I scheduled for grooming at Petco off of State bridge Road for September 5th at 12:30 but they texted me at 11:37 and canceled my appointment. I went there to reschedule and they rescheduled for 09/13/21 at 12:30. On 09/13/2021 the texted and canceled again. I went there again past Sunday the 19th and spoke with manager. He said the stylist (Royal) was on her way and they can groom there. I got my puppy there and left him there. I went back to pick my puppy up but I could not recognize my puppy. He is a 12 months old Golden Doodle now he looks like a sick and abused dog. His face and body was bleeding. No my puppy won't move or do anything. He is scared, quiet, sad and won't respond to our command. The groomer's name is Royal. I am very very angry at this moment.

I went to the Carle place, NY location for my dog’s grooming. The groomer checked for any Matts before starting and agreed that he didn’t have any. But when I came to pick him up they gave me a bill of $116 .

Whereas the bill was supposed to be $69 + tax. When I spoke to the groomer she told me he had lot of knots plus we did some extra conditioning. This is crazy and a rip off. Why would they not tell me all that before starting so I had the option to say no.

Complaint about delivery of order number 70337565804670

Dear Customer Service, The reason I use your “free delivery service” is because I am a senior, and it is difficult for me to carry heavy packages. However, today the delivery person, instead bringing the order to my apartment as your delivery person did before, called me from the street. And I had to go down to his car to get my order which contained heavy items. Moreover no shopping bag was provided, and I had to struggle with my individual heavy items back to my apartment. This is disappointing and unacceptable.

I hope you will be able to rectify your instructions to your delivery people or your delivery policy to improve your service.

My grooming appointment for my dog has been cancelled by them now four times! One employee left and says because of her back pain my Golden Doodle is too big for her and instead of telling me this right away they waited to just before my appointment to tell me.

On top of that I constantly got emails reminding me to book my appointment! Get it together and stop contradicting yourself!

Petco owes me a few bags or boxes of every 7th dog food bag free on the nutrition rewards. I've made eight unanswered phone calls and everytime I've called over the last couple of months they say a manager will contact me within a couple of days but not once have they done so.

I pay for vital care and I'm unable to make an appointment for a simple nail trim. I've called numerous times and left messages. No one call me back. I then reached out to the Corp office who gave me a number.

I did just that and the rep called the store, spoke with the manager, hung up with with manager and came back to my call to tell me they don't have anything open for over a month. She said for me to call back the store. Really?

My 15 year old dog can't have his nails done unless someone decides to call me back? I've been trying to get this done for weeks now. Does Petco really not care about our pets? Is it because I pay monthly that they train people not to call back because they already have your money

Brought Havanese dog (20 months old) to be groomed. The first few times (female groomer) no major problems with dog by groomer. Male groom at CAMILLUS, NY Petco has had many complaints about the dog since his first encounter. Usually we have had the dog cut to the 1/4" length, along with a bath.

The groomer told us today when we brought the dog in that he would only do a trim. We also requested to have his nails clipped. If he was clipped, it appears it was only around the face and just a little.

The dog was given a bath, no nail trim. and after having the dog for 3 hrs I had to call the store to find out that the dog was ready. Usually it has taken approximately 2 hrs and that is with all the things done as requested.

Today his body hair was just as long, nails not trimmed, and a dog…

I took my dog Chloe, in to be groomed at the Petco on Percival Rd on July 18th, 2021. When I picked her up she smelled heavily of cinnamon. Chloe is a Beagle/ Jack Russell mix and she has always had sensitive skin and anal gland issues.

She's always itching and scratching. I state this EVERY TIME I take her to be groomed. Our 1st visit with Petco grooming was like a dream come true. But our 3rd visit was a nightmare. As I stated when I picked Chloe up she smelled heavily of cinnamon, she was still itching and scratching.

