Was in the other day for annual routine bloodwork, the tech pat all over my arm for 2 minutes trying to find a vein. Once she found a vein, said I would feel a little prick seconds later blood was shooting into the air instead of into the tube for collection.

After cleaning and placing a bandaid over it, she proceeded to try the other arm after telling me I have baby veins. Everything seemed fine until I went home and 3 hrs later removed the bandages from both arms to see one bruised and the other still bleeding.

I’m not sure if this person was new, but maybe more training was needed before working with REAL patients. I’ve gone to quest hundreds of times and was never told I have baby veins. I will not return to that site, maybe switch over to labcorp!

My husband went to Quest at 7:30 AM with no appointment at 9 o’clock he was still waiting there were only three people ahead of him he said the people that were working or even doing anything. I think it’s ridiculous that people like that work at a corporation like yours.

The address is 2530 Maple Road Suite 300 in Amherst New York. My husband actually walked out and said he never go to that Quest again I cannot believe the staff you hire at these places it is ridiculous something should be done about this

I arrived early at my appointment at 2:30pm for a 3:30pm appointment. m. that they had to still get things ready and then they said they forgot to make a copy of my ID . And this appointment was only for a blood draw. m.

Unprofessional attitude toward patient with aphasia and other disabilities. Wouldn't answer simple questions and refused to render service. Patient walked away without having the lab work done. There were no other patients in the waiting room or the procedures rooms.

I work at a Home care agency- pt has Oscar insurance- on IV therapy with weekly labs- labs obtained and taken to Quest- labs apparently discarded as the pt may have an outstanding balance- no call nothing very unprofessional as labs were dropped off and logged in by a professional, and not to mention Quest could be liable if the pt develops issues/complications as labs were accepted at drop off and no one stated the labs could NOT be dropped there Very very unprofessional and unacceptable

My son was a patient at Quest due to GI concerns, specifically constipation. His GI doctor told him directly that when he has the urge of a bowel movement, to stop and go. When he stated that ilat the quest office, the attending employee told him and his father that there is a policy for no #2 due to contagious diseases.

I was then in the office this morning and spoke with both the attending employee and the supervisor regarding this concern. They were both very pleasant in our interactions. They still held that no one can go #2 because of cross contamination/diseases.

I would like to respectfully request that Quest reevaluates its company policy regarding bathroom usage.

To think no one uses the bathroom for a bowel movement is ridiculous. It is occurring without employee knowledge.…

This is absolutely the worst service I have ever seen.. I am sitting in the waiting room right now. There is nobody in the front. The personnel never come up front to answer any of the patient questions or feedback.

There are 8 people in chairs and 4 people standing and people are leaving left and right. This is the same experience every time I have been to Quest as a patient. I will never use this place and I will never refer a patient.

You people should be ashamed.. you need more employees after they go through charm school.

PICK LABCORP OR AT THE LEAST A DIFFERENT BRANCH TL;DR: No customer service, poorly managed, broken equipment, no accountability.

I'm not one to write bad reviews, but I had such a poor experience with this location.

I came to drop off a sample after a procedure was done a few months back. I wasn't sure what I was required to bring and what was in their system so I attempted to call the location the morning of the appointment.

This is not hyperbole, I selected EVERY option in their Automated machine to contact anyone. The recording both told me that the line could not connect, nor could it be transferred.

I finally selected the Billing department as a last ditch attempt to confirm what I needed. They were obviously confused by this, but they attempted to help as much as they could, and…

Why dont you leave 10 minute slots open between appointments to help service walk ins? I talked w/tech and let her know 2 walkins AFTER me were taken first.

Also was told when they close at 1:30 yur out of luck if yu waited all morning and they close!!! What IS that? It takes weeks/months for appt in derby ny

Denied service by a phlebotomist @ Fenway Health. Questioned insurance, told me to get it from Med. Dept. Returned. Told it was wrong. Asked if I was being denied service. She said no, but I questioned her process. She called security.

Told I would be served 2 hours later - 3pm. Returned. Wasn't. Told I could wait until someone could treat me until 7pm. Experience left me depressed.

At QD (1340 Bolyston, Boston), 1:15pm, 12/8/22. Denied service. Phlbtmst told me to get insurance info from Fenway med dept. Was told it was wrong. Asked if I was going to be denied care. Was told no. When questioning further, she called security.

