I returned a battery to pep boys after only having it for less than 2 months. They told me I had to get a refund from corporate. Ihavetalked to many people I can’t under and gotten nothing but a run around.

I had to purchase a different battery at a different store to replace my dead battery from Pep Boys. I have sent receipts of the new battery purchased and my original battery bought atPep boys. I have a case # 841382 but no one seems to help me get my refund.

On November 12, I took my ford expedition for an oil change at the east Tremont location in the bronx. Not only did I wait five hours, the mechanics also broke a bracket to my power running board. It's been seventeen days since I've been inconvenienced.

Being a man with a disability, it is not fair to be treated this way. I am still waiting for them to get the part to repair my vehicle. After numerous phone calls and being put on hold for thirty minutes, I have no choice but to contact the Better business bureau and the department of consumer affairs.

Absolutely horrible. I brought my car there just to put in a battery. Now my cars messed up. Won’t start without a jump. And when I bring the car there they say welp sorry will be about an hour to be seen and who knows how much longer to diagnose.

And there’s battery corrosion on it already. A brand new battery.

Went to 21 street location in long island city with a 2021 ram 1500 after taking my 2019 lexus about a month ago for 2 new tires this time i needed a set of 4 for my truck after speaking to new service adviaor i was told they can not balance my factory 22" rims and basically denied the service as they could not do it i work for a tow company for over 20 years with a shop and know that 22" can be balanced on any balacer and

basically was lied to i thought i found a good shop to take my cars to since i live in area worst part i was directed to go to king of queens next door as they said they do 22" rims when i left i went there and they dint even do tires guess guys didnt want to work last time to this shop will be heading to mavis from now on

24. At the time it had 114,489 miles on it, On 4-18-22 the vehicle began to make a noise and I took it back to have them check it out. They replaced the Purge Solenoid. On 5-13-22 the vehicle died and would not start, leaving me stranded.

I have talked to the service manager, Lenin Colon, at least 50 times. He has inquired with your corporate office several times and they agreed to refund a partial amount for the belt (was not installed correctly) and the valve which was installed and didn't need to be so noise persisted. O. 06 (purge valve charge).

We were stranded traveling from the east cost hitting a pot hole that blew out our RF tire. We put our donut spare on and had the blown out tire in the trunk.

We needed to leave Columbus this day, Sunday 11/13 and calling your W Lane Ave Pep Boys spoke to DRE explaining our unique "stranded" situation. Dre was not nice and was actually rude to a me a current life long Pep Boys customer. His tone was not professional at all as he said that he had 1 guy working and appointments lined up that were set up days ago. I understand the appointment situation, but to help another stranded Pep Boys customer out by changing a loose spare would only have taken them 10 minutes tops. You even had the tire in stock!…

After my service I found pills in my car that must have fell out the mechanics pocket or hand while he was test driving my car and they were where my five year old to get to them. I have sent multiple emails I have tried to contact y'all and I have not heard the first response and it is making me very very upset after the business I have done with y'all

I got my brakes inspected all 4 and there findings were that the front brakes were needing replacement as they did replace them charging me over 300 fine. Well I was driving the car and completely lost my brakes and as i mentioned God protected me.

I got it repaired over 600 dollars later. Called manager of pepboys and he said we only replaced the front brakes and i also reminded him he did an inspection on all 4and in order to do so you have to loosen up the caliper to check the brakes sent him pictures now i an asking for the cost of the repair and

placement of wheel and a rebursement of loss work and reburse me for this awful neglect of listening to my concerns. All it took is to check and see if everything was on tight and take that time.

Pep Boys on Spring Hill Drive in Spring Hill, Florida I had an appointment for an oil change on November 3rd upon arrival I was told because they are behind my wait would be around 3 hrs. I asked , why didn’t they at least text or call me, a shrug is all I received.

Poor customer service and I will not be using your services again. I assume they had bigger jobs that brought in more money!!! Thank you Patricia Mangracina

Pep Boys, 2415 S Vineyard, Ontario, CA. Brake service performed. Noticed shutter when applying brakes at speed. Returned several times was told brakes are fine. Now shutter is very bad. Pep Boys said I need new rotors and pads after only 17k miles.

Either the rotors were not turned or not turned properly at time of service. Not a trustworthy repair facility.

Had a 12pm appt. for tune up on Hyundai Sonata. Was assured wld have car by 2:30. They did not take car in to do job til 2:35pm. They did not call to advise if delay or I wld have cancelled. Gave some half-ass excuse.

Desk man cld have cared less. Very poor customer service & I had to cancel my Dr. appt for which I will be billed for. I do hope I am compensated for this 2 1/2 hr delay & $34 Dr. fee.

Extremely disappointed, why bother to mke appts??

