I was trying to place an order with Rent-A-Center at the Hornell New York store and the Wellsville New York store either one the same distance from my home anyways not only were the customer service agents rude to me but online I was approved and then when I talk to the agents I am there for not approved now they have no information for me and they're like I don't know what to tell you is that how you treat your customers I have never not paid a bill at Rent-A-Center before I would like to speak to someone as soon as possible every time I try to call the number I'm on hold for half an hour 45 minutes I still can't get to a human worst experience ever

The manager (Joe) at the Fort Valley store is very unprofessional, he does not handle business in a professional manner. My TV was struck by lightening and it took them over two months to pick up the old TV and replace it, on top of that, I was not credited for what money I had already put out on the previous Television.

I have been threatened yelled at cussed at especially by Dan and Joe. I have been a good customer for a long time and bought paid off several big items. This time l needed a washer and dryer and recliner.

But my brother died they found a mass in my lung. I told them to pick everything up and they don't come and threatened me. I'm I'm the hospital now and they are leaving horrible voice-mail and text. Please call them to ho puck it up.

I have someone there waiting. I will never use this company again tell everyone I can and call my attorney. Please help me. Store at 5 points in Calallen. My attorney is fir the sexcompaints and touching me.

Store Manager harassed me for 30 minutes on phone and in store about payments . I've been a long time customer. I admit my payment history isn't the best a lot of unforseen emergencies our family is going through a lot right now.

But the situation could of been handled differently. was very unprofessional using his own life experiences to justify being disrespectful. I paid 1 account off and trying to pay another for my parents so they won't have to do without a washer and dryer.

I basically said I'm going to finish paying off what's left in the next month or so and I'm never buying from this company again. Again I don't have the best history with on time payments but I do pay and never let anything go back I've bought furniture from this…

I have been a loyal customer for over 15 years. I have never had a problem till recently. I am spending over $20 a week taking my clothes to the laundry mat to dry my clothes because I have been waiting over 3 weeks to have my dryer repaired.

My benefits plus package will fix my dryer but does not cover a loaner. I have been waiting for a portable dishwasher since February 20. Everytime I call the store I am told they will call me back and I don't hear from them again till I call.

Than I get the same thing we will call you back. This is the worst service I have ever experienced.

Manager Cruz at the rents center on E Andrew Johnson hwy Morristown tn .. he is rude and disrespectful and had said things to me and let his employees do things that are illegal on my property.. he didn’t care about my mother and father dying or my disabled son dying and even though I was late to pay he got his money every time .

I looked at my bank account and noticed that Rent A Center took 2 payments of my account this past Saturday for 52.47 each. I only owe 1 payment. I called them and they were no help at all and didn't even put forth an effort to help me. I called the number listed on my bank account and was on hold for 20 minutes and no one got back to me.

On my bank account one was listed as a authorized debit (which I agree with for 52.47 TX 7502) There was one listed as ATM withdrawal Rent A Center TX 2123 for 52.47 which I do not agree with.

I have done business with Rent a Center for over 20 years and never has my payment been late. I do not appreciated this treatment. I would like my 52.47 refunded and when this agreement is complete I am done with Rent a Center.

I ordered a washer/dryer set that was to be delivered Friday, March 24, 2023 between 1-4 pm. I work 12-14 hour shifts in in home health. I took off early at noon that day in order to be there for the delivery.

By 2pm I had not heard anything. I logged onto my account to see the delivery date had been changed to March 28th! No one had called me or informed me in any way of this change. I promptly called the store and spoke with a man name Wesley.

He verified he had seen my name on the list for delivery early that morning but now it was gone and he didn’t know why. He said he would look right into it and get back with me. Thirty minutes later and o had not heard anything so I called back.

This review is concerning the store located at 5194 Aldine Mail Route Rd, Houston TX 77039. Agreement #: 08156232176

On March 18th, at 10:20am in the morning a driver of rentacenter showed up at my home asking for a payment. My payment was due that day. My account was in good standing. I’ve had some late payments in the past but my account was current. The payment amount was $12.78 for a bed frame. I only had 6 payments left on this item. Previously two weeks before this I paid off the bed a bed that went with this bed frame. The driver told me he wasn’t leaving till he got a payment of $12.78 and that I needed to call the store to make a payment. My district manager Patrick Ales stole my personal belongings from my work location I requested to pick my items up from him which is a cell phone with personal information in it he stated to me I’m leaving to go out of town I can’t give it to you until next Tuesday but send me your password I can send you a picture of your personal items in your phone.

