Oil change invoice 0005753 Wrote a complaint earlier wanting to follow up with photos Also wanting to let you know the condition of shop. Employees did use any interior protection. Employees did not clean there hands or clothing when entering my car.

I am not looking for compensation just think this is worst service ever. Not having the filter in stock CV changed the quick oil change to 1hr + oil change. Oil and grease on the carpet is unacceptable. Removing the oil filter without placing rags around the housing is going to make a mess All could have been avoided by taking the time to do the obvious The problem is that the manager was in the shop.

Offended by the show they were playing in the lobby which had profanity and nudity and there were children outside that if they would have came into the lobby and looked up they would have seen and heard a rated R movie being played while the guys behind the counter were laughing. Here awhile back, I took my van in because of the noise that it was making, and the smell of exhaust inside the vehicle. between the main muffler and the tail pipe. They said they can not get that (which I could not hardly believe, but they are suppose to be the experts, not me.

So as a replacement they just welded a piece of straight pipe in its place. So I left with the van, as I drive this every day, noticed it still makes just as much noise as it did, plus, could still smell exhaust fumes.

So I took it back, the they did some more welding to try, I presume to fill in all the holes from first welding job they missed. Took van home again, still sounded the same noisy way, and when running could still smell it.

Took it back the third time, not sure what they did, if anything, but still…

I took my car to Midas at 1211 Gallatin Pike in Madison on Thursday (6/3/21) because my check engine light came on. I asked them to diagnose the issue and they informed me that it was due to the fuel injection system and another part that I am unfamiliar with.

They said they could fix it right away and I told them go ahead because it seemed like no big deal. Then when we pick it up and get in it to leave, we notice the light is still on and it still sounds rough.

They then tell me I need a new timing belt. I ask to just leave it there and I will come back for it after that is done. The guy then insists that I bring it to their location in Goodlettsville on Rivergate because he says he trusts the mechanic there more with that task than the one in Madison.

The next morning I had it towed…

I had an oil change done, I'm a regular customer but this time I had an appt. But was there 2 hrs, was told I needed a new oil plug, it was installed, a week later my oil is leaking, took my car to my repair shop, was told leaking from oil plug, not installed right, had to get a whole new pan, $800, I went back to midas ,talked with manager John mann.

He said he would not do anything, I asked for corporate number , he said he did not have it, gave me a number for akron district manager, left 2 messages no response, so I'm contacting you. I can give you number/person where my car was fixed, they can explain why it was midas fault.

I feel I should be reimbursed for the oil pan job that had to be done. Please contact me so we can get this resolved properly. Thank you!

My name is Clay, I have been a loyal 13 year customer of Midas and the original store manager Paul has always treated me with dignity and respect.

However, for the past 2 days the store manager that is currently in the store is the most disrespectful professional that I have encountered in 50 plus years on this planet. An appointment was set for 8 am 6/4/2021 for AC repair, the car was charged and the AC still did not kick on.

Approximately 12;30 pm I walked across the street as I did not hear from the store, when I inquired about my car the store manager said, "Oh, yeah let me see what's going on.... " After some time I was quoted a price and told it is a 3 hour job this was around 2pm.

I paid Midas $2500 to install a new compressor, per their recommendation to fix the AC in my car. The AC in the car continued to not work, and in total we went to Midas 4 times. They recommended a $3,500 wiring job, two weeks after the new compressor, to fix the AC.

I took the car to the Hyundai Dealership for a second opinion. " I need Midas to honor a refund for the faulty compressor. Since a) the compressor was faulty and b) when I brought the car back they suggested an additional $3,500 in repairs.

I have the paperwork, and the old compressor, and want a refund.

I went recently in Midas for a wheel bearing they did a worse job and charged me for a wheel bearing that doesn't feel or look fixed unless they did the wrong side I went in for. albans VT location has done a horrible job and don't feel like they even worked and fixed what was supposed to be done.

I would like something done. There's way more problems then just this at the same time as getting the wheel fixed. I thought Midas was supposed to be top notch mechanical repair shop.

