I was in Sears for over an hour. Picked out an adapter for my socket set, socks, 4 shirts, a pair of shoes, a belt, a pair of jeans. Went to the counter and the "system was down". The clerk said cash or check only. I was planning on using one of my credit cards but luckily I keep a check in my wallet for emergencies. Wrote a check for $152.79. They declined it. The check was out of sequence. I explained it was in my wallet for emergencies, but I was told it was for too high of an amount. It was before 5:00 PM so the bank was still open. It's right down the street from Oxmoor Mall, Louisville, KY. as is the business I own.

I have two houses and I'm in the process of selling one. My credit score is "good" over 700. It will be higher once I get the house sold and my monthly expenses go down.…

For the record I have not received an original invoice for a service call not rendered. Instead I was sent notice of debt received on Saturday August 13, 2016. As indicated in your correspondence it’s past 30 days, and was not given the appropriate time to respond to this charge.

Why wasn’t I sent an original bill? I wasn’t even given the courtesy to pay this bill. I view this action as a means to intimidate and threaten me into paying this bill. My good credit and name is now being challenged. (If I gotten an appropriate statement, I may have paid the bill under protest).

I am really disappointed by the service by sears and its poor management. I was really disrespected by one of the sears manager when I was really polite in response to my question about the return policy and she was unprofessional and tried to interrupt me without responding to my questions about the return policy. She tried to ignore me and it felt like she was winning in front of me by ignoring me I was wonder if sears management work to make violent against different race.

was trying to returns pants that didnt fit me after having them cleaned by a cleaners. i have my receipt but it was over 30days old. but not everybody can stop in with in the thirty days so i kept my receipt for that reason.

i went to your danbury store in the mall they said i wouldnt be able to return the ones with the tags on it but they would give me another pair in a different size do to defected in the pants. so why would i want another pair?

i dont think your policy r correct. most customer in any store with a receipt would get a credit back. so on that note i will get the word out not to shop or buy anything from any sears store i will be very happy to help you with that for sure

My husband bought a watch for me several years ago from Sears. I had set it aside and recently found it in the watch box of a watch I was currently wearing. The battery was dead so we decided to have it replaced.

The girl at the counter told me that the hands did not line up. I asked how this could happen. She replied from dropping it. I told her it had never been dropped and to observe the conditioner showing no scratches.

Then she said I put heavy items on top of it. She then said she would have to send it out for repair before getting a battery. I took back my watch and left. I went to a nearby jeweler who replaced the battery in a matter of seconds and advised me there was nothing wrong with the watch.

Have been a loyal Sears customer since 1986, ALL of my appliances, tools etc...purchased from sears. So when my fridge died,,naturally I went to sears I bought a fridge, paid in cash-in full; at the Yonkers NY sears on 6/8/16. Very bad experience, since then major issues with delivery, the delivery company contracted by sears. Not the sears delivery van; none of them could communicate effectively in English. So being mono lingual, it was down hill from there. No worries after several phone calls (on hold for 30-35 min some times) we resolved the delivery / haul away issues in only 4 days.

Then there was a shelf missing in the refrigerator. I called on 6/14/16 and was told " it will be delivered within 7 days". 1 month later the matter still not resolved..how hard is it to send a shelf or…

I bought the wrong blades for my craftsman tractor. The center hole wasn't right. Took them back found the right blades witch were more money and that was fine but they wouldn't credit me the full amount of what I paid for the wrong blades.

They would only credit me the lowest selling price. I normally buy a new tractor there about every 3 years. But now I'll never buy another one there. Local mower shop just got all my mower business.

My wife purchased clothes and one of the items was backordered. Sears shipped the wrong size so my wife went back to Sears, Twelve Oaks Mall, Novi, Mi on Saturday to return the incorrect pants and reorder the correct size.

The manager could not help because she would not call another store and since the computer system was down, my wife could not reorder, all of this after my wife was blamed for ordering the incorrect pants size until she showed the manager the original order with the size she had requested. We will never set foot in Sears again and we plan to post our experience on Facebook, where one of our family works.

I bought a new car battery Monday evening, June 13, 2016 from the Sears Car Care Center at the Berkshire Mall, Reading PA. On my way home, I stopped at an auto parts store and found a battery with a better warranty for the same price.

I decided to take the Sears battery back on Wednesday June 15 and was stunned when the sales person insisted they don't do refunds on batteries. The battery is brand new and was never installed in a vehicle. It went from the store counter to the trunk of my vehicle, back to the store counter and now back in my trunk.

There is nothing in the store notifying consumers that battery purchases are non-refundable and there's nothing on my receipt stating it either. I want to return the battery and have the amount credited back to my Visa card.

