I went to the petco on Washington missouri on 3/25/23 at 1902. I walked in the door there was an employee behind the counter named trevor he was doing something with receipt tape or something. I asked if I could get 50 large crickets.

Trevor stated there's forty in a bag over there but I think there mediums. I looked at him stated I will go to pet smart. He stated okay. I asked his name and he said Trevor. I left the store.

So here is my issue besides the obvious. Your company sells the lizards that eat the crickets so why do people have to go through all the attitudes from your employees just to get crickets. Petco has lost my business for forever.

I will avoid shopping at any petco and let everyone iknow how I was treated. I realize everyone is short handed but really. This is poor…

I went to petco to purchase the small valve used on a aquaimum. I had several of these valves. After I paid for them I asked for a bag. The response was we charge 10 cents for the bag. Now am I suppose to charge 10 cents on my credit card.

I gather up the valves and tried no to drop any. You just lost me as a customer. Very inconvient. What I was trying to do was give my business to a local store. The mistake that I made was not to go through Amazon.

My next purchase will be with amazon. No hassel with a hand full of little parts, trying not to drop them. Amazon order will come with a package right to my door. You lost me as a customer over a 10 cent bag.

Petco Grooming is just the worst sometimes. We spent $70 to get our dog cut and bathed. The cut was not short enough and we were told they could not cut him shorter or he would be bald. That is ridiculous.

I just wanted it shorter. I'll never go back to this particular Petco. Terrible service.

Rude and refuse to sell me a fish for my 20 gallon. I was trying to buy a pleco for my 20 gallon. I’ve bought pleco fish before they say 20 gallon okay but they get bigger. She trying sell me something I don’t want to buy and telling her helper to take out all the dead while she’s helping me.

Smh you could just say no tell me what size does a 2 inch pleco belong in 100 gallons. I spent 5 bucks on a baby betta. My nephew spent 30 bucks and they charged him 10 cent. Business is that bad but you won’t sell me a fish.

Today Feb 24th @11:30 am I took my 1yr old spaniel/bloodhound mix to have her nails trimmed in the Evans Ga location. I told the lady who took her back that Oakley was a very nervous baby and she might nibble but wouldn’t bite her.

This is not the first time I have taken her there for her nails and she has always done fine. Today though, I walked off for a few minutes and came back to check on her and saw this woman roughly pulling on my babies legs and yanking on her. Oakley was not happy!!

I asked the lady behind the counter if someone could please go and help calm her down from what that woman was going. Immediately Oakley calmed down and started licking this new woman. I watched as this other lady was completely frustrated finishing up her nails.

The manager at the petco in Ashland,Va is the rudest person I have ever come across in my life when it comes to customer service. I have a 5 month old puppy with me and my son picked her up to see the guinea pigs, which are capable of being seen by dogs taller than my 5 month old english mastiff.

Rather than come up to us to discuss his concern, he walked by and kept going and you could hear the stress in his voice saying "don't do that" as he went. And when I attempted to apologize he kept on going with his back to me and said something and refused to come talk to me.

I used to work at Petco in College Station TX and in Stafford VA and have always loved Petco and the products they sell, but the last few times I have went to Petco in College Station TX it has been so dirty and carts full of product all over you can’t hardly get through.

This is why I have decided to spend my money elsewhere. It’s just so disappointing my boys always loved going in and shopping for all our animals at your stores, but no more.

Told by manager that she was helping me although she wasn't suppose to. I was returning 11 cans of wellness canned cat food, Turkey flavor with gravy. all gravy and no meat. Obviously a factory glitz. I've feed wellness for over 25 years... never seen this before.

Yet, because cans was just over Petco return policy date, there could be no return. I was to told it was not good to stock up cat food because this is what can happen. But manager would help me... could give me money back IF I was placed on a NATIONAL Petco list.

This meant if I ever return anything again I would be banned from all Petcos! Totally unacceptable! I did exchange cans because my name is now on that list. was it worth it Petco? This long term customer is going to use Chewy and 2 local stores from now on.

