While booking a cruise to the Greek Isles I spent over an hour on the phone with an agent and a significant amount of time in your booking engine. I was linked there by Google directly to the cruise page.

I also received mailers with the same promotions depicted in the booking engine. The “Get All Free at Sea” promo. Only AFTER booking was I made aware that “Open Bar” and “Free WiFi” and “Free Premium Dining” were greatly limited and had significant terms and conditions that apply.

The link at the bottom of the booking engine for “Additional Terms and Conditions” is greatly obscured by the “Chat with Agent” button or is dead completely. Nor was it explained to me by my personal cruise consultant that these terms “Open Bar” etc were not in fact what the names suggest.

I have waited 2 years for my cruise my cruise 5 months before my cruise they want to cancel it because I had asked for a refund on my excursion from last year Because the ship did not sail again. The charge total was about a $168 .

the room was still paid for and they are using that as a loophole to return all of my money and charge me full price 5 months before my cruise. So this is what I get for waiting 2 years for his years for a cruise then getting my money sent back and charged additional $3000.

Agent Diane Rizzo falsely stated that all Norwegian crew and guests will have received a booster before sailing. I challenged her on this information and she waffled big time.

Also, I asked why Norwegian is stating only 3-days to receive the 30% discount she said I was wrong and did not see that info. So, I showed her where on the website it stated this and she tried to cover herself that it was not for 10% discount!

This is after discussing in detail how long the discounts were valid!

Also, airlines costs were a complete travesty when discussing the true costs. This poor representative is giving Norwegian a bad name and making us very uncomfortable about who you really trust at Norwegian! So sad!

I purchased a cruise before corona virus hit. My cruise was then canceled. Upon getting cruise credits I was told that I could always cancel if I wasn’t comfortable and my money would be returned. I then booked another cruise to only cancel again due to corona.

I no longer want to take a cruise with the number of cases rising once again. I am extremely uncomfortable and now I’m being told I cannot get my refund. This is completely unprofessional to keep my money for a cruise I never even went on and to now be forced is ridiculous.

I have a child with special needs at home and it isn’t safe.

We went through Norwegian booked group reservation so we could get a discount and be all together. Never happened! They put my 75-year-old mother who is on the boat by herself for the first time two floors away from any of us.

Y’all have all the records of working with agent who lied to us and told us we had a group price and we would be together. Left several messages for agent and Tried to contact 2 supervisors and left several messages no return calls.

This is the worst experience I ever had with a cruise line! We are due to cruise September 19, 2021 we have been calling for month and no answers.

Hello We are past cruise customers on NCL ...we were offered a promotion when i booked our cruise through email and phone offers , but when i was booking was told "sorry offer must be a mistake" and was told to file this complaint in this manner.

We have always loved NCL but the treatment my wife and i have received is extremely disappointing.

NCL cancelled a cruise we booked 2-22-21 scheduled for 1-15-22 in Hawaii. We tried to rebook for the following week - the first available cruise after the NCL cancellation. The cost for the rebooked cruise was up 34% over what we paid originally.

I pursued this as far as possible up to and including the resolution department. I was told this was all they could do. They would not give us the same price we paid previously. We have other costs into this trip such as prepaid airfare, etc.

This was a real 'bait and switch' on the part of NCL. Very poor customer service. This was totally the fault of NCL and to not make it right by simply making a date change for us is unbelievably poor customer relations.

Worst travel company I have experienced to date.

I am booked on the Gem, leaving 9/19. 2 months away and no excursions available to book. I had all excursions booked, then a ship change eliminated all bookings. No one can tell me why they won't repost for the new ship.

Currently there are 15 excursions listed with most being cabanas on Stirip Caye. We have 2 cabins and very frustrated.

I traveled last year on Norwegian Getaway out of New Orleans on March 1,2020. On my return on March 8,2020, while at the airport I realized I left my mini iPad and charger in my room. I tried calling but couldn’t get through to anyone.

Once I arrived home I have sent multiple emails,receiving no replays at all. I gave my name, ship, dates and stateroom number. I’m very disappointed fo no response even though reply was suppose to be within 10 days. When the iPad was found they know who stayed in that room with my contact info.

I realize that COVID happened. I work in a hospital that had one of the first cases in my area. I believe enough time has passed that someone could have contacted me . Very disappointed, since it was my first cruise.

Original cruise was cancelled. I booked a different cruise. The shore excursions and glacier were cancelled. I cancelled my cruise because of this. I had received $200 in NCL gift cards and given gift cards for our original cruise. I followed the online instructions to attempt to use.

