I had been a member of Pay Pal since 2011. On 02/21/2020 I received a message from PayPal that my account may have been compromised. This was about 2:30 am. After the message woke me up I immediately answered and let them know I did not make any purchase on 02/21/2020.

The amount was for $74. and change. They said they would investigate. This afternoon I was informed that upon there investigation, the amount. in question was a legit purchase. I spoke to a representative who tried to processes it again but to no avail.

The complaint number for now she put in as did not receive service. #PPD56308229. I was also informed if it don't pass though in my favor, I would now have to take it up with my bank. I use Pay Pal for the trust and convenience to purchase items which I do all the time.

Julie the rude and not helpful Customer Service Manager=( I have had a number of holds on my account over the past 2 months, Every time I am told they are a 1 off, It only happens on my larger transactions and I am in good standing with Paypal and Ebay.

Ebay told me this is 100% paypal. I am not happy with these holds But I am much more unhappy with the Manager Julie, she was unhelpful and rude. I need $75 dollars to ship the 3 items that are on hold, I should not have to pay out of pocket to ship them, she should have, at minimum, understood my frustration but I felt mocked and insulted by her, completely blown off!

I told her if this continued I would have close my account, she made me feel like I should close my account and my business does not matter at all. It was bad bad bad bad…

Purchase (from China) paid with PayPal (~$8). I insured the shipment with the seller. The seller offers a guarantee that if the product is defective, or not to the specification, they'll refund the money, or re-send it. They won't ask for the return of the unsatisfactory item if less than $70, and if they ask for it, they'll pay for the shipping back.

Received a completely different item than I ordered. Contacted seller, who acknowledged the error and offered a partial refund. I didn't accept it, asking for the full refund. The seller stopped replying to my emails. I opened a case on PayPal site.

Seller said they would arrange for royal mail to collect item, and no change to me, insured and tracked. Paypal refused to allow this, and I must return using there syste,. I ordered 2 items online and used PayPal Credit to pay for them. I only received one of the items, so I notified the seller and was told that they would issue a refund through PayPal. I saw no refund after 2 weeks, so I went through the dispute procedure on the PayPal web page.

I attached all documentation of the purchase and the email from the seller that promised a refund. The seller sent another email saying they will no longer offer a refund because I opened a dispute case with PayPal. I sent this email to PayPal as well.

A few days after that, PayPal sent me an email saying that they closed my dispute and I would have to pay for the item I never received.

While paypal is a good service in a number of ways it fails in its fraud prevention department. My account was hacked and after sending funds several times the hacker closed the account. so I was stuck, after spending 40 or so minutes on the phone I had to call my credit card company, cancel the card and try to open a new paypal account (which asked me to give a credit card number (which I don't have yet) there has got to be a better way!

Hackers simply send transfers and close your account and there is nothing they can do???? Silly!

As a South African, I have been unable to receive any assistance with Paypal today, after more than 4 hours of phone calls, including International call from my phone.

In March of this year I was charged $50.00 -- through PayPal -- by Ashley Scott Meyers for editing services on a query letter through his website SellingYourScreenplay.com.

He took the money through PayPal, then never provided any service or made any acknowledgment of my inquiries. He did not respond to repeated e-mails, and there is no phone number listed on the website. I do not blame PayPal for this. Paypal gave wrong (old, deleted ) address to a seller when I made an eBay purchase. Item was immediately shipped to the wrong address. ) Plus, again, it's a deleted address. My paypal profile has ONE ADDRESS listed. Mine. After 45 minutes of interaction with 4 different PayPal reps (one robot, one online chat, two phone reps), I hear it is my problem to fix this by fighting the charge when it appears on my card.

So : and I asked several times: how and why did this happen ? Will it happen again ? I never got any answer to that. So anytime I use PayPal my purchases might just be sent randomly to old addresses and arrive in hands of strangers?

I have been trying numerous times to get a response from hesimple on two blouses I ordered and do not like and want to return them. I’ve emailed them asking how I go about returning them and getting a refund, but no answers.

I used your service for a while without problems then I was not able to send money. Not even small amounts. I was worried that my loved ones would not have money for transit or food. I have since used another company.

I called and the rep said this is an ongoing problem. You have lost my confidence and business. I do not understand why you make it so hard to send money to those we love. It is in your best interest to keep your customers happy.

You overregulate to the point of limiting innocent people. Not all people are using the internet for malicious purposes. In my case, my fiance has had to walk long distances because she could not afford a transit pass. I was also worried her son would not have money for food. You overkill on screening.

For the last twelve hours, I have been trying to buy a dustcover for a Technics turntable I am trying to restore and resell. I ordered an item and paid for it through paypal, and the item that was sent to me was not what I ordered. I called paypal about this and was told they would open a complaint with this company.

First they offered me 20 dollars, and I said no because it cost more than that. Then they came back and said i would get a refund if I was to send the item back and pay for shipping and handling.

Recently all my purchases are being held in "pending" claiming that the "merchant needs to complete the order". When I call the merchant, the merchant replies that they have already completed the order. So, where is the glitch that is preventing my purchases to be sent on to the my credit card bank on file?

I had made a phone call to Paypal on Monday Jan 14/19 regarding a couple of e-mails I got. The first time I called I am not sure if the person could not hear me and they just hung up.

The second person asked what they could help me with and I tried to explain and I was told, the exact words were "Fuck You" and they hung up on me. The third person apologized and listened to me but did not help me.

Have had recurring problem over three months moving money into my wallet. Three calls in three month with no permanent solution. Most recent operator said she would switch me to a supervisor when I insisted because she couldn't help, but I suspect she put me on perpetual hold as your little jingle has been played now for more than 40 minutes.

I suppose they get demerits for referring calls to a supervisor but that's hardly good customer service. Have someone contact me if you really have anybody ACTUALLY DOING CUSTOMER SERVICE.

I contacted PayPal via phone, when I received another request, online, to create a new password. It seems PayPal, especially, makes this request frequently, even more frequently than my online banking accounts. I was quite frustrated, because I needed to take care of something on PayPal and get back to the rest of my busy day.

On 12/20/18 at 7:30am central time , I called paypal mastercard customer service and I spoke to a supervisor, named JT, I have an issue with this supervisor on how he treated me on the phone,he was very very rude and condescending in is tone. He was talking down to me , He would not let me talk, he kept repeating himself, he told me he was the highest supervisor in the call center that there was no one else I could speak to, he right away told me if I had an issue with him to contact the corporate office.

When I buy something, my address is not populating on the seller's profile with my apartment number. I spent over 30 minutes on the telephone this morning with a man named "John" who I asked to move my apartment number from the 3rd line to the second because there are THREE shipments that I have not received.

I received money on 9/6 when I logged in it stated verification of ID, SS, and ADDRESS. I finish the process spoke with a rep he stated to me that my account will be in good standards. On 9/7 I called again to transfer the funds to my bank I was told I need to verify again. This was an inconvenience to my Family and I . I am one of thousands who made the mistake of buying a lightsaber from a company in China. They work under various corporate or fake personal names (look up Yin Menglin scam to see this has international scope). This is the guarantee from their ad: "WE PROMISE THAT OUR PRODUCTS AND PICTURES WILL BE 100% IDENTICAL.