I purchased a Nordic Track plug to see if it would light up the display on my eliptycal (purchased from Sears) but it didn't so I tried to take it back. I purchased this on April 22, 2016 and today is June 3, 2016 and I had my receipt which does not have anywhere on it a 30 day policy return.

I went to the local Sears store today to return it and they said it was past 30 days and they wouldn't return, exchange or give me a gift card. I despise shopping so I am not out and about very often to shop.

I purchased a brand new mower and with in 4 months it quit running. I took it to my local Sears and was told it would be back in 3-4 weeks. It has now been 6 weeks. I have called the number on my product Repair Slip and was told , the mower was ready to be shipped back to the store for pick up.

( This was what i was told after repeating numbers, name address, phone numbers several times. Person on phone had problems with English) After receiving No phone call for pick up, I called the repair department again. This time they could not find the repair order by name,receipt number, phone number or address.

I purchased a few tops at Sears for my son and I and I went to return them and was told I couldn't because I was 1 day past the 30 day return policy that is new. Now nowhere on my receipt does it say the policy changed, it does not even say how long for a return.

Sears used to have a very long return policy at least 60 to 90 days and for this to be changed without notifying customers is bad customer service. So basically I am told I have to keep my items and that's it.

Well I'm not satisfied with that answer, I have called a few customer service numbers and Sears does not care about this policy. I will also be writing Sears in person on this issue.

I purchased a Kenmore upright bagless vacuum not quite 2 years ago (Model 115.31125310. The belt broke, I got the part number from the Vac. manual and tried to find it on line but could not. Called Sears and they could not help me either. Went to the Robinson store and the salesman and I could not find the belt in the store so the salesman found one we thought would work ( Kenmore 39000). Put it on my vac. and the 1st I used it the belt broke. Went back and another salesman tried to find the (598006 # from manual) and could not but he felt the 39000 one was right refunded me the original one and I bought the second one.

I purchased a Hamilton Beach toaster oven at the Sears store in Salem,Or. approximately 3 months ago. It has been a problem. When it finishes it cycle as for toast it does not turnoff properly. This is a fire hazard.

I tried to get some satisfaction at the store they would not replace it for me. I do not have the receipt any longer or the box with the code . I feel that they should have done something other than telling me to to try and return it to the company.

I ordered a GE (2)24" stacker Washer/Dryer 3 weeks ago. Last Friday May 13 delivery was supposed to be made. We received a call saying they did not have an address. My husband told the caller he simply did not believe them.

They said it would be another week. We reluctantly agreed to the change. Today Friday May 20 they showed up. The installer took one look and said "it won't fit, the one you have has a side vent the new one does not".

When I ordered the appliance my husband, a retired engineer, brought a detailed drawing showing the side vent and ALL the dimensions. The order is cancelled.

We went to the Oxford Alabama location of Sears.. My wife was wanting to try on some clothes. The on duty clerk was completely rude had hateful toward me and she know that I was a Law Enforcement. The clerk wouldn't let me stand in the exterior door threshold to see the clothes that my wife was trying on.

And yes, I do know about the camera's in the dressing room because I spoke with a person who installed them while the store was closed and the employees were gone except for the manager. The clerk said my wife would have to step out of the changing room and basically expose herself to other customers who were in the area.

In all of my life I have NEVER seen a business with a RETURN POLICY as pathetic as yours!!! I wanted to return 2 pair of men's jeans that I bought for my husband's birthday. The purchase was on 4/7/2016 and I attempted to return today 5/11/2016.

Absolutely nowhere on the receipt does it say "MUST BE RETURNED IN 30 DAYS". While I was willing to accept responsibility for being past the 30 day period the store still refused to let me exchange the product for something that fits or even get a store credit!!!

On 4/29/16 I took my self propelled mower to store 1773 for a tune up as it would not start. Sears employee stated the normal fee is $99.00 but there was a special of $75.00. #1 I was charged $99.00..#2 I was called and told a zone cable was broken and needed to be replaced. There are two cables on this mower..one kill switch and one for the drive wheels.

Neither of these cables ever failed to operate before these repairs and further the right front wheel is lose and wobbles and they drag when being pushed with the engine off (also new). The Tech stated the spark plug was dirty and needed to be replaced. This was a new plug and the engine never fired. I asked for parts back so this is not a real problem except to question the Tech's inspection. I picked up the mower 5/8/16.

Dear customer compliant service. Purchased Kenmore stove / oven range last July 2015. Oven cleaning cycle the smoky grease comes out top of door. We noticed vents in back of stove do not exhaust / ventilate the heat. Sears customer service stated there is no charge. The first appliance repairman look at door seal, pull up on seal stated everything was good, wanted or said the bill is for $95.00, then left. Customer service stated Maria wasn't to pay $95.00.