Midas in Madison East wisconsn showed an attitude when I requested different appointment while could not keep up earlier one due to my part time job.

I thank you for not doing service to me since I got my oil change at half the price at a reliable place. I was loyal customer. I hope they change their attitude for good. Your manager Justin was a great person until he disappointed me yesterday with an unscrupulous attitude. I will refrain fro visiting your franchise any more until you correct yourself. My daughter's car was in my husband's name, and when I took it back, I started gathering invoices due to discrepancies. That's when I discovered they had been charged $120 to "diagnose" front seat (which I'm assuming they didn't reach an actual diagnosis since they suggested it be removed and rebuilt) then I simply changed the FUSE and it's FINE?!

Seems a bit questionable when a homemaker can SUCCESSFULLY "DIAGNOSE" a power seat issue and a MECHANIC could NOT? There have been other "questionable" charges but none as BLATANTLY insane.

I stop at Midas Parklands in western cape at 1725 on my GPS phone to get urgent part for my car. I got out of my vehicle and walk towards the door and the security card closed it in my face.

Operating hours state your open till 1730. At 1730 the door was open and the staff left. I confronted the security guard and he said we closed at 1730. I asked him to look at his watch and it was 1731. Very disappointed.

My complaint is in regards to the manager at 3021 Gallows Road. This guy is just a straight up piece of work. I had my safety inspection done there and no matter what time of day I call he says that he cannot do a follow up safety inspection "because it is closed now".

He also quoted me 3x more to fix a power steering pump than any other place I received a quote from. Come to find out, I didn't even need to get the work done and he was just trying to swindle me.

No wonder this location only has 2 stars. Would literally never go here again for anything.

I would like to give this company zero stars I got screwed over on my truck. I go in and ask him to find out why am I turbo doesn’t have boost where is it leaking air. They told me it’s leaking at the top of the y pipe ie; the upper pipe coming off the exhaust manifolds to the turbo.

They said the flange is cracked. I said OK what’s it gonna cost I was quoted 700 for the pipe and 700 labor. We’re talking about a $250 pipe and maybe three hours labor which is what it took me and I’m not experienced or have a lift.

It was the flange that was cracked it was a flex section down lower on the pipe which I bought for $16 and had a friend well for free. They told me that my batteries were dead and that hey needed to be replaced.

My car was getting an oil change there at Midas. When I picked it up and left, my transmission was broken and the car stalled, almost causing me to crash. I called a tow truck and took it to my actual dealer, who said that they likely changed the wrong fluid and ruined the transmission.

Repairs are $10,000+ and they refuse to take responsibility. The car was very new as well (just about 2 yrs old).

Horrible Experience, Crazy Turn Around

Very disappointed in our experience at Midas. We brought our daughter's car in about a year ago to have the front right strut replaced. It was replaced however the car continued to make noise for the past year and they could never find something wrong with it. Yesterday Greg the manager called us to let us know that they were ordering the part and fixing the car and that I could pick it up today. I received a phone call from a Lee or Leo from Midas this morning telling me that they didn't know it was wrong with the car and he had no information about ordering a part or fixing it and Greg was no longer with the company. Hello I went to midas on August 3rd to see why I was leaking break fluid on the break job they had just done for me 2 weeks prior on my 2009 dodge challenger red. They told me that I had a failed caliper so I paid and additional 460 dollars for breaks and oil change.

Not to mention not even two weeks before I paid for over 650 dollars for the new breaks and roters. I could have died today do to them not putting all of the bolts into the caliper replacement causing my whole wheel to come off my vehicle.

Went to Midas at 967 Central Avenue, Albany, NY 12205. I asked to find an exhaust leak on my car. Was told gasket needed to be replaced and that a patch was used to seal the leak charged $324. I in turned took to Monro had it put on the lift to see what was done.

It was a quick fix job when the gasket connecting the catalytic converter and exhaust pipe should have been cut off completely and a piece of straight pipe welded on in it's place. I was double charged for this monkey ass exhaust job and I still here the noise I took in the first place to get serviced.

