Booking Ref S81JTC I booked a return air ticket for my mother and Qatar airways cancelled the returned flight from their end and asked us to request for a refund. I received an email confirming that the refund request was approved in April but I never received money up to now.

After chatting with the agents they asked me to contact the bank for clarification. The agents repeatedly told that it has been refunded. HSBC was asking the last four numbers of the account number which you refunded the money. Despite chatting with agents many times I couldn't get the details.

I am a Consultant working for NHS and I spent a my time unnecessarily chatting Qatar airways and HSBC without any success. I believe you will understand my concerns and do the needful. Mendis

Traveling to Doha - Delhi was fantastic with Qatar Airways Business Class with great pleasure.

But I very much regret to state that while returning from Delhi to Doha it was miserable, First, it was not allowed to do web check-in no seat and meal selection, online, even though our tickets were booked through Qatar Airways later I came to know that the return flight was operated by the 3rd class carrier called Indigo, I can not explain the chaos was there at the Indigo Boarding Pass and Baggage dropping point. they were treating every passenger as a construction worker.

QR- 714 IAH - Doha May 9th A mom travelling with a 6 months old and a 5 year old. I had booked seat 32D with Bassinet. I was denied Bassinet with following reasons Staff 1: Someone vomit and can't avail the bassinet Staff 2: You have to pay for it. and you have to Prebook. (Didn't even understand my problem) Staff 3: Its for the ground staff. Staff 4: Vomit is still there and you cannot sit there.

Only reason we booked Qatar airways is for the good service though its costlier. On this trust i travelled alone with the kids. Its a shame that this is handled with such a careless. Imagine handling two kids in seat for 15 odd hours.

Hi- I boarded the flight from ATQ to DOH yesterday and had a hand baggage along with a laptop bag. I was told the combined limit is 7kg while I was allowed to board with separate laptop bag from Philadelphia on Qatar airways on my first leg of the journey coming in to ATQ.

Same problem was with another passenger (Dipali) but she was on the counter next to me. She was treated better and faintly than I was. She refused to pay extra and her non laptop hand baggage was checked in at no cost while at the same time I was asked to transfer some stuff from hand baggage to my checked in baggage so I can fit in my laptop bag.

That made my 23 kgs(allowed limit) bag to go over the limit by 3-4kgs and I needed up paying Rs 5,250 (~$68). Another airport person kept asking me to set up google pay and…

I have been waiting for a refund for a flight booked back in 2019 and for months now I have been trying to get a refund. They cancelled the flight due to Covid restrictions and it is impossible to get them to give the money back.

I have phoned they many times and they say that I need to contact my travel agent. When I contact them after waiting many hours on the phone they say that Qatar have not processed the refund. Each blaming the other.

I suggest that for safety and good customer service you stay well away from this airline. They have no integrity and certainly no customer service.

I am extremely disappointed and horrified at the treatment given to me and my family from Qatar airlines during our stop over in Doha. We had arrived at around midnight in Doha, and when we were seen to by the transfers desk where we presented all of our documents for our connecting flight.

We were then asked for proof of vaccination and pcr test (which is not needed to enter Doha, every family next to us was not asked to present it) we explained to the woman that when we boarded at London Gatwick airport they double checked and let us know that as long as we were fully vaccinated we didn’t need pcr test, as well as this we called Qatar prior and they had said no proof of anything was needed.

I had a very bad experience with Qatar Airways. Booking was a nightmare, I could not book it from the USA. The customer service was unresponsive, and it took me 2 hours to get a response.

Finally, I was able to reach a representative, but she had no idea. Despite trying to pay 10 times and failing, she told me to keep trying. Clearly, she does not even know how to resolve this issue and, more importantly, she does not know how to communicate.

Eventually, I booked it with Etihad, it went smoothly and only took a few minutes.

We had a very difficult experience with the staff at Qatar Airways in Jeddah airport during the check-in. The staff are untrained and don’t know the basic rules surrounding covid protocols to the countries their airline travels to. They kept us for about two hours and insisted we fill out the PLF online form (to which we didn’t have access to internet), even though we were just going to London as a transit on our way to Toronto and not entering UK.

We knew we didn’t need this form, but they refused to give us our boarding passes until we showed them this completed form. There was no wifi, and we had to pay someone for their hotspot just to be able to access this form.

Don’t try to fly with qatar airways. BEWARE. they’ll try to mint as much money as possible from you. If you have even half a KG extra, they ll charge you $70 for it. Extremely understaffed at the counters, there are 3 people trying to manage the entire 777 plane passengers.

They treat people travelling in economy like third class citizens. Even the people in wheelchairs had to wait. There were times when there was no one at the business class counter and they still didn’t try to accommodate passengers at that check in counter.

I was carrying a box which was fully taped and had a dent on one of corners, they refused to accept it. The worst flying experience ever, PERIOD.

I am sending you this email with deep disappointing from QATAR airways 60 days ago I purchased tickets under PNR OSYHBH and I cancelled the tickets at the same day and got the cancellation confirmation document. After almost 14 days I received half the amount refunded to my card and the rest i did not received it till now , However i tried many times to communicate with you fellow colleagues at the call center and they all promised that the refund will be after 3 days and since that day couples of weeks passed with nothing.

I kindly urge you to check and raise complaint for the case as its already passed the agreed period of refined (14 to 28 days )

Very poor service at OR Tambo airport, no respect for older passengers, no assistance. My mum missed her flight as they misplaced her covid results and they left her to go and she has no idea were she was, slept at airport in cold with no food, no communication as her phone was off. With a heavy heart, I have a grievance to report against Leticia Bonardi who was instrumental in causing mental distress with her threatening and bullying behaviour.

