After shopping for a new insurance company I picked Progressive for 3 policies (Auto, Homeowners, Umbrella). I also moved 2 policies of my Mom's to Progressive. 5%. I believe this is a bait and switch practice and will be shopping for a new insurance company.

My car was stolen in late August. I got the car back the next day as it was dumped. In videos, you can hear them dogging the car over and over. Mind you, this car has had 0 mechanical issues.

Not even a week later, my Car completely breaks down from mechanical failure and the engine fails. Progressive is trying to say this had nothing to do with it being stolen. This is after it to a month in a half on the claim.

I was barely contacted about the claim and now the auto adjuster will not answer the phone. It’s okay though, I will Be having my lawyer get in touch with you.

This letter is to express my discontent regarding my experience with Progressive Insurance during my whole accident ordeal claim process.

My car was damaged on August 4th 2022. I took it in to the Lexus of Brooklyn on September 12th, it was left on the side awaiting for Progressive’s insurance adjuster/ estimator to inspect and authorize the vehicle repair. Ultimately after multiple calls and chasing down my insurance broker, I was able to strong arm an adjuster to come out and inspect the vehicle on September 23. Finally, the body shop was able to commence working on my vehicle and finishing up and getting my vehicle back on the road.

This has been the WORST experience. Progressive is one of the worst insurance companies we have ever used. I had to file a claim, and come to find out I was not on my own policy for over 7 MONTHS. I was not notified.

My bf and I had a group plan and progressive miscommunicated that if he took me off of HIS own car that, that would remove me from MY own car. Progressive agent admitted to me on the phone that they miscommunicated but said the claim will be denied either way.

If I could give them a 0 star rating I would. And on top of that the agent was rude and basically yelled at me when I said he just admitted they made the mistake and still wouldn’t fix it.

My wife was in an accident and for 2 days straight she sent them everything they asked for and then on the 3rd day they told her that our vehicle wouldn't be fixed because she was excluded as a driver. Now when we got our policy in February and then when we updated our policy last month not once did they explain to us exactly what excluded meant otherwise we wouldn't have signed it.

I don't see the sense in having full coverage then. I also think that your people should take more time in explaining what exactly is meant by certain things. For a company that comes highly recommended your employees should be better trained and be sure that thier customers completely understand their policies.

I have had this insurance for years and I got a call from CLAIMS representative James Carter. I was told that in order to for a person to file a claim it's not important to call the Police and The Police have nothing to do with a Accident.

I can say that my experience with this insurance company has been horrible, since there is no other word to describe it. There is no consistent communication, and you are always left in the unknown with what is taking place with your claim.

I am going now for 3 weeks since my accident, and have yet to hear what will happen to my car. At first I tried to be understanding because maybe the volume of claims that they deal with, but how understanding and patience can I be when I am not given answers and there is no communication.

I had a wreck in beginning of May 2022. Person at fault has progressive insurance. My car has been repaired but my claims representative Phillip Green is NOT being proactive on this matter as far as my bodily injury claim.

I spoke with his supervisor over a month ago and still nothing. Everytime I call they tell me they are waiting on hospital bills. I need this matter handled at least in a timely manner. I've explained to Mr. Green that I work for a family as a nanny who works at office of Dan Davis.

My claim being denied and told doesn’t matter if I get another estimate they are not paying for my car before they even seen damage they told me it was totaled car worth 14000 to 18000. Dollars cost of repair is 8000.

And if you pay 65 percent of car worth I should be under the cost to fix it there are charges for repairs I don’t agree with from Service king which I feel they are padding my bill I pay for full coverage believing my car will be fixed if not why wouldn’t progressive tell me I should only be covered for liability I feel very taken advantaged of.

Had a claim through progressive ins. Worst company to ever go through for auto insurance. They gave me a hard time with my claim. Never kept me updated. Never would give me phone calls back. And now not wanting to pay the tow bill because it’s higher than they want to pay.

Good evening, I’m not really the complaint type of person but I am very frustrated and my adjuster isnt available till Monday. I have been a customer for over a decade, I am an active duty service member with over 15 years of service.

I was recently in an accident which is my first “at fault” accident, I ran over a pole that was in my blind spot. Everything started off great, making the claim was easy, the adjuster called me the next day and made me feel very stress free.

I do have the rental insurance and I was set up with enterprise rental, which seems nice but the coverage only allows $30 per day which doesn’t cover the cheapest car they have. So I am coming out of pocket daily for the cheapest vehicle they have which is half the size of the vehicle involved in the accident.

Company has our cars vin# yet they take pictures of her bosses Kia. His car is garaged so no damage from storm on June 14, 2022. I have to continue to call and talk to so many people to find this out.

An adjuster does come and count dents on our car and takes many pictures. I am then asked for pics of the motor from the top and bottom. Aftermarket parts, carpet, tires, door panels, dash, steering wheel and dash. If I have to do the work why send anyone out?

Now my car is considered totalled and payment cannot be sent because I have a po box. I am supposed to give them my banking info to receive payment. Surprise, now my payout is not approved. My dumb ass got a dui two years ago and stuck with this!

I have an appointment to get an estimate on damage to my car at 11 o’clock on Tuesday. Progressive insists I leave my car there for 2 to 3 days until their adjuster can do their own assessment! I have to go back to work and have no other means of transportation.

