To whom it may concern: I am a very dissatisfied customer with Spectrum reference to my bill heist. 00 in one month now in December 2019. I called Spectrum customer call rep. and she tried to explain why my bill jumped so high.

I have been a valuable customer for the past 15 maybe more years. I have a computer I purchased 20 years ago, and the rep explained that I have a internet raise. I feel this complaint might not help my bill in the coming month, but I can express the way I feel about why as a valuable customer my bill should be going up and not being offered a bonus for being a valuable customer.

I know I have the option of continuing this service or seeking other competitors which I will be.

I spoke to Sara, a billing operator with Spectrum (spelling unknown for name), and she was incredibly unhelpful. In fact. I have spoken to three different spectrum representatives within the past several days, and all three of them have communicated completely different information about charges on our account (every time claiming resolution of charges by the end of our conversation).

I have been with Spectrum / Time Warner for almost 30 years. It's very frustrating that there is no recognition for customer loyalty (even my car insurance gave me a discount after just 1 year). Prices keep increasing but quality doesn't improve or it decreases, increases even occur during promotional plans.

Employees need to be consistent in what & how they inform people. Please don't be surprised when I finally drop your service and don't ask what could have been done to keep me as a customer.

I called your customer service department to cancel my service. I spoke with representative, Jake (he gave his operator # of 17099). He was initially pleasant enough and told me I could simply return the modem to the nearest UPS store and they will do the rest.

The problem began when i asked for the address the modem is to be returned to. He told me he did not know; but the UPS rep would. I pushed the issue to have the address, it is the holiday season - and they have multiple temps and i just wanted to ensure it was package correctly.

Some of the worst customer service I have ever seen in my life. If any other service was offered in my neighborhood I would cancel my service. I am completely unsatisfied. This company is dog shit. If I see a fee for speaking with a customer representative I will call my bank and dispute the charge.

I am in awe of how bad of service I received.

I have been trying to get Spectrum to remove their temporary above ground cable line "Trip Hazard" and install the permanent cable line to the house for almost a year now! I call them back and the circle happens again and again!

To anyone with these service issues stop trying to go through Spectrum and file a complaint with the FCC over the internet, they send a letter out to Spectrum and force them to resolve the issue! "Supposedly"

I cannot use my email account for the second time in two months. I have explained to your company on multiple occasions my email keeps getting locked out by some moron in you security tech department. In vain I have tried to explain I have two spectrum accounts.

One in Bozeman MT 59715 and another in Lenexa Kansas 66227. This evening I was on the phone speaking since 7:30 PM MST until the time of this email which is now 9:45 PM MST. I have spoken to 8 techical service adviser who have absolutely no clue on how to help me!!!

I, Cynthia Ramsey, called in a few weeks ago to set up a cancellation for my mothers (tammy ramsey) account because she passed away. ) I was then told that the current active equipment on my mothers account would be able to be transferred to my fathers account, internet router, hd cable box, minus the dvr box(as it wasnt included in the promotion).

I called into customer care today to get this transfer completed so I wouldnt have to activate this new equipment that i got and couldnt use. I called Customer service to cancel my service since i was moving to another location. 99 but doesn't include the phone. 99.

Subsequently, I told him that I will shop around and get back to him. He thought he had put me on hold and I heard him mumbling " what the fuck". Now, my suggestions is if you want to curse the customers, make sure you put them on hold first.

July 2019, I dropped TV from my service, as the cost kept going up and up. Since then, the internet has been slow, intermittent, or not at all. I have had a serviced tech at the house, every month since July, (sometimes 2 and 3 times), trying to find the issue.

The line from the pole to the house, has been replaced. The line from outside the house to inside the house has been replaced. The modem and router have been replaced 3 to 4 times. I finally asked to speak to a customer service supervisor.

The whole story was told to her because apparently not everyone I spoke with, made notes in my file. She said she would get to the bottom. This was Dec 8, 2019. I have not heard back. A Service Tech Supervisor did come to the house Dec 15 and checked everything.