Purchased a riding mower from Sears 2 years ago. Under the hood of this mower is a list of Parts (filter # plug # etc) for the mower. I took numbers to store only to be told these do nothing for purchasing new ones and that i need model and serial #.

You had the exact same mower with same engine on display so the salesman took serial numbers from it and sold me items for oil change and new spark plug. I didn't need the oil change right away so i placed the bag with items away for future use.

This spring when i went to do the oil change, i find the filter is not the right one nor is the spark plug filter. I took them back to exchange only to find out that because it was more than 30 days ago that your salesman sold me the wrong parts, that i cannot exchange them.

99. I also called the Daphne, Al store on Saturday (4/16/17) and spoke with a sales associate to verify availability of the Kenmore model# 20222 and also verify the price. 99. 99. I spoke with a sales associate and was told that the prices changed at midnight on Saturday.

I replied that it would have been nice if the website had some sort of notice on it somewhere indicating how long the prices were good for and that it would have been nice if I had been told that information over the phone when I called on Saturday. I am a working mother with two small children and an extremely tight budget.

this has caused a financial hardship for my family but we had to have the washer. very unhappy with this situation.

Sears put my truck on the diagnostic machine and it does not give specific information on what to fix. its up to the Auto manager to decipher what clues it may be saying to fix. Auto manager ruled it was cam sensor but did not fix the horrible miss fire in my engine.

I never received the old part back. 00 dollar total for this job. I have it in right now in a Credit card dispute litigation. 00 was charged on my master card. I am repeatedly receiving phone calls from Sears Roebuck. They never leave a message, send a letter, or inform me of anything in an email. The calls are an attempt to sell me a service contract. When I answered a couple of months ago, there was a real person on the line who said that while he was a real person, there were computer generated calls.

I asked to be removed from that list. Obviously, I was not. I have blocked at least 4 different numbers showing up on my caller I D as Sears Roebuck. When I block one, another is used. This is nothing short of harassment.

In 2012 we completely remodeled our kitchen. We bought all new appliances from Sears. New refrigerator, new gas stove with microwave above and a new dishwasher. The Microwave Hood Combination is a Kenmore Elite Model # 72186013010. We have had to replace the igniter on our gas stove twice but what has really upset us is the microwave handle. We had to replace the handle in 2013 due to plastic bubbling and silver paint coming off. Not a stainless handle, which it should be above a gas range. We had to pay $68.50 for the part and $142.56 in labor to Sears. It is bubbling again and peeling off.

The date of the ticket for replacement is Jan. 17, 2013. Service order number 40681306. Now that the handle is doing this again, I have done some checking and there are tons of complaints concerning…

We have been purchasing our products from sears for many years. We were between purchasing at Costco and Sears for our Washer and Dryer set approx. 5 years ago. We decided to go with Sears. We purchased the extended warrant package which has recently run out.

Our dryer has a huge hole in it and is not able to be repaired. We were expecting to get at least ten years out of this set. We will need to purchase a new dryer and are looking/hoping sears will offer us something with respect to having to purchase another appliance so quickly.

28 Mar. 2016 I contacted Sears services about information on my model 247289840 lawn tractor that I purchased new from Sears, which pertained to type of oil used in the transmission. The repair manual says you do not change the oil in this model however it has a spin on oil filter with a oil level plug on the side of the transmission and

a filler hole in the top so I just wanted to know the type of oil used. this type of transmission does have to have the oil and filter changed. I was told by the person I was talking to the same thing the manual says however I informed him of what is on the transmission and that maybe some where down the line the type of transmission model was changed and he hung up on me quickly.

I ordered a sears water ( 46-9690) filter in Jan -16. I was sent an off breed filter from swift (SGF-LA07) this filter leaked when installed 02-29-16. I called and spoke with many people about this with negative results. My conservations with you are listed under order # 0063530, photos and e-mails included.

I was told (03-11-16) today to send the filter back, so the company could look at it, will be another two week delay. The O rings are defective and do not allow a proper seal(SGF-LA07). I still do not have use of water from refrigerator.

What is so hard about getting the right part to the customer?? If I wanted a swift filter I would have ordered it. The price of the filter was 42 dollars, so far we have wasted at least 150 dollars in time and labor????

I attempted to make a payment on line towards my layaway on a washer and dryer my fiance and I placed in the chesterfield store. When I went on line to make a payment there was not a confirmation given that the payment processed.

I was attempting to make a larger amount than the amount due. The amount we owed up in the box to the right increased. So I assumed the website was not working. So I attempted again and again. I finally got frustrated and clicked on the layaway amount due.

This brought up a box which asked for my credit card. This was the only time this came up. I put in my credit card and it processed and showed me the amount was processed. I assumed you just were not able to make any payment other than the amount due.

