I purchased outside materials today at the Oshkosh Menards store . Four separate fork lift drivers , who I tried to have help me load lumber, fascia,soffit, etc. did not help. Then I found them all by landscaping talking and laughing.

I would think the customer should be helped when possible but today not the case. Next time my business will go another store like Fleet or Lowe's.

Ordered light July 3 as store did not have one. The young kid we had was a jerk from the start. I asked how long order would take, he said could be a day, week, month, who knows. So we asked another worker and he said week to 10 days.

No response on order so I called the 15th. Was told coming in this week. We were in muscatine the 20th so stopped. Was told it had been discontinued and has been on computer for awhile. So I asked if mernards was going to let us know and told it was on computer when the kid put in order.

That kid should be fired. We could have gone somewhere else and had a light.

I shop at the Monona WI menards. I have a walking disability so I always utilize your electric carts. The last 3 times I visited your store, the cart was fully charged, but when I went around the store, in 5 minutes the cart stalled, even one of you sales people could not get it going, I had to terminate my visit.

I truly believe you should remove the old carts and get more reliable ones for us that are disabled. Very inconvenient, I will shop at Walmart in the future as theIr carts work all the time. I mighj aLSO SUGGEST TO MY DISABLED FRIENDS TO DO THE SAME.

I have been doing some remodeling so I bought all of the Haven Shiplap that was on shelf at the Independence location . I ordered 57 more pieces June30th . I advised the manager that I needed it to complete this project no later than today 7/16/19 he guarantee me tens days no problem.

I called twice last week every time not sure when it will come in call back in a day ! So I called last night and was advised truck will be here at 10 am . I went to pick up this morning No shiplap was advised it’s bundled up ,but hasn’t been shipped yet !

So now Im on vacation this week trying finish my job ,but no material like I was promised . I have spent right at $5000 on my projected now i am in a pinch ,waiting game .

loading $2,500 worth materials for our deck. Lumber and other materials were ordered and paid for the day before on June 19, to be picked up the next day when we were going to have access to a trailer. Upon arriving at around 6:00 pm, the guy at the gate said we would have help loading materials.

We only saw 2 guys in the lumber yard warehouse, and a whole lot of trucks and trailers. Thankfully, one of the guys along with myself, my husband, and my brother (by the way we the 3 of us are all in are upper 60s) proceeded to hand pick and load all the lumber, no forklift help at all... took us 2 hours!

The young guy that was helping us said this is what it is like all the time... this was totally ABSURD AND TOTALLY NOT RIGHT !!!! The customer should NOT have to load their own materials,…

one the 5th of july I went to the crestwood Il menards. 25 same ref #on both charges. Talked with synchrony and they where no help said I had to get menards to check into it. Called crestwood and it seemed that the person I talked to could only find one billing for that day said he would contact corp. and call me back.

I bought a 4 piece black and decker saw and drill set. The sign said was $119. Now $99. I had several items and didnt realize until looking at my receipt while walking to my car that I had been charged the original price of $119.

I immediately walked back inside and addressed this with customer service. The woman called back to someone in that area and told me the person said I had looked at the wrong tag. What I saw was a discontinued item.

I explained that was wrong I had read the tag. I knew I didnt have the wrong item. She asked if I wanted to meet the gentleman in the isle and I could show him what I was referring to. I said I would.

Went into Menards Chesterfield , 45500 Marketplace Blvd. Chesterfield, Mi. 99 Unable to locate, asked one of your employees for help. Employee checked on computer, advised out of stock. Went back to store on 6/14/19, purchased large bag of potting soil.

Looked again for Bow Saw unable to locate. Asked employee for help, he checked computer said "they should be there" but he could not locate on shelf. Employee went through doorway, never came back. 99 saw. Just did not care for the response from your team.

I purchased a lawnmower, put it together, put oil and gas in it and it ran for 15 minutes and it died. I tried to restart and would it not start. I took it back to the store and said that since I put gas in it they could/would not return it and I had to take to a service center.

I'm not sure how you know you have a bad lawnmower if you don't put gas in it but, maybe I'm just not that smart. Not happy at all, but I took it to a the recommended service center and it's been two weeks and I still do not have a lawn mower because they say they are really busy.

I got this for my daughter as a present for her new house and I bought this from Menards because that's where I (use) to buy everything for my house and I guess you could say it was my favorite store to shop. Since this fiasco I am now…

Going to get wood yesterday in your Sheboygan yard, As for my self 54 years old my dad 80 years old, up on your top deck to pull lumber down, and watching 3 other older men going threw lumber up there. Thought to my self not one of your fork lift operators around.

