In June of this year 2019 I called MetLife and spoke to a representative about my deceased mothers life insurance policy, She passed away on September 08 2017, and I was told it was cashed in 3 years prior to her death. and the representative.

He also gave me a name of a female who assisted my mother in the conversation to cash her policy in. Well that female does not exist in our lives. we know nobody by that name. It was fraudulently cashed in.

and I found my life insurance policy and a paper stating that since my father had passed away and he was the owner of my policy that would be the soul owner and to get a beneficiary . So I spoke to a representative and he also said that my life insurance policy was also cashed in.

And I did not ever cash it in. So last month I received a email…

This company is full of incompetent workers. My claims consultant Evan Kambury was very helpful, but everyone else has been terrible. I will now be switching auto insurance companies after dealing with my first claim. I never got to speak with the total loss specialist Arielle Bolds, on my case, because she ignored every one of my calls and voicemails, as well as emails.

I also had to keep bothering the claims consultant to even get her to pay the lienholder. I had just bought brand new tires for $600+ a month prior to my car being totaled, and they only added $70 for tires as payment.

If I knew they were going to do that I would’ve bought some cheap crappy tires to put on to give them with my car. Terrible service, would not recommend to anyone.

It has been 5 weeks after MetLife received my Life Insurance claim. All required information and documents were included, and MetLife acknowledges that. MetLife written police is to pay a Life insurance claim within two week of receipt. As of August 9th, the MetLife customer service representatives, are unable to tell me when they will complete processing my claim, and send me a check.

I plan on filing a complaint with the Arizona Department of Insurance protesting MetLife's abusive business practices.

1) In October / November 2018 I submitted a request for a withdrawal of $8,000 net which was processed and electronically transferred to my checking account. A few days later I received a check in the mail for $8,000 which I shredded because I already received the funds electronically. Per my discussion with your Customer Service Rep there was an extra $8,000 withdrawn from my account because of that check, which needs to be returned with the appropriate interest.

2) In February 2019 I submitted request or a withdrawal of $5,000 which was electronically transferred to the wrong account and after numerous follow ups with MetLife Reps, it was subsequently processed and transferred into my account two different times. I am an attorney representing an estate of a woman who died ("Decedent"). Decedent owned a MetLife life insurance poliicy on her daughter ("Daughter"). I represent the Executor who is also the insured. I have all paperwork evidencing death, appointment as executor and letter of authorization. I have bene on the phone with Met Life customer service for an hour and 40 minutes and I CANNNOT GET ASSISTANCE.

Joseph is an idiot and keeps telling me that he can only speak with the owner - if he can speak to a dead person, good for him - but totally creepy.

The executor stands in the shoes of Decedent - he should be speaking with me.

MetLife sent me a letter saying I was the beneficiary of two policies and enclosed a claim form. I filled out the claim and sent it in on March 26,2019. When I contacted by phone to check, I was told it had been received on March 29,2019.

Since that time I have made many calls. I can get no information at all. No one will tell me the value of policies or where they are in processing. It has been 4 months, and when I call, they transfer the call and no one answers.

My brothers and sister and I were contacted by MetLife over a policy my late mother had who passed in 2008. My brother who is the executor filled out all the forms and information requested and it was received on April 17th, 2019.

It has been well over 90 "business" days that we were told we had to wait. Both my brother and I called and were given what can be best described as the old "run around". ) They won't tell us ANYTHING about the policy!!! Not even the amount??!!!

Then when I asked to speak to a supervisor I was placed on hold and conveniently "forgotten". This is EXTREMELY frustrating for all of us! ) we can expect payment. Thank you for your attention in this matter.

My brother, Steven Gross, & I are beneficiaries of our mother's life insurance policy, listed above. , 2019. He received his portion of funds in March,2019. 26,2019 & returned immediately. I verified with Claims Dept. my form was received Apr.

I've been trying to get a claim processed since March 2019. They keep saying they they haven't received the paper work to process the claim. The first three times I was left on hold. I hung up after 30 minutes.

Ont the fourth call I spoke to a person who kept putting me on hold. I tried to confirm their mailing address to send the claim to. I told them the address that was on their claim form. The woman I spoke to couldn't even verify the address on their own letter.

In the last month I have not been able to log into my account. Each time I try to sign in with "forgot password", get coded and it will still not let me into my account. Each time this happens I call customer service and they change my password but when I try to get in, it states that my account is not recognized. I am totally frustrated.

I was a LOYAL MetLife advisor for 36 years and made the transition with Mass Mutual when we were sold, over the past few months MetLife's customer service has gone from bad to worse. I have had elderly clients pass away, I complete the death claim paperwork and when I follow up 2/3 weeks later I am told it will be another 4 to 6 weeks. This is wrong!!

Customer service is nonexistent! I was bounced back and forth between FMLA dept and the STD department for two hours this morning. Each department kept saying the other department has to handle my issue!!! They were given a return to work date by my surgeon over a week ago and they still haven’t released it to my employer!

I am due per my employer and per my surgeon to return to work TOMORROW!!!!! And I can’t until Metlife faxes the information they have collecting dust on a desk somewhere. I LIVID! This has been an ongoing issue since I filed my claim two months ago!!!

Even the simplest of requests becomes a drawn out production consisting of multiple phone calls with obscenely long wait times and God awful elevator music

Dear Mr. Khalaf, I am the son, trustee, and executor of my mother's estate. This in regards to the two life insurance policies which were held by my mother, Josephine A Eichele, who passed away on 4/13/2019. Our complaint is that first all "this is the SORRY ASS insurance we ever had! We only got it because of our agent that we had known for many years, which was a major MISTAKE. We mean a mistake, by getting insurance from a friend.

