I had the misfortune of going to Midas recently to get my daughter’s car (Nissan Rogue 2018 ) serviced for a basic oil change. The manager Mr Anthony was a very rude guy and ramped up my bill to $178.88 and added things I didn’t need. At that time I trusted him, only to drive my car from the Midas service station with the following

1) All four wheels had lose lug nuts 2) There was no Coolant / The invoice said coolant level was fine perfectly fine 3) Tire pressures were 29 psi exactly what I drove in with 4) Windshield washer fluid was more than half empty 5) Changed windshield wiper blades that were working fine 6) Not even sure if they balanced the wheels as the car did not drive right. 7) I repeatedly told the manager to make sure the tire pressures were corrected and I was reassured…

00 same thing it went in for came out the same way. My Jaguar emblem missing says order me a new one and gave me a tracking number in Japan. USPS says I may never see it. They knew it when they ordered it.

In the summer of 2021, I took my car into Midas for an oil change. On Monday, October 25, 2021, I took it back when the oil change indicator light came on. After I had been waiting 1 1/2 hours, the desk technician told me that their service tech had screwed the oil pan on incorrectly and shredded the screw during my previous visit.

He said they would have to put in a new oil pan - at their cost - to address the problem. I was also told it could take several hours and they'd have someone drive me home to wait for the work to be completed. m.

When I arrived, a different desk clerk informed me that he didn't know without looking himself whether I'd need a new oil pan and that he didn't know how long it would take. I had a 3:00 appointment, so I needed my car by 2:30.

THE MANAGER, RYAN. IS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND RUDE WHEN IT COMES TO SERVICE. I HAD AN APPOINTMENT ON 10/18/21 FOR AN OIL CHANGE. WHEN IT WAS TIME FOR M E TO GO, I ASKED HIM TO CHANGE MY HEAD BOARD TO 3,000 MILES SO MY TRUCK CAN LET ME KNOW WHEN IT IS TIME FOR ME TO GET MY NEXT OIL CHANGE.

Took our truck in to have brakes done. The brakes never squealed until they replaced them. 00 to replace the pads but we said forget it. So they said there wasn’t anything else they could do, end of discussion. They have no record whatsoever of our visits, and we took the truck in several times. What crap customer service.

These guys are 100% assholes that take advantage of seniors. We want these guys FIRED or looked into.

I been taking my new Lexus for maintenance and prevention of any kind of damage to Midas in Victorville CA , coming to find out my new car has a leak now and coolant leak. I been taking my car to Midas for all my maintenance trusting their work of best of knowledge in doing their job.

I took my car back to them to address the issues that they left upon my new car. They refused to to replace and fix the damages that they caused on my new car. They are in denial and they are lying to me in my face that they did a very poor job purposely plotting to get more money in their pocket.

Now I have to park my new car because of the damages they created which is unprofessional and unfair. Im demanding that they fix the problem they had caused

My complaint isn’t even one star. Had an appointment for 8:00 on Saturday morning. Show up, another customer goes in front of me for an issue with their tires. 8:35- nothing still. They’re short staffed… the manager tells me it’s not his fault I’m not patient and that the guy in front of me has made them lots of money so far.

As though my money for an oil change and tire rotation didn’t matter. I asked for my keys back and left. The staff were rude, didn’t listen to me at all and successfully just lost my business and everyone else I come into contact with regarding their business. Worst ever!

Went to Midas on Miller road in Flint Michigan today with a concern of left front wheel bearing. Said they couldn't find any problem but recommended new front struts and rear shocks. 00. I declined the work to get a second opinion as The noise was distinctly coming from right front.

I asked if I owed anything for the inspection. They said just for the oil change. WHAT? I didn't ask for an oil change nor did anyone discuss it with me. That's just bad business practice. That oil change should have been free. Thank you for listening.

I visited Midas R55 (Monavoni) today, they replaced my battery and it was not tested because I guess to was almost knock off time. I drove off and when I accelerate the car switches off, before the the battery replaced it was not having that sort of issue.

Immediately I went back to report that, but almost everyone was yelling on me and they told me to come back tomorrow as is already 17h00. Out of all that, I hate the fact that the the guy named "Sidney" he was shouting at me and not giving me the solution.

I felt like he took advantage of me because I'm a lady. When I ask them of their names no one was willing to provide me with their names but the only thing they were emphasizing was for me to come tomorrow.