Looked down the lane ther were 2 just sitting there watching us. The one said it is company policy to ask the check in person at gate that we would need help. he said after I got done saying get over hear and help.

On May 11, 2019 we ordered a Delta Breez 80 CFM ceiling Exhaust Bath-fan with LED light that was on sale at your store. On May 31, 2019, a sales associate called from the Effingham, IL store and told us that fan was no longer available, and that if we came to their store and went to the plumbing desk that they would find us a comparable fan.

On June 6, 2019, we went to the store and spoke with Peter in plumbing and he told us the fan was no longer available, but he could get us a comparable one but we would have to pay more money for it. I told Peter I believe this is bait and switch and that I believe what they are doing is against the law.

Bogus receipt policy on plants and poor customer service at Hanover Park Illinois location.

Dug the dead plants out the ground and returned them to the store for a replacement. Paid cash and lost the recipt for 4 of the plants. Plants still had the tag on them from original purchase last year.

Have spent thousands of dollars with you over the last few years and have all those recipes but lost this one and the strict bogus policy will not allow managers to make exceptions. Called and talked Juan who was not helpful along with the lady I spoke to in-store.

Came home and spent an hour looking through all my receipts and could not find it. Disappointing to say the least. Bringing this to your attention so that you that this strict policy just cost you thousands of dollars because I refuse…

When thru the registers and used by rebate card. When I asked for a pen (which I always do to write the remaining balance down since you do not allow your cashiers to do any more and I see a lot of customers do now on there own) I was told in a very RUDE way to go home and

get my own pen do it my self. The cashiers name was Jane. Receipt # 73613 01 3686 5/31/19 09:49am 3113 I have never been treated and voiced by anger very strongly with your front end manager. This Jane should be fired.

Went to Menards in Richmond, IN at 9:00 pm to purchase outdoor lawn items. I needed help with a large outdoor screen and furniture. Not a person in sight. Went to the cashier then to the help desk. so aggravated.

What kind of store provides no assistant on large purchases. I left the store very aggravated and bought everything else where. The service was terrible at Menards.

Over charging on same item same week brought it twice in 2 days and ask for price adjustment gave me hard time had. Both sales slips. 98 took both sale slips to service desk and then brought within 2day good luck trying to to get move back for over.

Was at the Muskegon mi menards today with money in hand to purchase a refrigerator. we felt it was a good price but upon examining it we found a noticeable big dent on the top right outside of the door....

we asked the salesman about this and wanted to know if they could lower the price as we could’ve gotten the same refrigerator at Costco for the same price but new. her managing skills need to be worked on.

I am disabled and require use of a motorized cart. I required some bolts . So I went to Menards to pick up thre items. The Menard store is probably the size of 2 football fields, it is massive. When I inquired where the motorized unit was she said, "the are BOTH out" 2 carts for a massive Menards, insane. So I suffered as I obtained what I was looking for. The lesson I learned? No carts, go to Home Depot or Lowes, the pain and suffering is not worth it. On the way to my card, there in the cart collection....a motorized cart, #2 of 2.

I was going to nominate Menards Michigan Center, "disabled non-friendly. We will continue to shop Menards IF I can have a motorized cart.

My Daughter worked at Holiday City for 5 yrs Once she got moved to dry docks and had a new supervisor all hell broke loose. Everyone new her health issues she even was on Doctors orders on walking or standing until her knee healed from surgery Carmen the supervisor did not like her and made her life a living hell.

So Harmony put in for a transfer she even talked to Ron. She turned in all Doctors Orders and still nothing was done. Once Ron had to leave and go out of town Carmen took full advantage and wrote Harmony up and she was then fired.

This is not the only one I know that has lost their job out there. Was advice to her and all others is to hire a Attorney this is Illegal to go against Doctors Orders. But thank to Menards my Daughter has to have both knees replaced.

Hello. I’m writing you regarding the online order For a whirlpool tub which was purchased from your Traverse City, Mi store. My order number is TRVC87827. As you can see we live in Manistee which is 130 miles round trip for us to drive.

We placed this order in good faith that we would get everything in working order. My husband picked up the order on 3/4/19. He left our home in a white out at 5am to get there as soon as the store opened so he could go to work that morning.

Unfortunately when he got home that night and we unpacked the tub it had a huge crack in the flange and was not useable. I called the store on 3/5/18 and spoke with someone in the Bath department who stated he was the manager.

Menards rips off customers! Returned product without receipt, with their customer service rep took my product and gave me a receipt for same—adding that if Menards couldn’t find a receipt in their system that I would get a store credit. LIE!

They kept my product and continued to question me via an insane amount of emails—all stahl tactics to NEVER give you a store credit or your product back. They essentially STEAL your product! How the hell do they get away with this?

