My Roku device model #4800, which I've only had a few months, constantly reboots. I'm sick and tired of it. I have no wifi issues as my other devices work just fine. And why is Roku charging me $15/mo. For what?

Sucks hugely, and you can't write to the company. I have to call them and complain, but I'm sick of this!

Just purchased a Roku unit to use with headphones. Imagine my surprise when I found that if I activate the private listening feature, it turns off my speakers. What's the purpose of that. Yes, it's a bug, not a feature.

The latest update is a mess. They took away the boxes around the apps you land on, when you highlight something it blurs it out. The new update has made my ROKU experience worse. Please make some better changes and put it back to the way it was.

00 for Sling tv. A service I never clicked on or signed up for. I was unaware it was even available on Roku so I have no idea how I began getting billed for it. I am a disabled veteran on an extremely fixed income.

Roku never defined the charge on my bill so I had no idea what it was for. 00 for a service I never signed up for. 00. 00 as I believe this was the result of underhanded business tactics. As I said, I am a disabled veteran on a fixed income who had money stolen by your streaming service. Not good press!

You also need to refine account options for customer use.

It used to with. Now, every night I have to go through trying to access it multiple times before it will work. I've been trying for two hours. I give up. Am going to purchase Amazon Fire Stick in stead.

We would like to complain about a specific advert that is being aired about a lesbian movie. We do not appreciate being exposed to this kind of advert when we don't have a choice but to watch it., with no option to skip it. What makes it even worse is that it's being aired when children are watching tv. Please may we ask that the advert be aired later at night, after 9pm or 10pm so that we can protect ourselves and our children from this content, which we choose not to view because of religious beliefs.

I am totally disappointed since the latest update, I lost my favorites, my choice of entry first channel/network, my recently viewed channels not working properly, and I certainly don't like the addition of a specific spectrum channel as a favorite and the first channel of choice. Can I go back to a month ago before the recent updates, and how? Thanks.

My device keeps turning off. I have spoken to customer service 4 times but I can not understand there accent and the speed they talk. I explained I am hard of hearing but the adviser keeps hanging up the phone or just stays silent.

Absolutely horrendous customer service. Today we attempted to purchase a subscription to TFC through Roku which was billed to my credit card. Unfortunately, there seemed to be a service / billing disconnect between Roku and TFC as the Roku device showed we had an active subscription for TFC, but when we went into the TFC app, the app stated we only had a FREE account.

I contacted Roku customer support and they had me walk through signing out of the app, resetting the Roku, and re-signing in to the application. Nonetheless, all of the troubleshooting steps failed and their recommendation was to give up and kick it over to TFC.

Unfortunately we already contacted TFC had no record of any transaction from Roku, so they could not assist. So, Roku's answer was to cancel the subscription and…

I use the Spectrum app and it is constantly buffering. It has been determined it is a Roku problem. Please look into fixing this problem. I use many apps on Roku I would hate to have to change to another interface.

ROKU Premier not able to connect to the internet

The device manages to find my wireless connection, but cannot then connect to the internet for some reason. I have followed all the online advice about re-booting etc until I'm blue in the face! Nothing works. So frustrating. I have a plethora of devices connected to the internet via my router, and one of them is an older ROKU model that is working fine. Don't know why this one isn't connecting, as it's in the same room as the router! I'm pretty sure that when I first installed it it was working OK, but I haven't utilized it for a couple of months and now it won't connect. APPARENTLY, THERE IS NO AGENT SUPPORT FOR THIS MODEL!!!! I have received emails from both Roku and YouTube TV, about the cancelation of YouTube TV on Roku. This is a MAJOR inconvenience! I have a Roku on all of my TVs in my house, and my parents have them on every TV in their house as well.

My Roku TV's automatically upgraded my HBO streaming service from HBO NOW to HBO MAX. HBO NOW worked perfectly. Unfortunately HBO MAX does NOT work. It seems to lag behind my remote. It takes forever for me to search for a program and once I find the program and click it either freezes or crashes. Just trying to increase the sound on my Roku causes the app to crash. I don't know if this is a ROKU problem or an HBO MAX issue, but it really needs to be fixed.

There are pages of similar complaints, yet no one from Corporate seems to be responding.

I ordered a sound bar and new remote from Roku around the end of February or March 1, 2020. The tracking # is : 390 780 745 821. It showed it was delivered to my door on March 6, 2020 and I've yet to see it.

I have been writing Roku for weeks on end and they finally found my order. They told me it was Fed Ex's fault for it being left at my door. I'm sure the crazy hours I work someone stole it...BECAUSE I HAVE NOT SINCE IT YET!!!

I’m sick of emailing Roku and each customer service agent not wanting to investigate this charge that they collected from me.

I have noticed a charge from Sundance for 63.59. I have never even heard of Sundance. My husband is deployed overseas and he said he never subscribed to it. I contacted Roku and they said I signed up for the free trial and didn’t cancel it so it charged me. I told them, I didn’t do this. I spent the last year saving to buy my wife a 65” tv. I decided I would go with the TCL Roku. When trying to set it up I was required to call your customer service instead of being able to sign in with my existing account from a device I had purchased and have been happy with for the last year.