I wish I could give them a 0 rating. I took my truck in about 2 weeks ago two get dual exhaust put on. 00. 00 at another location. Since Midas was the closest to my house even though it was going to cost a little more I picked them to do the work.

I went back about two weeks later and left my truck their over night so they could start on it the next morning. 00. 00. 00 more. I went back and read the customers reviews on this store and found a pattern where customers are over charged for having their car repaired.

I have worked in Law enforcement for 24 years and the last 13 years as a criminal Investigator and this place has questionable practices. I filed a compliant with the corporate office to make them aware of this.

I went to midas because I needed brakes done, not only did they have to do the brakes but also back cylinder, and rotors. And they went out in 6 months, had to have them done again(brakes), they said faulty equipment.

Okay then they told me I had to have my brake fluid flushed. Did that. Cost over 1000 dollars. Ended up doing to another mechanic for same issues and had to have rotors and brakes redone! (I seen them they were bad) then they told me i needed to flush my brake fluid, now why would i need to do that if midus already did?

So i paid over 1000 for nothing. I was robbed and very unhappy. I WILL NOT be recommending your company. I would rather tell people NOT to go to midus. They shouldn't take advantage of people.

So I had a tire in need of a plug. There was an obvious leak where I located a screw in the tire. I dropped off the tire and was told it would be ready in about an hour. So far so good. FYI.

I ve been been a auto and marine mechanic for over 40 years. 00. Shocked, I asked why so much for a plug in a tire. The response was, “ Midas trains their technicians to remove the tire from the rim and plug the tire from the inside” .. so I said REALLY?

and I had to laugh. 00. Upon inspecting the tire, I saw the plug was installed from the outside and the tire was obviously never removed from the rim. This Midas is located in Bartonsville in PA on route 611.

I took my 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee in because my headlight was not working. I simply wanted to know what was wrong. I had all ready installed a new bulb and still nothing. They were asked to call me before any work was started because I wanted to know what the cost would be.

It was an hour and a half later and still nothing. So I called and the man told me they had found a bad wire and would replace it. I said well what about the cost? He said it should be $110.

Bergenfield/Dumont NJ Shop. Dropped my car off Weds. for Thurs. service to 1) Check battery & alternator, 2) replace brake pads. As of Saturday, only battery/alternator checked out OK. Now told they have problem getting brake pads for the 2002 Caddy & car won't be ready till Monday. Not satisfied at all!!

I took my daughter’s car in for an inspection and to have my front suspension looked at (expected ball-joint replacement). I told the shop manager that my car was under warranty and the ball-joint was covered. ) He also failed the inspection for front brakes and rotor condition, even though he graded them at a 6B, which in PA, passes (minimum being 2/32).

All together, without warranty coverage, he quoted me at $1500 for the work suggested. Livid at this estimate, I decline proceeding and took it to another reputable mechanic. Not only did he assess the brakes and rotors the same, but passed them, he indeed determined the suspension issue WAS the lower ball-joint!

I would have spent over $1100 in UNNECESSARY repairs and still not have fixed my suspension issue. This is theft by deception…

I arrived at the Midas in Hamilton on Eerie at 8 o’clock when they opened for an oil change. The manager was there walking around opening the doors to the garage. I waited an hour and 40 mins for the oil change to be finished.

They didn’t bring by car back until 830 and didn’t start working on it until 840 when another employee showed up. I asked the manager at 915 how much longer it would be when he came out to talk about my air filter and brakes. He said 10 mins.

Almost 25 mins later he comes from the back and says it will be 1 more min. 10 mins later my car was finally finished. No other cars were there for a oil change and now I’m starting to understand why.

I received $10 off which is the coupon I originally intended on giving them. Why say you’re open at 8 when you’re not ready…

Took my car into Midas on Glenway ave cincinnati ohio to get an oil change all 4 tire rotated hoses and fluids checked. They did not rotate my tire when asked about the tire rotation they the manager's response was I don't know what they did.

I had to tell the manager it was not done as I was watching them work on my vehicle and I had my tires marked before I went in and they were still in the same place. On top of that they did not rotate my the tires to the specifications of a front wheel drive car they were rotated to the specifications of a rear wheel drive car.

I'm very dissatisfied with the service.

This Midas (Carpentersville, IL) is awful! The people who work there are scammers, liars and cheats. I took my car there in January for an oil change and tire rotation, paying full price for both. Unfortunately I didn't find out until a month later when I had to have a tire repaired that they never preformed the tire rotation.

