They have not honored the 1 dollar for the first month. Someone broke into my unit and stole half of my stuff and trashed the rest of it. Likely due to the Mesker park drive Location leaving their main gate open for hours at a time.
I tried uploading pictures of my unit but it isn’t allowing me to because they are “normal pics”. I have had nothing but issues and over billing since I so regrettably started renting a space with your company back in October of last year .
The facility located on beech haven trail Smyrna ga has trash, furniture, boxes , mattresses ,etc. overflowing from dumpster. The dumpster us located in the front of the building with no gate. People are using it as a dunk. The property manager has been called several times with No return calls.
Raised my rate by $10 after just 4 mos. The unit isn't that good anyway: rusty locks, very run down unit. Just very disappointed. Did research to find a reasonable rate, only to have them raise the rate. Will never use Public Storage again.
Am currently moving my items to Red dot Storage..

Fungus and mold grew in every unit on the 1st floor causing major damage to our property and others in Va Beach. Yes they paid for a company to look at items with mold and remove damaged items plus sprayed units but they're not taking responsibility for claims at all.
They want us to use our home owners or use the company's referred company which only allows $250 max after paying $150 deductible which isn't fair because the fungus and mold started from their ventilation not working! We complained about the ventilation plus damaged flooring in the elevators several times to the management and district manager.

On October 26, 2021 at 6:30 am we went to Public Storage located at 1915 N Cline Ave Griffith, IN 46319. As we approached the gate entrance we noticed the gate was opened. As we waited for the gate to close it wouldn't close.
We proceeded through the gate to get some of our things from our storage unit. We felt very unsafe being in there with no security. Anybody could of went in and robbed or hurt us. Being right next to a busy Speedway gas station someone could have been waiting and watching to go in seeing that the gate was open.
This incident was very unsafe and cause stress for the both of us. 00 a month for our storage and feel that it should be safe at all times. I also feel that we should be compensated for this unsafe incident.

$82.09 since August 12 was charged for a unit (small locker) that was canceled the next day after it was rented because it was up a ladder.
Ever since then many many attempts have been made to get a refund.
Finally, a small refund of just part of this was made of $26.62 on 10/1/21. BUT, this same amount refunded was sent to AlliedInterstate collections letter dated 10/8/21!!!
No one has done anything, many calls emails chat transcripts... Every agent says yes I will escalate and someone will contact you. NOTHING HAS HAPPENED!!!

My unit was illegally sold under KS Law. The last invoice shows it was up to date and some ahead. It was paid up on September 10, 2021 and we were told the latest billing cycle had not yet come out.
My unit was sold September 27, 2021 with all of my belongings and irreplaceable items that belonged to my deceased dad. This company is the worst and will pay dearly for their greed.
We initialized move out online and moved out of the public storage in Sumter SC on August 16, 2021. We stopped by the office to check out but no one was there even though it was normal posted business hours.
We continue to be billed even though we’ve told them several times we moved and took our lock. They say there’s a cylinder lock on it (which isn’t ours) and until that locks removed, we’re going to continue to be billed and a lien for the contents (air I suppose because nothings in there) will be sold.

I've spent three days trying to speak with someone regarding them charging me (and seeking to collect) for the month AFTER move out.
I scheduled move out in advance, received a move out confirmation email from them, removed all belongings three days in advance, and only returned on move out day to remove my lock. And their live customer service verified last access on the date of scheduled move out even stating, "no, you shouldn't have been charged for the next month"; but referred me to a different department for resolution. That number goes straight to voicemail for both extensions. I missed one call back, immediately returned the call, but continued to be sent to voicemail again since then.

I should be able to access my storage unit which contains my property 24/7. I understand there are business hours but everyone who has purchases a storage unit from public storage receives there own PIN numbers to access the gate.
I don’t think it should be allowed to with hold anyone’s stuff by locking them out completely when they are trying to ACCESS it. Especially, when there is 24 hour surveillance and you are pay over priced for any of the storage units.

Manager stalked and recorded me continuously. He told me I was less than scum and I recoded it. I was told to never come back. The hours always went by his schedule and he would say he would call the cops if you didn’t leave when he closed the office.

I didn't have ID so my husband put our storage units under his name we had two of them one for him one for me. Then we had a falling out 8 months later and he took my name off the storage unit so I would lose everything that he didn't sell.

I went to get some stuff out of my storage room at the Trinity Mills Carrollton location two weekends ago. I came to discover that there was a leak in the ceiling of my unit and it was directly over a bin that just so happened to have a crack in the lid. Water had been sleeping into this bin over an extended period of time because it had considerably molded. This bin had no monetary value, but had very high sentimental value to me. It contained keepsakes from when my son was an infant. They were all completely ruined.
I immediately reported this to the front office. The girl working there came and inspected my unit, identified the leak, took a copy of my key for access to repair it and said I would receive a call on Monday, September 30th. I still haven’t received a call.

I rented a storage unit resently and the main gate as well as the entrance door stays open most of the time. This has been an on going problem for at least one week, jeopardizing overall security. I asked the property Mgr.

I got the storage unit 5 months ago but I only needed it until I found a new place. Which I did and moved in August I went to storage unit to get all my belongings And sentimental stuff clothes and furniture when I get into the storage unit I open the door the very first box I go to move about 15 to 20 German roaches are crawling out of it .

I went to my storage today and found out that everything in my storage unit was taken. It was taken by an ex girlfriend. I informed the Public Storage employees on 7/5/19 that I didn't want her to have access to my unit.

It doesn't deserve the single star but more like zero or at most ¼ of a star. The facility is filthy to put it mildly. Half the time only one of the two elevators is working. Often the "security" gates are left wide open so anyone can access the facility.
There have been multiple break in's and PS claimed zero responsibility and refused to reimburse or even refund the rent to the effected customers. There are unjustified and unwarranted annual rate increases just because someone complained about their unearned bonus being too small.

My issue after 6 months of renting from PUBLIC STORAGE they have raised my monthly rent from $161.86 to $207.96 an increase of $46.10 or 28.48% At first assumed it was a billing error, I was paid up to the end of the month with zero arrears owed zero later payments as a matter of fact early payments. At the beginning of June 2019 aI stopped at my Unit to retrive some articles and noticed that the facility was hot. This was a short stop but I went into the office and told the 2 clerks behind the desk that the 4th floor was hot.