2 days later when I ran her deshedder over her fur the amount of hair, dirt, gunk and pet dander was sickening. There was no way they gave my baby a bath. So I filed a complaint. It took 3 weeks (maybe longer) for the grooming salon manager, Savanah, to call back.…

I put in an order in on the app and realized the shipping address was wrong. I had to call in to help center. In order to correct it the had to cancel the order. I tried to replace order.

I kept getting ruh-roh unexpected error please try again later. I was paying through my PayPal. 98 each. Refund from Paypal is still pending from 2 days ago. Really messed up!

This is about the grooming department at the Morgan Hill CA 95037 store. I had an appointment set up for bath, trim, groom and nails for 31 August 2021. They called to cancel. They got the appointment for bath only.

For me, a real problem. I don’t drive and had to set up drop off and pick up with me for my Pomeranian Zoey which requires planning in advance. I don’t see well. Can’t drive. I took Zoey there once before and the groomers did a poor grooming job. Thought I’d try again.

After this incident, never again. I bought my pet supplies there too. No more. Will use Amazon. Will never use Petco again Will never go into Petco again. Very poor grooming services your company has.

I am a saltwater fish owner for many of years. I shop around at different aquatic fish stores for many different kinds of non-aggressive marine fish. My wife was in your Petco store in Riverhead Long Island. She called me and informed me there are three types of fish that I would like, I told her to ask the employee to sprinkle just a little bit of food in the tank so she can see that they are eating, before she purchases them.

The employee said that he was not allowed to feed them since they already ate for the day. My wife asked him to just put a real small amount of flakes, and he still said no they don’t want the fish to be over fed and die.

I took my dog to the Peoria, Illinois PETCO for a Furminator Groom. This is package was supposed to include a nail trim and grind. I took my dog to the store at 3 pm on August 25, 2021. We entered the store and everything appeared to be fine. When we began to enter through the door to the grooming salon my dog freaked out. We spilled out the front door where my dog worked out of his collar twice. Two of us couldn't get him back into the store. A third employee came out and we eventually got my dog back inside. They had to lock the door to the main entrance so the automatic doors would stop opening - to keep him from getting out again.

The dog was supposed to be ready by 5 pm. I called the store at 5:30 pm, as no employee had called me at that time. The groomer said the dog had been done…

We took our poodle to get groomed at the Petco in Kyle on 8-25-2021 after they had canceled last week because 1 tech called in sick, they rescheduled for today 1 wk later. We get there n the lady that was taking our info tells me my poodle is to thin what does she eat? Can you feel this?

this is her spinal cord, I said yes she has a spinal condition don’t remember the name, she says”I need more info on it” I’m like excuse me she’s being treated by a vet! She goes on to tell us she is very matted, n it might take her 4 hrs plus to groom her, I said ok ( this how ling it usually takes) she takes our dog.

We get home bout 15 mins later she calls saying our dog is trying to bite her (our dog is 14 yrs old n has NEVER bitten or tried to bite anyone) n won’t stay still n do to her back issue…

To begin, I have been faithful Petco customer for more than 20 years. It pains me to write this letter, as I have gotten no we're attempting to call to remedy my issues. I understand when a business has problems or cannot immediately satisfy a customer, as long as they are well-intentioned.

Hey have had numerous problems over the last six months, but have always spoken to fairly capable customer service Representatives, who all do could not remedy my issue immediately, could at least give me an acceptable explanation along with a small credit. On my recent experience, occurring on the 19th of August, appointment was not even close, as it was a completely unacceptable experience.

Our pets are part of our family and we have always used Petco as a trusted provider for our pet family needs.…

Hello, I placed an order on August 22,2021 number:69099002317354. There were 3 items purchased, after promotions: 20% off $50+ when you buy online and pick up in store and Save $30 when you spend $100 were applied, also $35 Pal Reward was applied, order total was $30.13. Well, I received an email today stating that 2 of the 3 items was unavailable for pick up and to contact PETCO. State they will make it right. I called was on phone for over 1 hour with unhappy results. They did not honor the exact same deals and pricing as what I had paid which I think is unfair. I believe that is PETCO error or fault. To make it right they should replace order and I should pay exactly like what I paid from the original purchase. I feel like they did not make it right like their email state.

