I did not feel safe in my room there was drunk people in the stairwell smoking my room smell like smoke and the bed was dirty with hair them I get woken up my 4 men talking loud by my room window, I had booked 2 nites I only stay 1 I try to get a refund for one nite and the manager told me no .. worst hotel ever worst customer service

Hello I am reaching out to do to the fact of me being banned for life from all red roof inns everywhere. The reason being was due to something I did when I was 16 years old. The room wasn't in my name as I was too young but yet because I had paid I am banned.

I understand why you felt the need to do so. But now I am an adult I am 43 years of age and have 2 children 24 and 10 both boys. My youngest child and I would like to visit my oldest in Oklahoma city this coming September and because of something I did as a child I can not even take my children on a vacation and stay in your hotels.

is there any day to remove the ban

Horrible night. She moved me to a noisy room next to the service room when they were doing laundry till 11 PM the air conditioner made all kinds of noise and kept me up all night and they asked for another $50 cash deposit when I got there which I think is a rip off I’m just so disappointed with the whole thing it’s probably one of the worst nights I’ve ever had and

it was part of a 2000 mile trip I was making by myself and I needed the rest badly

I made reservation to the red roof5016 Hayes place Wilson north Carolina. it was a disaster. the manager told us the rooms aren't ready. we waited in parking lot till they cleaned room. once in the room we noticed. the dresser draws all open.

we came from Connecticut for a week to this hotel. I went to the manager who very unprofessional. I went and got a worker to go the room he seen the roaches crawling every where. the manager didn't want to give. me my refund.

I told him my money better be back on my card. I work for yale University. we have hospitality in school. something needs to be done they need inspection. all the time I spend more money going to another hotel where it was cleaned for my money.

they need to be shut down. you need to charge people the right price. ✅

So sorry I stayed here. 13 hr drive- room was never made up. Move me to a noisy room next to the service room kept me up till 11 and then the air conditioner made noise all night long it was the worst I’ve ever heard as far as a motel room air conditioner problem they also charge me an extra $50 deposit when I got there after I had already paid for my room.

I don’t feel like that is legal. I told the girl I was going to come down and get an adjustment and she never contacted me. I thought she would at least give me a call but obviously didn’t care.

My lack of rest at this motel was brutal on my trip the next day as I had hardly any sleep from the noisy air conditioner. I can’t believe this motel is part of a major chain and they are proud of this

was excited to travel to Mass to watch my child play in a basketball tourney, sleep was well needed after long travels and playing hard all day! my room was not anything I expected, There was dried on fluids on our end table, only one towel in the room, dirt left on the floor, it was our only option as we were 4 hours away from home and

children that needed sleep, then here goes the barking dogs all night long, the front desk was very rude when I could not take no more and called them, I was told to try ear plugs, like how rude is that! come to think maybe long term people housing there, they hung out all day and night by the pool in a little smoking section , all i could smell was weed, and was so broken that my children had to listen , smell and encounter this experience.

Got to property on Guhn rd Houston TX. Waited15 min while desk clerk finished her personal phone call before I was able to check in. Only after filling out all of the paperwork was I informed that I needed to produce a $50 cash deposit which I had to leave to get.

The desk worker asked me how long I would be because she was ready to leave and go home and no one would be at the front desk to check me in if I didn't hurry. Upon going to my vehicle I was approached buy someone who attempted to sell me drugs.

I thought maybe it was a fluke went and got $50 and returned. After paying the $50 deposit I received the key and a room number with no guidance on which direction that room would be found so I drove around the hotel until I found it and

I made reservations in Denver 6 months early. When we arrived, we were assigned a room with large 2 foot long holes in the wall, the air conditioning did not work, there were at least 15 cigarette burns in the comforters of our non smoking room, and

the lady who checked us in told us to call 911 if we heard gunshots in the middle of the night…not the front desk. We checked in and out within 30 minutes. 45$ that they owe me and they will not refund my money. I provided pictures in.

My family and I stayed in the Town Home Studios in Spokane Valley, Washington. The hotel was overrun with drug use including active drug users shooting up in the hallway, drug paraphernalia left about, and people actively tripping or strung out.

