Yesterday, August 25, 2022 at approximately 5:30 to 6:00 pm. I visited the cite located in MidCity in Los Angeles, California. My son wanted to buy some fish. We pushed the button for service and a young Hispanic male approached.

he may have been manager or assistant manager because he was seen giving directions to another PetSmart employee. My son explained the 3 fish he wanted. The employee grabbed a bag the was approached by another customer with a question.

He left us standing there and went off to help another customer. He returned and then scooped the fish out of the aquariums and placed them in a bag. Instead of writing down the fish codes so we could pay for our items he then went on to help three other customers.

Came in to replace my fish that died after purchasing it at PetSmart and one of the employees told me to go to the fish wall.

Manager of the store comes up and asks about the reason they died, which I didn't know. After 5 minutes of talking about the fish, my tank and doing the water sample, I asked the manager if they clean their tanks. She answered "We clean and change 25% of water everyday". I looked back and asked why did one of the tanks had couple dead fish in it and all of the sudden I get her response with loud voice " SIR, IF YOURE GONNA CONTINUE TO ARGUE IM GONNA ASK YOU TO LEAVE". All surprised with her outburst, I said that I was just simply asking her a question. She got so mad, replaced my fish and told me to leave.

I am not impressed. Trying to get a prescription pet food approved through your process is ridiculous. Your management team likes to throw their weight around and cover up the issues by refusing to help because they don’t like a tone of voice. Grow up!

This isnt going to be a roses and sunshine job in customer service! Been waiting over 24 hours for approval with a prescription submitted. Spent an hour trying to get through because Petsmart calls were disconnected on persmarts end in their answering process twice.

Aliso Viejo, Calif store. Megane, an employee in the grooming salon (tatooed neck) accused me of missing my 1:00 appointment time. I showed up at 1:35 for a 1:30 nail trim. She would not look at me and would not acknowledge that the scheduler and not myself had made the error.

I explained how the scheduler had said 1:30 was available, I agreed to that time, then she came back on the phone and confirmed 1:00. I told her I needed a 1:30 and she said that she would fix it and confirmed a 1:30 time with me.

The other employees at the salon were kind and offered to take my dog after they finished grooming the one they had.

I have call Banfield Hospital 3 times to see if I can make an appointment for my dog to get his rabies shot. I understand that people cannot get to the phone or might be understaffed but when you leave your name, dogs name and my phone number like their message suggests and they will get back to you but

They keep the bathroom door locked up. Then you have to walk all the way back to where the bathroom is and you see that it's locked and then you have to walk up to the front and then they're helping somebody else and you don't want to interrupt because the ring somebody up at cash register and then you get the code and then you have to walk all the way back.

I am sick of companies locking these bathrooms what is the purpose of this? If it's because of the homeless I am sick and tired of this. I have a disability of irritable bowel disease and when I have to go to the bathroom I have to go to the bathroom right then I don't have time to walk back across the link if you're building twice just to go to the bathroom.

I was at Petsmart in Las Vegas, NV, and I never thought I would be so devastated by the amount of dead and soon-to-be dead bettas this store had. I have always thought it was cruel to have them in cups, and how dirty they would get.

I stood in that area for a good 20 minutes, and I wanted to take one home. I couldn't. I could not justify saving just one. Something needs to change. I don't want to call out just 1 Petsmart, but there needs to be a change in your business structure, and how you decide to sell the animals you have at your stores.

I made this same complaint on the Chesapeake store facebook page and got no response. I signed up for pet training for my puppy and the last class I attended both my puppy and I were ignored for the majority of the class.

Granted my puppy was jumping at the trainer she is supposed to be able to handle that. My issue is more so the fact that she never checked up on us. That was the very last class I attended as I was taking the class over.

No phone call; no check up to see if we were planning to come back. Nothing. Poor customer service is all I can say. I would not recommend anyone to take the pet training at that store becaue of the poor customer service alone.

Why did she not call to see why we had not been back?

The cashier #742166 at the tempe location was very rude. No smile no thank you, nothing but a flat monotone voice. I have purchased cat items, but I also witnessed when she took care of 2 other people buying dog item that she was all go happy and cheerful.

I am getting that this company is getting to have more 'dog' favoritism and that is not right. Cats are people too. I think I may be changing stores. The service at this location. Has been going downhill fast in the past 6 months.

There is too much dog favoritism at this place not to mention. The stock of cat items has been lacking also.

