I have been staying here for one year. Egbert, for the most part was bearable (ie; black mold in bathrooms and kitchens) until recently, I moved to a room and noticed cockroaches, I asked management several times to get an exterminator.

Finally three months later, one sprayed my room. My husband was harassed by manager for my complaints. I have accumulated points to be eligible for a free night. Was told I can't use it. Now today, the manager has put some sort of barricade at entrance of motel.

So one can not go in nor come out. I have pulled up to barricade scram times this evening trying to get entry to room I've paid for. It's this barricade a new thing for all of red roof inns?

I would prefer my name not be mentioned so we aren't subject to more harassment.

Were booked at the Yemassee Red Roof on November 13. Five minutes after entering the room, our pet cat was covered with fleas, they were everywhere in the room. We moved out after cleaning the cat in the bath. The front desk gave us another room: same problem. Our room was credited (see picture of cancellation email), we left and had to find another place to stay in Yemasse, not to mention the numerous flea bites my daughter and I had to endure. The fleas had infested our car and our Florida home when we arrived the next day. We treated the cat with flea treatment and sprayed flea treatment in our home and car twice, but the problem persisted with new flea bites on my daughter's body and mine. We finally had to hire an extermination company.

Red roof inn in farmington hills MI. My phone in room not working toilet backed up. Was told nothing cam be done till after 0700 as MO maintenence ppl close by. So I can't use bathroom while I wait I demanded another room after upset clerk because I bothered him said only room is on second floor told him can't my mom can't do stairs.

Said I have to wait then. Horrible no phone no bathroom but hey he got to go back to watching movie or something on his phone. Horrible in sanitary place

The day I was asked to leave. I was moving from 234 to 231. Me and my boyfriend was arguing. The manager came to our old room and my boyfriend cursed him out. Then manager told him to leave then told me to leave but I never said a word to manager.

My wife and I stayed at the Huntington wv red roof inn. We were coming in town for an appointment. We have stayed all over the country red roofs before and never had an experience like this. the front desk was amazing.

The room cleanliness was awful. Blood on the walls. Inch thick dust on the walls behind the bed. carpet wasn’t vacuumed. It was late when we got back to the room that’s when we noticed how nasty it was. When the lights came on.

I always travel with cleaning supplies. I had to clean my whole room top to bottom before I felt comfortable enough to stay there. I could have asked front desk to move us but we have two dogs and all of our stuff was already set up in the room.

We stayed at the red roof inn in Hilton head south carolina. The room was nasty there was trash under the bed that had been there a while it was covered in dust. The room stunk. There was roaches on the counters.

The termastat for the heat was broke so the room stayed hot. Half the lights did not work. There was trash lying every where out side that stunk. The bed sheets had stains on them. I am trying to attach pictures but it won't let me.

com. When we arrived, after a twelve hour drive, check in was great. The receptionist was very nice. The building was being renovated on the outside, which was clearly visible upon pulling into the parking lot. Which we had no idea there was construction being done.

Upon going up to the third floor to our room, the whole floor was under construction. There was plastic taped down to the hallway floor, the entire hallway was packed full of boxes, dust and construction debris. There were boxes all in front of our room door and we barely had enough room to get in the door.

If there was a rating of negative numbers it would be a “negative” 10!!! We stayed at Red Roof, in pa, between Danville and Bellafonte. My friend checked us in. When he came out, I asked him how much was it? He stated “449 dollars”!!!!!

He said It was because there “was a football game”!!!!! ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME!!!!!! If it were me checking in, I WOULD HAVE laughed at the proprietor AND LEFT!!!!

Went to your inn at Livonia Georgia! Checked in,went to the room #211 opened the door and the desk clerk had given us a key to a room that was already rented! We have always enjoyed staying at Red Roof but after this extremely dangerous situation we most likely will never use your facility again!

Somebody could have gotten hurt because of the negligence of your employee and will contact local law enforcement to be aware of this den of filth!

I was a resident at Red Roof Inn fir several months. I paid on a weekly basis. I was later informed that there was a new owner who was implementing a new policy where we could only stay 28 days.