I thought that was very disrespectful and unethical they he asked for my password and for him to take my belongings without letting me know. I’m plan on filing a police report.

I have been threatened, lied to, coerced, harassed and assaulted over the phone by the manager of the rent-a-center that I have rented from. My daughter passed away about 8 months ago and since then I rented a computer for my son and tablet for my daughter. Youngest.

They live with their mother. I had an issue where i was arrested and placed in jail for failing to buy child support for my daughter who is no longer here because apparently when you lose a child that you pay support for, the state of Georgia is so

My husband went into our local store to pay our bill and was screamed at by the assistant manager due to conflicts we’ve had with a friend of his outside of the store and having nothing to do with himself or the store. After this, I called corporate and was told I would receive a call back from higher up. I did not.

I called a second time and was told they were leaving the incident up to the manager. I expressed how I did not feel safe going back to that store and asked to be transferred to a near by store so I could continue to pay off my items.

I was told that they had put in a request for this to be done and the other store would contact me. This also did not happen. Now I have the manager from my current store calling me and screaming at me.

I ordered a dryer front load whirlpool electric since mine broke and they sent me at first a broken loaner they another one when I ask about my new dryer they don't seem to know or are concerned they only are concerned when I owe them money there is no urgency unless u are late on a pymt or ur rental pymt is due then they cal call call or bug bug bug I have rented alot of stuff from them I am a little frustrated like I said unless I owe them money they are not to concerned. I rented a couch. I decided I didn’t want it so I called and asked them to come pick it up. After 2 tries they finally came but said it was bug infested and refused to take it. The catch is I don’t want it, they won’t take it and they are demanding the monthly payment.

They call me no less than 3 times a day. I have already paid close to $2,000 and feel if they refuse to take it, then we should just call it even. No need to blow up my phone every day. Thank you.

Due to a highly disrespectful assumption from the company on merchandise i am buying i find myself upset about how the employees treated us when we've been buying for over 2 years and have multiple appliances from them. Since they made the accusation i find myself ready to pay off what i owe and never return for future business.

i was used as a reference at the lebanon ohio store in turn had a phone call by someone who did not at the time identify himself, asked me ifthe name allen meant anything to me? I did recognize the name and replied kalli?

All employees keep harassing me they call me 24/7 from 20 different numbers all night long they laughed in my face and have threatens me. I’m one payment late and my payments go up 40$ to 50$ they say late fees I paid a surround sound off nearly a month ago and some how it appears on my bill again I got a Apple smart watch and

I have been purchasing a bedroom set and when the came to install it they put it together wrong causing the bed rails to become faulty and therefore it broke back in October of 2022 and never received a replacement or any feedback from the store I bought it from I want my bed fixed this is a breach of contract so I demand my bed fixed and a partial refund for just this being taken care of in such a poor fashion I purchased my bedroom suite from rent a center in Sonora CA

Have never had a worse customer service experience! I set up my delivery 3-4 weeks in advance for my move-in date, spoke with an employee on the phone to confirm the date I was moving in and when the delivery would be and was told I had to make payments starting immediately.

So I was paying before even receiving my product, which I didn’t mind that much. What I did have problems with is the day before my move the manager calls and asks for my information (all fine), then the next day in the middle of my move suddenly I had calls demanding a ton of information.

When I told them I was busy and couldn’t do this now and that they had 3 weeks to ask for this they proceeded to inform ME that my attitude was unacceptable and that they could just cancel my order and how I was not being a good…

I live at Santa fe springs apartments in Phoenix Arizona and there was a truck here last night around 6:30pm and we have a problem at apartment complex and I asked the black older man if he could just back up a little more and he told me no and to go over a curb well !

I don't appreciate that and he had an attitude with me cos I'm a woman and his young white partner acted nasty too! Well I should not have to go over a curb ! The parking lot is hard enough to get in and out and I was trying to take my husband to work !

