This is not complaint, but a compliment! Hats off to the gentlemen of the Tunica, MS Shell service station, Fred and Ed. They were working the morning of July 17th. My family was about to take a very long trip and needed something for internet access in our vehicle.

I have been going to the same gas station for many years to cash checks from my Fiance who is a OTR driver. The Manager knows me personally, and never gives me any hassle with cashing checks. I stopped going to this gas station as it was not a need anymore, and recently started going back since my Fiance switched companies.

My Concern: My cost totaled $29.00, however my receipt showed $29.01 (inv# 027177). I went inside to speak to the cashier and he informed me that the pump rolls up and that is why my receipt showed 29.01. He stated that a gallon of gas is $2.699 and the pump will roll up automatically.
Question: Even though it is a "penny", is it your policy to roll up? I think about how many customers you have and a "penny" will net a pretty large sum over a period of time.

Your Shell gas station in Cordelia California refuses to give customer receipts at the pump. None of the pumps print them out. Instead they make you go inside the store and wait in line to get a receipt. They do this for two reasons.
One, they don't have the expense of keeping the pump printers loaded with paper and two, they force customers to go inside the store where since they have to wait inline they will buy something while they are waiting. This practice is manipulative and does not qualify as good customer service in my book.
Many people just need to get gas and go as quickly as possible. Our company uses a Shell Fleet Credit Card. I refuse to get gas at this station again. I will instead use my Unocal Fleet Credit Card.

I bought gas at the shell station in Kannapolis, NC. I was to get a 28 cent discount on my gas purchase and when I put my card in pump and the pin number it said I would get the discount at the end of pumping.
When I finished pumping the discount did not show up on my receipt. When I asked the lady inside she said she could do nothing about this. She said you do not let them know nothing.