Was told to return at 3pm. Waited until 3:20 & never was called. Was told to wait until someone else. They never turned up. Was direct with my complaints, but never threatening. Surprised by her reaction. Never got served. Essentially, denied service by a Quest employee.

My company I work with has a discount on medical insurance if you provide them a form which has biometric information about me. 00 for a Wellness Screening through Quest Diagnostics. I showed the test taker the form that I needed filled out, she looked it over and placed it in a folder at her desk.

She took blood tests and sent me off for a urine sample. When I came back she was gone. I could not ask any questions about the form. I returned to the site on 12/7 to have them complete the form.

They filled in the biometric information but refused to sign and date the form. s or Nurses so they would not sign the form. I paid money for a test I needed to take to get a discount on my medical insurance.

Because they are refusing to sign the form, this has been wasted money as now I cannot get…

My Technician (Jessica) was very unpleasant to deal with. I sat in the chair and stretched my arm out and she inserted the needle, and then she said open your hand. I said it is open. She said it should not have been open.

I replied that she had not asked me to make a fist. She said well you should have. But, it was not what she said, but how she said it.

m. today. My instructions were to arrive 10 minutes early. m.. There were 2 people in line ahead of me because the lab didn't open yet. The two people checked in as no appointment, then I checked in with an appointment.

Those 2 people were taken ahead of me , they had no appointment and I did. m.. I mentioned what happened to the woman taking the information in the lab room. SHE IGNORED WHAT I SAID!

Quest is Rotten to their potential employees also!!!

This company is NOT one to seek for employment! They will hire you and then fire you before your 90 day probation. They will find or make up reasons to get rid of you before then!

I have worked for them and did all the right things and I was conviently let go behind some fabricated false incident They accused me of and I was soon let go right before my 90 days and bonus. I heard they've done this a lot. Unfortunately they seem to get away with it too. They have their favorites and they (even corporate) are extremely shaddy! Do Not work for Quest Diagnostics! Especially the Clifton NJ location!

I am still fighting this situation that occurred with me! They have not heard or seen the last of me. I will get my justice.

What is the point in an appt when they don’t follow the schedule? I have been sitting in the lobby for over a half hr and the board says they have 0 currently being served and 9 appointment in the next 60 minutes.

They have called NO ONE back since I walked in the lobby. I have stuff to get done, as this is a pre employment drug test. This is ridiculous.

I had lab's done at Quest inside Walmart and and had a appointment and had to wait 45 minutes. The place was very dirty had no had sanitizer and the lobby looked a wreck. I had never seen such a dirty place in all my years having lab's done.

The bath room sink faucet was loose and had no soap. Back to the lobby area the place needs a paint job. Thing's had got to change.

Was sent to Quest at 526 Penn Ave Pittsburgh Pa 15222. Upon arrival I was greeted by being told that my doctor cannot just send me. She then proceeded to go on a machine in the lobby and directed me to schedule, now there was No one waiting to be seen.

I complied and it said no appointments. She then rudely said I’ll take you and when we got back to the room she began yelling and then told be to sign. When I asked what I was signing, she said I’m not serving you.

Refused to do my lab work. I asked for a number to corporate and she told me it’s in the lobby. I had to go back to my doctor and get orders for a non Quest lab. Completely unprofessional!

We keep getting bills but no test results. Doctor does not have. When I call Quest the computer states nothing owed. I send back bill with note stating send result with bill and I will pay. If I call to talk to you I am on hold for up to 55 minutes and can not get through.

NO HAND SOAP (even alcohol) provides in restroom?! This is health care service place:) You can’t sanitize your hands after collecting the urine specimen. Force you left your cc card, and easily changed you money. They required an credit card hold payment when you are commercial insurance.

I don' like the way they do. I have no option to refused provide cc card. I explained that they could send me the by when service not covered. But they refused this option.

The employees were professional in the Lake City office but the wait times to get in , is frustrating. Technology is creating longer times for the baby boomers 60 to 80 year old people trying to figure out the kiosh check in system works .

