I would never ever recommend going to rent a center especially the one in Kingsport. I have attempted to rent from them now 2 times. The first time they came and got my washer and dryer the next day stating they couldn’t verify my property owner and this time I ended up in the hospital and they’re telling me to return the laptop I’m renting!!!!!! So I have been using the rent a center in Junction City, KS for about a year now. I have returned products and started a new lease with them on some new products. I have been getting irriated with the way that they talk to there customers and how they treat there customers.
Every time I go to get something new, I pay for the first two weeks and ask them when they can deliver it. It usually takes them two weeks to deliver the item that I started a lease on. Then when a deliver it they say ok we can drop it off if you can make the payment or if you want us to hold it until you make the payment.
This pisses me off cause I have to pay two weeks upfront then I have to wait for it to be delivered and then they have to have another payment to drop it off. So I feel like they are getting free…

Rent a center kirksville Missouri released personal information from my account to my references. Rather than call and ask them to get in contact with me account information was released as far as my past due status and that we need to call before further action is taken. I understand I am behind and we need to get the account current but it is a privacy violation to release my account information.

I have gotten about 5 stoves from Rent a Center in Tarrant ,AL. During installation of The very first one, the man installing it wired the plug up backwards and blew the plug and breaker. Rent a center paid for an electrician to fix everything, however this is the 5th stove and they have all gone out flashing error codes (eo f1).
I just spoke with the store @10:20am on April 22, 2022 and I was told there is nothing they can do about the stove. All I want is a stove that works more than a couple of days or a couple of weeks.

I got a stove from rent a center in pine bluff in October, the first stove they brought was broken the heating element was out. They brought me another that did not work. They then had to find a different stove and it took about two weeks to actually get a working stove.