Got my car towed to pep boys on union Ave in Memphis TN for a new alternator and it took them 11 days to fix my car……but as I’m getting into my car to leave I notice that the coolant low light is on and I go tell them and they add coolant and the light still didn’t go off…I leave and get down the road it’s smoking and I look under the car and it’s leaking so

I take it back to them and they said they didn’t touch my radiator. But…it wasn’t leaking and smoking before. No lights were on. The manager told me he drove my car while it was there. So……

Put my car in to Pep Boys on October 20, 2022 for inspection they told me I needed four new tires while putting my toys back on the cracked one and tried to put it on with wire a week later another tire fell off because it wasn’t put on properly they gave me the runaround with my car all day about picking it up after I picked it up they called me and

tell me to bring it back immediately I forgot to do something I am an elderly woman and didn’t realize about the tires my son brought it to my attention I paid over $900 it is disgraceful what kind of work Pep Boys does

I brought my car into pep boys on October 20, 2022 in Staten Island for an expections they called me and told me I needed tires which they replaced they probably could not put back my hubcap which is plastic so they cracked it and put some kind of wire on it to hold it also a week later I lost another hubcap which they did not put on properly I am a elderly and

did not see this until my son brought to my attention they also gave me a run around all day about my car when it would be ready when I finally picked it up and got home they called me and told me to bring it back immediately and drive safely they forgot to do something I am very upset about this I spent over $900 for this kind of service order number 2324680 store 354

On October 2,2022 I took my 2015Subaru Crosstrex for replacement of rear wheel bearings. They had my car for 2 days. They were having trouble removing the wheel bearings. 16. Then on Saturay2-8-2022 my grandaughter was driving home from work and both rear wheels locked up on her.

She could of had a major accident. We had to have the car towed to a Subaru dealership in Hackensttown, NJ. When they looked at it they found the rear axle was cracked and the repair had to be done again.

I contacted Pepboys where I had the work done, The manager said he would pay for the axle but not the wheel bearings,to be replace. If the job was done correctly the wheels would not of locked up . 16. 64 toSubarau.

Contacted corporate office and opened a claim. Waiting to hear back from someone.

Customer service is absolutely terrible Teresa at the mesa location talks to people very inhumane. The van was taken at 9 they texted my aunt it was ready and she said it wasn't. It's now 1pm and we called and advised they had a lot going on and did not know when it would be ready it's been 4 hours.

When we called she was very unpleasant and unprofessional really sad for a business to treat people that way.

I went in for a front end alignment after purchasing $1500 worth of tires from you guys and I never received paperwork showing my front end alignment stats and my mechanic let me know that the adjusters were never touched! There were no tool marks or different thread wear!

I went back to the store and they have no reconciliation of my mileage or data on my alignment! Then they told me they brought it in and it definitely need an alignment! Which I work across the street and my vehicle never moved!

I tried speaking with the manager who would not come out and speak with me! I have less than a 1000 miles on these tires so they definitely shouldn’t need a front end alignment! I want my money back for the alignment and I’m very disappointed that they lied straight to me and the fraudulent…

I thought I would get good service from this store after I spent close to a $1000 dollars for tires and paid for life time rotation & balance of the tires! I have made two appointments to get the tires serviced , I went on line and made an appointment for 9 AM one morning to bring my truck in , When I got there the service guy told me I had a four hour waiting period before he could get my truck service.

I told him I could not wait and left. The Second time I called the day before to make an appointment and the service guy told me to bring it in at 2 PM, when I arrive for my schedule appointment , I was told I had a 2 hour waiting period before he could service my truck.

I ask him what good is it to make an appointment If they can not keep. So I will never buy tires from this company…

took advantage of my wife she left her car there they didnt touch it but still charged her for services they did not perform $380.00, oil change, tires rotate and balance and alignment, didnt perform one of them, then took it back to complain, and had new tires put on and they didnt balance them, the manager came in drunk, this is store #1624 in chapel hill north carolina, its really sad you have people spending their hard earned money and companies like take advantage and dont care

I would like for someone to contact me about my refund I was told and on the paperwork it said that they did several different jobs on my vehicle they were only hired to do one charging me for the work that they didn't even do it was over $800 I do expect to get refunded for the full amount if not I have to take legal action my car was destroyed because of the work that they did do to it

I would’ve given a zero if I could. I took my 2018 VW Beetle to store 611 for an oil change. ” I asked him what have they been doing with my car for almost 90 minutes. He said the tech assigned to my car has been looking for that tool.

” I told him that was a lie because no Mgr is going to allow a tech to look for a tool for 90 minutes. Plus, I’ve been watching the guy pulling other cars in and out and doing other things for the last 90 minutes.

I told him he was lying. I told him to be honest with people. It was a complete waste of my time and I will never go back to a Pep Boys again.

Shane is very unprofessional and has very poor customer service. He is incompetent in dealing with customers when THEY aren't doing their job. Dropped my vehicle off to be repaired and even spoke with someone and gave them my warranty information.

No one had any knowledge whatsoever as to why I brought my car to them even though all information was given to them. I was told that I already had a technician assigned and that i would be contacted later that day after they contacted the warranty company.