I stayed in night & moved the next day. 68. Apparently it wax sent to a wrong address 6 weeks ago. I’ve talked to different people about my refund but continue to get the run around. Attached you’ll find receipts to verify my request.

I called your main booking line on 11/04/2921 to book a two night stay in Phoenix. I expressed to your kind agent that I would be caring for my 18 month old and 4 year old grandchildren all day on 11/05, and that I needed a safe environment to accomplish that.

She was very helpful and kind and I felt secure in booking the Red Roof Inn Plus Tempe, on her stating they had room availability. Once I arrived to check in, staff was decent until they made a frightening and major error.

They told me I was assigned to room 336 and gave me my keys. I went up to room 336 to place my belongings and when I opened the door I was aghast to see a filthy room, unmade made, clothes strewn everywhere, tattered bags on the floor, and smelly.

My wife and I were bitten by bedbugs at the Inn in Mt Laurel, NJ. I would rate the room at a 4 for cleanliness. There were no wash cloths in the room. After a 10 plus hours drive from SC, we were too tired to search for something else.

We had an experience with bedbugs about 10-12 years ago, so we know what we're talking about. We stayed in that room on 11/2/2021.

I was overcharged on two different occasions and they threw me out without me finishing my next night because I complained about the monies that they were stealing from me and I'm very not happy I've already made a complaint via corporate but now I'm sending an email on the 3rd is my first night that I got a room they charged me $24 and

Red Roof Inn Dickinson ND Stayed there on 10/1 thru 10/3. 52. Upon arrival after 3PM was told all housekeeping staff quit. Asked us to come back in an hour. We said we could check in elsewhere. Was told all hotels were full - which I did not verify.

2 hours later we came back and got our room. Elevator was dirty and had trash. Room - had not been cleaned. Toilet top had hair all over lit. Toilet not scrubbed nor tub or sink. Went to Walmart for cleaning supplies.

On hands & knees cleaned floor with clorox and paper towels. The towels came up BLACK next to toilet and brown the rest of floor. Same in kitchen area. Rug not vacuumed. All sorts of crumbs and food in the toe kick area of kitchen cabinets.

Carpet in bed area not vacuumed. Lobby and hall way were never vacuumed the whole time…

This was at the hometown studio in downtown norcross. Was staying with a friend for maybe a week or two was there when it started getting cold their heat did not work in their room at all and they never fixed it so

I left to go to Motel 6 and they're still there paying 400 and something dollars a week with no heat and I know my friend is very cold natured and I just hope she doesn't get sick because they don't have an actual maintenance man on site or that's what I think might be wrong but this needs to be fixed

Good afternoon ... As a loyal customer of Red Roof Inn (294061) for many years, I have experienced many good nights at various Red Roof locations. Yet all the years as a loyal customer can be dissolved because of one bad and costly experience.

On September 14th-16th, I stayed at the Red Roof Preston Highway location in Louisville Ky. That night when I was checking into room 108, a man came into the check-in area and said his room, 110 smelled of ammonia type chemicals and he couldn't stand the smell and wanted another room.

So, he was relocated to another room. I now understand why there was such a heavy smell in room 110 ... it was due to a bed-bugs extermination process. Within 7-10 days of staying at this Red Roof location we discovered bed-bugs in our bedroom at home.

Cleanliness is an all time low. As I walked into my room I already was not impressed the floors were dirty and sticky, I saw dirt and dust on the lamp shades the lamps themselves were dirty, there was bodily fluids left behind on one of the comforters on the beds.

You walk into the lobby and even the lobby is not very clean. I booked a handicap accessible room and did not get that even. There is a desk but no chair to sit down at the desk. The only lock on the room door is the lock from the key.

No chain lock at all. I booked hotel for 3 weeks but only stayed for 2 nights until we could get into a cleaner and healthier hotel. I do not recommend staying at this hotel.

I made a reservation with Red Roof Inn Plus in Garden City, NY, hotel #266. I made the reservation through Agoda. I was charged $309. 01 on October 19,2021. Oct. 21 and Oct 22. When I made the reservation i made known that I have two standard poodles.

No one said anything to me about the dogs until I arrived and was told that there is a strict one dog policy at hotel #266. As we never were given permission to register on Oct. 01 on my Capital One card.