I will never spend another dime in their stores! They are swindlers at the retail level! I urge all to shop at Home Depot, Lowes or any other competitor of con artist Menards!

I don't know how long I have shopped at Menards but recently I have determined (1) The employees at each store make up rules; (2) The employees at some stores do not know the rules; or (3) they do not care about customers. In the last few moths I have been building a house and most of our supplies have come from Menards. On December 30.

2018 we special ordered two large garage doors, a pocket door and purchase other items. You did not have the 11% rebate on, but we were told (by person at special order desk) to ask the following week or next time we came for a price adjustment.

My Menards experience was good. My complaint is with the security at the gate to the yard. , I purchased some lumber and sheets of osb. I checked out at 5:19pm and was told to pull around to the gate and enter the yard to pick up my order.

I pulled to the gate about 5:30. The guard, an elderly man with a thin "Errol Flynn" style mustache approached my truck, I held up my paperwork for him, without saying a word, he yanked the papers from my hand, did something on some sort of pad, then

Between my company and products I have purchased in the last 15 years I'm guessing I've spent no less that $250,000 with your store. So, that being said I tried to buy appliances from your store in Buffalo MN and Hutchinson MN and have them delivered to a house we're remodeling in Backus MN.

Yes, it's not the store closest to the remodel but all we wanted to do is order at the store so we could see the product and have them ship from the store closest to the remodel. I guess you can't do that anymore!

Yesterday 12/27/2018 I went to my local Menards to purchase an air purifier. When I got home and opened it, I discovered it was used (the packaging did not indicate it was an "open box" or return in any was - it was sold as new.

I discovered it was used by looking at the filters and the amount of dust accumulated isn't from just having it have home a day and deciding they didn't like it, they used it for at least a week if not longer. I took it back and of course they didn't have any others in stock.

So I asked them to replace the filters and they said no. So then, since the sold me a product that was used, didn't have another in stock, wouldn't replace the filters, I then asked them to give me the equivalent of another manufacturer, for the same price (yes the other one did cost more,…

My wife and I have been Menards customers since we lived on in Wisconsin a few miles from Dubuque Iowa. So we have never had a problem. First off about three weeks ago we were stopped in your airport highway store Holland ohio outside of Toledo. Ohio by a sales perso from direct tv she was very gooe sales person and sold us on the idea of direct tv with att internet.and a nice gift of $175 .0 gift card'

The service was set up to be installed dec 20th from 8;am to 8pm we did find a message saying they did have any techs to install so we called and said the only time avavlible was sat the 22. MY wifen and i At this time decided that that service did not sound good if they couldnt install how could they service us if we did have problems. so we canceled the installation.

I have been waiting in line @ maple Grove MN store for 20 minutes, to return an item and only one register is open. There are plenty of registers open if you wanna check out and pay for something. They’re even a couple of empty lines.

Hi shop here a lot, and I always get good service when checking out. I have a terrible taste in my mouth and can drive five minutes to Home Depot. It will be part of my decision process going forward.

I went in and bought 8 cinder blocks. Took my receipt out back to the yard. Then realized she put down 4 inch wide instead of 8 inch wide. The nice guy in the back loaded my truck with the proper blocks, contacted the gate so I could go around the front to go in.

They, the management, refused to let me out. Said I had to walk through the store to fix the reciept before I could leave. I am a 66 year old above the knee amputee! They didn't care. Besides, the price was the same! 79 cents each!

Mixed feelings as to sending this & below is why I do not like to purchase out of the box or display items. Purchased a Remington 21" gas snow blower at the Forsyth, Illinois store on Black Friday. It was one of (3) that had been on display at one time or another.

They were selling at a reduced price to get rid of them (last years model). Getting it home, it would not start at all. Returned to store within TWO hours to replace.

First I was told I could not exchange it due to me running it & told me to take to a service center. Keep in mind it never started at all. Finally the Asst. manager let me exchange for another one of the three which is running fine.

I ordered a quartz top from you (Riverstone) and received one on the 28th of October. It has a white spot two inches from the sink cut out that I am less then thrilled about. Contacted Riverstone almost immediately who only offered their condolences and nothing else.

They said it was characteristic & inherent. I had read in their literature that there could be white spots before I ordered but that didn't prepare me for what I got. I find their excuse that it's characteristic somewhat flimsy as I have one white spot in 41 sq ft.