I called to make an appointment to have my dog a haircut and wash. I am a widow and my work schedule is very hectic. I was told next available appt date was today. I was given 1100 am over the phone.

I asked the young lady is there anyway she would have an earlier date if someone cancels. This question seem to upset her and before I got my answer she hung up. I took my dog g in for his 1100 apt and was told it was at 1000.

I asked why wasn’t I called if that was the case I was sitting in the McDonald’s right next door waiting on appt. This groomer I believe is the same person that made app. I asked if my dog was going to be safe with her and her attitude. Orangeburg South Carolina

Yesterday I wrote and complained about the grooming our pets received. Then a lady from PetSmart in Billings, Montana called me. She said she was leaving on vacation an wouldn't be back till July 24th. Her name was Chelsea I believe. 00.

I was very upset that Molly Mae & Pipin Rae didn't get groomed the way we asked. I did get responses from headquarters, but when I read them I was still upset and just deleted them. My mistake. WE PAID BY CHECK NOT CREDIT CARD.

Just picked my dog up from 6 day stay which appeared satisfactory. I have my dog’s grooming done there, also. Apparently, after receiving a phone call on Saturday that his Monday appointment would be canceled (groomer quit), she proceeds to tell me I can make another appt.

Leaving town on Tuesday & not able to do this nor was she interested is getting him in on Sunday or Monday. You have lost my business in the future.

My son and daughter purchased a Guinea pig house for in their cage last week and after coming home found the Guinea pigs head completely stuck and it was unable to breathe we had to break it, we took pictures and I had them go up to petsmart to address this issue yesterday and there was no manager so they went back up today the manager was less than helpful said it was their fault the Ginny was to big, does he know anything about Guinea pigs they are all that size!

The product was specifically for that animal not a smaller one it needs rebranded or recalled. They have a large following and are posting this on social media so hopefully something will be done about this, corporate was also contacted with no reply yet.

Very disappointed at my local PetSmart. I had to rehouse a tarantula I had purchased from an expo, and the seller recommended I add springtails to the enclosure. I went to PetSmart to buy the springtails, and when I asked the store clerk where I could locate them, she didn't even know what they were.

I asked another employee where I could find the springtails, and he showed me where they were located. The container was covered in dust, and the clay culture seemed a bit dry. I did not see any springtails on the surface of the clay, so I figured that perhaps they were embedded inside.

I asked him for instructions on how to use the product considering this was my first time using it, and there were no instructions on the container. He told me to dump the entire product into the enclosure.…

I took my dog for grooming on 6/19/2022 to the Green Acres Mall in Valley Stream NY. He had some matt on his leg. I was treated unprofessionally. I was told that if I was taking care of my dog at home he would not have matt.

I was rudely criticized for not taking care of my dog properly. The worst part was after taking my puppy home, he was cut on his nipple and his belly and he was itching profusely.. The redness got worst on day 2.

Grooming appointment, I have been taking my Morkie dog to Petsmart 's grooming salon for seven years in the Lincoln Park location in Chicago, Illinois with no issues.

I called this morning to book an appointment and the girl on line told me the groomer is not comfortable with the owner of Buddy, my dog which is me. They are refusing service to my dog with no explanation. I do know that you never get the same groomer unless you ask. The only thing I said was the last groomer did not do a great job and I would prefer a more experienced groomer this time. I also always tip whether the service was good or not.

This is probably useless as I have complained about this store before. It is staffed with morons in manage positions . Young and posses no people skills what so ever. They are very flippant I doubt if they ever heard the term customer satisfaction.

The most useless one of all is the so called nicolas and his so called co-hart joe they act like this a high school project instead of a full service buisness. Neither one of these two have any sense of the term return customer .

I brought my dog to Pet Smart in Mason Ohio. She was there from June 2 to June 6. When i brought her home, she immediately had a bathroom accident on my kitchen floor that tells me that she was not taken out regularly.

Her harness was also on backwards when returned and seemed to be choking her. Poor thing was miserable. I will not be taking her back there again.

If I could give this place a zero I would. I visited the Crestwood, IL store on 06/01/22 and I was hotties by what I saw. A helpless hamster has been put in a shelf to display a new cage.

This hamster was so neglected that it had filled up a tube with so much fecal matter that the animal was completely unable to reach it’s good and water. When I reported this to an employee, I was written off and told that the obscene amount of feces was “it’s food”.

