I have used the same PNC ATM three times. Once, my debit card was eaten by the machine. The third time, it ate a severel hundred dollar cash deposit. Branch staff were condescending, unapologetic and essentially useless. Said they could only file a dispute and wait for a 3rd party to come out and access machine.
Kept ATM open to customers with no apparent concern about this possibility affecting my dispute or other customers being ripped off. Apparently they do not feel that the customer is always right at PNC as they told me the dispute can take weeks and “I could have used a teller”.