About a year before that I had to buy a new tire and the new tire was still in the same position so a tire rotation had never been completed. Figuring that maybe a mistake had been made I took the car back to this Midas for another oil change and tire rotation on June 26th.

This time I marked one of the tires. I told the man who checked me in, Adam McClane, that I was certain that the tire rotation wasn't performed in January and to make sure it was done this time.…

Went into east Greenbush ny Midas weeks ago to have work done , was suppose to be just 4 new tires and alignment and front wheel bearings , then turned into an axle being bad and then it was a tie rod what was supposed to be maybe a $800 tops turned into over $2100 !!

Then I get my car back 3 days later when it was suppose to be a day it wasn’t aligned properly my axle was falling out and clunking it was 100% worse then when I brought it in and then I bring it back for an alignment still wasn’t up to par another day out and then I just bring in in for an alignment mind you 300 miles on my brand new tires and

I’m 37 weeks pregnant took my car for a oil change so it’s all ready for when baby arrives. And after driving 4 blocks my engine light and couple others comes on, and it’s hard to put into park when I pull over. Had vehicle checked stated everything checked out drove from Indianapolis to Atlanta 500 miles found out we had a bad belt and pulleys If everything was checked as they marked off it would have been noticed we were lucky that I looked when I did or we would have been stranded somewhere

I do a lot of service with Midas I was going on a road trip from Indianapolis to Atlanta, I had service done on the 21 of June 2021 Asked that everything be checked because we were traveling out of town when I got my bill all inspections were checked with green I even asked if everything was good I was told Yes. We drove 550 miles when we arrived I observed something hanging from the bottom of my vehicle, it was the tension belt I took it up to a Midas shop and showed them that everything was checked off as being good

I thought that I could get good service and get the work done but not be charged $790 dollars to get three pulleys and a belt replaced I will never return to Midas I was just the luck that we had a found the belt bad in the city were we stopped

I brought my car to the shop located at 8835 Veterans Blvd, Metairie, LA 70003 for a simple oil change. A couple of days later as I’m driving, my car starts to kill while I’m driving, my oil light and check engine lights both come on and before I could even pull over, the car completely died on me and

I had to get two gentleman to push my car off of the Main Street. Come to find out, when they changed my oil they did not screw the cap all the way back on which caused all of the oil to leak from my car and as a result of that, my engine was blown.

Being that the oil light was on, I attempted to add oil and when I did, even ounce that I poured in came right out the bottom of my vehicle I called Spee Dee Midas immediately and they sent one of their employees over to where I was broke down…

On Father's Day I had gone to Spee Dee Midas in Watsonville CA for a transmission flush. I was told within 15 minutes that the job was complete. I was charged $217. 00 for them to top off? It takes at least 15 minutes to drain fluids.

4 mouths ago I took my car to Midas to get a inspection and told them that my left front in sound like it was medal to medal. they replace the wheel arm an soilder the flex pipe. Pick up the car still sounds like it was medal to medal.

was told to take it back to Midas to replace and fix the problem. that was on 6/19/2021. Richard said he would take care of it his self.

Also was call me which I thought to tell me what was going to be done he never call. so I pick up my car and get didn't get fix the right way. They put and drill more holes into the frame and add more bolts still got the sound medal to medal.

Can you imagine, using a groupon to get a simple oil change and have your car completely ruined? 9 miles) and all of the oil was gone and the motor started so seize up. I parked and had this garbage of a shop tow it back to their location.

Oil change invoice 0010274 Floor mat grease/oil foot prints all over carpet. Motor compartment standing oil on motor. Motor smoking burnt oi from oil spilt on motor Had to wait 1 hr for filter tok be dilivered Car had finger prints on door handle and steering wheel.

I took my f150 for a Oil change and a tire rotation and not only did the price double was told that they could not rotate my tires because their shop wasn’t big enough which was total BS

I had an oil change done, I'm a regular customer but this time I had an appt. But was there 2 hrs, was told I needed a new oil plug, it was installed, a week later my oil is leaking, took my car to my repair shop, was told leaking from oil plug, not installed right, had to get a whole new pan, $800, I went back to midas ,talked with manager John mann.

He said he would not do anything, I asked for corporate number , he said he did not have it, gave me a number for akron district manager, left 2 messages no response, so I'm contacting you. I can give you number/person where my car was fixed, they can explain why it was midas fault.

I feel I should be reimbursed for the oil pan job that had to be done. Please contact me so we can get this resolved properly. Thank you!