It appears that the employees are spending more time in the waiting room trying to show the old people how to check in on the kiosk machines : which is slowing down the whole process for patients to get in and out in a timely manner. The upside of this is that if you sit in the waiting room 3 or 4 hours you make friends and get to tell your whole life story

I had a pre scheduled lab appointment on 11/25/2022, 7:10 am. 5150 Journal Center N E, ABQ, NM. I received the text to sign in when I arrive. I signed in and next text said to proceed to lobby. I did building was locked.

Another patient arrived we stood in the cold. No one ever opened the building. I had to time to take time from work for this appointment. I work full time, my husband has stage four cancer that has metastasized…I have limited time.

Now I will have to take more unpaid time off.

The new appointment system is very bad. 1.) I arrived 45 minutes early for my appt. The wait room was empty. They told me that the “system” would not allow them to sign in to take my blood until my appt time - even with nobody ahead of me. 2) while I waited there were two elderly women, one of whom spoke no English, who were diabetics and needed Their blood drawn after being NPO. The lab tech told them that they needed to make an appointment for later in the day Which would’ve meant that they would be NPO for much longer and put them in danger of going into Ketoacidosis. One of the families left in tears, not knowing what to do or how to get their blood drawn for their appointment with the doctor. It was criminal and unnecessary

Why if no one is in the back getting blood drawn they don’t take the standby appointments.

However they scheduled me an appointment at 2:10pm that is waist full time when you are paying for parking. They could have taken me the twelve minutes before Timon they reached. Maybe you should explain the standby option at this location I’m checked into

I made an appointment to have blood drawn on November 16th at 8:10am. The appointment was made online and I received a confirmation code via email. When I arrived at the Ellicott City location, I found that the location was closed due to renovations.

I filed a complaint via phone and have been contacted by customer service but I have yet to be contracted by Management. This is not my only complaint. I find the checkin process to be inefficient.

Furthermore, there is no privacy as your name, DOB, and other personal information is available for those in the line to read. I am requesting that I be reimbursed for lost wages for November 16th. I work 2 hours away from my home and I would not have been able to fulfill my workload responsibilities for that day.

I called 4 times regarding a bill and received inaccurate and conflicting information each time. I now received a letter regarding debt collection and I am worried my credit score will be affected. I was told each time I called Quest Diagnostics that I should not pay the bill as the amount was wrong and that I had to wait to receive a letter with the correct amount.

This never happened and now my ability to purchase property is affected. Quest Diagnostic has only succeeded in making my life was more stressful. If I could give 0 stars, I would.

I received notification my results were ready. I followed direction to receive results. When I could not access my results I contact QD. I followed directions and waited for verification code. I tried 6 times then I gave up. The date for blood draw was November 9th.

I had an appointment with my doctor on November 15th. My doctor did not receive results.. I tried again this evening same result, nothing from Quest Diagnosis . My doctor is frustrated with obtaining results in a timely manner. Doctor suggested I use a different lab.

Went on line to set up an appointment for an elderly client. (I work for a geriatric care management agency.) 5 Appointments were left and I took the 3:30 time. Sent the Caregiver and client to: Quest Diagnostics, 57 Long Pond Rd. , Plymouth MA where the 86 year old client was denied services. Michaela, the phlebotomist claimed the appointment did not exist yet I personally made it earlier in the day. I had to include the client's name, dob, an email (mine as a Care Coordinator) and telephone number (Office number NOT a mobile - this question was asked). It further asked for insurance information either now or at the time of the visit. I opted for at the time of the visit. If I missed something, forgive me. Michaela stated that she can't help it if the appointment didn't register.

After years of good service, I recently experienced a deal breaker for Quest Diagnostics. This year, the morning following Halloween 2022, the first morning appointment (7:40 am), I was greeted by a new face. A dark haired young man who was still intoxicated from the night before, and the only person in sight that morning.

He was barely able to speak properly, nor see through pitifully swollen eyes. I made an exit so fast that I nearly stumbled out of the front door. I've made a few attempts to lodge a formal complaint, but the degree of separation, created by their upper-crust, makes it impossible to do so.

Do one minute of research and you'll see for yourself. Quest Diagnostics has lost my trust. Beware folks!

I was told I don’t need an appointment- I sat in the waiting for over an hour the staff was rude. They let people go in front of me as I patiently sat and waited. About an hour later I made an appointment and they still took others that came after me.