This hamster is being severely neglected and is visibly unwell. I will report this to corporate as well as the ASPCA unless something is done.

My daughter who is 22 years old was in PetSmart in Goodlettsville TN on May 13 2022 at approximately 1:00pm and had her hearing service dog with her which was a white golden retriever. She was interested in buying a cat.

The employee let her in to see the cats and her service dog was laying on the floor. Her service dog is a certified service dog and very well trained. He was behaving as he should. The employee went and got a manager and the manager told her she could not be in there looking at cats with her service dogs.

She explained to her that this was a service dog and the manager said she could not be there in with the cat area. How is a person supposed to purchase a cat if they cant see them and hold them.

On April 23, 2022, I had made a purchase of five items with a 20% discount coupon. I had told the cashier, I wanted to use the discount on the $48.85 bag of dry dog food on a separate ticket, so I will get the discount on the dry dog food and not on another item, that cost two dollars. The cashier replied, the machine will automatically discount the highest price item. I had trusted her and proceeded the transaction with all the items.

From the store, I had driven about 25 miles straight home. When I had checked the receipt, guess what? The discount was applied to the $1.89 item. I have ordered and paid online in the past then pick up in the store. I arrived at my local store and there is no order for me. When I finally got some assistance it was noted the order was placed at another location (which I did not choose). I was told the store on Pine Ridge probably didn't have my dog food so the order was redirected to the closest store that did. There was nothing to catch my eye, since I've done this before, to let me know my order wasn't where I ordered it. The store assistant offered to let me see if they did have my dog food, I could then stand in line, pay for it and call the other store to have my CC credited.

Scheduled an appointment for some grooming services. Closest petsmart at 3553 W Genesee street is a ways away so I had to leave about 40 minutes beforehand. Was called by the petsmart and told after I was already halfway there that my appointment had to be canceled as the old as the person doing it didn't come in that day.

The CEL , Cristian dated a pet care employee Lucy who soon became an associate key holder. She also works at the Banfield inside the same building as pet smart. Recently about a year later her sister was hired. So now as w manager she is charge of her own sister. Recently Lucy had been cozing up to Richard and was given the promotion as the MIL.

I have a complaint against a store manager, who I believe goes by the name of Jill. She is the store manager of the Thousand Oaks, CA store, located on Hillcrest drive. My complaint is every time I go in there to speak with the store manager I am told she is on vacation.

How often do you give your store managers vacation time cuz it seems like every three weeks she's on vacation. Don't know about you but if I was a store manager I don't think taking vacations every 3 to 4 weeks is not only unnecessary but it hurts the business, Brand, and makes you look bad to your work staff.

It makes it look like you do not care about your job. And if it looks like you're slacking what's to keep others from slacking as well. If this is a normal policy in your corporation then by all means ignore this…

Hi, my 10lb dog had an appointment this morning at 8am. Got there at 7:50am. The groomer looked at my dog and stated that my dog was matted and as a result he could not be groomed. My question is how can you tell that my dog was matted without touching him.

My dog was not matted at all, I made sure of that because of a similar incident. My dog's hair is very curly because he is a maltipoo. I ran my hand through his fur to show her that he was not matted but she still did not want to get him groomed.

She was the only one in there and it truly pissed me off. I waited almost two weeks for this appt only to get turned around after driving almost 30 mins to get there. This was very disappointing and hurtful for someone to act that way towards a dog.

8:45am Went to check my dog in to hotel after making a reservation and confirming vacs. she did call former vet to confirm. Told me she couldn't keep my dog. I was super stressed needing to catch a flight and honestly believed we were current for another month.

I asked about the resident vet and she said there's a 48 hour wait period. I told her to give me back my paperwork ( stressed but polite). I started to walk away and she said in a very loud voice" don't be mad at me, it's not my fault". I said "wow"!

" I said "you need to stop". She yelled "YOU need to STOP". " The gal YELLED. "GOOD"! I am a professional woman who has taught customer service skills. This woman was absolutely the most unprofessional and most rude customer care person I have ever encountered!

I’d been trying to contact to get an update on my shipping date. Before I ordered this aquarium I was told by Petmart customer service representative that the shipping will take 5-10 business days. As of today it’s almost 2 full weeks and no update.

Today, 2/3/22, I visited the Petsmart at 2100 Louisianna in Albuquerque, NM to shop for some items for my dog. I shopped around the store, picked out a few sweaters which I hung on my basket. Then my husband came into the store with our dog and we shopped around a little more, with me showing him items I wanted to get for our sweet girl.

