I tried talking to a live agent but no luck. 00 a month. I never received a letter in my mail telling me that my unit is going up in May2022. If I would of known I would of vacated it.

Have a 10 × 10 in Hixson TN, on Gadd Rd. We've had this Unit since 2017. Prices have gone up, and we have started to remove items to save money. We have misc boxes, night stands, dvd racks, chairs etc.

We have a a brand new twin mattress, box springs, a queen pillow top mattress, mattresses had covers on them. We stopped in today, and mice have chewed the Dvd rack, matresses were covered in mouse feces, they made a hole and got inside the matresees, which have feces smeres.

We reported this once, we cleaned it up after NO response. Your responsible for keeping the mice out. Your insurance does'nt cover it, our homeowners does , and will require court action. I expect a swift reply this time, and the matter rectified.

I rented a unit in lakewood back in Dec 2021, in July 2022 I lost my mom my oldest son my home and the family pet. I kept in contact with public storage CS LINE as everything started to go in a down ward spiral and the loss of my son really put me over the edge financially and mentally.

All my son's belongings ashes pictures our pets ashes paw prints were in my storage unit and of course these are definitely things I didn't want to lose. My complaint is about me receiving poor customer service from TAMMY who runs the location on Decker Blvd in Columbia SC. I had questions on the fees so I called in to talk about them, which I was not rude at all. I just had questions.

She was not professional at all and when I told her I was able to pay $30 she said ummm and acted like my $30 was not enough. She talked with attitude and was so rude answering my questions.

I hate this storage place! They are so weird! I run an online business and my house is shared with four other people so space is limited. I come often to grab things that I need and leave. I don’t come everyday maybe twice a week.

I kid you not, EVERY TIME I GO TO MY STORAGE the workers follow me shortly to be nosey and see what’s inside. It’s gotten to the point where I’ve timed them and I hurry up and get what I need and close the door soon as they come up.

They use to take the elevator but realized I could hear them coming so now they quietly walk up the stairs and a few times it startled me. I feel harassed! I’ve been paying my bill for a year now and this has been happening the whole time.

No one is in the office 90 % of the time to pay my bill.. I am in the negative most of the time.. true... Their lunch break is sometimes 1200 to closing... no one is in the office at this moment and they are not returning my call...

Your manager at your West Valley Utah location on 3600 S. and Redwood Road is abusive.

Not only does he hassle me continuously but he is also put his hands on me and I have that on video.

I have a unit at the location on Roseville Rd Ga 95660. My unit is indoors. Everything was going fine until they changed the code boxes that gives me access to my unit. They reprogrammed all the boxes except the one for me to get into where my unit is at.

It has been about 4 months now that I haven't been able to get into my storage and it is still not fixed. I pay my payment every month and the late fee if I'm late but cannot get into my unit.

They keep telling me that the people who did the boxes are coming to fix it but they still have yet to do it. This is a total inconvenience to me and I feel like I'm paying for something I don't even have access to and this is not OK.

I need something done about this ASAP and I feel I should be compensated for this. I really need this matter…

Lalisha or Layneesha how ever you spell or pronounce it decided she would talk on her personal phone while she was supposed to be attending to customers with disabilities. She had an attitude and took her sweet time of 20 minutes walking to unlock a lock they placed on .. rude and disrespectful.

Do not recommend this place ! She should have been on the phone learning some customer Service tips!

1505 western Chicago Heights, Ill, this unit was rented online on 3/30, I paid and when told which unit it was inside I told James I needed an outside one he said ok your lock will be in the unit first visit due to hours I couldn’t get in went the next day Jenny was there I was at the wrong location went to right on couldn’t get in unit running late for work next time I went Saturday my unit James gave it to someone else!

36 and I haven’t seen inside this “unit” I need my money back and don’t want to have anything to do with Public Storage!! Extremely disappointed!!

My unit was broken into twice the first time they made a little whole through the sheet rock which all that seperates you from the unit next to you. they didn't even patch the whole Public Storage didn't even patch it. V.

I was never reimburseed for it. Now they are fining me for being late on a payment! If I have to hire an attorney to fight them I wii! They have terrible customer service and are quick to pile up fines for being late on a payment.

I am deeply disappointed by their lack of empathy or logical problem solving! I am seriously upset by my experience with their management. They are located at 9350 Topanga Caynon Blvd. Chatsworth Ca 91311. Don't do business with Public Storage they are a rip off organization with poor management.

I reserved a unit at the public storage off Derita Road in Concord, NC. I drove there to view the unit. Nobody was there in the office, and there was no sign indicating they were temporarily away. I waited 15 minutes anyway since I drove so far. Nothing.

I called the number and left a voicemail asking them to call me back when they returned. I never heard back. I made another reservation the following day because I need 2 storage units. Someone called me the following morning to confirm my reservation.