Just unreal with the check in process and all I had to do was drop off. Seriously don’t come here avoid avoid avoid or make an appointment and expect bad service.

Website prioritizes appointments but does not discourage walk-ins. I understand a walk-in must wait. Today, there was a sign that said appt. Only. I drove 1 hour. The technician was very rude and then walked off and shut the door.

Another customer in the waiting room apologized to me because of how she treated me. I was shocked. This location has been very good in the past. If no walk-ins are to be accepted the website should indicate that and the te h should never be so rude.

My wife and I are both Quest patients; she needed lab work for an MRI as soon as possible; checked in to the Horsham, Pa location for a 1:10 appt, left about an hour later with the board still showing about 6 people ahead of her still waiting to be seen. We watched one of the only tech working leave the drawing room to kibitz with an off-duty colleague who stopped in to make some copies while the patients were sitting and fuming at this lack of concern for their rights.

this was on 11/10/2022, and my wife's name is Janet F Hudson. We had to re-schedule for the next day at the Abington, Pa location.

A worker of your. Vicky. Was yelling very loud at her Co worker in front of me. I have a heart condition and my heart started to race because the yelling g was so loud. At 1st I did not know if she was yelling at me.

When I asked her name she gave it to me and tried to explain. Her yelling. But told her I did not want any explanation. I had blood drawn by another co worker. I think it was the one she was yelling at. I had an appt.

At 9 20 this morning in Mansfield ct. Please ask this woman to refrain at yelling in front of her customers. Thank you.

Quest Diagnostic in Jachsonville with zip code 32257 I have the worst experience of my life. The most rude people work there with 0 feelings so you expect humanity. I was on the waiting list for 3:30 in their lobby with a sick child and in the end they said that the laboratory is closed, they don't do tests when there were no other patients there.

This is very serious and scandalous, this behavior.

I had a scheduled appointment for the earliest appointment it would let me schedule which was 10:20. I showed up at 815 and there were no appointments waiting but the phlebotomist seemed annoyed me and another lady were early. There were 2 others that arrived while I was waiting and they were turned away for appointment scheduling.

This is a very dangerous practice as people are being refused health care unless an appointment is made.

Additionally there was one appointment where the drs order was not faxed so she had to wait and rather than taking myself or the other lady they were waiting for a drs order for the patient that had her appointment scheduled earlier. It takes less than 5 mins for a blood draw and this practice of refusing to see patients unless an appointment is made.

I've recently received a bill for services that I didn't approve, however, was told that I signed off approving the bloodwork. It was my understanding that I was signing to approve the items covered by my insurance as I would never approve having tests that weren't covered.

The technician wasn't clear and I signed a black strip not seeing what I was approving! It was my second time back at the lab as I wanted to be sure that codes were correct in order to receive coverage.

So, why would I approve items that weren't covered? The technician had trouble verifying code and had to call another technician into the room for verification. I kept asking if they were covered and he assured me they were! I don't feel this bill is my responsibility!!

I've been trying for 6 months to get my 90 dollars refunded and I have got nothing but lies and deciet from Quest diagnostic. This lab company is the most horrible deceitful customer service ever. I still haven't received my monies even after speaking to customer service and promising from the billing department that I would receive a check.

I would never ever recommend this lab to anyone for recommendations.

The people at the Davenport office are very rude and do not know how to be professional. We had an appointment at noon and it took until 1:00 till they finally brought my 91 year old dad back for his testing.

Imagine having to sit that long when you are 91. And when I asked what was taking so long they got very rude! And I hate that no one seems to speak English!

list of complaints for1383 E. Osceola Pkwy, Ste 1383, Kissimmee, FL 34744 1. Waited for almost an hour after my appointment time to be seen. 2. Phlebotomist Marie returned to the room with gloves from the previous patient still on. 3. Took gloves off to enter information did not sanitized her hands. 4. Asked for ID and Insurance card, gave her a military dependent ID. Was told that is used for insurance only and I need to provide another form of ID 5. Proceeded to put gloves on and drew labs. Once again at no time did she sanitized her hands 6. Asked her not to use a lot of tape because it cause me to itch and I get a rash. She proceeded to put 6 inches of tape on my arm. I removed it in front of her. 7. I ended up with a small cut about 1-5 inches below the phlebotomy site