To whom it may concern this is has been a nightmare every since we purchase this plan. I have been a customer of your for over 25yr and always like the way your company handle your business. We 1st purchase just the appliance warranty 90883974 until 2/23/16. 99 we would get.

I called in claim and that was denied. I previous put in a claim for a dishwasher that was having draining problems then cancelled the call because the dishwasher started working again. Then about a couple weeks later the dishwasher started acting up again.

I purchased a new snowblower in October 2015 and the first time I tried to use it, it wouldn't run. I had to load it into my truck ( I'm 68 years old) and take it to the sears outlet on Feb 1 2016.

They said it would be 2 weeks. It has now been over 4 weeks I've had to shovel snow 3 times. They called and said it was finished but no one can seem to find it. I am totally fed up and would like my money back so I can purchase a new one some place with better quality and especially better service.

I am getting too old to load something like that myself . Repair center was supposed to call me and they never have. I never was able to use it even once. A total refund is the only thing I will except.

Sears did not complete work on signed contract concerning my installation of my gas furnace. In addition the furnace is not working properly and they are refusing to look at it or compensate me for the work that was not done.

They charged me $7,421 for installing the furnace, was supposed to cut another heat vent and relocate the thermostat but only installed the furnace. I have been trying for months to resolve this matter with Katie Romano and the sale personnel but just get a machine and my calls being ignored

I have ordered two bras on-line in February. I called the store nearest me at Pen Centre in St. Catharines, Ontario and was told that I would be able to receive the sale price of the bras had they gone on sale.

I called the catalogue # and was told that I could not have the reduced price. I feel that I was mislead by a staff member.

Also I believe that if the item ordered on-line should also be available for the discounted price as if I was shopping in store. I am still shopping with Sears. a customer who is not satisfied and seeks other options for shopping needs or a customer who is completely satisfied and would continue to shop with Sears in the future.

On February 24th 2015, I ordered online a craftsman snow blower. I used it for about 3 hours later that month. I then stored the snow bower in a building until November 2015. When I tried to start the blower it would not start and I was using the electric start option. In November I took the blower to Sears and they sent it off to be fixed. The repair people said the carburetor needed cleaned. I stored the blower in my basement for two weeks and got it out to start it because a snow storm was coming. Guess what - it would not start again. I took it back to Sears in Beckley WV and they sent it off again. Three weeks later I went to pick it up.

I purchased a washer and dryer had problems before they were one year old had one year warranty on them. Each time I called for service I had to wait 2 to 3 weeks sometimes over one month. had problems with the dryer also.

Both items were purchased at their outlet store I believe they sold me returned items . Who has problems when the washer was less than a year old. Now washer has the same problems as before same loud noise will not spin out I have 4kids here I need a new washer and I donor have the money to purchase anew one I refused to get extended warranty with them because each time you called them they made us wait forever

I ordered 2 prs of Barely There thigh high hosiery. They came I opened one pkg and only had 1 nylon in it not the pr. luckly the other pkg was fine. Please send me a new pr. 95 cost.

I have tried the Sears cust. service website but any of the #'s from the shipping form I put in does not work for the order #. Very frustrating.

I just spoke to a complaint person about an old shotgun I bought and was going to give to my grandson. I checked it out on the internet and found out that it was dangerous and sears was buying back the bolts on these guns to remove liability issues, for several years. It is a JC Higgings model 583.20. The gun has a history of exploding and obviously the bolt has to be returned or destroyed. Sears was paying $165 for the bolts to get them off the market and avoid any catastrophic legal issues.

I spoke to the complaint person but I think she thought I was speaking about to guns going on fire. I got no where with here. I have been a Sears customer and a good one for over 35 years. This gun is dangerous and hopefully you will buy back the bolt and give me a credit.

I has windows installed the installer ruined my alarm system. 00. I called sears they said they would call me back. I have heard from no one. The installer also drilled a hole in the frame. There is cold air coming in threw the sides of the windows.

On August 2015 I had an oil change at the Sears in Puente Hills, City of Industry CA. Here is where my wife and I have our oil changes done on our Toyota Siena's for years. On he day of August 30 2015 I noticed that my car was leaking oil onto my driveway after I got home from my oil change done at the Sears in Puente Hills.

I immediately took my car back and told them about the problem. After a while they told me that the mechanic that worked on my car damaged my drain plug on the oil pan. They ordered two oversize plugs and said that it might stop the leaking.

I waited all day at this Sears and finally they said they were able to stop the leak. I told them to make sure because I know when you damage threads the only way to fix it is by replacing the pan or tapping the damaged pan for a…

A Sears tech came out last week to fix my dishwasher and after checking it out he wasn't sure what was wrong but said it was 1 of 2 things so he ordered the part and it came a week later and a different tech came to put it in. phone # 636-233-5741