Extremely upset. Went to store langhorne PA store last night picked out the 1 chinchilla they had and played & bonded with it for over an hour. My daughter and I fell in love with it. Had it in my arms tucked in my jacket and told the employee Its sold and Im taking it with me.

I also had an extra carrier with me and my own Chinchilla with me. The employee said okay took it from my arms and went to the back with the Chinchilla and reappeared 30 minutes later?? With no Chinchilla and told me I could not purchase it because she was unsure whether mine was a male or female.

I visited the Bourne Ma PetSmart. I was looking to buy some fish . The new fish had just come in and as i was looking at the fish in the bags to see the new stock i was approached by a woman who said" What do you think your doing" " Do not touch anything" .

I told her I was looking to buy a few fish and just looking at what was in the bags. She told me she would send someone to help me. I told her i wanted a rainbow shark which she replied with in a snappy voice "what size is your tank" ???

a week agoNEW GOOMING Recently went to the groomers for the first time in fort worth tx sw loop 820, got my dog a shower and de-shed her entire undercoat plus cutting her nails. I was told it was going to be 3 hours tops but I took 4.

I had to call THEM to tell me when my dog will be ready. When I picked her up she still had a good amount of undercoat and her nails were still clacking when we walked out of the store.

My bather was named Derek and he was completely awful when it came to everything. Communication, and the undermining condescending tone when I was asking important questions. DEREK should not be a goomer he is awful at what he does.

I was a loyal regular customer for grooming my dog and than the customer service left when I tried to make another appointment. No one would answer the phone locally and long wait on the phone to get someone to help me for scheduling locally and at your Phoenix office.

Now because of my reliance on your Kennewick store, I have to search for another grooming service. There must be a reason that your company has quit with the customer service in the grooming department. Thank you for letting me VENT because I a very frustrated with PetSmart at this time.

The first time, without looking up he pointed over at a specific isle and continued with what he was doing. I thought his manner to be a little rude but brushed the incident off and made my way as to where l presumed he had pointed.

A couple of minutes later l was searching the isles for another item when the same person walked passed so l asked where l would find this additional item. To my amazement without stopping to direct me to the correct isle he just shouted out the isle number and continued to walk away.

2 times the last 30 days the grooming salon 'QUICKED" my dogs nails resulting in TWO EMERGENCY VET VISITS!! THIS IS UNHEARD OF to quick ALL OF A DOGS NAILS resulting in prolonged bleeding. The salon did reimburse 90 in grooming fees but I am submitting 2 veterinary bills I had to pay due to the salons negligence.

BUT for their errors, I would NOT have these invoices. IN ADDITION TO THE TRAUMA AND PAIN THEY CAUSED MY 10 year old dog!!!!!!!!!! I do not have documentation from the first er dr. because he didn't recognize '"quicken bleeding feet" but the second stated it clearly.

I learned from an employee who will soon be leaving. Sick guinea pigs are left isolated in a confined (dirty) container for 3-4 weeks. Most die due to the lack of medical attention and unsanitary conditions. This is very cruel and disturbing.

Beware of purchasing animals from Pet Smart. They only care about making money!! Pet Smart- El Paso, TX

Hi, My dog (Black Lab 2 yr old) Buster was dropped off yesterday at around 9:30 am for Day Camp. My daughter in law received a call that she had to go and pick him up because he was aggressive with the other dogs.

I was so surprised because he is not at all an aggressive dog. I went with her to see what was the problem. Once I arrived I questioned the front desk about the situation and the Manager by the name of Alisa (rude) said that he was barking at the dogs in their faces and was trying to attack.

I told her that these are dogs (that's how they act) and that Buster just wanted to play. He has been attending Dog Camp since he was 8 months old. She seem not to care or really get into details with me just about what happen.

I was in the Aurora, Ohio store 12/8 approx. m. After shopping, I went over to the grooming window. A groomer had a medium sized dog on the table and was combing the dog out. It had a nice coat, medium hair.

The dog was behaving really well, just standing there. Eventually the dog started to sit down and I saw this groomer grab the dog by a good chunk of fur on the hip and jerked the dog up. I thought that was unnecessary as the dog was really being good.

The groomer looked at me very irritatingly. Eventually another groomer came over and was talking to the dog and the dog was kissing her. Then the groomer of the dog got a leash, put it around the dog and wanted the dog to jump down. Table is rather high.