I have tried repeatedly to speak to a manager at the peoperty. A manager is never there, never answers, and has not returned my phone calls. I have stopped payment on my Capital One card until we can resolve this issue.

The co-workers up there are judgmental and liars... I have caught them in several laws about renting separate rooms out certain rooms they say are not available and they are some of their co-workers are letting me know that they're lying to me the one young blonde girl specifically will not stop lying to me...

She keeps accusing me of having a boyfriend that has been kicked out of there for destroying a room which has never happened and she will not let it go that is not me she is rude and she does not do her job very well... Red Roof Westlake Ohio, front desk person, Marie is a bully and rude, just stopped for the night and she swore they didn't have a room with two beds, but she was lying. I made the reservation an hour before on the road and the listing said there were 3 left.

When questioned, I was told if I was going to make trouble, she didn't need me there. Not sure how asking a the question why did she say she didn't have a 2 bed room available was trouble. I was nice, I didn't argue with her.

I see no reason to be rude to your customers. It was late, we needed a place to crash. Fortunately I was headed home and didn't need to take a shower in their disgusting tub with the ring around the side!

Checked in late after a long drive and a car wreck and night desk worker was rude from the start and talked to my husband like he was slow or something. Then when we got in the room she quickly called about to many people in the room because my sister and brother in law helped us carry luggage and get us settled in claiming we had been in and

Left iPad there. We called that night and was told it hadn’t been turned in, but my name and number was taken. I called two days later and asked about it. I was told they have no proof I left it there!

I said, I know I left it there. He said he would ask the cleaning lady and call me back. That was a week ago today. I believe I left it on the bed while packing. If it hasn’t been stolen, it ended up in the wash or under the bed.

He wouldn’t check the room. They have “no proof” I left it there! Poor customer service to say the least!!

I was issued a VIPPass by dept. # 20765 ( Tulare, Visalia) for one night free stay in any property of RedRoof. The free pass expired on 12/31/20. I was not able to use it because of covid and pandemic.

I have called the customer service number many times and left my details for a replacement and or extension of my free pass. Till date nobody called or made contact with me. Hence I am forced to write to the corporate office hoping some action will be taken.

Stayed at the Grove City location on Oct 9th had to wait on a room at 4:00 pm went to room showered left for rehersal dinner came back at midnight got ready for bed, bedbugs started crawling on me I killed 3 got up and checked my bags for bugs set them outside the door git dressed and left . The Place was dirty and in some disrepair, Elevator area was not well light and the smell of cigarettes and pot was over whelming amounts of towels for 2 people was limited ceiling looked like it had water damage. rugs were filthy .

In general the Motel was in poor condition. I realize that there is a pandemic but located on a general tourist stripe you would think it a little more up keep. I will not recommend this motel to others very disappointed as you were a good motel.

The Red Roof on Lincoln Hwy PA. The motel left us with a bad taste, the ceiling in our room had a huge water stain the door does not close properly and the bathroom door was hard to close. There were only 2 shower towels for 2 people.

The Elevators were sort of sketchy and smelled of cigarette and pot smoke no ice machine area looks like unfinished construction very dirty! Fir motel that is on a main tourist drag it is in sorry disrepair! On the plus side your staff was very pleasant , but I will not recommend you guys !

This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. The room was discusting, it stunk of mold and mildew, the floor was sticky and dirty, the bathroom was nasty and we found out after the fact there were bed bugs as my family has bite marks.

It was so bad, I sprayed the room down with lysol and took one of the wash clothes and wiped the floor down. We left to get some food and called while we were out to cancel the next night and they confirmed.

I told them we would be right back to grab our stuff and check out. I called back to confirm the night was cancelled as my husband handed the key back and the guy didnt give any document to confirm the cancellation.

first they asked me to pay a deposit that was not stated on the website, $100. i tried to negotiate a way to pay them with my mom's card (i was not able to pay the additional $100 on top of the room cost-- as it WAS NOT STATED THERE WAS A DEPOSIT) and

they made her fill out an email form with her id and card photo even though i tried to do that already. after an HOUR of trying to work this out, THEY SAID THEY HAVE TO WAIT FOR THEIR BOSS TO CALL THEM BACK.

so after an hour of waiting i am still sitting in the parking lot in my car. this is ridiculous. you cannot treat customers like this and expect them to be okay with it.