During a move from a house to an apartment, Spectrum lied to me 2 times about the switch.

The first time was when I called them, 3 weeks before my move, to tell them that I would be moving and asking them to switch my service to my new address. The person I talked to said it would be better financially for me to discontinue my old service and start new service at my apartment. The Spectrum employee told me that my new service would include the channels I wanted (particularly ESPN and ACC Network), and would be about $40 a month cheaper than my current rate.

At about 5pm - 7pm nearly every night it takes so long to download streaming from Netflix and Amazon Prime. Even when already watching a movie, many times the video is interrupted and needs to be downloaded. The circular timer on the TV just goes round and round. Last night the streaming stopped 3 times in a row, shows downloading, the movie rums about a minute or two, then needs to reload again. I just turned off the TV. I feel like I am wasting money using your service. People I know who have Hawaiian Tel do not seem to have this problem.

I have been with Charter now Spectrum for 15 to 20 YEARS!!! 00 or so a month for only 2 cable boxes and that all I get from spectrum!!! Paying that much money a month it should conclude internet or something else!!!

Maybe commercial free TV, the commercials are longer now a days than the actual programs even on. Same way On Demand!!! Unhappy spectrum costumer!!!!!! Bill goes up up up and so do the commercials , thinking about looking at other cable options!!!!

received a call from Spectrum saying if I don't pay $376 dollars my service will be interrupted. Since I didnt receive a bill for November with Chrirstmas season in full swing this is not my fault! he didnt like it when I got upset because he stated to me "if I continued to get upset he was going to disconnect the call"!

I was transferred 10 times today between 3pm - 7pm and still on the phone... Trying to switch my account from TWC to Spectrum to get 100mb internet I have Cable, phone, and internet and was told I HAD to switch to a Spectrum account SPECTRUM owns TWC(TimeWarnerCable)

No person in the entire Spectrum Company knows what to do... They even chuckle at my frustration,, Which is even more annoying

Recently got a notice of an increase in price for current services. This is a more than 20% increase following a 20% increase from last year. This is ridiculous to say the least. Spectrum spends all of its time and effort on new customers and absolutely no regard for existing customers.

As a result , i have cancelled most of my services. 95. A more than 60% DECREASE. It doesnt take much to figure that this business plan is doomed to fail. With your poor customer service and your ridiculous pricing scheme, its only a matter of time until this business implodes.

I have had service with spectrum since August 2019, and needless to say I should have passed on the service. Recently I have had one death of my grandmother and my mother being hospitalized and financial hardship. When I first started service I had to make more than 3 service calls at the beginning of my service and numerous problems.

00 that needs to be paid. Spectrum cut my service off and basically will not override the system at all. I'm not asking for a hand out, just human compassion when it comes to life and all the surprises that come about.

I was having some issues with billing so I called several times. Many of the people I spoke to where rude . I then decided to go with another company. I spoke to spectrum and a lady even took my number to give to the technician in my area so he could pick up the equipment.

I still have the equipment and I am also still being billed for services I'm not using after I told spectrum I would not be continuing my services . I need the equipment picked up and my bill fixed I discontinued my services in November

I spent 30 minutes on call, transferred to 6 different departments starting with tech dept. to fix my modem. We contacted Spectrum for new service (changing from Frontier and Verizon (cell phone)). They scheduled us for installation on December 5. The installers showed up & could not install saying they needed an engineer who was not available. They rescheduled it for today (12/10 between 10-11 am). The men showed up to install the cable (on time) then left. We contacted customer service who informed us they left to pick up additional equipment and would be back in 10 minutes. An hour and a half later they had not shown up. We call again and are told the soonest it could be installed is December 17th. The type of service Spectrum is offering so far leaves us hesitant to go forward with them. We are very, very disillusioned with the service, untruthfulness and lack of concern for us.

I purchased my personal modem/router and called Spectrum on Nov. 27th to advise them to remove the $10 rental fee for their modem (which was a piece of junk). I then thought I would cancel my phone service I have through them.