We have been trying to get a roof since 2009 after Hurricane Katrina. Most of our neighbors have gotten a new roof. Maybe because they have better insurance than METLIFE. We have been fighting with your Lying ASS adjuster(s) for the State of Mississippi.

MY mother died April 29, 2019. I contacted MetLife to redeem her life insurance policy. The sent me a form to be completed along with a letter of instruction. The latter was obvious vague in that it stated that an original death certificate was needed only if the policy amount was more than $100,000. Therefore, I did not send a death certificate since it was much less than that amount.

Not having heard from them, I called on June 2nd to inquire about the benefit. I was told that they had received my info on May 22 but the file was incomplete bc there was no death certificate. It was then that I learned that a copy was necesary instead of an original. In addition, it would take another 30 business days to receive a check! on March 27 2019 I recieved a Metlife life insurance claim package for my mothers life insurance policy . WHAT A CROCK OF S**T. Once we recieve all your imformation,we're able to process a typical claim within 5-7 business days Met life recieved all the information April 29 th 2019 certified mail.

I would like to notify someone of the extreme frustration I experienced trying to take advantage of the opportunity for Citi employees to enroll in GUL and/or AD&D. I was routed back and forth between MetLife and Connect One when attempting to signup for the AD&D which was not an option available on the MetLife website.

Applying for the Group Universal Life was not much better. Because my wife has been previously diagnosed with diabetes she was required to fill out a statement of health. FRAUDULENT STOP ORDER INSTRUCTION On the 11th February 2019 I discovered that I had an Investment Policy No: 419 688 1633 which I did not applied for, that have been deducting by Stop Order Instruction from my Salary since October 2017 up until February 2019.

Immediately, I laid a complain with Vryburg Brach in the North West and claim a Refund of which I received, of the inconviniency that I have experienced since then, if there is no compensation or re-imbursement in a form of Interest. I have been trying to get a loan from my company sponsored 403b program. Distributions has been working on this sense 12/21/2018. I spoke to 4 different supervisors and nothing. I just got off the phone with another supervisor and he will call me back next Tuesday the 22nd of Jan.

I am a MetLife Auto policy holder. My daughter's vehicle was hit by another MetLife policy holder who accepted responsibility for the accident. Now this happened Thanksgiving Day forcing me to pay out of pocket for rental due to claims not being open.

It's been hell since then. I had to go back and forth to get reimbursed for my out of pocket payment. The car was non repairable or totalled. Now this vehicle she had 2 weeks brand new. Once this happened it forced us to have to turn in the rental.

I have implant coverage with Metlife. I have already had half of the process of an implant done,yet Metlife refuses to pay anything. I have appealed, however; my appeal has been denied stating that I should have gotten dentures for ONE tooth.

I have been out of work since January this year on short term disability. On three different times my pay has been cut off due to waiting on Dr. notes. It is beyond me to figure out how you just up and get well from congestive heart failure and atrial fibrillation in a month or so but, I did not get the Doctors notes in time so we stopped your pay twice this year.

Now I am going on long term disability with COPD which has been a problem throughout my disability. Of course just because I was going on long term disability in 30 days with out the notes from my Dr. visit we will cut off Mr.

Called from a lender for something simple. In total I spoke to 5 people to have a correction made that took all of 2 minutes. The policy was new so I was advised that I needed to speak to the agent, David Rivera. Okay. Well, Mr.

Rivera could not be bothered even though he left me a message that he could make the change. When I called him back, he promptly transferred me back to customer service. He could not be bothered. Service training is in order.

My question, which has yet to be answered, is why is my Metlife Policy 852532928 PR, purchased approx. 33 years, dividends not covering the Policy's Annual Premium? I have several other Whole Life Insurance Policies with another company, that aren't as old as my Metlife Policy, and their Annual Dividends are paying for the Annual Premiums with interest.

Alcoa switched a pension Annuity to Met Life beginning October. 14 that I was receiving from Alcoa. I have not received a hard copy explaining the gross,st tax and fed tax for the new annuity and if they changed my tax deduction - it should be 0. What changed?

Mailed a payment using overnight delivery service on 9/7/18 - they (Met Life) received payment on 9/8/18 at 9:35am. Have USPS paperwork to prove this. My payment was due on 9/9/18. I got a letter on 9/12/18 telling me my policy is going to lapse. 29 to them.

l was informed by staff that they will accept only cheque from the policy holder. When l insisted that the change of rules should be conveyed to the policy holder in advance the staff present there started misbehaving with me.

After lot of persuasion they gave in writing the reason for refusing the cheque, but refused to sign it with saying that they are not there to listen to your dictates. The staff present there were without l cards & when l asked them their identity they got furious & misbehaved & threatened me.

Horrible customer service. I was told following receipt of a letter dated April 23rd that I would be receiving a packet within six to eight weeks so that I could begin collecting on a pension set up for me by my employer.

It is now July 12th and when I called earlier this evening, the customer service representative said that he could not find any record of a packet at all. I would NOT recommend doing business with this company at all.

Bathroom had water damage from hot water heater. I filed a claim that turned into another. Now Metlife does not want to restore bathroom back to a usable state. Two estimates have been submitted but claims adjuster states she doesn't understand why the quotes are more than insurance adjuster.

I'm a single mother that's trying me best to work and support my family. I can't buy food for my household I have used all my 401k trying to pay my rent. I'm unable to live just paying MetLife along.