Story: On Feb 27, while lined up at the boarding gate in Zurich airport for the 2nd leg of the journey, I along with my family were pulled to the counter as we were transiting passengers where Leticia Bonardi was stationed.

Hygiene status of companion passengers. While flying from Zurich to Delhi last month I had a transit flight from Doha to Delhi which was sold. There were few fellow passengers from Indonesia not in the condition to walk properly and severely lacking the basic hygiene.

I couldn’t move from my seat during the whole flight duration of over 6 hours while the passengers next to my seat was first not fit to walk properly due to some problem, secondly his clothing style was from middle age and this passenger had a very annoying pungent body odor.

Traveling with those passengers is not fun so I prefer to take Swiss air next time.

The worst customer service that I have encountered in my 50 years of flying. Due to paperwork I was not able to board my flight as I was walking to board - no problem - my problem. My bags however were already on the plane and the boarding agent took my tickets and luggage tags.

Asked about my bags and they said I could retrieve them at baggage claim. Went down to baggage claim - no one is there and the ticket counters are all closed. Started phoning Qatar on their no-help line and was told you have to do everything through our website - all I get is a canned letter that we are looking into this and will be with your shortly.

In December 2021, I paid 2 flight tickets to Bangog from one credit card.

Subsequently, I canceled the flight for health reasons. I asked for cancellation, I was granted, but the money was paid to me just for only one ticket. BOOKING LNQNFW I was scheduled to take my return flight from CPT to DXB on 31st Jan and 1st Feb (when I rescheduled). The first time I was off-loaded due to them stating I didn't have a confirmed booking from DXB onwards. I checked with Qatar Airways online and with the travel agent, Travel Wings, and both stated that it is not a requirement for a second leg of a journey.

On 1st Feb, I was denied boarding as my COVID test was 30 hours old (i.e. more than 24), despite the fact the regulations state it needs to be less than 48 hours old. This was subsequently confirmed by Qatar Airways website, Qatar Airways online, and re-confirmed with other airlines flying to Dubai, including Emirates and Ethiopian Airlines.

Qatar airways customer service is very bad. I never saw this kind of experience in my entire lifetime. I travelled through Qatar airways more than month ago and they missed one of my bag and still no response from them.

I am keep on calling them and sending emails. No response from them. Worest airlines I travelled in my lifetime. My all bags delayed for 4 days, one of them got missed and one bag got broken . Hopefully someone will get back to me soon with reimbursement.

First complaint is that we were charged £460 to change a flight date. Have checked with various businesses and frequent flyers and all agree that this is excessive. Secondly, spoke with your representative Selena, who, after I had said on at least two occasions, that I did not want to pay the price quoted for Business Class reduced the cost over the phone but when checked the email with tickets was shocked to find the cost was £1000 more that said was willing to pay. Thirdly, then asked to change from Business to standard class and was informed could not do that, however, again with speaking to a number of agents, businesses and other airlines find that we should in fact be able to change the class of flight booked.

Tickets bought with Expedia Canada. flights changed as the airlines canceled the flight. Expedia said I had to rebook with airline. Airlines rebooked without using any of the funds. Now the Airlines says they cannot refund as booked with Agent Expedia. Qatar issued me travel vouchers which i cannot use as no travel plans, and say that Expedia will refund the vouchers and Expedia says they cannot refund as they no longer have the ticket

So now I am out $1100.00 and cannot find a way to get my money back

Hi This is to inform you that I was travelling from London Heathrow to Colombo (Sri Lanka) for a family emergency on 07th December 2021. Qatar Airways flight (QR 4) was due to departure from Heathrow airport at 2pm. But it was delayed due to staff shortage and left more than 2 hours later. 50. 27am.

Today i had a flight Lahore to Sydney and my connection flight was Phulet to Sydney by thai airways but Qatar airways did not let me board they said you do not have boarding pass of phuket to sydney i showed them the ticket and said i have the ticket when i will go there thai airways will issue me the board pass how can i have my boarding pass before arrived there.

Hi, my booking reference number is VH3EYK between Chennai and Atalanta(return journey) for my in-laws in 2019. They came from Chennai to Atlanta in Dec, 2019 and supposed to leave by May. Due to covid, Qatar airways cancelled their return journey and rebooked in Oct 2020.

my booking for christmas/new yer has been cancelled out of a sudden. This is very unprofessional from your side. It is not about refund it is about you spoiled my plan and my vacation. I traveled with Qatar Airways many times, but this time one of the worst experiences ever I have had. I had an international flight on the date of 19/11/2021 from IAD to KTM, and FYI I reached the airport in a time.

Then I went to the bag checking counter to check in my all luggage. I traveled through Qatar airlines many times before, so normally there are two bags allowed for the international flight. I took two bags per person to check in.

They sent my bag without saying anything and forced me to pay 300$, but I decided not to take luggage with me. I humbly asked them to return my bag, but they refuse to return, and still, they were forcing me to pay.

I am complaining on behalf of Punya Moragodage and Walter Muthunamagonnage.

They were issued this E-ticket by Jasi Jananth Travels group on the 19th October 2019 with incorrect information for the return flight. What's more, this flight was confirmed. Your client and her husband missed their flight from Colombo to Geneva on 02 February 2020 as the correct flight number was QR 669 and they were not booked on it. They had to buy a new ticket for the two of them which cost them CHF695. Your client and her husband missed their flight to Doha due to incorrect information from their travel agent. The flight number was QR 669 and their names were not on the flight. The new ticket cost them CHF695. The travel agent claims that Qatar Airways told him this new booking was at no charge. However, the client's bank statement clearly shows that it was paid for.
