I am writing this letter to you as a very dissatisfied current but tempted to become a “never again” customer. My family and I had the most unpleasant experience last night at your store at 1525 Palm Avenue, Imperial Beach, CA, and there was nothing about the experience that would make me want to go back to try again.

My daughter and 2 grandkids and I were out running errands last night and my grandson, who had never had Popeye’s chicken, asked if we could pick up dinner while we were out. We drove an extra 15-20 minutes out of our way to go to the Imperial Beach store with the anticipation of some great chicken – and boy, were we disappointed.

If I could leave NO STARS it would be correct. Went to the local Popeyes in Eldersburg MD today after having visited prevously with a bad experience. This one was bizare. I ordered the chicken sandwich fries and a soda (for which I had a coupon) and asked for the surf and turf special fries chicken tenders and shrimp.

I was told that they did not have the surf and turf. all the ingredients for a surf and turf. 99. I ordered that and the chicken sandwich fries and soda. I got to the window presented the coupon and was met with a scowl from the worker. 00?!?! 00??

The clerk was so rude that I declined the order. Oh by the way he kept my coupon!?. horrible.

This complaint is for the Popeye's location at Schillingers Road Mobile Al, location closest to Airport Blvd.

The person who served me thru the drive up window. 1. Got my order wrong 2. Overcharged me 3. Did not give me all of my order that I was charged for.

When I tried to talk to the person her response was "that's just how it is and I can't do anything about it".

And after talking about this with some friend they said they had also had issues with that location.....same ones as myself

Sadly even as much as I like the chicken I will never eat at this location again.

On 2/11/23 I placed a pick up order. I arrived at Popeye's 30 minutes later. I had to wait 10 minutes or so for my order which would've been fine except for the fact there were a few issues with my order.

First of all I should've checked my order before going home but I did not. My order consisted of a chicken sandwich meal, two 3 piece chicken meals and a gallon of tea. When I got home I realized that one of my 3 piece meals only had one piece of chicken.

The fries were cold and the biscuits were hard. The orders of fries were unusually small. The fries for the sandwich was just laying in the bottom of the bag that contained the sandwich. When I called the store to explain that I was missing 2 pieces of chicken, the employee had a negative attitude.

This is NOT a complaint about the food at Popeye's, it is a complaint about QUALITY OF SERVICE AND GETTING RIPPED OFF.

On Saturday 11 Feb, I made a purchase at your store #11315 in Westampton NJ at 5:34pm. The order consisted of a 16 piece Classic Box Meal plus 4 Classic sandwiches. After getting home and finishing my meal, I discovered that I was shorted significantly on the quantity of the chicken and biscuits. I received only 62.5% of the actual, paid order. It turns out that the order handed to me only contained 10 pieces of chicken and 6 biscuits. The sandwiches were the correct count along with the 3 sides. Yesterday evening on 2/11/2023 a little after 5pm me and 2 other women I was with walked into the Popeyes at the TA TRAVEL STOP to get food because my blood sugar was dropping so I knew I need to get food. Me and my cousin go the Popeyes and my other girlfriend goes to taco bell.

We get in line wait a few and we're all noticing that the 3 employees we see in front are just ignoring line and laughing and conversating amongst one another and there's a line. The cook was leaned back arms folded talking etc.

I just went through the drive through at 939 W Avenue J in Lancaster, CA just like EVERY Saturday for the past 3-4 months and again they have no sandwiches. Not only that, but they refuse to sell me a bun so I can make my own sandwich with chicken tenders…which they are usually out of by now on a Saturday as well.

I cannot understand this issue. Is it bad management? Bad purchasing? One would think after months of “running out” of sandwiches they would plan better but I guess it’s too much to ask that the employees continue to serve the products that should be available.

I'm in the drive thru. I was greeted pleasantly by someone. I said to please give me a minute. She said sure, just let me know when ready. When I replied when ready, she said hold on. Then 3 1/2 minutes went by before i was greeted again. I ordered.

I was the ONLY car in the drive thru and went right up to the window and paid. Then waited 14 minutes for my food. 00 fee for the breast upcharge. Got home about 15 -20 minutes later (I live up north where there is no restaurants near me)...

Found out it was a regular family meal 2 pieces of each.

I visit the northwest hwy garland TX location multiple times. I have never had an issue. This last visit was the most unpleasant and unprofessional visit I've ever experienced. The employees were rude and arguementive when I advised my order was incorrect.

