We moved from 9 to 9R and filed a change of address card.
However, the machinery is unable to distinguish between 9 and 9R. It kept forwarding our mail to 9R even though the mail already was addressed to 9R. Now that the forwarding time is expired, we are not getting our mail, our bills, and bank or credit card statements - or any other mail for that matter.
They are all being returned. This is a great inconvenience as well as the expense of being late on credit card payments. We need our mail to come to our correct, town-given address. The postmaster has been trying to help for a couple of years now but this may be something that's more related to the larger facility in North Reading MA.