My sister who also has the same top from you which is perhaps a bit bigger yet doesn't have any white spots, period! My brother who also has a dark colored quartz top from you doesn't have any of these white spots and I'm willing to bet that not a one of your store…

I have order kitchen cabinets and marble counter top back in July 2018 and they have had me back and forth saying that the counter top has been canceled and that the computer cancels the order same as the kitchen cabinet I got part of my kitchen cabinets and don't have all of my order with me.

I am frustrated at this point because it has been about 4 months since I order the kitchen cabinets and the counter tops and today is November 6 2018 and still having issues with the counter top that the order has not been done and I still don't have all of my kitchen cabinets.

I do not want to have a thanksgiving or a Christmas without my new kitchen. If you guys can get this solve that would be great.

After buying and having 52 bag of cellulose insulation and having it delivered I went to get the machine to blow it in.Ii was indicated that I would be able to use a machine to blow it in when I purchased it instead you have to rent it at 25$ an hour. home Depot who I had checked with earlier was a little higher on price but that would have more than paid for by itself with free 1st 24 hours free for there blower.I think I know where I will use my contractor card in the future and its not Menards who wouldn't budge on a price match.

I was at one of your store tonight at the Maplewood location and I was in the lightings and electrical dept. I was looking to purchase a light and I had a question since the displayed didn’t look like the actual picture on the box.

I approached one your clerk her name is (Shay) who was working at the time to ask a question. She was rudely responded to me as “What? ” Loud and obnoxious . I told her that she was being rude and I wanted to talk to a manger.

She said to me that she is a manager. I have never experienced such rudeness in your store before. Many of your employees at that store always been nice and very helpful to me over the years. We shop only at menards because your customer service is always friendly and helpful.

I have roofers lined up after a tornado came through last week. I verified that I had no special order and made an online order with the Traverse City, MI location because online I was given the option of a 09/21 delivery date.

My credit card was promptly charged. A few hours later I received an email that they could not meet the delivery date. I already have a crew lined up and they have rented a cabin for a place to sleep.

When I called to see if anything could be done Zeth was less than helpful. In addition to not making the delivery date the charges would not be returned until 3-5 days after I cancel the order. I was able to call the Mt.

Pleasant, MI store and talked to Logan who assured me that his store could make the delivery on 09/21. I am very satisfied with the Mt. Pleasant…

I went to Menards in Holland, OH. Where I was going to purchase a char broil infrared grill. They were out of stock. And they were going to price match to Walmart online cost. They checked to see if any Menards nearby were in stock so they sent me to Findlay, OH for one.

When my Dad got there the manager of the Findlay store would not price match it to Walmart cost. The manager was unfriendly. He told him what happened and he drove all the way to Findlay after we had went to the Holland store and they okayed the price match and sent us to his store.

My Dad left with out the grill, it was so frustrating because I though all Menards price matched!

Pole building purchase: 1- Color for steel at Topeka store and paying for material was reversed. New batch of steel was delivered after I notice the mistake. 2- After constructing the framing and getting ready to start steel application I found the lengths were all wrong.

This is where we are at present this all has set me back at least 2 months with my builder and me on the phone getting everthing corrected. Please call me asap as I am extremely upset and needs someone to make this right.

Briggs and Stratton generator... On July 2, 2018 I purchased a 7000 W $800 Briggs and Stratton generator from the Menards store in Belton Missouri. On or about July 16 I called the store to tell them that I had a problem with the brand new generator out of the box and explained that it would start up and run but then quit consistently after only running about 30 minutes.

I tested the unit several times and the motor would fluctuate in RPMs under a small load and it would also just quit running after 30 minutes . that was just their store policy. They suggested that I look up a Briggs & Stratton authorized repair shop and take it to them and they would repair it free of charge.

Please understand that that’s not really what a customer wants to hear on a piece of equipment he had to travel…

On line order was priced higher than display price in the store. On line Customer Service told me to deal with the GM at the store since the order was for store pickup. The GM at the Wichita West location (Mike Anderson) would not honor the lower price. 00.

00 sale for this purchase. 49 sf. 34 sf. Menard's system shows no price changes on this item since 2017. Clearly this may have been incorrectly marked on the floor sample board. 49 sf price. I would appreciate a response back indicating this complaint was received and reviewed.

99 plus tax, the following weekend ,my wife and I went to install but we saw how dark the screen was and decided to take it back and get a regular screen . we lost receipt but we didnt mind getting a store credit slip because we shop there all the time.

25 dollars on a slip, and I said no way, she said thats what it comes out to. 99. 25 . Menards owes me 4 dollars and i want my 4 dollars. i talked to a manager at joliet il.

99 plus tax, but he said thats my problem. 25 . I want my 4 dollars or i'm gunna get an atorney over 4 dollars please settle this before it gets ugly with BBB and tv publicity .