I would give it a -0 if I could. March 27th my dog was shaved without permission. His hair on his back is still showing skin. The store manager said I could bring him in for a free grooming. Took him today, I was told never to come back to Petco.

They can refuse my dog. Grooming manager was so rude. Tried to say the person that dropped him off was told he was getting shaved March. That person was me, and that conservation didn’t happen. Give me a refund if I can’t come back

Treated very poorly at one of your stores. I usually shop at online with you and the one on gulf and 19n in Florida a lot. Never have I been disappointed in a store like I have been now. It’s the first time I’ve been to your pet I in tarpon springs on US19 to visit the vet Clinic.

I had an appointment at 12: 13 They were late which I could understand. I waited over an hour . Still fine. I have gone to Petco for the past year to groom my dog off of Denton in Highway, watauga, and the last three times that I’ve taken my dog they never call me your contact to pick my dog up 4 hours will pass and still no call until I call and the last two time they told me they have forgotten to call!

I don’t understand how that can happen? The first time they said they were extremely busy but now being a third time in a row continuing to happen I don’t pay almost $90 every single time for this to be occurring this is very poor customer service.

Jason Troy, your manager of the Norwalk CT (Main St) store, has been incredibly confrontational, rude and abusive to me on 2 separate occasions, the most recent was this afternoon. I have been going to Petco for MANY years, but now I am DONE with Petco.

Today when i took my kittens to petco in parlin, nj for their vaccines the vet was rude and refused to keep my appointment. had a 9:30 appointment to have our black lab given a bath and when we arrived the girl told us we had one and a half hours to wait we told her we had a 9:30 appointment and she said it was only 9:25 but we still had to wait an hour and a half.

It seems if you pay $12 you can knock somebody out of their appointment and go ahead of them this does not seem fair as I would not want it done to me and just seems to be a money maker. I am contacting CEO and president Ron Coughlin about the problems in his company.

I took my dog in for a bath. When we arrived for her appointed time we had to wait for her to be called. While waiting Sacha's leash got wrapped around her-co-owner and made her fall. While trying to untangle Sacha from co-owner a female groomer tells me not to hit my dog.

At this point I was confused as to what she saw. When I got co-owner who fell up I tried to tell this groomer we didn't hit Sacha as she described. By this time I was very cross with her and let her know.

The services that day were free but this was not at our request. We have been back several times to get her nails clipped and buffed. I was rudely kicked out of the Glastonbury CT location because I was not wearing a face covering. This is not a current mandate but yet a jurisdiction request. This is against civil rights and should be addressed so a lawsuit is not filed against PetCo.

Recommending face covers os compliant however denying a customer entrance into your store based on a personal or health account is illegal and permissible by law.

Petco Burbank has had a invoice for blade sharpening for months. I emailed the manager with a copy of the invoice and I have not heard anything about paying me the $270.00 they owe me. I would appreciate any help I can get to get my invoice paid.

I will NEVER shop at Petco again and have told my friends the same.

I arrived five minutes late for a petco appointment and had to wait 2 hours because the vets went on lunch break. This is extremely inapprpriate as o had many other things in my day to do but instead I had to wait for my dogs appointment.

I could barely find a good parking spot. It was very hard this way. I would not recommend going to petco in regó park. Very rude Yelp there and the nurses did not even care that I was waiting for so long.

Was recently hired at Petco as a junior pet stylist, then recently fired today for no good reason, the manager didn't explain or give an explanation what I did wrong she just said that she doesn't think it's the best fit for me, which doesn't make sense as I was never informed I made an mistake or what exactly I did wrong. I was only there working for 2 weeks, I always showed up early and on time, I was friendly with the employees and customers.

My co worker that was training me never informed me that I made a mistake or not. Obviously it has very poor management and understaffed.

NOT anymore! it was an okay job and they were always great at fitting us in. so Petco worked in a pinch. The reason it was an okay job was because after the nail trim there was an unfinished stray piece of hang nail or sharp edges left behind or and nails uneven.