I even let the cashier know my receipt was incorrect and if she could ensure my order wld be correct. She rolled her eyes and was bothered but said she would check. I watched her the whole time and she never checked.

When I reviewed my order and saw it was incorrect they rudely told me it wasn't and wouldn't replace it. Instead just told me I could use sauces. I left highly upset and unsatisfied. I will not be visiting Popeyes again and will be sharing my experience with others so that they do not visit that location.

I’ve gone to Popeyes three time around :30 minutes prior to closing and they never have tenders available. There is always a long line for food and they are always out of tenders. Last night I tried to order 4 sandwiches, since they were out of tenders, but they only had 3.

I ordered the two piece (mild) as a substitute and the chicken was cold with a dry crust. They also were out of the blackened ranch.

On Tuesday (2/7/23) , my husband and I stopped at Popeye's Chicken on Van Dyke in Warren, MI. We love Popeye's food and decided we would pick up dinner. We ordered chicken wings,2 large red beans and rice (our favorite) and a spicy chicken dinner with fries for our daughter.

When we began to eat our dinner, my husband and I found that the red beans and rice was inedible. BOTH large red beans were EXTREMELY salty! We frequently order Popeyes (other locations) and have never had this issue. We were surprised and disappointed.

Today we ordered two #2, two piece, all white spicy chicken combo meals at the drive thru on South Campbell in Springfield, Missouri. The gentleman on the speaker repeated our order correctly. After we left the location, we discovered we received all dark meat in both boxes that was very dry and over cooked and the beans and rice were crunchy. Also there was no silverware so we could not eaton the road as planned. This is not the first time we have had bad food and service at this location. We will not recommend eating here to any one we know.

” At that point, I thought he would make her get in line, but he did not. The woman started speaking French from Haiti, and while we were still waiting, the manager came out and made an order for this woman; we all asked why she was being waited on before us our paying customers.

The manager did not respond, and the woman said oh, I know her. Well, that is no reason to have people waiting in line and have someone cut the line, and you take them first, and they don’t pay. May I add that one of the women in front of me was just at that moment having her order taken?

The Popeyes located in Franklinton, LA has terrible service, poor communication, is rude when calling in to notify them of errors in order and cold, stale food. I ordered for my family of four and paid over $50 only to get home and find food missing, cold stale fries, barely any red beans in a container full of rice, and cold and soggy chicken.

When I called to speak with the manager, Carolyn she was very rude and did not apologize once, instead she insisted she was not wrong for the missing food because she didn't charge it on the order bc they were out of them, instead of telling me they were out she let me think my order was complete and filled.

I purchased a family dinner meal 2/8 at the new Popeye’s in Bushnell, FL. It took over 20 min for me to get my order.

First the cashier had to wait on the manager to bring her cash drawer & get her in system to accept my payment. That took at least 10 min. Cars starting to line up. After 20 min I went inside approached the manager about my order.

She said they had like 4 orders for the family meal deal & had to fry chicken. I assume it takes 20 minutes to fry chicken? I unfortunately didn’t check my order until I got home. Instead of the 10 piece chicken order I purchased I received 7 pieces of chicken-2 bread, 2 thighs, 2 legs, & 1 wing.

I order a chicken sandwich. Didn't look in bag Didn't want to hold line or window timer up. When I got to my destination about 15miles I was surprised to find a Krystal chick in my bag. The chicken was ridiculous small it look like a chicken finger.

Second time "Shelly" could not get my gift card to scan. I had the receipt that said there was $6.34 left on card. I asked her to enter the card manually, she said she did not know if that could be done. I asked for a manager, she said she was a manager. She called out to another employee, "hey are you having problems with the reader doing gift cards?" The reply was, "yeah, sometime they work sometimes they don't."

I checked my balance at 888-999-2117, as I stated card has $6.34 balance. I am 100% disabled veteran and sid just give me the military discount, "We don't give those. You will need to pay cash!" Card number is 6189 6183 2606 8474. I attached my receipt.

Went to Marion il store 3802 w deyoung on 2-7-23 at 5pm. 00. Staff were pleasant, but got home and chicken had been sitting, and both our riced and beans were horrible. The rice on bottom and top was crunchie and inedible.

Needless to say we have had nothing but unfresh (sitting) food from there and won’t be coming back. I know times are tough and I thought I would surprise my family, and it was very disappointing. Please try to better their process for other families.

Every single time for the past year and a half when I order from this location 10074 Coors Blvd NW, Albuquerque, NM 87114, They mess up the order. Only ever give me one drink usually out if 3-4. The chicken is always over cooked.