I was returning a pet gate for my daughter. The gate did not fit. It was in the box when I returned it for her. I told the cashier my daughter couldn’t find the receipt. They looked up her # but she does not have a loyalty account.

I was told they don’t take returns w/o a receipt. So now my daughter is stuck w/ a $75 gate she can’t use. Is this Petco policy? My daughter knew w/o a receipt she would get store credit but I was told they don’t do that.

You have to have the receipt or loyalty account so they can find receipt. That’s horrible customer service and I will not use Petco again if they don’t take items back. The gate was a Petco brand so can’t return elsewhere

There was a line, approximately 10 people long. So everyone was lined up behind the walk way to keep the intersection of the store to cash registers. This employee repeatedly yelled at customers to move into, “whatever line you want.” Rather than waiting for the next available register.

Maybe this was an attempt to crowd control the line, but it is not my fault for a stores lack of open registers. I did not make the crowd.

I have an invisible disability which seriously limits my mobility. I have multiple metal plates and screws from multiple surgeries. To accommodate my pain I was resting my feet on my cart when told to move.

My complaint is with staff member "Anna" at the Fleming Island, Florida store today. She did not offer to provide any bags for my 4 cans of cat food, 2 bags of cat food and a jug of litter that I purchased, though she had offered bags to customers before me.

She merely asked if I wanted a receipt, which I said yes. When I asked if I would get a bag, she rolled her eyes and did not apologize. " She then bagged the cans of cat food and said she was sorry for ruining my day.

That response from her came across as an inappropriate passive aggressive statement, not an apology, so I decided it needed to be reported. I'm not sure what prompted her to treat me this way. It was unprofessional and a poor face for the company I have spent thousands of dollars in over the years.

I use the spa club app and it deleted my free bath before I was able to use it. The card simply started over and was giving me new punches. all he wanted to do was pass me off to customer service when he had the ability to help me there in the store.

He was very unprofessional and I did not appreciate the way that he treated me. I am a long time customer of that store and I don't feel he wanted to help me I would like to get my free bath return to me so that I may use it.

I shouldn't have had to contact this way when he was there at the store and could have helped me. I would also like for your company to look into the flaws in the app so that I do not have this issue again or any other customer.

Pekin il location. Called customer service refused to give me any point of contact with anyone. Was purchasing Over $200 in Salt water fish and products. Employee did not properly bag invertebrates and used fish net which stresses them instantly and I didn't say anything.

Then nothing was priced and I had to go online to get sku numbers. Got to checkout and employee say not in system couldn't sell them to me. Drove 45 minute away called customer service and wouldn't provide contact nor store managers name.

I bought a gift certificate from PETCO. COM. I never received it. I emailed Petco 3 times. Andrea A. emailed me back assuring me it was on the way. I ordered in November, it was sent via USPS on 12/1, still no gift certificate.

Petco pinned it on Cashstar, (read the fine print, people, who even knew? ). After 50 minutes, and two failed attempts, a rep from Cashstar finally answered. To make a long story short, I was obviously interrupting his evening and he had screaming and crying kids in the background.

I came in to just get some crickets. The line was long i would say 8-9 guests waiting and they had an help at register over speaker a sweet lady came out of office but looked scared to help. But did end up on register and helped the line.

Another lady came out of office and went over to the lady that was helping and began to scold her for helping the customers and other staff. The sweet lady went away in tears. It broke my heart that she was trying to help and but smile on customers faces.

Who ever that lady was was heart less for the customers she had waiting in line and was not thankful for the staff she had. We loved coming to this store as we have seen that sweet lady before she had helped us several times get crickets and always made us laugh.

Will not accept returns or exchanges after 30 days. Purchased new kennel and playpen in advance of receiving puppy. When we received our puppy, the kennel was too big and the playpen she was able to get out of. Since the 30 days had passes, they would not even issue us a store credit.

Shop at Petsmart, they have a 60 day return policy.