The instructions are wrong and I am unable to use the cards. I attempted numerous times to to resolve this but unable to get someone to resolve. The people I have spoken to have a "I don't really care attitudes".

Customer service is a joke.

We booked a cruise in 3/2021 for 10/2021; paid $150 deposit on our credit card; and NCL cancelled the cruise (Pride of America, Hawaii) in May. The email we received said our deposit would be refunded to our credit card within 30 days.

We also tried booking later cruises; however, all those were cancelled as well. We never received the credit, and when I called to inquire, I was informed we had “purchased” a non-refundable certificate to pay our deposit; therefore, do not expect any type of refund.

When I asked to speak to someone higher up, I was told, “there is no one higher than me to speak to about this,” and was disconnected from the call. Needless to say, I am very angry and WILL NOT sail on ANYTHING with NCL.

June 12, 2021 Dear Norwegian Cruise Lines, I writing to bring to your attention of the poor customer service that I’ve experienced by your company. I have had good previous experience with Norwegian but was very upset at the lack of service we’ve come to expect.

This year we (4 people) decided to take the Hawaii cruise July 31, 2021 – August 7, 2021. I had long conversations with various Norwegian Cruise advisors in preparation for this cruise. This included communication via emails and phone calls both made and received with Norwegian cruise advisors.

I am still awaiting a response to my previous emails with regards to cancelling our booking.

Our cruise was initially booked for March 2020, cancelled by ourselves due to Covid, we accepted the credits offered & rebooked for 2021.

However, as this voyage was also cancelled by yourselves, we made an enquiry through Sergio & asked him to price the same voyage in 2022 in order for us to know what extra costs would be involved in re-booking for a third time.

The price increase for the same type of stateroom, same cruise, same time of year is incredible and therefore we cannot justify the cost & told Sergio that we would not continue with the booking. However he advised me that in pricing the cruise, he actually booked it using our credits & monies already paid

Hello, in 2019 I booked my first cruise with Norwegian for summer of 2020. After I tough year with losing my mom and my husband losing his dad, we chose Norwegian to get away. Then COVID-19 hit, our cruise got canceled and we rebooked again for 2021.

Once again our cruise was canceled for July of 2021. I was given a 10% off voucher and my previous promotions were not accepted to roll over. I was shocked at this that what I paid for I could not roll over to my next cruise.

I feel that Norwegian should honor my 2 previous bookings and offer a bit more than 10%. I did rebook for 2022 paying $3,000 more for the same cruise with fewer promotions. I lost my onboard credits , my extra speciality meals.

I wanted to book passage for five people, my two nephews and their wives and a single for myself. I was in the chat online 4 times on March 18, 2021. The first agent was Adrienne, I believe, who told me it could be done ANd he was going to explain it to me but disappeared.

It seemed we were disconnected. Then I had another agent, whom, upon finding out I wanted to book a cruise for a single, just disappeared. My husband & I were seriously considering a Hawaiian cruise for fall of 2022 & decided to ask a cousin about their trip. Turns out Norwegian cancelled their trip twice & informed them they WILL NOT REFUND their money, but they can choose a trip in the future anywhere with NCL.

We aren’t making plans with a cruise line that we won’t get our money back if for some reason it needed to be cancelled by us or NCL. Is NCL that hard up? In our opinion, NO REFUND makes for bad business.

5 mths after your Company cancelled cruise 79027 to Japan we are still awaiting a refund from your Company to the booking agent ECruising to enable a refund from the associated other providers e.g airlines, hotel reservations be refunded as your Company is the only one that has not advised the refund amount.

I understand this has been a mammoth task but I believe 5 months is enough time to calculate refunds, if you systematically worked through from the cancellation date.

Your reputation should be important, waiting so long is unacceptable.

REFUND My husband and I were scheduled for a cruise on Norwegian Bliss departing May 31st from Seattle to Alaska cruise number 43029478. My husband Christopher Rund's guest number was 256776397, his ID number was 21013882. I can't find my numbers for Bridget Rund anywhere.

I called in March after the President closed all the ports and said I wanted to cancel my cruise. I was told I couldn't at that point. Then the cruise was cancelled and I was sent about 20 emails offering me a cruise credit which I didn't want.

In May I called to ask for my refund and was told I couldn't request a refund until June 8th!!!! I said the cruise is over by then, that doesn't make any sense. The representative continued to say I couldn't apply for the refund until then.