Allentown, Pa. Checked in 9/30/21-checked out 10/2/21. Room was NEVER cleaned. I NEVER got clean towels. The bed was NEVER made. The sink was DISGUSTING !! I complained when checking out and the clerk responded with "I am sorry" , " I am sorry".

I feel entitled to some compensation for my inconvenience. I paid exorbitant rates to stay in a pig sty. Is this how Red Roof does business? I have stayed at this location over 40years but will probably not be back to be taken advantage of, without reimbursement.

I have rebooked several times within a 2 weeks and its always something with the front desk, first they told me a 50 dollar deposit and then they told me if I pay cash for the deposit I'll be fine, so when I rebooted they told me I have to give another 50 dollars after they already have a fifty so now there holding a hundred dollars of mine.

Also one person told me its late charge after 12:00 noon and today at this moment I went down to rebook at 11:25am and she charged me a 20 dollar late fee and said to I can check out if I don't want to pay it. I do you respond to the billing when you have already booked your room and spent your money through a third party, it not like you can get your money back . At that time.

We had made reservations to stay at the Red Roof Inn, High Point for the night of September 23rd. We received a cancellation notice (275-526573) as well as a phone call that our credit card had been rejected. We gave them the information again via phone and the card went through.

Had they bothered to rerun the information before calling us, there wouldn’t have been a problem. While talking with the receptionist, my wife, Patty, asked if the receptionist was wearing a mask and what was the policy. We booked a room for our one year wedding anniversary in Williams AZ on October 3. When we got to our room the bathroom door looks like someone kicked it in. The shower hanging by a thread. Took pictures and went to the front desk.

We went to RRI in Shreveport la. Room 111. The room was DISGUSTING. BIG cobwebs hanging on the furniture. My husband about flipped out. While he was waiting for me to return the key to the office a freaking prostitute drove up and was motioning to him and then she was our dog and walked off.

I had to speak to the clerk through a think plexiglass wall. WEIRD. of course we lost our money on our 2 minute stay. This is false advertising. The website shows a wonderful room and in reality it looks like a motel in a 3rd world country!!

My Name is Nanette Jaynes and my husband, Aghila Bader, and I spent Sept 20-22/2021 at Red Roof PLUS + at #206 Nashville airport 510 Claridge Dr. Nashville, TN 37214.

We have spent many pleasant nights at Red Roofs in several states and have always been happy with the price and the service. Claridge Rd. Red Roof was the worst experience we have ever had in any hotel, not just Red Roofs. Aghila is a loyal member of Red Roof.

I'm helping a friend file this complaint. He has been living at a hometowne with his family. His name was on that room no issues at all. But the stayed with a friend who was very rude to office staff.

Because she lied about how many ppl where in the room and also maids found plastic bags on smoke detector. So she is banned from renting a room at this particular hometowne. But my friend had nothing to do with redness or plastic bags on detector.

Or that his name wasn't on friends room. What I'm asking does he deserve to suffer his friends fate of not being able to rent room? Im helping my friend because my friend has great renting of other rooms on same property.

the room was filthy, coffee maker but no coffee, used soaps, light bulbs laying on the beds & tv was not working. I left my sleep number pillow by mistake & they said they didnt it. Really, it was the most horrible experience.

The place was in holton, Kansas & we live in Nebraska. 00 a night for dirty, moldy room, is outrageous. Thanks for making our Anniversary miserable.

I need more than 100 words to explain everything wrong. Pot smoking EVERYWHERE including IN the room right near ours. Bodily fluids on one of the blankets. Pool closed due to renovations and won't be open till June. 2023. But more like 2024 because the construction company tends to not snow up.

Don't hire a new company, just deal with this I guess. No chairs or benches outside so nowhere to sit at all outside. Filthy floors. Dim light bulbs. So you can't see the filth I am thinking. There is more.

If we didn't have our rabbit I would have checked out immediately. Paying $150+ was a complete rip off. You should be embarrassed to have this hotel as part of the Red Roof corporation.