But the reality of the matter is, I'm spending hundreds off dollars for repairs for my car and the problem is more persistent then it was initially.

I'm paying through this service that you guys use, called easy pay and its breaking me. I need to take my car somewhere else and I just can't afford to. 90 for two front struts two springs 2 sway bar links and two front mounts and a battery when I was told there were doing front and back they left the back alone said that the rattle was a heat shield lose and brought it back again for the rattle said the same thing so the rattle continued so I took it to.

Another mechanic and the shocks were bad and cut springs and both rear mounts were broken that was the rattle I want a refund cause I was took and lied to I’m going to send this to the bbb and the governor because you mechanic s took me doing this pandemic!

Invoice #2039106 6/20/2020 - 9:55 am.

Took 1976 Ford F-250 Ranger for an an oil change. Parked it at home over night and there was a large oil poodle under the vehicle in the morning. Checked and it is still leaking today. Appears to be coming from the plug on the oil pan. It has never leaked oil before.

This notification is to protect myself in the event the oil plug has been stripped by the mechanic Thank you!

on 5/29/2020 i went to the palos hills ill midas with a oil change coupon the service manager was on the phone and continued his conversation for 10 minutes without acknowledging me (very disrespectful) and when he seen the $17,76 oil change coupon he rolled his eyes ! than went into the computer and looked up my 2002 chevy avalanche and told me i need a oil pan !

The front desk guy is very rude and has no customer service. I came in to change a flat tire into a spare tire. He told me it would be $20 to do so. He did not know where my spare tire was.

He told me that he has to charge me extra for finding the spare tire as he was not familiar with how to take it out as in most cars it is easy to do so. I asked him if he wanted me to go somewhere else?

I requested and oil change package, this includes the oil change. tire rotation, installation of a new filter, up to 6 quarts of oil, brake inspection, and a top off of the washer fluids. I went in this Midas shop at 5914 Penn Circle N, Pittsburgh PA 15206 at about 4:30 pm.

My car was pulled in about 15 minutes later. At about 5;00 pm, my car was being pulled out, and the representative states that I was done. I never saw my car hydro jacked in the air. I questioned and commented at this time that my tires were not rotated.

Every time I have work done on my vehicle, Why should I pay for the I notice there is this fee, this is such a RIP OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!! Why should I pay for the Mechanics tools to work on my vehicle. On December 31st I had my vehicle repaired at Midas Store @ 2811 N St. Joseph Ave. Evansville, In. I asked them to replace the exhaust pipe part number 53294. ) Tie Rod Left needs replaced (5) Computerized Wheel Alignment.

I told the person I was talking to that all I needed done was the exhaust pipe repaired. They indicated they were having some trouble with the exhaust bolts that they had broke some off and had to loosen some of the above parts to replace the exhaust pipe.

They completed the job and called me that evening and said it was complete and ready for pick up. I picked up the vehicle and drove home which is approx. 2 miles from that shop. I got in the vehicle the next day and the left side front wheel started making noise and I was having trouble steering the vehicle on curves…

On January the 6th I took my 2004 Ford explorer Eddie Bauer Vin# 1FMZU63K44UA44119 into the Midas (Aiken SC location on 880 E. Pine Log Rd) Location because my air conditioner stayed on constantly even when switched the dial to heat and turned it on high. 78.

I got in the vehicle and began to drive it home and tried the heat and it worked.

However, when i tried the air because it was hot that day, it no longer worked and now the heat stayed on consistently. I immediately took the vehicle back and explained to the service technician that it wasn't repaired completely.

I'm not from the area, my dog was having surgery and my brake line went on my 1998 silverado. I know something about my truck so I knew where the leak was coming from, it was not in the brake or caliper.

Simple brake line needed to be replaced on the right front brake. Phil confirmed the $24 price for the line. I noticed there was no labor rate displayed so when Phil quoted me $340 for the brake line I knew, for the 2 hrs he said it would be take, $340 was high.