I told her I was there 2 days prior and no one was there or returned my call. She assured me someone was always on the property from 9:30-5 and they were 'probably in the units working'. So, today I tried to call to make sure someone was there BEFORE going.

They are the worst company! They raise your rent without any notice and claim they can do whatever they want because it's in the contract. So far, in 4 months my rent has gone up 45%. They insist on separate accounts if you have more than 1 unit with them so they can double the fees and even if you pay them, they still auction off your things!?!

I have been trying to reach someone in their corporate offices for more than 2 months and I have never gotten a call back. Now the manager has restricted my access again in an attempt to extort more money from me.

My balance is at $0 and in reality, they owe me money, but he is still trying. I am going to have to file a lawsuit in order to get someone to talk to me. Great. More money I don't have spent on these lying thieves.

I have been speaking to a few customer service and 'Managers' with Public Storage in regards to a rent increase. Today I received a call from a Roxanne that was very RUDE. She kept cutting me off, kept telling me there was nothing they could do for me.

Stated that customer care has the final word on a decrease in rent, not the facility, not the Regional supervisors, not any supervisor. There is NO ONE that is willing to help. I was told to get with the facililty manager and move to a new unit on the same property or move to a sister property.

The same size of unit I have is going for $102. My rent is $145 or so. Would it not make more sense to just match the rent and keep in the same unit instead of me having to move my belongings from 1 unit to the next... HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!

I signed a contract with Public storage and my price went from Feb of 2021 from $301 to April of 2022 to $552 with an email or a confirmation. They claim to have sent a letter by mail that I never received.

Me and my family has been a loyal customer for over 10 to 15 years at 620 Harrison St Berkeley CA 94710. Since you have gotten some new employees and a new manager it is terrible at this location. Those people are very rude disrespectful very unprofessional.

I have had the phone hung up in my face by the manager. I have been told to go somewhere else and pay my bill by a worker there. I have reported this behavior numerous times to the District Manager and still don't see no improvement.

I have to go to other locations to pay my bill due to i don't feel comfortable there. I even call for help one evening when the door on the storage wouldn't close and never got any help. I didn't get out until around 6:20 pm.

Every time I come to this public storage it's just nobody's never around I don't know what's going on I've been sitting out here for light over 1/2 an hour waiting for somebody to come take my payment it's always a problem and I have to go back to work so this is the only time that I got to come here to take care of this It's always a problem at captain nevalle drive cause there's never nobody in the office.

If I could rate this dump -10 I would! Most of my things were ruined! No numbers on buildings to even find your unit! I realized I didn’t have my key and the lock cutter guy does NOT WORK ON SATURDAY?? How stupid is that?

I was able to find my key & put some things that were ruined into the dumpsters on site- now they want to charge me $1,000 for using the dumpster left for garbage! Plus, they dumpster dove and got my daughters phone number and called her in another state to harass her for money!!

And she has nothing to do with my account, I was furious! DO NOT LEAVE ANYTHING AT PUBLIC STORAGE, you will regret it!!

Public Storage Property Location: 6117 Charlotte Pike, Nashville, TN 37209

On January 2nd I moved to a bigger unit as we needed a bigger space. Immediately upon move in I notified the Property Manager and showed a picture of the extremely large hole in the unit before leaving the property. She advised that she contact maintenance to have it fix. Awesome! I went back to the unit on January 14th and to my surprise the hole was not fix and was now sagging. They have steadily raised rent (ILLEGALLY) every month since we moved in. Starting at 100$ a month, it went to 175 rather quickly, Then we had issues paying due to covid so instead of working with us? They charged us a 25$ late fee…which somehow became 475$ owed in the next 2 weeks out of literally NOWHERE. I also got a call yesterday saying our payment didn’t go all the way through (only 175$ went thru on the 28th of January). Now 7 days later they’re threatening to sell our stuff? My gf is the main account holder and they didn’t even bother telling her this! So from what I get they want to rope u in with a free first month only to illegally coerce you into paying forever.

I have a complaint for the location at 1611 Chestnut St Dallas, TX 75226. I simply want to make a payment. I live next door to this storgage facility which is in walking distance. I have attempted to make a cash payment during the morning, afternoon and evening hours.

However no one has been available during these visits. The doors are always locked. I do not have a cc or dc to make payments online. I suggest that the entire staff be fired and replaced with an automatic lease and payment center, which would be available 24/7.

The cost for this product will offset the former ee's salaries.

Also, please be mindful that theft would also be at an all-time low.

Finally, something has to be done in an effort to correct the lack of job duties these staff members has displayed by not providing…

I have had a unit with public storage since 2018. Since that time my rate has doubled, most of which happened since the pandemic started. At some point I fell a month behind or had late payments. My payment record shows I've made a payment every month spending thousands of dollars during that time.