99 or $170 or so to set up an account. The reason I bought this tv was because it said on the box there was no charge for setting up an account. It said on the set up screen there was no charge for set up.

But this person told me there was no charge to set up an account but I had to pay to us it. If this is the case that is flat out false advertising. In the process he set it up but told me he would be turning it back off and hung up on me.

My complaint is not about the quality of viewing it is about billing. I am getting 2 bills a month and the only thing I have is brittbox and I go on to my account and there are no billing I don't know what in the hell I am being charged for no invoices not a damn thing I am looking for a place I can raise hell about this it's going to change or I going to start canceling . I purchased a Roku stick today and unbeknownst to me and several new customers, Roku is now charging a one time registration fee before you can activate the code.

I spoke with a manager at Best Buy after learning this information when installing the device. They were quite surprised. I am returning the device. Customers beware this is a fee for new customers only who are purchasing Roku sticks.

I called in to question 2 charges on my paypal that were on previous channels that I had. 99 was April 12th. 99 on Aprip24th sundance channel. all 3 agents spoke over me but they said I wasn't hooked up to the server.

First agent was very rude and wanted to explain what a server was! Someone needs to teach them about customer service which they seem to be very unfamiliar with. com.

I waited on the phone for well over half an hour, after having spent previous time contacting Verizon about why I couldn't get my roku stations on my TV. They finally told me they thought the problem was that the roku was frozen.

When I finally got on the line with the roku person, I couldn't understand what he was saying--he had a very thick Indian accent. After asking him to repeat what he was saying several times, he hung up on me!!

Now I suppose I have to buy a new one.

I never ordered roku. It was on the new tv we bought but we never used it. 90 I called roku and the person I finally got a hold of said he could not find any account under any of the information that he asked me for.

He was sure it had been an error and would be corrected. Well I was charged again this month. I am over 70 years old and do not feel like going through all of the things I had to do last time.

I just don't want to be charged again.

I have purchased a new roku unit whenever a more capable unit became available. I have purchased through roku direct. The last one I bought and still own is a roku3. I began having problems with it approximately 5 months after purchase.

The difficulty is that I MUST totally unplug the unit for one minute then restart it to get a picture. I HAVE spoken to technical support at your company several times. I would have called from 970-249-0161 (now disconnected) or 970-240-1551.

I was SPECIFICALLY AND POSITIVELY TOLD BY A ROKU REP that he would replace the item with a brand new on IF his troubleshooting tips did not fix it. They did not. I phoned at LEAST twice (now about a year ago) to let him follow through and get a replacement. ) !!!!!!

Service is frequently interrupted. Latest one : error code RLP1025 It will not let me go to the channels that have a lower number such as #4, 6, and 10. Picture is often scrambled. If I could, I would rate it with ZERO stars !! Lousy service.

I placed an order on June 6 2018 ,FOR a rook ultra player@ 2:18 pm with Fed Ex overnight delivery,after not receiving my product as promised the next day,I filed a dispute with my credit card company on the 7th,so now on the 8th I receive notice my device has shipped,so 4 days after the fact I will supposedly receive my merchandise..... My complaint is for $32.83 refund for the overnight shipment which never occurred... CUSTOMER support here is lousy,I understand why you don't provide a phone....

00 to upgrade. I told girl why should I pay that when this was a gift and eventually when I said I could not afford it she said then return your item. I said I couldn't believe she represented Roku because she sucked.

I did a factory reset to see if that would clear things up and that worked. Don't know name of girl but she looked into my account. She should have known to try factory reset.

I assume like most peaple when i purchased roku i had to decide chrome cast or roku. I chose roku becouse it came with free trials. Boy was i disappointed first off i have spent countless hours trying to set up direct tv now trial and failed there customer service failed twice so no direct tv. S.

off of your list of provider been on phone with dish and discovery they directed me to you and that brings up third issue there is no chat option for customers. so lets recap i got roku i cant mirror to it wont work tried windows pc and android tablet dont work.

cant watch ID becouse you blocked me cant get direct tv cant get explanation for that the 1 thing that does work is hulu but i dont need roku for that my tv can do it so i wasted the money on this product and was unable to get sdervices…

When I went to listen to one of my favorite radio programs this morning, I had this horrible picture of snakes, skulls and other putrid things by Motley Crue with the words, Don't go away mad, just go away. I shouldn't have to have that kind of junk on my TV if I don't want it.

I am very upset with Roku for allowing this to happen. I listened to my program on my computer instead. I have liked Roku because I can choose what I want to watch, and if I not longer have a choice, why should I have Roku?

Got a call for my husband from one of your call centers in Texas. Asked the guy what he wanted as my husband was getting dressed. He said he was from DirectTV and at that time I told him we were not interested as we had just gotten rid of cable and had no plans to get anything other then roku.

I then hung up and less then a min later he called back on an unlisted number and yelled at me demanding to know why I hung up on him i told him that I did not want or need his service and had told him no before, then he told me he wanted to fuck me.

With this as an example I will def not be using your service even if I decide to again go with paid tv ever again.