I asked what the labor rate was and he told me $137, which is robbery. I was in a bind, I needed to pick my dog up by 5 and I didn't know where else to go. Job is complete and a $340 bill is now $535!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Midas Muffler Shop Lumberton, NJ. 1627 rt 38. Salvatore Marotte, manager. Just Robbed me without a gun.

First of all, I walk in with the exhaust parts, pipe expansion joint and 3 gaskets. That I purchased. All I needed was a piece of pipe about 12-14 inches long he had to fabricate. And put in my pipe.

He says he can do it no problem. 00 exhaust system. 00 I said ok, he tells me it will be done tomorrow. 00. 00. That was the quote. Now he's trying to bullshit me up well it took a lot of time we had to do this and that put on clamps, etc.

Anyone with have a brain knows you have to put on Clamps. Then he states oh this we shouldnt have charged you for, so Im taking it off. And this shouldnt be there so this is comming off. Of course I dont know what this and that is.

2019. 2020 because it was still making grinding sounds. Alex, the assistant manager, advised the front brakes were repaired and that the back brakes are needing repair. He further explained that only the front brakes were checked in November because those were easy to see.

Despite our request for both front and back brakes to be check, the back brakes were not checked at that time because the tires would have had to be removed; and they were not removed, assumed the grinding was only from the front brakes. Alex offered to take $50 off the cost to repair the back brakes.

My husbands Mini Cooper would not Start. We tried everything to get it start.

Finally he call Midas and ask if they worked on them. Yes they did. We had car towed there. Called to let them know. They called us when they got it and said it was a fuse and they cleaned the battery cables.

Did not say how much would cost but we figured not much since it was a fuse. They charged us $318 plus insulted my husband. Unreal. Never again!!! I intend to talk to someone about this.

I recently was down at the Murfreesboro Shop & they stated there wasn’t anything they could do for me; because the service was performed in 2017.

However, they put the wrong part on (it was the catalyst converter). I know it was the wrong part & it isn’t under warranty; however, it’s not right! Since they put the wrong part on to start with....! since you put on the wrong part?

I was very disappointed on the service I had today. I came in for a oil change and tire rotation. Well the oil change was done I think I’ll be checking that shortly. I ask three times about my tire rotation which is supposed to be included in with my oil change.

Well I was told if needed. I know for a fact it’s needed. Even at that I paid to have it done and was completely ignored. Thy brought me my truck back and told me my tired were rotated. Well no thy were not.

The mark from the police was still on my same tire for parking times. ( 2 hour limit ) Anyway I wouldn’t trust Midas again in Des plains IL. So now not only did that take up my time I have to go pay again for the same services.

I took a 2001 Acura to the Perrysburg store on Monday night. Dropped it off for oil change, tune up and to check tires. Have had problems with the car randomly not starting. They said they would contact me the next morning.

After noon I called them and they said the car was dead. They told I would have to pay $140 to have the car moved into the shop area and that they had no idea what was wrong with it or what kind of repairs it needed until they got diagnostics on it.

I went to the Midas on Street Road Bensalem, PA. 19020 11/2/2019 in hopes of getting financed for tires, which I did. m When i returned I asked Jason to hook me up with Cooper or Goodyear Tires, he had sumitomo tires put on my Kia Rio, which are ok, but not what I ordered.

I also stated more than once I wanted the best of my 4 old tires as a spare and an oil change. I was very tired from my 3 and a quarter hours wait, that I left and looked over my invoice when I got home.

Midas in Lafayette, Indiana on Sagamore Pkwy is an institution. They've treated me well since I started driving. Over the years construction on Sagamore Pkwy has left a foundation crack in the floor and dated the orange floor tiles, now cracked.

But 6 years ago they hired Jona Ewen from Pep Boys. This was the best decision the owner has made. Jona is the reason i continually return. She's a woman and this puts me at ease. She's professional and kind hearted. I trust her.

She manages the boys in the shop with the ease and grace of a skilled forman. I am doggedly loyal to Midas Lafayette solely because of her and her spirit.