If I could give a 0 I would. I was contacted by Eric, which is the one that help me set up my cruise about a week and a half before April 13, 2020. He just called out of nowhere talking about getting me booked with my cruise credit.

I relayed to him that I wouldn't be sailing and that I was cancelling and requesting a refund on the 13th. I am being railroaded. They are telling me that there is no email confirming that I have submitted my request for a refund.

I was on the bliss from cal to Mexico oct 27th to nov 3 rd while on the cruise a went to the art show and bought 3 paintings. 46 the paints were 9 something and the other charges were shore excursions and mis.

00 never arrived I contacted park west many times and each time got a different excuse. It has now been almost 6 months and still no painting and no excuse. It was the cruise line that billed me but has not refunded my money back to my account.

They are the ones that need to go after park west because the cruise line is the one that billed my account. 00 dollars back this is not how to treat a customer that had enjoyed your ship and had paid her bill but never got what she had paid for.

I have submitted a complaint and request for my airfare refund. I sent all documentation to the CEO in a certified letter. I have sent emails and called customer service. United refunded Norwegian a cancellation flight for 7 people from San Francisco to Seattle on November 30. 2019. By the time I got United to figure out where my refund was I discovered Norwegian has gotten the refund back in January 2020. Specifics days and amounts are in the package verifying the entire lack of customer service. I submitted a complaint on line and my response was I would hear back in 4-6 weeks. No customer service rep could even help.

I was on one of your cruises last year, September 1-7 from New York to Bermuda. It was a 50th wedding celebration for my brother and sister in law. We were a party of 8. The cruise was very good until the last day.

Because we arrived back in New York late due to the hurricane, we were forced from our rooms 4 hours before getting off the ship. The problem was we weren’t allowed to sit down, and were not even offered water.

My wife and i were on the Norwegian Encore from 2/9/2020 to 8/16/2020. We had 7days of sleepless nights due to are neighbors in the cabin beside us smoking, banging on the walls, urinating on the balcony and playing loud music all night long.

This matter was reported to ship security two different times. The ship security did have a talk with the neighbors but the problem never stopped. I don't really think that ship security really cared about the problem that i was having with the neighbors.

They did tell me that a report was written case#21422 and that the neighbors would be fined $250 for finding cigarette butts inside their cabin. I told them that the fine was doing me no good. They still continued to disrupt my whole vacation.

Case no 193214 I‘m staying at the Joy and went to the doctors office. Everything fine and i got some medicin. But there must be a dramatically mistake in your billing. The medicine i got has been charged on my bill 3 to for times as high as the medicin coasts in my country where healthcoasts belong to the highest in the world.

Cruise date / November 23 / 2019 / Port -Tampa, FL. Name of ship is "DAWN". We had a 12:30 boarding time. We arrived early. Norwegian did not honor boarding times with passengers. The line was blocks long. We waited almost 2 hours in line to board.

Tour buses were dropping off passengers up front who were allowed to jump in front of line! No apologies or explanation offered! Swimming pool is a joke, estimated size is less than 500 sq. ft. Glass windows throughout ship were cloudy, so much for enjoying the view!

The Bamboo - Sushi Bar was horrible! O' Sheehan's bar tenders were the worst! Our cabin's safe would not work, when I called service desk I was told the "WHITE" safe's were not working. Not offered a secure place to leave valuables.

Don't waste money on The SPA !. Heated / tiled…

My husband and I have taken several cruises with NCL and always had a good experience ,however ,during my last attempt to book a 7day cruise from New York to Bermuda I experienced unfair treatment as well as disrespect from the staff . This was surprising since he has always been helpful in the past .

To my surprise the email confirmation I received was for a cruise scheduled for the 27 of October and for a different itinerary -the Bahamas . He did However offer me a cabin on the same ship ,on the date I requested ,and with the right destination Bermuda.

Dear NCL, I was just informed the cruise I booked December, 8th-14th from Puerto Rico, has cancelled a port to Bonaire. I am absolutely furious! Bonaire is the real reason I booked this cruise. I DO NOT feel it fair that you can advertise a cruise, then cancel where you say you are porting.

This is very BAD business. I am from the US paid for a long expensive flight to Puerto Rico to go on this cruise. I expected to get what I paid for. I have made arrangements for tours in Bonaire and I am not sure if I will get reimbursed, not to mention how time consuming it was to find the tours I wanted.