It was frustrating but after a walk or two the nails filed down. I decided this last time to ask for a trim plus the file to prevent this problem. BIG MISTAKE! The result was much worse! we drove around with our furbaby in the back seat noticing him licking a paw then pulled over to find blood all over our back seat!!!

I called Petco (we were already driving right back there) and reported our poor furbaby was bleeding from the quick! "I let them know we were heading back so they could see and apply a powder to stop the bleeding.…

I was in the College Road location in Wilmington New Jersey on 7/27 around 7:40 PM. I returned an item and received mediocre service while in the store. As I prepared myself for my flight the next day back to New Jersey where I live, I realized the cashier did not give me back my license.

That caused me a lot of stress and humiliation as I was detained in the airport for hours. I have a prescription dog food order. After numerous calls and a fax of the prescription I was still unable to get a confirmation. Of course no food has been shipped. To add insult to injury two of the representatives (Gabriel and Java) put me on an extended hold (20 minutes) and a Supervisor did not give his name was to transfer the call when the call was actually disconnected. Visited store to buy fish. Woman asked if I had a koi pond, said yes. Fine which fish do you want. I then said hold on I have to run next door for something and I’ll come back so that way the fish weren’t bagged longer then necessary.

Upon return another girl attempted to help, but became ignorant over my t-shirt assuming my political affiliation. Told me that I did not have what was required to own koi, kind you my tank twice the size with less fish in it then the stores and a few thousand gallon pond where they were headed after quarantine.

Offers curbside pick up but this is second time no employee has come and brought out my order. This time I called after 15 minutes of waiting and the employee took over five minutes to answer the phone and then said I’m more than welcome to come into the store to get my order. Don’t offer curbside pick up if your employees aren’t going to bring the order out.

I went to my local petco to buy some bugs for my reptiles when I noticed the betta fish AND the ball pythons. The snakes were VERY underweight and the beta fish are basically living in a cup. If you do PROPER betta care research you would realize that fish care is VERY complex.

ALSO chameleons NEED LOTSS of ventilation and you can’t keep that many reptiles in a 1 gallon enclosure. This HAS to change. I will never be buying an animal from here

Poor customer/sales associate. I’ve spent over 1K between food/toys/accessories/treats at petco. The petco in Patchogue, NY in Waverly Plaza. The associate “Fredy” working at the cashier on 7/29/21 around 7:30PM. I was checking out with $100 worth of product yet again, I am a pals reward.

Fredy was unprofessional, inexperienced, rude and had an attitude. Did not allow me to use my pal rewards which I had 5 from past purchases and they were not expired. Did not even ask if I had a pals reward, checked me out and then when I heard the manager ask his customer it reminded me that I had a bunch.

So I went back in - line to ask them to apply my rewards. That is when Fredy, told me he can’t return my items and apply my discount for past purchase or future purchases. Which this “past” purchase…

petco does not take care of their animals. the minimum cage size for a SINGLE parakeet is 46 x 46 x 56 cm; this should be DOUBLED with the addition of ONE other parakeet!

however, every time i enter a petco, there are 10+ parakeets crammed into a cruelly small enclosure. i’ve seen larger parrot species at petco with literal feces in their water & SEED BASED mix as their daily food which is incredibly unhealthy for parrots.

: barbed feathers; plucking; lethargy; nasal discharge; etc) which is extremely concerning— with so many tiny enclosures stacked together, illnesses will spread rampantly from bird to bird. your employees need more education on parrot care; it’s cruel & inhumane for animals to be denied clean water, healthy food, and adequate housing.

Every time I go into Petco in Johnstown, PA to buy crickets, I pay for them and stand in the front a good 20 mins or more waiting! It's like no one works there. The person at the register keeps calling for someone to get the crickets but no one ever does until they go look for someone to get them.

It makes me sick everytime I think about having to go in there and stand and wait. It's not even busy when this happens! Something needs done there or I'll find somewhere else to buy them!