I was there with my family. This is unacceptable.

Our first room was not cleaned at all. It had trash in the the trash can still and even had the old dirty towels on the floor by the front door. And then by the the sink . The second room was better and looked better but not even a table and a chair to sit in I will prolly never stay at a place like this again .

We have rented rooms from this hotel since May with the same amount of people and 3 cats. And now since 1 week ago now it is all of a sudden an issue because apparently cats are counted as "guests" and now they don't want to rent us a room because we wanted to move from a room they put us in that was moldy extremely dirty and the ceiling leaked constantly....

Hello, I would like to file a complaint with the Red Roof in Hermitage, PA. We had a terrible stay and I just want to make sure your company knows how unpleasant it was.

First, when we walked in our non-smoking room there was a plastic bag tied over the smoke detector, so clearly someone had been smoking in the room. There was dust and old dog food on the floor, and there were about 40 fruit flies in the room. They gravitated towards all our food and anything that was wet and it was so unpleasant. There was a whirlpool bath that didn’t work and didn’t have a drain plug that fit for us to be able to bathe our children. When traveling across the country it would be nice to bathe your children after a long day of driving.

My family and I had to move to the concord nc location for reasons. I have 2 kids with mental disorders. 1 of my kids has a disability. They don't ever come into to clean our room till recently. I overheard an employee that lives here talk about our room.

For one they had no right to go in our room when they never go into anyone else's room to clean that lives here. I was told we couldn't work here if we lived here but they allow others too.

I have stayed at the Santa Ana location 2600 n main st, at least 100 times and have spent thousands of dollars on rooms here. I am currently a guest on a weekly agreement in room 284. Today, 6/16/22 at approximately 5:45 pm after a long day at work I received a phone call from the front desk informing me that I will be without hot water and unable to shower for the rest of the night and possibly tomorrow.

I am extremely upset about this and find it unacceptable. I want to be compensated for the inconvenience. I feel like 1 free night for every day there is no hot water is fair. You can send the free voucher to my email.

I made on-line reservations for the Red Roof Inn in St. George, SC for 5/29/22 and 6/2/22 for medical travel reasons. I have previously stayed there and found the manager and staff to be superb. Apparently there has been a change in management and staff to the detriment of the Inn.

When I checked in on 5/29/22, I was informed that I had two reservations for 5/29/22. perhaps this was my on-line mistake. I was told that they could not cancel my second reservation- this upset me as I was standing at the counter of a Red Roof Inn.

I want to stay as professional as possible! Since September 10, 2021 I have done nothing but do what I can to make sure that payments are made to stay here in this hotel. I have been in compliance with the hotel rules and my family and I has been staying to ourselves from the time we got here until now!

My seven year old daughter stuck her hand under the cover and found a black bag. I thought someone left their money bag or personal items but it was drug needles!! I was terrified because she jerked her hand back as if she got stuck.

A mothers worst nightmare knowing your child is hurt or infected is devastating. There were dried up blood droppings on the floor as we entered the room. This is unacceptable anywhere and I’m very disappointed in the poor housekeeping staff to let that go unnoticed.

My wife and I stayed at a Red Roof Inn in Lubbock, Texas that was way below the level of quality we have come to expect from the Red Roof Inn franchise. The issues were: Wifi was completely out for our entire time there.

The first room we were given had a clogged up bathroom sink. They gave us a plunger for that. It did not unclog the drain. We felt the staff should have been willing to help. The staff then changed our room and we could not adjust the AC dials or turn the AC off.

The pool was closed and had been the last time we were there. The lobby was very hot and humid. There was no discount offered for the conditions and the WIFI not functioning. The outside of the hotel had garbage and dirt all around and the glass doors were dirty and smeared.

We will NOT be staying there again.…

I booked a reservation through Priceline for a one night stay for May 29, 2022, at Red Roof Inn in Portland, OR at what said was the airport location. On the Priceline site I was not able to get a clear picture of the building.

There were two conflicting pictures at the location address. Priceline was only a chat. The person there at Priceline confirmed it was the high tower like picture that was correct and it was quite a good size building. I tried many, many times to contact the number on the listing without success.

