speak with us.

I went to the location in Kokomo, IN. We walked in did our shopping, even talked to a couple of employees. (Without a mask) nobody said a word. We go to the checkout and the lady says I won’t be able to check you out, without a mask!

My husband and I went to Menards on May 22,2020 to order lumber for a deck. they said they would call when it came in. They didn't so I called them. They said that we hadn"t paid the delivery fee so we went back and did so. Again, we waited.

I was at the Menards on 2015 Walmart Dr, Warren OH 44483. I was met with a rude customer service representative Bethany an older woman with blond highlights. I came in about a return or exchange on behalf of a stake light I had purchased from them but lost the box and receipt for it.

Ordered a refrigerator and range for our home from menards. Waited over two months for the appliances to show up which they didn’t. Contacted menards on 3 separate occasions to which they would simply reply “they are on the way”.

Was unable to wait any longer without a range and refrigerator. Asked to cancel order and was informed we would be charged a 25% restock fee if we cancel. We canceled at this point, as there was no assurance of when they may ever deliver.

I went into one of your stores and purchased 7 gallons of paint. I should say that I was in a mobility scooter because I have 2 bad knees and a bad shoulder. The man at the paint counter wouldn't even help me put the paint in my cart, instead he watched me struggling to get all 7 cans in my cart by myself.

I have experienced this on 2 other occasions with this same paint department staff. While I was in the checkout lane the cashier took one of the cans of paint and scanned it times 7. I stopped her and said I didn't think they were all the same price.

When parking in a parking lot if you notice the cart corrals are full, do yourself a favor, never park near them or down hill from them. Go in and tell the store manager that someone is lacking in doing their job.

This was mid morning and the parking lots was not full. Menards in Waterloo is an example, during am early morning visit the corrals were full and the cart remover employee found time to visit with other employees. Thus the carts were being placed outside of the corral.

After parking far away from all corrals and the store entrance, My Jeep got attacked by two carts. The cost of repair is over $3000, one cart rolled into the drivers door and the other cart just missed the Jeep.

We ordered roofing material on 11-22-2019 and paid for this material. The date of delivery was today 12-9-2019. We ordered from this location Because they had all the material in stock. Last night 12-8-2019 (Sunday evening) we received a call from this Menards stating they will be delivering However,the order will be incomplete.

Upon my first visit to Menards Maplewood store I was indirectly accused of stealing by the return desk employee. I brought my merchandise to the counter and had my receipt in my hand. The first thing she said was "I didn't see you bring that in".

I wanted 4 door locks rekeyed and was told it would take 10 minutes to complete. The guy who started doing it was interrupted several times and he handed job off to someone else. After 30 minutes second guy still hadn’t finished one so I asked how much longer and he didn’t know as he hadn’t taken one apart before, Originsl guy came back and they couldn’t get the lock back together and had to get a different lock.

Waited almost an hour standing at the counter for them to finish. And they had the gall up charge me for the rekeying after it took that long. Poorest service I’ve ever had st Menards!

No customer service. They couldn't find our $1000 special order roofing. When they finally found it, it was damaged. They reordered. This one was damaged too right in the middle of the roll. They only wanted to give us $50 credit. What a crock. This was waterproofing material.

Keep in mind it's 35 miles to the store one way. This is 2 trips now. They couldn't find the termination bars that were ordered as well. Manager didn't even bother to come talk to us.

Ordered a counter top from Menards and the salesperson never asked if it was a base cabinet measurement or actual measurement of the countertop as I wanted it. When I received the countertop, all of the measurements I had signed off on were not true.

The overhang was totally off and the counter top did not fit at all. I even had a contractor of 30 years do the measurements and the product I received was so off it couldn't be used. Now they wanted a 25% restocking fee, even though they will not restock a this countertop.

The pictures provide an accurate look at how far off they actually made this countertop. I am really at a loss for words as to how they want me to pay for such incompetence.

Called on 3 August, about 5pm, spoke to a Luis who transferred me to the customer service desk. Kayla was who I spoke to and was EXTREMELY RUDE and UNPROFESSSIONAL. Our connection sounded like Menards line as outside with traffic and advised her of that.

I purchased outside materials today at the Oshkosh Menards store . Four separate fork lift drivers , who I tried to have help me load lumber, fascia,soffit, etc. did not help. Then I found them all by landscaping talking and laughing.

Ordered light July 3 as store did not have one. The young kid we had was a jerk from the start. I asked how long order would take, he said could be a day, week, month, who knows. So we asked another worker and he said week to 10 days.

No response on order so I called the 15th. Was told coming in this week. We were in muscatine the 20th so stopped. Was told it had been discontinued and has been on computer for awhile. So I asked if mernards was going to let us know and told it was on computer when the kid put in order.

That kid should be fired. We could have gone somewhere else and had a light.

I shop at the Monona WI menards. I have a walking disability so I always utilize your electric carts. The last 3 times I visited your store, the cart was fully charged, but when I went around the store, in 5 minutes the cart stalled, even one of you sales people could not get it going, I had to terminate my visit.

I truly believe you should remove the old carts and get more reliable ones for us that are disabled. Very inconvenient, I will shop at Walmart in the future as theIr carts work all the time. I mighj aLSO SUGGEST TO MY DISABLED FRIENDS TO DO THE SAME.

I have been doing some remodeling so I bought all of the Haven Shiplap that was on shelf at the Independence location . I ordered 57 more pieces June30th . I advised the manager that I needed it to complete this project no later than today 7/16/19 he guarantee me tens days no problem.

I called twice last week every time not sure when it will come in call back in a day ! So I called last night and was advised truck will be here at 10 am . I went to pick up this morning No shiplap was advised it’s bundled up ,but hasn’t been shipped yet !

loading $2,500 worth materials for our deck. Lumber and other materials were ordered and paid for the day before on June 19, to be picked up the next day when we were going to have access to a trailer. Upon arriving at around 6:00 pm, the guy at the gate said we would have help loading materials.

We only saw 2 guys in the lumber yard warehouse, and a whole lot of trucks and trailers. Thankfully, one of the guys along with myself, my husband, and my brother (by the way we the 3 of us are all in are upper 60s) proceeded to hand pick and load all the lumber, no forklift help at all... took us 2 hours!

one the 5th of july I went to the crestwood Il menards. 25 same ref #on both charges. Talked with synchrony and they where no help said I had to get menards to check into it. Called crestwood and it seemed that the person I talked to could only find one billing for that day said he would contact corp. and call me back.

I need this corrected I tried to call your offices using the phone #7158765911 no one answered and phone hungup. 25. do not have receit since I sent it in for adjustment rebate. the card I used on 5 july is 6501720609061720.

I bought a 4 piece black and decker saw and drill set. The sign said was $119. Now $99. I had several items and didnt realize until looking at my receipt while walking to my car that I had been charged the original price of $119.

I immediately walked back inside and addressed this with customer service. The woman called back to someone in that area and told me the person said I had looked at the wrong tag. What I saw was a discontinued item.

I explained that was wrong I had read the tag. I knew I didnt have the wrong item. She asked if I wanted to meet the gentleman in the isle and I could show him what I was referring to. I said I would.

I walked back to meet him. He did not meet me in the isle and the tag I was referring to had been removed. I went back to customer service and…