They lock the doors 2-3 before they are supposed to. I have seen the manager sit and do nothing for hours while only one or so employees had to work the entire place. There is to much incompetence in this place and something needs to be done about it.

Store located at 3525 Altamesa Blvd in Fort Worth Texas says it's ipwn until 10:00 however they have been turning people away at 9:30. They told me they were out of basically everything and I asked are you out or are you not willing to cook anything else.

The manager a latino woma said no we are not cooking anything else. I asked for the corporate number and she directed me to this site. She then closed the window and told me to have a nice night. Just a FYI you are losing business.

If it's fine with you to turn customers away before the store closes then okay. I have never experienced this at any Popeyes locations except this one.

I went to Popeyes Monday 2/06/2023 at 7:30pm. I pulled in and they did not have a line. I thought something was wrong or they were closed. I order my food. The lady who took my order was real nice.

Got to the window and my food was ready. I had to check my order to make sure it was for me. The manager came to the window to see what was wrong. She was nice. The food was hot and good.

Went to your popeye's location on Country Club road in Lake Charles Louisiana. I stood in line behind an older lady waiting on her food. After about 5 minutes I asked her if she had had her order taken, she said No.

We were both standing there as a 5 different employees were talking to each other and not paying attention to any Customers that were in the restaurant. After another few minutes, Other customers had come in and were not waited on either.

This was during a lunch hour time where I expected a some time to have to wait. Since I was on a time limit I left the building with the poor lady still haven't been served or even spoken too.

Never did I see a manager anywhere inside unless it was the one later that had earphones on her head . I enjoy your food and so does my family, But…

This place is a scam and a bunch of crooks. Twice now I have gone thru the drive thru at this location ordering a 12pc spicy, get home and their are only 8 or 9 pieces. Last week it happened again but this time I went into the restaurant, only to be told by the manager that would never happened and I must have ate 3 pieces. Showed him the receipt and he walked away saying then I must have took out the 3 pieces.

Ordered my “usual” 5 piece tender meal. Was given 4 and a 1” nugget. I went to counter and spoke with person that took my order as well as filled it. I showed her and she told me that is 5 pieces.

I pulled the “nugget” apart to show it was just a piece of breading and she finally gave me a 5th strip but she commented again that it was a 5 piece.

We were pulling in to the store and there was a car blocking the road. Waited for them to move for about 3 minutes. He finally moved but them blocked the handicap spots. ) I blew the horn at him and then pulled into spot next to the handicap.

When we got out he pulled away then turned around came back into parking lot behind us and blew his horn behind mom and me. Lucky for me he sped off. I went into the restaurant (4721 N Kickapoo street Shawnee ok store number 10769) and asked them who he was and is it normal for maintenance to block the road when the parking lot is empty.

They informed me he was not their regular maintenance he was the districts. He was here to fix fire alarm that didn't work but it did today.

I will be turning 50 years old this coming May an in this lifetime I have never received my order correct from Popeyes Chicken on the first try.

Last week I went to Popeyes chicken on E. Washington St, and Lasalle in Indianapolis, IN an orded 2 spicy breast and a wing from the drive thru.

I don't like dark meat so I always order white meat.

After the attendant in the drive thru handed my order to me I checked and discovered that they gave me 2 thighs and a wing instead.

I have attempted 5 times to eat at the anderson sc location. Only once was I able to get any of the food I wanted, my husband got food no one else did that time. They are either out of what I want or they are too short staffed and are only cooking certain things but usually they don't have it.

That is after i try the drive thru I park get my grandchildren out of their car seats and haul them all in to only get told they don't have whatever it is that I wanted. As the drive-thru signs never work they are always black no words or prices at all and if your looking for what's new like the ghost pepper wings they laugh and say we aint got none.

Bran new Popeyes in Melissa, TX. Great location and a lot of business in and out while we Were there eating. Food was as expected but strips were over cooked with little batter. I counted 15 young people working from the counter to the cooks and not nearly enough supervision.

It seemed chaotic but at least they were there trying to make a living. The girl up front was very sweet but didn’t seem well trained. Bathroom was very dirty, every table in the lobby that wasn’t occupied by an employee, (5-7 employees), had dirty tables.

Manager was in one of them, apparently training people. They were loud and an employee was watching a music video and it was annoyingly loud. Just unprofessional and I didn’t expect it from a new store. The general feeling we have of Popeyes is the food is good…