Today we had an appointment to get our pet groomed at the Temecula location. We were half an hour late in bringing our dog and we were refused service after we had already made an appointment. My husband suffers from a neurological condition and that was the reason that I was late.

We have spent so much money with your company and to be treated like this is completely unprofessional. Either we get a free grooming and immediately for our dog or we will be taking our business elsewhere. We have multiple dogs and have been coming to you for many years.

The app says you get a free bath on the 8th visit and we came in to the petco in Greeneville,TX and it was confirmed by an employee there. When we came back to pay the cashier said that it's not till the next visit.

Now I've had issues with petcos app because it lags or kicks you out a lot. I tried to explain to the cashier that in my appointment history I have taken my dog in 7 times and today would be the 8th time but because the app didn't show the 8th circle icon lit up she assumed that means it's not available.

Made an appointment 2 months ago at petco groomers in port charlotte fl. The older woman refused to do my poodle. Because she didn't do poodle paws! This is not a professional groomer if she can't cut clean paws. Wasted my time and gas.

I took my puppy goldendoodle to PETCO in Summerville SC (N. Main St) on Sunday Dec 11th for a full groom. This was now my 3rd or 4th time taking Luka (my puppy) to this location when my main groomer is booked.

I explained everything I wanted as I normally do and the groomer began petting Luka looking for matting and said nothing to me at that time, and told me she would call me in a few hours when she was done. 5-3hrs later I get a call from the lady saying that Luka has matting in his ears (which I was totally unaware of) but she's the groomer so I figured maybe she saw/felt something i hadn't.

Ordered two 6 months supply of dog meds, 6 month supply for 2 different dogs. Petco pharmacy sends one 6 month supply with one refill for same dog. Called and Petco pharmacy says they only received one prescription. Both prescriptions for two dogs where folded together and mailed in the same envelope.

The pharmacy is incompetent because they lost one prescription and claims they never received it and suggested that I check with the carrier, USPS. Why suggest that when they received the one envelope. Management at Petco was no help and said that I should have made 2 separate orders.

Kent WA 98032 was very disrespectful. I was next of 2 other customers and told him I was next and he waited on one of the other people first. When he started waiting on the 2nd person and others were coming I turned and started leaving and I heard him say "you have to keep an eye on those kind of people.

I have been to this store many times as well as the other and have always been treated with respect I am a college graduate with a masters degree and not homeless or dress like so. I am very frustrated with PetCo. I went to cancel an online order that I placed within 15 minutes of placing the order. I reached out to customer service only for them to tell me that they were unable to cancel my order.

I explained to them that I placed a different order with PetCo that allowed for me to get my order the same day instead of tomorrow. They still refused to cancel my order. Now I will be getting two packages on different days.

Hello, my complaint is about the manager of the grooming salon at the south location in Rochester, Mn. Her name is Kirsten. She is so incredibly rude and uncaring to her employees. She doesn’t allow breaks. She believes that if you are sick and it’s not Covid, you need to be at work.

She does not pull her weight but throws it around because she’s been employed there for so long. In this climate, employees should feel valued - especially with the slave wages they are paid. I do not work there but have heard story after story about how inappropriate she is.

I have a Petco next door to me and have been trying to get my dog and cat foods here, but I give up.

First, the app is just horrible. If I try to order ahead, I need a good 30 minutes to deal with the app freezing or glitching. It's 2022; come on guys.

Second, what's kept in stock for food is completely random, and I can't request anything to be ordered or kept stocked. I either have to switch foods every month or so and deal with upset stomachs or go somewhere else. I'm going somewhere else.

How does anyone shop here? I'll try ordering from chewy from now on.

I purchased two different zoo med tanks online . My issue is this , I got one at one store the other at another. 00 after adding to car. My issue is one tank is a 25 gallon the other is 40 gallon tank.

Got them both for the 65. Problem is no one will exchange the 25 gallon for the 40. I mean I should beable get the 40 gallon as I did in Arnold Mo for 65 bucks makes no logical sense!