However the late fees piled up. I sent an email asking for some kind of compromise on the late fees. I got a return email stating they were looking into my account and would send a follow up email which I never got.

I made a payment on Jan 3, leaving me with only January payment and the accumulative late fees. I went to make a payment yesterday and found out my unit was auctioned for $200. My unit was auctioned Jan 19 only 2 weeks after my last payment and after years of holding a unit.

I live in the state of Florida. M. This was necessary, due to the fact that the 2 Public Storage offices, closest to where I live,are both closed, due to remodeling. As I entered the office, I was ordered to put on a mask, per the on duty office manager, who stated this was Public Storage's policy.

Rather than get confrontatational with this individual, I complied, in order to remit a payment.

I was trying to get information regarding my unit and the person I spoke with, Denise, was rude. She refused to listen to me and hung up on me! I’m so disgusted! EVERY single time I have had an issue I have had problems!!!!

It is impossible to get an actual human on the phone. I also have had them leave messages for me in Spanish making it impossible to understand what in the heck is going on! I feel like I’ve entered the Twilight Zone with these people!!!!

I am current tenant and have been at my location for 16 mo. , this approximately $1,100.00 for my space. The I'm having is that every time I try to access my unit either the garage door is broken again for the fourth time, the elevators don't work, the hours of operation have been changed and there are NEVER any carts available... So I was in the process of moving out of my bachelor pad to my forever home with my wife. We decided to put our things in storage until we finalized our home search. It was only in storage for 1 month and we was expired.

We was about to move into our new home together. Went to go pick up our things and apparently there was a storm that took the room off of our unit. Left everything inside molded, wet, and covered in debris.

I reserved a storage space at 2080 Briarcliff Rd in Atlanta, Ga. I printed the reservation and brought it with me to the storage facility. I presented it to the agent who proceeded with a rental agreement and charged my credit card.

She first quoted me a price $25 higher than the reservation but corrected it. Then she pointed to a drive up space outside. I showed her the reservation that was clearly for an inside unit on the first floor. She later said that my reservation had been changed.

No explanation of how or why. Just countless lies. No apologies. I asked to cancel the rental and refund my money to my credit card. She printed out a moveout receipt with her name stating that the rental was cancelled and the funds would automatically be credited back to my credit card.

On October 30 I have rented unit storage In Public storage (2461 Knapp Street, 11235) twice by mistake. One unit I have been using. The second unit was paid for 1 month. When I recognized my mistake, I did move out process.

I have never used this unit. I received confirmation about move out date of November 3. They called me and ask to pay the open balance to finish the process. I did it. After all, a manager called me to say that I have to pay the monthly payment.

On Nov 4th I went to Public Storage online app to pay my rent. Not noticing it had pre-selected acct for payment to be taken from. I clicked on submit, thinking I'd chose acct on next screen (It used to make you choose which acct but obviously changed) it said processing.

I go back to see if I can cancel it, but can't. I 15 mins later go into office, tt Leitha, Manager, who calls someone else and they don't know what to do either. I suggest I use my debit card that I was originally trying to use and was told no it would make things more complicated.

Three days later I saw it didn't go thru so I made the payment, but only to be accessed late fees, I paid Dec, Jan. Rent but currently still locked out, lien fees, and most likely will have to buy new lock.

After less than 6 months using their storage they have increased their charges by 60% from one month tot he next, without warning or discussion. This is $120 a month increase from one month to the next forcing us to pay (and do the work) to move everything.

We then made the mistake of making a reservation at another Public storage facility further out of town that still had the lower rates. 8 days and 11 phone calls later. No one called back. I couldn't even get someone to answer at customer service to cancel the reservation!

If you want rat infestation and camp mildew outside storage then by all means rent with public storage. oh and they are greedy with rat infeststion that they will increase your storage unit rent they'll give you three months to let the rats settle in your furniture and boxes with meldew smell.

I called on 1/4/2022 and spoke to Mohammed to ask if they can help me with the late fees due to the Covid-19? He advised me there's nothing they can do about the late fees. He then advised me the monthly payment went up and failed to tell me the amount. I then advised him I wasn't notified by email, mail or a phone call. Also the late fees are ridiculous too high. I had my keys stolen. Both keys were in the car. My car was broken into and various things were taken and so were the keys to the lock on my storage space. My wife went to the storage space on Whittier blvd, Whittier California and asked to have the lock removed.

The lady by the name of Patricia told her that i needed to be present. My wife explained to her that i work out of town and am not available. I phoned Patricia and she explained to me that all i had to do was go to a Public Storage where i was at and tell them that i want to set up for a lock out.

She gave me2 Public Storage locations of where i was at. I went to the Daly City California location and did exactly what she instructed me to do. I filled out a lock out form and bought another lock to replace the lock on the unit. I…