When I expressed my frustration he rudely told me that I could come pick it up and that it would not be fixed. I contacted my warranty company to see if they were contacted by employees at Pepboys and they were not.

My car has been at their facility for 2 days and they hadn't even attempted…

My wife went in to have a nail puncture in the tread of the tire repaired. Was told she needed 4 new tires on her 2021 Audi, it has been driven lightly for 6 months. Before I found out, the tires were installed at a cost of nearly $1,000.

Beware these are bad people and they WILL try to sell you on things you don't need. I spoke to the customer service manager who was very rude and wouldn't let me get a word in. They are a disgrace for taking advantage of people like this.

Pep boys Bridgewater, NJ store has unacceptable service times! Made an appt. 2 days ago for 2 tires at 9am this morning. I was here at 8:30am and it's now 11am & it's not done. Another man here since 8am for a battery and no one has touched his car in the shop yet!

The service here is unacceptable! Last time my appt. For brakes took 4 hrs & I thought was a flood so trying again. NO MORE AGAIN!

On, dec 08, 2021. I took my 2013 minivan to the pep boys' location at 17015 Torrence Ave Lansing Illinois. To have my heating system repaired. cause the heat wasn't working properly. I got an estimate for the cost of the repairs, so I gave them the okay to repair it.

3 days later got a call from the technician stating that my vehicle was ready for pick up. On dec 13th was taking a ride on the expressway it started to make a rattle noise. so, I turned around and it started smoking and the hat went out.

come to find out that they blew my engine. I took them to court but never got an answer if they were going to pay for the damages. the supervisor never said they were going to help pay. he was so rude and seemed like he didn't care.

Called and I told them what was wrong with my car. Over the phone I was told that they will put my car on a diagnostic machine to see what was really going on.

Waited for about 15 minutes and he came over to me telling me what I need, would be over $2000. He did not tell me over the phone that I had to pay almost $40.00 for them doing absolutely nothing.

He should have told me on the phone if there were a charge for letting me know what's going on.

I placed a tire inquiry on 8/3 on the pepboys website. They had a special when you buy 3 tires you get 1 free. I made an appointment for 8/5. I went there on 8/5, no tires were there and the manager said those tires are not on sale???????

The manager didn't even try to accommodate me by searching for another set of tires. I left Pepboys and will never return. I've been a pepboys customer for over 25 years. Horrible service......

Last year I brought a starter from Pep Boys it hadn't even been a year in 3 months starter goes out I paid over a thousand something dollars for parts and labor to get this fixed and now it's back at the same Pep Boys and Hyattsville Maryland on University Boulevard and they're calling telling me it's the starter and that I have to pay $300 something dollars for labor I think it's not fair I do not have the money to pay it and

My car was at the collierville,tn shop for five days. My appointment was friday july 8th. All I needed was a tech to check my transmission level. You would have to put my car up on a lift to check it.

I had service work done at the Bethel Park Pep Boys located at 5055 Library Rd. PA 15102. On 7-6-22 I had a Oil/Filter change done. The problems where the drain plug wasn't tightened down all the way causing the vehicle to lose engine oil.

Also two of the securing buttons were lost for the small oil drain panel. The panel was hanging down because not being secured properly with the buttons missing. I returned the next day early in the afternoon to inform Dave the service manager of the problem.

Dave told me they were too busy to get me in??? That's the worst service experience I've ever had!!!

I had an appointment for 6 pm. When I arrived at 545pm I was told that pep boys canceled my appointment due to lack of employees. I book it on line and had confirmation. The lady at the front desk said you appointment was canceled.

She further said she didn’t have time to cancel my online appointment.

However when I got back home I got a email stating sorry you missed your appointment would you like to reschedule.

Never again will I go to PEPBOYS . Made an appointment for 10am. Just needed new tires, oil change, and wipers. Stayed there more than four hours. 3 hours in and they hadn’t even put my car on the alignment rack.

Went to the Forest Ave location this morning. I arrived early and was told I would be the first to get an oil change once the tech showed up. Two hours later they finally called me over to tell me I was finished.

Seemed like they forgot about me as people that arrived after I did were serviced and left while I was still waiting for a 10 min oil change. Staff didn’t seem too concerned how long. I was there!

overcharged for shocks...and labor...charged me 3 times as much as the same part in the auto parts store...called and emailed the receipt...never got any resolution...never do business with these guys again.The guy behind the counter started speaking Spanish so I couldn't understand them...But I did very shady.

I brought my car in for a flat tire. I was told that it might take awhile - fair enough - I receive a call 1|2 later & was told I needed a new tire - fine- the tire was not in stock & they would get it from another store- fine I called 2 hours later & asked about the status & get an eta.

The service manager seemed annoyed by my call & said the tire was on its way. I called 2 hours later & the “service manager seemed pissed that I called…. & mentioned the tire was on its way.

Meanwhile, 4 & 1/2 hours later I still don’t know when the service will be completed. Unbelievable! I understand a repair shop may have busy days, but the communications & manner of communication is thus far below poor & so unprofessional. Never again!