It would ring but then after many rings disconnect me. I trusted Red Roof so I was not concerned at that point and had no other number to use. When I arrived it looked nothing like either picture. The lobby was locked and the attendant came to a window on the outside…

Staying at a hometown studios where previous manager allowed our esa dogs to stay with us in hotel room new manager comes in and threatens us that if we dont remove our dogs from property they will not allow us to stay here anymore. TV remote did not work, room was dark -the only source of light was the window which when opened left our entire room on display. We tried to check out in the early morning on the second day and were told by the assistant manager that this was not possible.

The hotel has a strict "no refunds" policy. She would not let us speak to the manager or franchise operator. Her only option was to upgrade our room at more than double our original price. We have stayed at several Red Roof Inns across the country (we travel from California to North Carolina and back every three months) and have never seen anything like this.

This hotel is completely run-down and sub-standard to the Red Roof Inn name.

Horrible experience. Room was non smoking.

However, smelled of smoke was very bad. Kids and wife have asthma. They were sick the whole next day coughing. The bathroom had poop smeared on wall above the toliet paper. The room looked like no one had cleaned it or upated it for years.

Mold was around the top of ceiling. The floor was coming apart.

I Stayed at the Red Roof I’m located in Etowah TN the nights of 5/20 and 5/22. During my last night there one of the front desk clerks, Heather had somehow located me on Facebook and sent me a friend request.

The only way she could have done so was to look me up in the hotel records because I had not told her my name. All she knew of me was that I was there to visit with my girlfriend and potentially move there and that conversation happened when I went to the lounge area to make a cup of coffee.

She was contacted on a 3 way call by myself and my girlfriend and blantantly lied about everything even changed her story a few times. She made remarks about us being homosexuals and then stated per her manager she was placing me on a do not rent list.

Hi, I want to complain because I was told that I would get my deposit back today May 16th, 2022. I stayed their and I kept my room very clean! During my stay the police were at the hotel for another individual, banging on the door ( so loudly, it interrupted my sleep).

I also had a friend help pay for a night at the red roof inn Wilkes Barre and she saw the room , it was very clean ( she saw me cleaning the floors, the room in general and they said I had left pet feces which is not true at all).

This complaint is concerning the Red Roof Inn room 108 in Bay Minette AL May 14-16 2022

On the website and when we made reservations we were told there was a coffee pot in the room. When we arrived we also asked at check in and they said there was one in the room. When we got to our room there was no coffee pot. Also there were no tissues in the room, the laminated flooring was very dirty with some kind of film on it that left your feet black, and the entrance door bottom weather stripping was almost completely torn off creating a tripping hazard and a gap that we had to cover with a towel to keep bugs and light out. I stayed at Red Roof in (pigeon forge parkway) on May 1 through May 4. This was my 2nd stay within a month. I bumped up against my door in the room and scratched my arm. unknown to me, I bled a small amount from my arm during the night.

Hello. I’m sitting in my Red Roof Inn room in Austin Texas without a working television after the front desk refused to change my room .

First room was a malfunctioning A/C unit and I asked for another room after the second room had a non working TV . I guss the front desk didn’t want me to have what I paid for today at this hotel.

I complained to guest relations which called the front desk and was told their were no other rooms available, a lie because I saw rooms available online . Arrived in St. Petersburg two weeks ago and they told me my reservation was changed to a few day earlyer and was changed over two hundred dollars. I never changed my reservation. Someone else used my reservation and credit card.

We stayed in you hotel in Savannah last night. Our booking number was: 3183654109. I wanted to give you some feedback on our experience. It was a very unpleasant one. The room smelled like mold and within an hour of being in the room my eyes were itching and I was wheezing and had to use my inhaler for my asthma multiple times through the night. After we checked in and got in our room, my husband went to use the restroom and lifted the seat and there was shit splattered under the seat. I saw the maid cart in the hallway and went and asked at the desk if the maid was available to come to our room and was told the were gone for the day.