I was not told that this would impact my tv service. I guess I should have considered that. I asked if any equipment had to be turned in. I was told no and that I was good to go. The next day I received a confirmation email telling me my cost would be reduced. That was Nov. 28th. Then on Nov.

I have been a good customer for 18 years, since moving to Maine. My wife has serious dementia and I am her caregiver. One of her daily activities is watching TV. She rarely watches any program for over 10 minutes so surfs program to program.

I turn the TV on and off for her and assister her when she hits wrong buttons. A few months ago, I saw on my bill that many On Demand movies were ordered. 94) and showed me how to add a code so it wouldn't happen again. That's been working well.

24 charge on it for NHL Center Ice. BTW, we have never watched a hockey game in this house. I called Spectrum and told them that it was not ordered, but somehow got ordered in error. My wife does not know or use the code, so not sure how it even got ordered.

The following was sent to Spectrum but thought I'd share - To whom it may concern – I am writing to file a complaint about the treatment I have received after canceling service with Spectrum Mobile and returning the phone (in perfect condition). Here are the details: I signed up with your service on March 31, 2019 and because service was not meeting my needs, I canceled the service on April 24, within the trial period.

I took my phone into the local store and told them I wanted to cancel service and return the phone. I was told that I could NOT return it at the store but had to call an 800 number to return it to the warehouse.

By far the worst experience with trying to get internet service, we called looking to get service where we lived they said that we where a certain amount of inches away and that they could put a line in for us to do so. Called back a few days later after receiving a welcome packet talked to a later that scedualed an appointment for friday between 8-9 nobody showed nobody called.

I called to see what was going on and said that construction was needed to be done, note I talked to the lady before she set an appointment and said everything was ready for someone to come out, I called once again and talked to a very rude guy and then I asked for the manager which all he did was say they canceled they did not call they did not email.

When my bill went up again I called spectrum CSR. My bill had gone up to $196 and I asked for internet only. CSR says that will be $89 a month. TV advertises $45 a month. CSR - That's only for new customers.

I said no and called back August 25th and cancelled all service. CSR says I've paid thru the 19th of September. I said, no shut it all off and pick up your equipment. Two separate CSR's tell me I've paid thru September 19th.

Your CSR's flip flop dates, times, notes and say most anything including lying only to show that I'm the irate customer refusing to pay my bills. I just got off the phone with another CSR that said her notes indicated I was offered internet for $64 and I declined.

So I just found out why so many Spectrum customers are upset and really dislike this company. I live at an Apt. complex that had bulk cable/internet services that they provided to the residents for a low price included in the monthly rental.

When Spectrum went to digital ~ 1 year ago each resident was REQUIRED by Spectrum to rent a cable convertor from them to continue receiving cable channels. Fast forward a year and Spectrum cancelled the Apt. complexes bulk account. Resident were then forced to get services for cable/internet from Spectrum themselves.

I visited my local Spectrum office and requested that since my husband passed away (I provided a copy of the death certificate) and the account was in his name only that the account be considered a new account in my name so that I would qualify as a new customer and eligible for the new customer rates "Triple Play Gold".

I have never had an account with you in my name. I was informed that I could not be considered a new customer as service was already at my current address - though not in my name. 96 because I do not use any of the movie channels or the sports packages as I use Amazon Prime or Netflix He was not very helpful - told me to give up one of my TVs and save $25.

Was on the phone with a representative, was constantly told spectrum never has or will check connectivity or put a service line into my house for a new access point. The support representative was rude and put me on hold for unreasonable amounts of time just to say he didn't know what to do. I have closed my account on September12,2019 in the Spectrum store on Northdale mabry Tampa Florida, and the representative Didn't close out the account nor forward the equipment back to Spectrum until October and until this day i'm still receiving bills. Spectrum/Bright House is one of the most awful carriers anyone can have. If you have a choice seek other carriers, I had no choice to have them if I wanted service, I live in apt that don't want those sattelites on the bldg.

And also they have a contract with the Company as well.