I booked two connecting room for July 28, 2019 to Alaska. Reservation numbers 40956028 and 40955992. Room 9208 and 9206. A family of six people. When I printed the edocs again today, I saw that all shows and dinner reservations were deleted from reservation 40956028 room 9208. We have confirmations for the entertainment reservations dated 5/7/18 and reservations for the dinners dated 7/4/19.

I have spent most of my day today on the phone and in wait lines to get this cleared up. I was told it was a system error. We currently have two room reservations on hold with Norwegian Sky for August 9-12, sailing from Miami to Key. My family has already booked 3 rooms for this cruise. We've been traveling with NCL for years, and were passengers of The Haven on The NCL Bliss last September to Alaska. I'm extremely frustrated with the way this current reservation is being handled. After at least an hour of working with a representative on reserving what I was told were two mid-ship connecting rooms yesterday morning, I learned that night that the rooms were not actually connecting. Cruise #1 August 22, 2018 #36721499 10 day dream Honeymoon trip. We cancelled due to category 5 (155 mph sustained winds) hurricane Lane in Hawaii. We felt unsafe to travel under that condition and unsure of safety precautions by NCL due to NO communication.

Cruise #2 We were penalized for prior cancellation. Rescheduled with credits for March 8, 2019 #38987263 Now an 8 day trip was planned. we sailed on the Epic transatlantic on April 27 of this year. WE are not complainers but on this trip we had some problems that you should be aware of. 1- it took 5 days to resolve my OBC and it was only resolved when they allowed me to call NCL resolution department.

The did not know how to get this resolved. excursion desk gave me the wrong tickets not once but twice. I recently had surgery on my left so we requested seating up front on the trip we booked. we were ok until the last trip in Palma.

Hi I want to start off by saying this was the worst cruise I went on , we were late getting on the cruise was not explained to us on why and when we got on the ship go to find out that the zip line was under maintenance and the slides were not available and to say that my family also was also kicked out of the pool because we were not allowed because Security guards told us told us for adults only .

Giving one star only because zero stars is not an option

Me and my family love cruising and have never cruised with Norwegian, so we decided to give it a try. What a mistake that decision was. First off on day one we attend the mandatory safety drill, then later that evening get a letter in our stateroom stating we did not attend and had to meet someone the next morning to go over the safety drill again. On day 2, we wanted to attend the canvas by U activity. When I went to guest services to inquire about it I was told by 3 different people I did’nt need a reservation. All I needed was to get to the location early. So I arrive 40 minutes prior to the event and we are the 2nd group in line(party of 2 was in front of us). We traveled on Norwegian Escape from 3/24/19 to 3/31/19 from NYC to Bahamas and back. Upon returning, one luggage was damaged during the last night pickup. When we picked up our luggage on the pier, the duffle bag was torn open and many of its contents were damaged and pilled around the duffle.

We had to catch our group transportation and we scooped the items and packed them back into the ripped open duffle and proceeded to customs. Upon arriving home, we realized the extent of the damage. A stainless steel drink container was crushed and ripped apart.

A mirror was broken, a curling iron was broken apart and would no longer operate, a brand new book had its binding broken, two pair of shoes were cut and bent out of shape.

I was on a cruise from Manhattan reservation #40035698 3/3/19 - 3/10/10 and me and my wife was thrown out of bed onto the floor. My wife has brusies from landing on the floor and I am still sore. Also we were not able to visit your island in the Bahamas which we were looking forward to seeing and on top of all that I became very sick one day and my wife the very next day. Although the mishaps happed their were so good times and the staff was outstanding. I am hoping for some kind of compensation.

While traveling aboard Norwegian Star 8 day Mexican Rivera cruise ship on March 1, 2019, we experienced racial slurs, abhorrent and flagrant language from other passengers while onboard the ship. The most egregious experience took place while at the Italy restaurant, La Cucina.

While canceling my reservation at La Cucina Restaurant on the 7th floor, I was insulated by a fellow passenger. I was speaking with the host and canceled my reservation. A passenger came up to the front and stood less than three foot from me. I turn and said excused me. He referred to me as a four letter word. The passenger continued with other obscenities as well as the N word.

Breakaway cruise out of New Orleans Dec 30-Jan 6 2019 Sent an email when I came home about the horrendous cruise Got a case #02354166 ANdrea Pollard is handling this case. When I call. She is away from her desk. On a break. Not around. Is overworked 27 ahead of me last week, Today 25 ahead.