I don’t understand why an adjuster from progressive cannot come on the same day as the collision center does the estimate?!?

Hello, my name is Jon Moore, policy # 941007208. I’m a platinum loyalty member. I had got into a minor traffic accident, Nov 1, 2021. Someone jumped out in front of me, in my lane, and I wasn’t able to stop in time, and ran into the side of the other drivers commercial van, in my 2018 bmw 430. He was apologetic and accepted blame. We exchanged info and went our ways.

I have never filed a claim for an accident b4, so I’m not knowledgeable how the process works. The damage was to the front end of my car, with the bottom fender cracked and top of the hood damaged.

I filed a hail damage report on May 23rd, a appraisal was done a month later- which is fine, but it took over 2 and a half months after that for my agent to answer any of my phone calls, and that's after leaving him several messages/emails which also never got a response.

When I finally got a hold of him he tried telling me my car wasn't worth 9,000 when it was appraised at being worth 15,000 which I had to take pictures of and send for him to agree. I know listening to people complaining is annoying and I'm not trying to talk bad about your company- I just want to know if that's normal because I can't help feel like I am being mistreated.

The customer service I received regarding an accident on 7/20 was appalling. The agent was not receptive to my issues with trying to get pictures to Progressive. I tried 3 times to use the online app to send pictures of the damage to my truck. The agent rep was not able to help me resolve the problems. So I deleted the claim. Will pay it out of pocket. I pay for roadside assistance. I had a flat tire and entered a request. I was given a wait time of 90 minutes. Two hours later, Progressive called and said my “convertible” doesn’t have a spare tire, and would have to be towed.

I told them I don’t drive a convertible, and I see my spare tire. Well- they don’t know how to “fix it” in their system. So my car HAS to be towed to a CLOSED garage, and I have to find my own way home an hour away.

Oh- and when will they be here? Between 7 and 8 pm. Six HOURS after I requested assistance. I won’t have my car back until Monday- if I can find a ride to the garage. All over a FLAT TIRE.

First off I moved from my apartment six months ago. Progressive added the new tenant to my policy without informing me and made my insurance 1,200 a month!! Then on top of that, I was dropped because I filed 4 claims in 36 months.

Two of which was vandalism which was out of my control. I’ve been with the company for five years. That wasn’t even taken into consideration. What is the purpose of paying you all this money every month if I can’t file a claim?

Isn’t that what Insurance is for? That’s why I have it. I am hurt and very upset about this. This has made it hard for me to find insurance I can afford because the cost of going to another company has doubled. Unacceptable!!!!!!

Had an accident o and reported it on June 14 2022. I ha e left numerous voice-mail regarding the status of the claim. I ha e relieved one text message claiming that an agent will go to the shop where my vehicle is located to assess the damages.

This was over two weeks ago and I have not received any communication since. I, again, reached out to the agent responsible for handling my claim and have not been able to speak to her. It is as if she is NEVER in the office despite her mailbox stating that she is "in the office Monday through Friday 8am to 10pm".

A few weeks back I needed road side assistance to come to my home and air up a flat time. The 1st cust/rep I spoke with was rude and I could hardly understand her. She stated that I could not get just air that my car would required a tow. I explained that the flat tire was in the rear and having the car towed would entail the car moving and could further damage my car just by the turning of the tire. I reported a total damaged car (that was parked) on 4/23. The driver -I believe also a Progressive- submitted all the information. The claimed was properly processed.

My car was a total loss (4/23). I have not received my pay-out. Claim #226882280

The Progressive's Representative (Mr. Grayton and Ms. Gladden) claimed not to have enough information. This is unacceptable and it is an abusive on your part. Progressive claims to be a a client-drive insurance agency.

Also, without advice, the car rental was billed to me. I had absolutely to fault. However, I am paying all the related consequences on this claim. If this is not resolved soon, I will proceed with Consumer Affairs Claim and legal action.

My complaint is with Progessive Insurance. I have been a loyal customer for years. They have been very unhelpful with my case. I hit a city pot hole and had to get work done. Yes I was one pass due on my insurance. 00.

The Insurance Company or The Ford Dealer never gave me a receipt of what I paid for until yesterday when I called then Progessive sent me one. Its a pandemic and they want more more that I do not have.

My vehicle (2015 Toyota Sienna) was in an accident on 06/17/2022, My car was parked on the sied of the street and another lady driving on the street ran in to my car and drove off. I filed a claim with progression on the same day (06/17/2022).

My claim# 22-2247970, My claim was assigned to the rep. RACHEL WIDMAR, she called me on 06/18/2022 and told me that she will call me back on 06/22/2022 with further details about my claim and how the things will be processed.

But I did not receive any call from her on 06/22/2022. So, I started reaching out to her, and since 06/22/2022 (Wednesday), I have been calling RACHEL WIDMAR 10-15 times a day every single day. I have left her multiple voicemails, and sent messages via my progressive account as well.

We were not treated fairly and judged right off the start of our claim. With that being said our claim was denied and it has been pulling teeth to ask for another adjuster or appeal to go out there. I need upper authority to call and speak to the dealer on help us get this resolved asap!