So I went to the cart and took cleaning spray and a towel and cleaned it myself. Then when I went to take a shower there was hair in the bathtub and old small bar of soap on the soap tray.

Someone tried to pry open my room door using a credit card!!!!! HomeTowne Studios in Fresno at 3460 W Shaw Ave needs a Security Officer!!! I live here and I'm tired of being scared. Please HELP!!! We stayed one night in Tampa, FL on May 4, 2022. I've never had such an awful experience before... the bathtub in the room was an absolute disgusting excuse for a tub & the room should never have been allowed to be used by any person in my opinion.

When I checked in, the desk staff had already told me it was the only downstairs room available... so when I noticed the tub upon arrival I never said anything to the front desk.

I was also still in shock that they would assign anyone this room... period!

To whom it may concern I rented a room 208 on4/26 to 4/27. 2022 that was my check inn date and check out date. So to start with I arrived at the hotel and waited in the front lobby for at least 10min. Maybe a lil.

Longer I rang the bell two or three times and still no one. I had already reserved the room online so finally the woman working the front desk was walking back to the lobby from I guess a room or something.

So I did everything I I was suppose to do to check inn. m. and I read the sign they had posted on your window. To make sure that we liked the room so we got up into the room and everything looked to be fine except for the wash clothes and towels were filthy dirty and so was the bathtub.

So besides those things everything seemed to be ok. Well I was going to take a shower.…

I checked into this facility on Friday April 22 and checked out on April 24th. I reserved the room for 2 nights. I placed a deposit of $150 at the time of check in on my card. I was advised upon check out that the funds would be available on my card within a few days.

I called the facility and spoke with another representative who informed me that it can take 5-7 business days. I am receiving misinformation and would like my funds placed back on my card. When checking out the representative advised me that she was processing the refund at that moment.

This is bad customer service and I will be filing a complaint with the BBB.

I telephoned the Red Roof Inn on Altamesa before I even showed up. " I did not feel like a welcomed guest at all, I could not believe her audacity.

Furthermore, when did hotels stop giving out guest information unless specifically requested? My aunt wanted me to join her in the motel and gave me the wrong room number however she is in the mature range and often gets these types of things confused.

With that in mind, the lady could have shown some compassion and at least attempted to search for my aunt. What if she needed my assistance on reminding her to take her medication? There should be some general care about the elderly when issues arise they may have special circumstances.

I had a really bad stay last month at your Hometowne Studio property in Bentonville, AR and I need to speak with someone about getting a resolution. I signed the contract to stay for a month but immediately realized when I got to the room that it had been misrepresented.

It had a really bad smell of foul body odor that was nauseating. There were people roaming the halls following me inside and out and someone was gagging all night in the room next door. I was horrified and was waiting on the clerk to arrive early the next morning so I could check out.

She said I could not have a refund for the remaining month because I signed a contract. I obviously would not have signed a contract had I known the property was not as advertised on their website. I think it is fair for me to pay for the 1…

After reading the complaints and comments from many others I am almost ashamed to cite the horrible experience my wife and I had at the Phoenix North-Bell Road, Red Roof Inn (RRI). Address: 17222 N. Black Canyon Hwy, Phoenix, AZ 85053.

I will send a letter to CEO Andrew Alexander at your Corporate Office in Columbus, OH. It is obvious that the Red Roof Inn Hotel Chain has some significant problems. It is more obvious that the problem is not always with the physical structures nor the financial strength of the company.

The biggest problem is the lack of quality employees starting at the top and working its way down to the most recent housekeeping person. Senior Management does not have control of this company. I have been renting a room from RRI off and on for the past twenty-four years.…

I am writing in regards to an issue with my reservation and stay at Hometown Suites Chamblee, Ga. I made the reservation over the phone on Monday, April 11. Due to the location not having early check in I paid for 1 night I was not occupying the room so that I may arrive early on the 12th to a room that I was told would be ready. I was told all I needed to do was present ID and my room and key would be ready. Upon arriving no room was ready and I was told to wait until they found one for me. The room I was placed into I was told was more expensive and that they would change the room in a couple hours. That never happened. I figured not a big deal.