In May it will be a full year without my washer. It broke and they did bring a loaner. Since the dryer has stopped working and they would not do anything about it. I stopped making my payment and filed a complaint with the corporate office.

I have been in the hospital for going on 3 weeks now... My roommate just contacted me at the hospital on 2/10/2023 when a rent a center truck went to my home. She informed Chip an employee who was at the store that I have been in the hospital which he had already been told multiple times and proceeded to tell her if I didn't contact him in a week he was filing charges for stolen merchandise and

I bought a upright freezer from rent a center in granite city IL 62040. They told me that It was a brand new freezer. And I started having problems with it and asked them for the last 6 payments to get it fixed because I was having problems with it and they said that they would get it taken care of for 6 months.

I watched the guys put the order in the computer and when it came to the last payment I told them that I would not make the last payment untill I got it fixed and I had also told everyone that worked there that I wanted the DeWalt 20pc tool set when I paid off the freezer and when it came time for the last payment I was there to make the payment and

Called them to see if they had a table set in stock. Upon tell the employee Latoya that I was interested in the table she went on to say it is mandatory to set my account up on autopay. I asked when did they start that and she replied we have a new district manager who requires it and if you miss a payment with it we will pick it up because you have to be consistent and

without autopay I can’t guarantee that you will make your payments on time. Told her that I will not put it on autopay but make the payments and she was like I can’t lease it to you and hung up the phone!

I really enjoy renting from here I hadn't rented in a while till here recently and it's has been the worst experience I have ever had dealing with rent a center here in Greenville tx. This guy Dillon goes off his word it's something different everytime we talk.

I work alot and travel due to me driving semi trucks. Well I've had employees come to my home after being a week late and after me telling them I was out of town and couldn't make payment till the following Friday and that I would pay all late fees.

Hi I rent from rent a center but recently I fell on a little bit of hard times I have been in and out of hospital. And I'm usually very good st paying and u have been keeping close contact with the Manger to let him know but recently he has been ripping me a new one.

This complaint is for store 02829. A Rent - A- Center employee came to house on January 21, 2023. He banged on my door repeatedly. I was on my patio and did not even notice someone was knocking it sounded as if someone was breaking in my home.

The sounds of those bangs was frightening and disturbing. I opened the door and a very tall and large man asked me for payment. I had spoke to someone earlier in the week and advised I would pay on Wednesday I advised the employee at my door of that.

He then stated he wanted the merchandise. I advised him once again I was going to pay on Wednesday closed my door again. He started banging on my door again. I had a delivery and the there were two delivery men that came all the people in my home are there all the time and it's very upsetting that my 3 grandchildrens tablet that I just purchased walked out and the only people that were left in my room for my bed set up were the two delivery guys I know exactly where I left the tablets and they are all three missing I'm very angry angry by this to be violated in such a manner this delivery was a Rochester new store and

The store manager Angel and staff at the Brooklyn knickerbocker store is extremely rude. They leave threatening voicemails and are very inconsiderate and not understanding. You could miss one week and be in contact and he will call you several times threatening you and telling you he’s coming for his merchandise very rudely and nonchalantly.

Jacob @ Asheville store was a major asshole. My debit card was stolen. Payment missed. Caught it up and called the payment to store. They supposedly saved my card. Filled out the form. TWICE to auto draft the payment. Get hateful text from this asshole!!

Then TOTALLY inappropriate when I called the store. He shouldn’t have a job period. How in the world do people get away with treating customers like that. Clearly it’s a terrible company.

Rent a center is by far the most horrible company ever the employees I deal with are rude and very harassing. The manager is horrible she likes too argue on the phone with her customers. They beg beg beg for payment if I don’t have the money too pay a payment either wait until the customers next payday or ur shit out of luck.

I have already paid too much too lose my property simple as that, I would like them too stop harass me at my jobs and my family listed they are not involved. This has been the most horrible experience ever.

As soon as our payment is due (not even late) we start receiving harassing phone calls. They will call from the store phone multiple times and then they will call from their personal cells multiple times. They will call references if we are unavailable and ask them to "pick up our payment".

This is the Richlands VA store. They are rude and the items are not worth the hassle.
